BYE BYE BLACKHEAD - 30DAYS MORCLE GREEN TEA DETOX BUBBLE CLEANSER
Few pumps of the material then spread evenly around the face and avoid eyes and mouth. Let it bubble up for around 2 minutes. Waysh off in lukewarm water then the other skincare regimens.
I like to use another simple micellar cleanser and do a wipe after for a bit more cleaning. Then I will use toners and serum.

Hello friends, I need some skincare help
I am wanting to come off of prescription Clindamycin for acne because I have to start paying for my skincare by myself soon along with a bunch of other adult stuff
I have dry, somewhat acne prone, sensitive skin and cannot use fragranced products and I used to have oily acne prone skin but that changed when I grew up- I'm 18 so I don't need like peptides and wrinkle stuff, just acne (if that helps)
Do you guys have any acne products that you recommend?

These ingredients are some of the best to help prevent and treat acne:
Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid can be found in many different acne products including cleansers, serums and spot treatments. It helps to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells. By doing this, it helps to reduce acne.
Benzoyl Peroxide
Benzoyl Peroxide is another great ingredient for acne. It kills bacteria and removes dead skin cells, to treat, but also prevent acne.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide has many different benefits. When it comes to acne, niacinamide helps with inflammation from acne, which can reduce pimples. Niacinamide also helps to reduce excess oil that causes acne, which helps prevent and treat acne. It’s also a great ingredient for hyperpigmentation.
I am not a professional. I’m just someone who loves skincare and wants to share my research and opinions.

The Mirror
June 7th, 2014
“But your face, it is breaking out”
“Can you apply some aloe vera? it cures acne instantly”
“I heard adding a pinch of turmeric to a bowl of curd three times a day removes acne and acne scars”
With every single “remedy”, they told me to cure my acne, I ran to the kitchen. Organizing a mix of ingredients and using my face as a canvas to play with it.
“You look beautiful, Hamsi”, mom would say
“I hate how I look Ma; everyone has clear skin at school,” I said
“It doesn’t even show Hamsi pattu. Stop looking into the mirror and come have dinner”, mom said and kissed my forehead.
The Mirror was the worst place I could ever visit. Every little flaw stared back at me. Every little detail wanted to seek my attention. I wanted to tear my skin apart and set it on fire. Whenever people pointed out my flaw, I walked away. I ran from the voices inside my head, and I ran from people too.
Friends kept looking at my bumpy forehead. Ann always said her skin had lesser breakouts than mine. She always had something to say.
~
May 10 2022 , 21:21 pm
I looked at the mirror now and had a long look at myself.
There were a few bumps, above my eyebrows. A series of acne formed, as a result of threading my eyebrows. It was a while since I got acne on my skin. I stared at it. Touched it.
It was too different to see me this way. I didn’t flinch or cry. I even thought I looked prettier.
“Hamsi, you look so pretty either way”, Andrew’s voice echoed from the time I asked him if my breakout was noticeable.
“You are glowing now bitch shut the fuck up”, Meg piped in, when she scrolled through my Instagram last Christmas.
“I’ve seen you from childhood, and this is the best you’ve looked”, Nu synchronized with all of them. We had a long conversation about how we've grown together, even when we were physically apart.
I put the mirror away. Never looked at it again.
~
Oftentimes, we do believe we need validation. We need people to tell us we’ve glowed up. We’ve taken good care of ourselves. Moreover, we seek to attain perfection in all matters. If I could run and hug 14-year-old Hamsi, and tell her she looked pretty either way. I would do so, in a heartbeat.
I didn’t have a good support system growing up. Little did I know, they were seeking perfection too. What changed now?
I get plenty of love and support now. That wasn’t the entire solution. Normalizing acne and spreading awareness to bring light onto sensitive matters especially when it comes matters of the skin and body has made me look at myself differently. It made me show compassion towards myself.
So, get the haircut you wanted to do. Wear that top, that you think is too “revealing”. Do that treatment to take care of your skin and hair. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful and loved. These are tools to increase your compassion to help you feel beautiful. People can feel beautiful without it too.
I was told that it was not natural to do something “extra”. Well, it isn’t.
But so is pointing out people’s flaws to their faces.
Beauty is a social construct. In plain vanilla words, it is how you carry yourself.
