How would you have fixed/ wrote tangled the series if you were the executive producer/ creator?

Hoooboiiii good question!! Haha because like, I’m actually kinda prepared to answer this, because I’ve thought about what I would’ve liked out of a Tangled sequel and, tsk I gotta tell you it’s very VERY different from the series XD

However even though the series isn’t my idea of a Tangled sequel, if I was at this moment granted a wish that would allow me to magically alter the series as a whole, retroactively, I wouldn’t remove anything that the series introduced, because I like a lot it. I like Varian, I like Lance, I like Adira, I like Bruce Campbell, I like all o’ dem fools. Oh and the bangin’ SONGS YELL HEAH! Good food ^^. I also think the Sundrop and Moonstone stuff, the Demanitus stuff, even the Zhan Tiri stuff all sound cool on paper. Queen for a Day was pretty unforgettable for me so I’m not itching to change that in any major way. I honestly wouldn’t want to change the whole series in any major ways. Just, y’know, fix what’s there. Improve the flaws. Develop the underused characters and backstories. Make Eugene’s story mean something and matter. Make Quirin’s note mean something and matter. Add more moms for crying out loud. Explore Rapunzel’s trauma and actually SHOW us her recovery iIn full detail.

Oh wait. Actually I WOULD make a dramatic change: Arianna is the focal parent NOT Frederic. That’s literally going hand-in-hand with “write Rapunzel’s recovery better.” She needs to see what a good mother looks like.

OH KRIFF ONE MORE THING XD yeah Cass being Gothel’s daughter is SOO OUT XD

Moonsandra can stay but she’s gotta have better motives and an actual set goal or smth Jesus

The Zhan Tiri disciples song a villain song. Heck, Zhan Tiri gets a villain song. OOOF could you imagine Zhan Tiri getting a song in the same vein as “In the Dark of the Night” from Anastasia??? That’d be so cool, oh jeez.

Also I’d have the broadway stars be casted a little more creatively, like, I love what they did with Eden Espinosa, Jeremy Jordan, and James Monroe Iglehart, but I wish they went even harder with it. Gavin Creel being casted as that disciple (I dont remember his name) is exactly what I mean. Get Andre De Shields as someone! How about Susan Egan? Ooooh please could we get Aaron Tveit in there somewhere? Sigh, in my dreams I guess.

Oh, and make sure they actually get to sing ^_^

One last major change would be to make Eugene’s mom live alongside Edmund. Literally I dont get the big issue media has with doing the “estranged parent” trope and restricting it to one parent (who is usually the father). Like what is it with Hollywood and writing BOTH parents? What’s wrong with a seasoned older husband and wife reuniting with their son, becoming key supporting characters in the story?

I like Edmund too much to get rid of him, so. Why not have two cakes?

Oh btw Eugene’s mom would be Susan Egan. No debate.

Also I’d have the score be directed a little differently. Have actual leitmotifs that aren’t using music from the songs (as much as I like when that happens). Give Rapunzel and Eugene a “love theme” that also gets used for any time any other character is growing as a person or going through changes, like some type of “dream” theme that represents that character having and pursuing a want or goal. Then when Cass or Varian become evil, you twist that “dream” leitmotif to sound sinister because their “new dream” is something dark and twisted. Then you take that and incorporate it into their themes to make villain themes. Could you imagine if Varian and Cass had leitmotifs used when they were good, then when they betray Rapunzel, those leitmotifs are musically altered to sound sinister???

ok so some of my favorite musicals right now are Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Spring Awakening and Hairspray. Some other things I listen to are Frank Ocean, Tyler, the Creator, and my all time favorite- Melanie Martinez. As far as a general genre that I listen to outside of Broadway, I would say either indie or pop!

a very big thing about me is that I lovelovelove Glee, and it’s been my top artist for multiple years in a row now (very proud/embarrassed about that) my favorite color is yellow!

if you don’t, it’s about a guy called christian who moves to paris and falls in love with a performer called satine who works at the moulin rouge.

the best songs to understand its vibe are el tango de roxanne and the sparkling diamond.

this is one of my all time favourites! it’s a pop rock musical and you seem to like rock musicals. it’s about a declining cheerleader team called the tigers. they’re very dysfunctional, but the captain, riley, hopes to make them bond at their yearly sleepover. but then two people are murdered and the team has to find who did it.

i think the best songs to get a vibe of it are don’t even and before the breakdown.

Match Review: Manchester United 0-1 Arsenal

Tumblr had a freak-out at my last attempt, so I lost all my work. This will be a short re-write.

The depressing thing is that this wasn't a bad result for us based on this season. Shows how shit we've been, and shows how our standards/expectations have slumped. Miserable isn't it.

We deserved defeat because we don't learn our lessons. Casemiro was way too deep on his own for no reason and forgot to play the offside trap, and then we let Havertz cutback for Trossard to tap in. LIKE EVERY GOAL THIS SEASON AGAINST US. JESUS WEPT.

The Positives: Amad. Kid looks real good. Really nice on the attack; composed, creative, offensive. More intelligence there than Garnacho.

Kobbie Mainoo. He's just a class act. Smooth and reliable midfield operator.

Sofian Amrabat also gets some praise. He wasn't amazing, but he was solid. We've not had a solid CDM this season. Ten Hag's system relies on that pivot and clean up role. Amrabat is not a passing master like a Frenkie De Jong, but he is a seasoned international with Morocco. I'm taking his 6 or 7/10s over Casemiro's nothings every time.

The Negatives: Aaron Wan Bissaka never wants to cross, so he's very easy to read.

Jonny Evans is old and slow. Smart, but outdone easily.

Casemiro is old and slow and not a CB.

Diogo Dalot sucks at LB. He is a RB.

Scott McTominay is a ghost of a midfielder and needs to play for a team that has a diamond 4 or a central 3 and 1 in front. He's a good lad, and a passionate player, but he needs to be moved on.

Alejandro Garnacho has been overplayed and is just making the same mistakes. He's great on the break and on turnovers of possession. That transition is primetime for him, but he's not skinning people like Peak Rashford. That's his next step of evolution, but you get that in training and by being a super sub. Not starting every week because we need you.

Same goes for Rasmus Hojlund. I love the kid, I really do, but he also needs a bit more game intelligence. He's great at receiving crosses, but we don't do them, so he needs to figure out how to make do with what he can get. This sucks, because he's strong and pacey and wants to run on beyond, but he might need to learn to loiter deep and burst forward as a surprise package; race away from their CB or CDM and cause confusion amongst the marking.

So yeah, 8th place, 3 behind shitty Chelsea, two games to go. Newcastle on Wednesday, Brighton on Sunday, and then the FA Cup Final vs City. Somehow I hope we magically find some form in the midst of this. Who knows, maybe the returns of Bruno, Marcus and Martinez mean we can bench Garnacho, Casemiro and McTominay and we might - just might - play some semblence of Ten Hag Ball. It'd be a magical ending to a horror show season.

Oh, and the heavy rain at the end was so bad it flooded the pitch just before full time and flooded half of a stand to the point of evacuation. LOL. Old Trafford is falling down. Fuck the Glazers.

Dans sa jeunesse, Paul ne vivait pas avec ses parents, mais dans un foyer, il a toujours eu l'habitude de vivre avec beaucoup de monde. Il avoue à Maggie qu'il était très timide dans le passé que cela soit avec ses amis ou bien ses petits-amis. Paul sort de nulle part en bousculant accidentellement le nouvellement chef d'Alexandria Rick, parti avec Daryl en mission d'approvisionnement peu après le nettoyage des rôdeurs suite à l'invasion de la zone de sûreté. Paul vole à Rick les clés d'un camion rempli de provisions et conduit loin. Rick et Daryl rattrapent Paul pendant que Paul change un pneu à plat. Rick essaie de le maîtriser, et après un court combat, y arrive. Rick le laisse sur la route avec ses pieds et mains attachées pendant que lui et Daryl s'éloignent avec le camion de provisions. Daryl réalise plus tard que Paul a réussi à se libérer et est sur le toit du camion et Rick freine violemment, le faisant chuter. Jesus se relève et commence à courir pendant que Daryl le pourchasse, et que Rick tue les zombies aux alentours. Pendant que Daryl et Paul se battent à l'intérieur du camion, ils relâchent accidentellement le frein du camion qui roule jusque dans un étang qui n'était pas loin, mettant Paul inconscient dans l'action. Rick et Daryl ramènent Paul à Alexandria, l'enfermant dans une cellule. Il parvient à s'en échapper et dit à Rick qu'il veut lui parler. Il informe alors le groupe qu'il fait partie d'un campement effectuant des échanges avec les autres camps de survivants et leur propose de les y emmener. Rick, Daryl, Abraham, Maggie, Michonne et Jésus partent donc vers La Colline. Après avoir fait les présentations, le chef, Gregory, discute avec Maggie, qui veut faire un marché entre les deux villes. Peu après, trois membres de « La Colline » reviennent d'une expédition et expliquent qu'un membre de leur équipe s'est fait prendre en otage par les Sauveurs, le groupe de Negan. Jesus leur révèle que les Sauveurs ordonnent aux membres de « La Colline » de leur donner la moitié de leurs vivres en échange de leurs vies sauves. Jesus devient par la suite un grand allié d'Alexandria surtout lorsque les deux communautés vont travailler main dans la main. Il est volontaire sur tout. Il est très doué pour le combat en plus d'être très débrouillard. Qu'on apprécie chez lui. Paul est un personnage rusé, capable de mettre en place certains subterfuges pour aider sa communauté comme le coup des pétards, faisant croire à Daryl et Rick qu'ils étaient attaqués lors de leur première rencontre. Paul peut parfois sembler arrogant, sûr de lui et il peut l'être possédant des capacités en combat plutôt remarquables. C'est une personne courageuse, se dévouant corps et âme pour aider les gens de la Colline. Paul est un homme juste et droit qui voue sa vie à aider ses proches.

Fantasia Announces First Wave of Titles for Its 28th Edition

The Fantasia International Film Festival will celebrate its upcoming 28th edition with an electrifying program of screenings, workshops, and launch events running from July 18 through August 4, 2024, returning yet again at the Concordia Hall and J.A. de Sève cinemas, with additional screens and events at Montreal’s Cinémathèque québécoise and Cinéma du Musée.

Poster art by Donald Caron The festival’s full lineup will be announced on July 3, but in the meantime, Fantasia has revealed a select first wave of premiere titles, along with a first look at its 2024 poster art. The festival’s 2024 poster art, created by Montreal visual artist Donald Caron, brings back two of the festival’s most beloved characters from earlier editions, returning by popular demand. The cinema-loving cat and pug, barreling into the future on a sidecar motorcycle, embody the excitement, playfulness, and absurdity that Fantasia has championed since its inception in 1996.
