WHEN THE THIRD WHEEL STRIKES BACK

HILARIOUS. genuinely so good, pretty underrated too (in that i havent seen anyone talking about this?) but it has a main character who isekais into a second male lead and decides to stay awayy from the leads — this fails miserably, obviously, and its comical. the misunderstandings, the unlucky run-ins… also the mc is a priest and theres a pretty interesting magic system and worldbuilding!! and as a final bonus the art is nice. genuinely so fun to read, highly recommend

A STEPMOTHER’S MARCHEN

favourite manhwa of all time tbh its the only one ive bought a physical copy of (so far, anyway.. hehe). has a romance sub plot but the characterisations, relationships, plot development etc is exquisite. the family relationship takes precedence here especially in the first few arcs, the characters are REALISTIC, the art is gorgeous…, i love it so so much highly rec if you havent read it already. i guess this doesnt fall as much into light-hearted, because there are quite a lot of heavy moments… but its nicely balanced out with the comedy n all so i’ll put it in anyway :]

SCHOOLMATE FRIEND

super cute! this one is a school romance and it doesnt have many chapters out but its simple and the two mains are adorable. its a nice fluffy read and the artstyle is also lovely.

you would assume the war god goes to war! but no. he picks up a little girl and then he’s like. ok mine now. and the rest of the manhwa is spent getting money out of people and living in the woods in his homemade mansion with his daughter and the mamy many sidekicks that they pick up along the way. lovely art, lots of funny moments, plenty of action -- this is a martial arts story -- n the side characters are great (especially the governor lol) .

there arent many chapters out for this one (24 i think?) but im so invested already. as it stands this is centred entirely around the isekai’d main character and her new family, there is a heavy dose of angst about identity issues but every chapter has a new misunderstanding and it has me rolling fr ,, oh also the mc’s new brothers are her stepsiblings but they shoot down that romance route really fast and their relationships are so entertaining if it keeps going the way it is this will definitely become a favourite. heres an out of context foot pic

AMAZING TRULY AMAZING the character arcs in this one are so !!! yummy !!! mc time travels n endeavours to correct her actions n save people and in the process makes sm friends and all the characters have depth and grow and theyre all so !!! lovable !!!! the friendships in this one are amazing even without the romance subplot (and also speaking of romance, its a slow burn mainly cus sigrid is as dense as a brick but its NOT frustrating because it actually makes sense for her character!! like im usually the first one to move on from a thick fl but honestly you cant help but cheer them on) its so so good, i love it

THE MEANING OF YOU

this one is an isekai romance with again some lovely character arcs :D the main character is pretty depressive but its also got plenty of light/funny moments to balance it out, and the plot centres around her learning to take care of herself and becoming more confident,, i love the characters a lot ! they care a lot. the romance does get a bit cheesy at times but it really is so wholesome with solid characterisation n its completed too so you have a nice 3am read.

HOW TO BE A DARK HERO’S DAUGHTER

urgh one of the best kid leads ever, plenty of plot and the art is gorgeous as well like its a winner all around okay. as it stands its on an indefinite hiatus (author had cancer and i assume is still recovering or just taking a break for a while) but season one is already completed and its an excellent family centred read with a few mysteries scattered here n there also did i mention the entire family is so yummy. im so gone for the butler fjddjdnndd

MY BROTHERS, THE PROTAGONISTS

simultaenously super funny and somewhat angsty. this is one of those dungeon manhwa but the caveat is each of the mc's brothers has a different trope going on (time travel, became demon king, isekai'd) while mc is a decent potion maker and has to deal with all their bullshit (affectionate). it handles family issues and balances it with comedy perfectly. the main character is really really likeable and you cant help but cheer her on. so far its almost entirely platonic but i spy a few male leads lol

Okay so first off, not replacing any characters, obviously. Im thinking the aides are their own seperate little group that just hang around one another. Not an actual gang like the shepard gang but more how the main characters run; just a group thats independent, but willing to stick up for one another. Ive decided that if i ever do something with this god forsaken AU its genuinely just gonna be mostly seperate from the main plot because none of the aides themselves would be socs and so the plot wouldnt even be relevant until the very end.(I have been thinking of making Lafayette a soc or something. Just for the fuck of it to test some limits to hamilton, laurens, and laf's friendship with the whole bob thing ehe!)

But for the sake of this AU, theyre all aged into their 20s except for Washington. Its just easier than having 60 year olds street fighting.

Right, so characters! I havent thought much on other aides BUT i have thought VERY heavily on Laurens and Hamilton, obviously. So, starting with Laurens. Hes literally the same. Hes just as impulsive as he is during his time period if not worse. Hes given more opportunities to fight and he takes every. single. one. I would say hes similar to Dally but really he isnt. He'll get in a fistfight every week or so but nothing serious enough he ends up in jail. His relationship with HL is kind if rocky, too. They moved from SC to fucking oklahoma and John is not too happy about the move, for one, and his father isnt happy that Laurens turned into a 'hood.' Mainly, he just wont sleep at his own house. He'll crash at Meade's place or maybe Hamilton's run down, abandoned little house if he has to. HL isnt abusive or anything he just doesnt like living with so many siblings while his father goes on and on about how hes a bad influence. Not helping that he has a new bruise or cut every time he vists but i digress, John is basically a 'watered down' dally.

Righttt, Hamilton! Yeah, born in NYC, mom died, got too expensive, so he moved to good ol Oklahoma without his dad. I may just say he works at DX with Soda and whatnot because while the aides arent needed for the plot, i want them to feel a lil somethin somethin when everything goes down in the book and having a relation to both Soda and Steve would at least make Hamilton feel a bit bad and maybe even convince him to fight in the rumble at the end. Laurens and him arent really officially dating either. Theyre technically exclusive, but they never really talked about it and kind of just say theyre there to keep each other in check. Neither of them really want to confront any of their emotions towards anything so they settle for hamilton lovingly scolding laurens every time he gets in a fight and sharing 'no homo' kisses. Yeah and he lives in this run down house that he doesnt pay for and he has to drop by Meade's place whenever cops come searching for anyone living in there because i need him to be a little bit pathetic.

The rest of the aides are primarily undecided, if im being honest. Meade's parents are still alive from what I know and the other aides either stay at their own house or crash at Meade's, but Laurens is usually taking up the couch on most nights as does Hamilton. Most of the other aides arent big fighters really, theyre just trying to make it through college/day to day jobs. Washington kind of watches over all of them, like an unofficial father to their lil gang. They just hang around him and he frequently scolds them all for misbehaving. Hes like darry but older i guess. (Hes like, in his late 40's in this AU.)

Oh, and kinloch is there because i said so! If anything, he gives me major soc vibes and i primarily think he is why Laurens has such a knack for starting fights with socs for no reason. They were some weird ass situationship and they had an unofficial breakup that Laurens is still extremely salty over. Francis totally went for his neck during the rumble btw and they hate each other and laurens still tries to start fights with him whenever he sees him.

Though, Lafayette is also pretty undecided. I want him to be a greaser but at the same time i think him being a soc would test the limits of him and laurens' friendship while also he and hamilton's friendship. Laurens because obviously, francis. Now lets talk about the rumble! I think only some of the aides would get involved, really. Hamilton would because he saw how johnny affected steve and soda, Laurens because he just wants to fight, and the two dragged along Tilghman and Harrison because theyre strong enough to do some genuine damage. The rest of them just dont want to be involved in all of that and think its easier to just not get hurt.(Meade tags along but stands off to the side just to make sure no one gets seriously injured. He has change ready for a pay phone in case he needs to call up washington.)

Now, what i think would be interesting is their reaction to Dally's death. Im saying Laurens wouldve heard his name, as would all of the greasers, really. So their entire gang would know his name, but im mainly thinking about Laurens for this one because id like to think that he kind of looked up to him in some fucked up way? Not really looked up to, but more so respected. I feel like with Ham telling him about how Soda and Steve reacted and how they act at the DX afterwards would really fuck with him too and id like to think hed drop by the curtis house or some shit to say that he thought dally was a cool guy or something.

Yeah, anyway this is all pretty rough in terms of what the fuck im yapping about i just spat out every word that came to mind.

You and Joshua had been friends for quite some time. You go way back, meeting one another in elementary school and staying friends since. Even if it had been months since the last time you guys talked, everything seemed like normal and it was never awkward. This time around Joshua had a lot to catch you up on. He managed to make a lot of friends at college and had so many weird stories from his adventures with them.

"And that's how we ended up playing red light green light in the hallway of the science building!" laughed Joshua via FaceTime.

"Wow Josh you really have the craziest friends!" you laughed.

"They're kinda insane, but they're good guys. I really want you to meet them at some point! I just know you guys would get along," he said hopefully.

You always loved meeting new people, you were extraverted at heart and genuinely felt happy around people, striking up conversations and listening was your thing.

"Yes! I would love to meet them! How many friends did you say there were?" you asked.

"Okay don't judge but there's twelve of them," laughed Joshua.

"That is a huge friend group oh my god! What are their names?" you asked.

"Well there's Seungcheol and Jeonghan first. They're my age and people say they're the dad and mom of the group. But if we play a game, don't be surprised if Jeonghan cheats," he said laughing remembering his friend's antics.

"Okay, beat Jeonghan at every game, noted," you said.

"Then there's Jun, he's kind of the loudest one and he loves cats. Wonwoo is similar to him. He likes cats but he's kind of quieter but he's super fun once he opens up. Soonyoung is also pretty chaotic, I think you two could have a lively conversation.," said Joshua

"Hey!" you laughed feeling judged but you knew his comment was in good humor.

"Out of everyone, I think Jihoon would be the hardest to open up. He's pretty reserved and introverted but we just drag him along. I know he secretly loves us and has fun," explained Joshua.

"Oooh Jihoon sounds interesting," you said as you thought about making it your goal to become his friend. You knew he probably just needed a little push to open up and have someone there to listen.

"Then we have Seokmin, he's super cheerful and always making us laugh. Mingyu is the 'famous' one as we put it. He's Instagram famous but his chaotic energy matches ours. Minghao is our fashion king, so try not to out dress him," said Joshua as he thought about his friends.

"Wow Josh, you've got so many friends" you remarked trying to remember how many names he has listed so far.

"There's still more! Seungkwan is super lively and he's hilarious. He kind of reminds me of you but you might be a little more dramatic!"

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" you exclaimed, feigning offense.

"You just answered your own question!" laughed Joshua before continuing, "We also have Vernon, he's probably my most chill friend and he can be pretty funny. And lastly, Chan is the youngest so we sometimes like to baby him but man does he have a mouth!"

That was all twelve of Joshua's friends listed out. To most people, the thought of meeting that many new people would be overwhelming. However, you saw this as a new opportunity to make new friends with various types of people. And given your history, most people always liked you as soon as you met them. You had a way of lighting up the room and befriending even the quietest and shyest of people. That's why Joshua has always considered you a great friend, and the prospect of you befriending his friend group had him excited.

Joshua had mentioned that he was planning on hanging out with his friends on campus during the weekend and since you had nothing better to do that was the perfect time to meet them. Thankfully, Joshua had offered you a ride to the college so you guys could go together.

The weekend came by pretty fast, maybe it was your anticipation that made time go by faster. Before you knew it, Joshua was pulling up in front of your house.

"Thanks for the ride, Josh!" you said as you got into the passenger seat.

"No problem Y/N! I'm so excited for you to meet all my friends! And don't worry, we'll do introductions first since there's a lot of them," he said as he started to drive toward the college.

You two were discussing the current song that was playing and before you knew it you guys had pulled into the parking lot. Joshua led the way to the giant dining hall with plenty of space to accommodate his large group of friends. As you walked in, you saw, rather heard, a large group of boys chatting along as they were scattered about across tables.

"Yo look! It's Josh!" yelled one of them before the rest welcomed their friend.

"Hey guys! I've brought with me my friend Y/N who I've been telling you about!" Joshua said as he gestured toward you.

"Hi guys! So you're the famous bunch Joshua keeps talking about!" you waved with a slight chuckle.

"What did he say about us?"

"Wait he thinks we're friends?"

"We're famous?!"

All of their sudden questions made you laugh. It was clear already why they were Joshua's friends.

"Okay, let's have you guys introduce yourselves before Y/N gets confused," responded Joshua, "Let's start left to right."

"Hi, I'm Jun!" waved Jun.

"Minghao, nice to meet you."

"Vernon," he said with a wave.

"Hey I'm Seungkwan!"

"Nice to meet you Y/N, I'm Seungcheol."

"I'm Jeonghan!"

"Hey I'm Seokmin!"

"Chan!"

"Hi I'm Soonyoung! Call me Soon!" iykyk

"Hey I'm Mingyu."

"I'm Wonwoo."

"Jihoon," he muttered, looking down.

"And I'm Joshua!" he joked as he watched you process all of those greetings.

"Nice to meet you all! It's gonna take me a minute to remember all of your names!" you laughed. Your mind however wandered to the quieter one. Jihoon. He looked pretty shy, hopefully he'd open up a little.

"Alright who's hungry? Let's get us some food!" said Seungcheol as everyone got up.

The dining room was pretty neat and had a lot of options. From common Korean food to western food, it was a food paradise. Joshua had caught up with Jeonghan and Seungcheol leaving you to wander with some of the other boys. He knew that you'd be okay, your extraverted nature allowing you to easily accommodate yourself amongst his friends. Granted, you did feel a little awkward until Soonyoung gestured for you to come with him and Jihoon.

"Y/N! Do you like (favorite food)?" asked Soonyoung.

"Yes! It's my fave!" you replied enthusiastically.

"Great! Cause Jihoon and I were craving some! Right bro?" Soonyoung nudged the quiet boy.

"Yup," he nodded, not wanting the attention on him.

"Hey, I see you've got great taste when it comes to food!" you laughed at your own joke, which made Soonyoung burst into laughter. You were able to see the corner of Jihoon's mouth tilt slightly upward at your antics. Your plan was coming together.

You weren't the only one who noticed Jihoon's little smile. Jun, Minghao, and Vernon found themselves observing your conversation. While they found your pun funny, the three of them felt their eyes widen at the sight of Jihoon smiling at your joke.

"That's the first time I've seen someone make Jihoon smile, especially a stranger," remarked Jun.

"Yeah, I'm kinda shocked to see Y/N talking to him of all people. I mean he kinda comes off as cold according to most people who don't know him well," added Vernon.

"Soonyoung probably dragged them in their conversation in the first place. Maybe this is a good thing guys, Jihoon could use some more friends besides us," explained Minghao.

"Dang, why didn't Joshua bring you around sooner?" asked Soonyoung as the three of you retrieved your bags of food.

"I'm not sure!" you answered right before you saw Jihoon's untied shoe. "JIHOON YOUR SHOE!"

"What?" said Jihoon as he began to feel himself trip. He braced himself to meet the floor until he felt a pair of hands on his shoulders. He opened his eyes to see your concerned face. Your exclamation of his name was loud enough to cause a scene resulting in Joshua and his friends' witnessing the scene.

You felt Jihoon's body stiffen as you gently removed your arms from him. It was pretty obvious that he was embarrassed by the situation but you were glad he was safe. Jihoon couldn't tell if you felt the spark of electricity he felt the moment you safely caught him.

"Are you okay?" you asked with concern.

"Yeah, you didn't need to save me," he mumbled, "but thank you."

"Come on Jihoon, she just saved your life! You owe her one!" exclaimed Soonyoung as he tried to lighten the mood.

Jihoon didn't say anything and instead opted to sit away from you and Soonyoung once you reached the table with the rest of the boys. While it did make you a little sad that Jihoon didn't want to sit with you, you made sure to empathize with him and assumed that he probably didn't want to bother you. Despite this, some of the boys weren't surprised by his standoffish behavior. Jihoon was known to be like that especially around new people. He did look annoyed. You wanted to say something, but of course with this many people present the conversation shifted. The guys wanted to know all about you.

"So Y/N, what are your interests?" asked Chan.

"Well I don't know if this counts as an interest but I always love to socialize! I feel so recharged and relaxed in the presence of others!" you explained.

"About half of us here are pretty introverted, that's just so interesting to hear that perspective," remarked Jeonghan.

"That's the beauty of it. To me, every extrovert needs their introvert. Balance is key," you explained as you took another bite of your food.

Even though he was seated further away from you, Jihoon was intently listening to you. He really agreed with your philosophy about introverts and extraverts. Honestly, he wished he could find his respective extravert but he could never admit that out loud.

The conversation went on and shifted, it felt like you had been talking to the boys for hours. It wasn't until one of them pointed out that three hours had passed by!

"Oh wow it is getting late! Hey Y/N, wanna be added to our group chat? You'd fit right in!" asked Seungkwan as he pulled out his phone.

"Sure!" you said as you gave them your number. You looked up and glanced at Jihoon who looked kind of annoyed that you'd be joining their group chat. But you knew that he'd change his mind.

"Alright, Y/N and I have to get going since I've gotta drop them off, bye guys!" said Joshua.

"Bye guys! Wait can I give y'all a hug first?" you asked.

At this point it was easy to tell that they all really seemed to like you and vibed with you well. All of a sudden you felt yourself enveloped in a massive group hug giggling at your new friends. You noticed someone was missing though. Jihoon.

"Hey Jihoon, get in here!" you yelled as the other members opened their arms.

"Uh, no thank you," said Jihoon who sounded annoyed.

"Jihoon, you know you want to!" yelled Soongyoung while he wiggled his eyebrows, further annoying his friend.

As to not cause a commotion, Jihoon begrudgingly joined in the group hug. It warmed your heart to see him be included by everyone and Jihoon even felt a little special that you cared enough to notice he was missing initially. The hug broke apart as you said your final goodbyes before heading off with Joshua.

"I'm surprised you seemed to strike up several conversations with Jihoon," recalled Joshua as the two of you got into his car.

"Why is that?" you ask as you put on your seatbelt.

"Well, the guys and I kind of noticed that he's a really reserved and shy dude. We're just shocked that you even managed to make him smile!" he said as he pulled out of the parking space.

"I made him smile? It seemed like he was kinda annoyed with me," you chuckled nervously.

"Well, you are annoying!" joked Joshua earning him a playful smack on the shoulder from you. "But seriously, thank you for including him and opening up to him. We want him to have more friends that just aren't us."

"No need to thank me! He seems like an interesting guy. I just hope I didn't overwhelm him or anything" you said as you gazed through the window. Your mind wandered to him yet again hoping that he liked you after today.

Jihoon found himself walking with Soonyoung, Jun, Vernon, Minghao, and Seungkwan. They all lived in the same dorm building and were walking back together.

"So Jihoon... what did you think of Y/N?" asked Seungkwan.

"What do you mean? They were kinda loud" said Jihoon as he looked down.

"I mean, they did it to save you from tripping in front of the whole school," stated Soonyoung a matter of factly.

"I could've managed on my own," lied Jihoon.

"Sure, but you do think they're funny," said Jun with a laugh, "We all saw the way you smiled at their joke."

"Well you saw wrong," Jihoon deflected.

"Sure, whatever you say," smirked Vernon.

"Listen, I don't know what you guys are trying to insinuate but-" Jihoon was interrupted when his and the other boys' phones received a notification.

"Speak of the devil," said Minghao as the message was from you.

"Thank you all for such a great time! Let's hang out some more!" Seungkwan read your message aloud.

"We definitely should! Y/N has great vibes, right Jihoon?" Soonyoung said as he nudged his friend.

"Whatever."

Joshua dropped you off and left shortly after, allowing you to be in your thoughts. Should you text Jihoon and apologize for embarrassing him? Giving him some space was also an option but you felt bad at the possibility of making him feel uncomfortable. After going back and forth you found yourself pulling up Jihoon's contact from the group chat and began typing a message.

Hey Jihoon, it's Y/N! I had fun today! I also wanted to apologize for causing a scene earlier today. I didn't want to embarrass you or anything. I just didn't want you to fall lol!

Finding that message satisfying, you pressed send and hoped for the best.

Shortly after entering his dorm room, Jihoon noticed your message and felt his heart skip a beat. Just reading your name made his mind race with all sorts of questions. He stared at the message for a few minutes. He found himself loosening up, really appreciating your sincerity and concern for him despite only meeting once. If it were anyone else, he'd probably ignore the message until the next day. But something about your kindness drew him in.

It's okay, thanks for looking out for me

He felt that it was kinda dry, but sent the message nonetheless. He'd feel awkward if he said anything else. A few minutes later, he was met with your reply.

Always! And it was really nice meeting you today. You seem like a cool guy 😎 can't wait to hang out more with you and the guys!!

Man were you enthusiastic. Jihoon found himself smiling at the emoji and your candor through text. He thought about saying something to continue the conversation but felt that he'd make things awkward. Instead, he liked your message. He wasn't cold enough to let you be hanging.

Hello! May I please have some headcanons for Itward with a friend who acts very childish and is technically god but they are still a silly little guy pretty please?

Itward x silly lil fella!reader who is very powerful! (platonic!)

wasnt sure if you wanted this to be platonic or not, but given that you refer to reader as his friend imma go that route + the ideas i have brewing are more platonic appropriate, so! eheeheheh i love feeding the itward fans, with he got more screentime + generally more fanfic content around him because theres so much to explore with him!

honestly when i initially read this request when it was first sent in i already imagined it as "tired human dad raising powerful nonhuman kid to the best of his abilities" except itward is a skeleton whos been around for god knows how long, but same energy nonetheless... definitely tries to show you right from wrong and give you good morals... though you probably inherit some of itwards strange behaviors (general way of doing things, being kind of being zoned out because youre thinking about a ton of stuff, ectectect)

you two get together and build things sometimes! usually small little gadgets, nothing too too crazy.. though every now and then he asks if you want to help him with the flying machines maintenance!

tells you the stories of his travels and adventures, though if youre on the younger side he tries to soften the darker stuff so its not as... horrifying...

tries not to baby you, since well. youre not a baby... but definitely frets over you every now and then especially if you start exercising your otherworldly abilities

which gives me an idea, if you happen to be on the chaotic or mischievous side, he would gently scold you if you do anything too out of line... but i think more often than not hes impressed by your creativity and that youre exploring your powers! better to get a hold on them now rather than later, if you havent already! definitely light hearted about it

sometimes laughs it off, too, if youre doing something genuinely harmless and silly

i saw spiderverse yesterday and oh my god. (movie review/spoilers below)

First of all, trans gwen stacy, im literally going insane, gwen stacy is trans. Anyway it was the best spiderman movie I've ever seen, easily, best animated movie too. Across the spiderverse was so good I'm genuinely considering if it was the best movie I've ever seen. The cameos were so fucking awesome i was shaking my friend next to me and pointing at the scream like every two minutes, donald glover, spectacular spiderman, insomniac spiderman, scenes from andrew and tobey's movies. Gwen's back story and home life, her struggle with her dad and the way its so easily comparable to coming out to your parents, for both her and Miles. She told her dad she was spiderwoman and he couldnt accept that, their relationship from that point is incredibly difficult in which they cant really even look at each other, him getting upset because to him, she isnt his daughter anymore, eventually all of this ending in the heartbreaking talk at the end where they finally try to see each others points of views and get to say what they want and finally hugging as the world around them is painted in trans colors (little tangent here but oh my god the way gwens entire universe looks like paint or a painting is so fucking beautiful and the way it started running and she was yelling and crying at her dad, so fucking amazing)

And Miles hiding his identity from his parents, scared that they'll hate him or be mad at him lying about it for so long, and when he finally gets up the guts to tell his family (albeit the wrong family) the dialouge is so similar to trans people coming out. Him saying he has something to tell them and he doesnt want it to change the way they see him or anything and how he doesnt want them to be mad or love him any less. Me and my friend related way too much to that scene.

Miguel my husband and his backstory were heartbreaking too, not having a family, finding a universe where he does have one and trying to live there. Hobie Brown just being the coolest fucking guy ever from his accent to his genuinely accurate portrayal of punks and how they use it to be serious and have him realize the spider team aren't the good guys or play it up for jokes. THE INSANE FUCKING PLOT TWISTS OF, THE SPOT BEING THE GUY MILES HIT WITH A FUCKING BAGEL IN THE FIRST MOVIE, MILES BEING IN THE WRONG UNIVERSE WHEN HE GOES HOME BECAUSE HE WAS BIT BY THE SPIDER FROM THAT UNIVERSE AND SHOULDNT ACTUALLY EXIST AS SPIDERMAN, AND OTHER UNIVERSE HIM BEING THE FUCKING PROWLER. The entire theater was freaking out it was awesome. I dont think i even need to talk about the animation. The blend of different styles was awesome as usual, but they actually experimented more with this one and it paid off so well. The vulture in the beginning was so beautiful, me and my friend were freaking out every time he was on screen, and Hobie fucking brown. Hobie Brown was the most beautiful animation I've ever seen, the way he moved, the way he changed colors, they way he interacted with objects and people and the world around him, they experimented with him and it paid off so well and I hope in they next one they'll continue to do things like that. I literally never review movies but everything about this one was so awesome that i needed to talk about it

HMMMM maybe? I mean like I pretty much like all kotone ships since I'm biased and I like her althoughhh honestly some ships I just see more on platonic side but I salute anyone that ships her with a rare pair (provided its just not something entirely weird or borderline illegal lol)

Anyway, here's pretty much my ranking and thoughts for each ships lol:

1) Shinjiham - First of all, god Atlus doesnt FUCK AROUND with his SL route and it's so out of their fucking mind for Atlus to not let the girlies write for the romances in other persona ever again cuz WHAT THE FUCK???? They really fucking cook with his and Ryoji's SL its fucking sweet yet so tragic I just cant fucking take it anymoreeee 😭😭😭 and it fucking hurts me that even when you ended up not dating him, you can clearly see just how in love he is with Kotone like fuck man it hurtss

I am just such a sucker for the broody bf x cheery gf trope but they had me in my tits when they laced it with angst it had me bawling by the end of it. I really appreciate how in femc's route we finally get to see his true character like god before P3R we really only know him as that mean looking guy with a tragic broody past and he tries to make things right before its too late but we dont also see him trying to be better other than tiny mentions of it so when he is gone we dont feel bad other but P3P hooo boyyy shits fucked me up I miss him I miss my wife and even when I get to save him, even when he finally gains the reason to survive and have meaning to live, when the person that gives him that reasoning is gone, it fucking hits me like a truck man and that truck decides to reverse and run me over again. Absolutely spectacular shipping 11/10 dont fucking do that ever again Atlus I have inherited hypertension from my dad

2) Akiham - This is actually my initial otp before I blasted and fried my brain with foolmoon content. I was actually surprised to see this side of Aki where instead of him looking like he gets thing under control and cool all the time, he is just so clueless socially and every rank of him had me go "Holy shit he's autistic he's just like me frrrrr" like I didnt expect him to have awful social cues like me hskskssksk I also love how really cute the entire rank is like this boy is 18 and never dated anyone yet he is so sweet and thoughtful I almost forgot he probably learned this from the seventeen magazine in his room lmfaoo I love them they're the most tamed yet cute pair but also bittersweet and sad thinking that he lost everyone that he loves even after he proclaimed he will protect her ugh im in painnn

3) Theoham - I love how silly the entire route is! Its fun and relaxed and oh god what is up with everyone with white hair has autism in this game??? His lines are fucking bonkers it had me in tears and I cant even believe this man also manage to make me feel things about exposing one's hand after seeing it gloved for so long. Again Atlus please let the girlies cook again for the new persona i am begging you

4) Hamugis - idk if it was Atlus intention or not to make her pan but god I love this so much! Her entire route is her adjusting to being human and gaining human emotion gradually and I just really think its so beautiful when she said she doesnt even care if Kotone's a girl or a man she will still love her (Im sure she really meant it to be platonic and she pretty much mixed romantic and platonic but also that confession at the roof doesnt help at all I genuinely think she's in love with femc) and towards the end when she cried I can hear how human she is briefly like oh god I cant believe Atlus invented yuri

5) Yukaham - they're besties and she mentioned she wants a bf before okay whatever BUT I just refuse to believe she's into men honestly and she probably just wants a bf because thats what she believes girls should be (like obsessing over boys and such) and shes a girly girl so she should like boys, right?

Im not forcing anyone my HC at all so just ignore this if you want. Im writing this because the worm in my brain tells me to do it and i am also projecting myself here but like I just like the idea of Yukari feels conflicted about her sexuality because she's a girly girl and her liking girls doesnt fit the status as a girly girl but when she meets Kotone and she is feminine and likes girls stuff too but also a tomboy and doesnt really care much about the identity of being a girly girl and finds herself enamored towards her, she admits to her one day that she's having conflicted feelings about her and the other girls she finds oddly attracted to and Kotone's probably like "You should try to kiss me and see if you feel anything about it" and AKXHEIQPAUSQPAJQL oh god the thought of Yukari not knowing she's a lesbian and struggling to accept her identity as a lesbian is just so AAAAAAA i need more Yukaham content maybe I should draw them together

6) Mitsuham - I totally understand people's vision with Mitsuham. Actually at this point, you guys can see how Kotone brings impact to everyone in the team and towards the end of the game, everyone either finds a meaning to live or finally able to open up to each other but anyway shhh lets ignore the overall grim lore of this game and just focus on Mitsuru as a person instead. I really love the idea that Kotone introduce a lot of new things to Mitsuru since despite how rich and influential she can be, due to the responsibility and burden she has to hold at a very young age, she didnt get to experience what life is as a normal teenage girl so I just love the thought of Kotone teaches her what it feels to be a normal teenage girl like and gives her a glimpse of what it feels if she wasn't a Kirijo in the first place. Again, just a HC but like I think it would be so fun of Kotone and Mitsuru just sneaks out at night after she convinces her to forget her responsibility for a moment and loiters around town until it's the dark hour and Mitsu just freaks out because she was too distracted by having fun and being distracted by her duty and she was like I cant afford being normal, not in this world and not when she bears the name of Kirijo and oh god did I accidentally turn this into angst???? ANYWAYS yes I understand Mitsuham

7) Ryoham - Okay I have to admit, as much as bittersweet and tragic their whole relationship is (like the fuck as going on in Atlus' HQ when they wrote "Please touch me. Make sure I exist." Like ????) I'm just not into Ryoji much because of a personal reason but also like I love it when people draw them in an alternate universe where they meet again like I really believe in another life, they really do would fall for each other again ;w;

8) Juntone - Honestly I just see them as platonic but I saw this one Juntone shipper on twt before and I cant stop thinking of them whenever I have to think of this pair. Like okay shh imagine if Kotone isnt dead in the end but both of them still lost Chidori and Shinji, I know they both understands the pain but like if lets say they find confort in each other and down the line they do fall in love, I just think its really beautiful. Maybe not immediately but when years later theyre reunited and open up about their grief and still having a hard time to move on, I know they would clung on to each other just to feel absolutely alright because nobody can understand the circumstances they fall into.

Anyway, that's pretty much my ranking. I really do love and understand why people would love her with other pairing like I am all game but the ones I am pretty much very obsessed with is Shinjiham and Akiham while the others are more of an afterthought to me.

#actually tbhthe other reason I like Shinjiham is because Kazuya Nakai voiced Shinji and I am actually and honestly in love with Roronoa Zoro #and I have no shame to admit I just play Shinji japanese dub video before bedtime just to put myself to sleep #but anyway thank you for this ask its so fun to write my thoughts about each kotone pairings #like at the end of the day idc what her pairing is #i just want my girl to be loved and be happy #asukaspeaker #anon #ask

Ok so my dad forgets things, doesn’t ever listen to instructions when told multiple times, gets lost because he doesnt know how to use the gps, never has his phone anyway, is confused about general things, like what coconut cake is for example. You explain things to him nicely 3 times. He listens to you none of those times. Or jokingly acts like you’re not right when you say “don’t feed the cat the whole can of cat food because they will throw it up.” And every day, he will continue to feed the cat a whole can and they will throw it up. It pisses you off, because, are you going fucking crazy or does he terminally not listen?????

We thought it may be a health condition because tbh. Its kind of baffling how not awake he is mentally. So he is being tested.

But look, at the risk of sounding awful (and im venting here) I just honestly think he doesnt fucking care enough about anything except himself or his interests. I think with the male figures he had in his life, he just doesnt know how to be normal. They never had to care about anything. He just now figured out that caring about family is a big deal, nothing else though.

If he wants to download porn. Buy himself speakers. He can use the internet to do that. If you tell him to look up something, anything, other than what he wants to do on the internet, he cant do it. He cant look at google to find a gym. He cant use the internet to shop for a gift for my mom. But he can damn sure find porn on a website or porn to order, and speakers from a seller on ebay. “I dont know how to do that,” referring to shopping on amazon. But you know how to browse for a specific speaker on ebay. You know how to order decorations for your music room on amazon. Not how to do anything else though.

If he wants a pot pie from the grocery store, he will get it no problem. If you ask him to go to the store and pick up rice a roni for dinner, while he picks up his yogurt and lemonade, he will come back with yogurt, lemonade, and no rice a roni.

Him: “I couldnt find the rice a roni.”

Me: “You couldnt find rice a roni? In the rice aisle? That is labeled with a sign above the aisle that says rice on it?”

Him: “I circled the whole store.”

Me: “And you could not find the rice a roni in the rice aisle?”

Him: (Jokingly) “no because my daughter didnt help me. Let’s go back to the store together.”

Me: “I’m not doing that. I’m still working. We just wont have rice a roni.”

Like I’m not sorry, but what the ever loving fuck????? If he wants to do something, its fucking done. Anything outside of that? God help anybody that cared about it.

I dont think its as malicious as weaponized incompetence? But its either that, hes genuinely stupid, or so apathetic to things that he can’t be awake for anything other than what hes interested in.

And I think thats fucking nuts. Because the lemonade he got, is not sold in many stores anymore. And it shifts location in stores because its not regularly stocked. It can be on an endcap, in some random display basket. In the corner of the store in the back somewhere. But he will fucking find it. Yet, he cant find some fucking rice a roni.

Gotta be a joke. Gotta be.
