Hello. One of people, who voted for bees. My reason? I don't know a thing about Star Wars.

It doesn't have anything to do with skin color of the man. I'm sure he's amazing and doesn't deserve the mistreatment he's getting. But I'm just not into Star Wars, so I can't tell which one is more mistreated.

I was a Bees (Real Life) voter. If I had thought about how much shit Finn got from the fandom literally just for being black I probably would have voted for him instead. That’s not on you and I don’t think you should be an arbiter that decides a match up is so unfair someone should just win.

Also bees, and insects in general, do get a lot of undeserved shit, thats why I voted for bees originally, but no, it’s obviously not worse than racism.

As a non-white person, I want to know what the hell those people are on lmfao. This is, at the end of the day, not a serious thing, and just because someone votes for the bees doesn't mean they don't acknowledge racism and its impact in our life, nor does it mean that they think racism isn't a serious issue or that it legitimately is not as bad as something bees go through. This is a joke poll, what are those people so pissy about? By that logic, everyone who voted for the bees is a raging racist, and that's ludicrous. If we were going into actual serious territory, we shouldn't be comparing suffering at all. But this is for fun. The characters aren't real and aren't going to be hurt by this. No one in their right mind is going to start acting like racism has stopped and is not as bad as racism or whatever. This is for fun. This isn't serious. Keep doing what you're doing and don't let them ruin it for you.

You keep on responding that you have no control over the tournament, but then say you made these decisions is the thing. Also most racists don't see themselves as racist. Not calling you one, but this is what people are talking about. You can't double down and repeat every racist go to comebacks and expect people to not draw parallels. i didnt control how the polls turned out that ended up with bees against finn. i chose to have bees in the tournament, yes, but i don’t think i should apologize for that. and i’m sorry people are upset but i do not think that i did something wrong. i did not say the racism he experienced was a joke, i did not say bees experience worse things than racism.
