Omg ssgsddhdhdgs so every day after work I stop at my aunts house to get the mail/basically house sit (long story why) and none of the neighbors recognize me and they keep telling my mom that this lady comes by every day and who is she?

#bpd #obviously i support informed + researched self dx but thats not what im talking ab #im talking ab in 2016 when it was The Thing to Have #and everyone had a bpd-character url #someone like that at the time told me they didnt think i have bpd bc i didnt act like others w bpd #but most people who were acting That type of way didnt have bpd they were just 16 #thats part of why its hard to diagnose before 21ish bc a lot of it has to do with emotional regulation #but then i got diagnosed and went to support groups and stuff and whatdoyaknow #its NOTHING like how it had been presented online #no one in my group even knew what a 'favorite person' was #bc i had opened up ab not having one and feeling the imposter syndrome ab it #and everyone was like 'the fuck are you talking about.'#idk. no point really i just occasionally remember that period of tumblr history #and one of these days ill make a post ab how adhd now is what bpd was in 2015 #but we dont have time for that today!!

I think the worst part ab getting back into old hyperfixations is - besides cringing at your past self - seeing all of the deactivated blogs or knowing things are missing

I was rewatching Jonny’s 1000th game ceremony to remember happier times and noticed his brother was wearing brown shoes at the event 😅 Guess it runs in the family!

So I see you also do completely normal things such as watching old videos to soothe your soul! I did not notice David’s brown shoes originally, but I am looking now, and they are VERY brown. I just know deep in my soul that if Jonny wasn’t wearing his skates he would also be in the ugliest pair of brown shoes imaginable.

Please, let me take you about 7.5 months from that video to Hossa’s jersey retirement. THESE ARE THE SHOES THAT HE DECIDED TO PUT ON HIS FEET.

Why Jonathan? Why?

I don’t hate ~all~ of his brown shoes, but there are other colors that exist. Heck. I love his dad sneakers and would love to see those more!

What can you do with the Toews’ though? Their love for dogs cancels out their love of brown shoes in my opinion! And I will keep supporting them brown shoes and all 😂
