Lamb made a statue for Ratau to honor his crown bearer era and for being their mentor. old man almost died then and there

(there was supposed to be an extra panel with ratau crying @ the knucklegang yelling 'tHEY MADE A STATUE FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' with happy tears and flinky trying his damn best to calm him down but i got lazy)

I also needed an excuse to draw pocket edition bishop Lamb so here you have it. big thanks to Narinder for going absolutely jam with the chisel.

From Mountain Tops And Under River Beds (also the Aftermath AU), my take on the aftermath of the Monkey King: Hero Is Back (2015) movie

(Bajie doesn't appreciate the sun. It roasts them under it's glare and pricking sweat at their skin. When he looks up from his struggle he saw something he'd never noticed the Monk had ever worn before; it was unnoticeable as it was tiny; a little monkey charm just barely the size of the mortal's pinky finger.)

(It was worn and old and made with something like compacted solid clay. It hung from a braided straw of fine hemp and two wooden beads from the top of the charm's head and the end of the periapt.)

(Zhu Bajie momentarily forgot the blistering heat as something else carved it's way beneath his skin, gnawing deeper than what the sun can reach and the laughter that have resounded in Heaven's lungs— biting at it's epochs.)

I love these kinds of aus so much, like the whole idea that one of the ninja can be lost to there elements is so interesting to me but heartbreaking for everyone around them. Like just imagine one day there here and the next they’re gone well technically they’re still there but not at the same time.

In my au so far it’s more focused on the aftermath, how the ninja handles what happened to there brother and filling what I feel the show missed out after what happened in seabound like we barely got to see how the rest of the ninja handled it like all we had was a time skip to a whole year later when they had mostly accepted what happened ( well not Jay). How would it had been if it was someone else and not Nya? What if it was Kai instead, how would this affect the team? Most importantly Nya and Lloyd? What about Kai and Nyas own parents?? And can’t forget about Skylor , how would this affect the team and overall what about Kai?

In my opinion Nya wouldn’t waste the chance to get kai back like that’s her brother, the one that literally raised her. He’s isn’t just a brother he’s literally a parent to her and Same with Lloyd. The ninja would probably go down a different state of grief, Lloyd without a doubt would be depression, Nya would be denial, it takes them longer to accept what happened to Kai and Lloyd starts to lose control of his powers a little. They both lash out at people who want to help, but just as Nya starts to accept what happened to her brother something happens to Lloyd ( no spoilers).

And kai is there to help them but he’s mad at them he doesn’t understand why he’s even mad at them, he doesn’t even know them. Lloyd argues back, and something snaps in kai causing him to somewhat come back but he’s still stuck as his element, his minds is half gone half foggy he’s sometimes unsure of what’s happening around him but at least it can’t get any worse.. right.

it is me again with the weird ass secretly angsty AUs!!

I'm not quite sure if I should name this one an AU tho, since it's more of an- Aftermath (wink wonk) after the game's storyline but i suppose that will do. Including Bishop/God Lamb, Follower/Disciple Narinder and honorary dad, Ratau!

More info under cut because yes, i've put an unecessary amount of effort into this (Also PLEASE look at how small ratau is in comparison i love it)

This takes place around 50 to 80 years after the game's story.

Lamb started growing around five years into their godhood. They can shrink can whenever they want to around Narinder's height.

Narinder's clothes were designed by Lamb. He is actually their second-in-command, closest servant, or whatever your want to name it. And their husband, because of course.

Ratau can't quite see Lamb as a deity and therefore isn't entirely devoted to them per se. They see Lamb more like their kid still, and Lamb is actually entirely okay with it. Ratau and at times the rest of the Knucklebones gang visit Lamb's temple, and may stay a few days, but they still all live their own life separately as per usual.

The reason Ratau is still alive is that Lamb granted him immortality, which later expanded to the rest of the Knucklebones team as they see them as family. Lamb STILL clings desperately to anyone they consider family after the slaughter of their kin.

This immortality can be taken back, and it was something mentioned by Lamb, in case they wish to eventually pass onto the next life.

Ratau has his own statue at Lamb's camp, which is Lamb's way to honor him as their mentor and previous bearer of the Crown. and paternal figure.

Even though Ratau isn't quite the Lamb's follower, he has a piece of cloth wrapped around his tree branch and some gold accessories dangling by it in their honor.

Lamb makes clothes for both.

Lastly, Lamb gave Narinder a request: that if they ever start losing their mind and become evil, Narinder is to kill them and take back the Crown and become a God again or rid of it and either continue with his life or undo his immortality and pass onto the next. Narinder deeply wishes this will never happen- but is almost sure that is vain hope. Ratau knows about this deal.
