Tf2 McDonalds Headcanons: Coffee edition...

So, somebody posted a template thingy and I replied to that post. Here's my full thing with my own template made lmao,,

So, my headcanons are like this:

Heavy:

I view Heavy as a pretty serious guy so I think he can go a little further up with Medic, yet not all the way still. He can once in a while "oke oke. Heavy could go for burger. Let's eat burger." And then chuckle. But he's very much born and raised with responsibility with his mom and sisters. He's responsible and nurturing. That is his nature behind that solid mountain of a man. (Read: official comics) This man starts ordering and he doesn't stop ordering /hj,, no but fr I think like, he, alone, orders for 3 people to eat for himself. The rest stares in horror and/or awe.

Medic:

Medic is peak "ve havf food at home. Quiet down nowv, QUIEEET."

Engie:

Engie should be middle between "we have food at home" and the chanting. I think he's the mom of the group a lot of the times (cooks and bakes for the team in my hc) but I think he would very much also like to bring the "kids" to mcdonalds sometimes because why not!! So mid right it is. Probably orders some burger and a coffee. Sometimes a water or sooometimes some soda.

Demoman:

Demoman is a drunk. Drunks love fat food. Him and Soldier are dumbasses and I view them as being quite child-like like this. Demo and Soldier are absolutely chanting for burgers. But also, I think Demo is just a sliiight bit more responsible (he's mama's boy!!) Demo orders a wholeass meal ok. Something with lots of meat and bacon and cheese. Drink? Bro drinks beer. He tries to order a beer. He does not get a beer. He shrugs and chugs the beer in his hand.

Soldier:

On that note, I see Soldier as a sliiight bit more possible to go HELL YEA BURGERS, drive the fking bus in via drive-through and go "FIVE CHEESEBURGERS AND A COKE. A REEAAL AMERICAN COKE... YEAHAH." And then eat all of the burgers for himself. He's not rude he's just oblivious lmao,, not many braincells scrambling around in there.

Pyro:

Scout and Pyro are absolutely screaming for mcDonk. Pyro wants happy meal. He fucking loves the toys. He collects them, even. Keeps him occupied in the car lmao... he always orders a milkshake. Maybe strawberry flavour.

Scout:

Scout orders a 20-box of chicken nuggets (like me!!) Or the big McShare-box with different stuff like chili cheese tops, nuggets and chicken clubs, (also like me. We both audhd as hell ok) and always a coke and/or a milkshake. (Sometimes he wants both!!)

Spy:

Spy doesn't give a fuck, he gets a coffee. He just needs a coffee to be able to withstand the drive home with the bunch of toddlers in the backseat. Only chance they get to order something is if Scout bounces in (after experience from first or second time) to go "AAAND AY UHHHHHH--". Spy scoffs in annoyance and tells him to sit down and shut up. Scout does neither. He wants chicken nuggets. But first few times, Spy really just sighs at the chanting, throws his finished cig out of the crack in the window, and exits the highway for mcdonalds. And then he just goes "one black coffee please." And they go "anything else?" And he just goes "Mercí, that'll be all." And start driving for the next window before they even tell him to (more to do so before anyone interrupts and protests).

Sniper:

Sniper is below middle on the left line - between . On occasion he's like "fk sake." And goes for a coffee and probably elbows Scout in his possessions before he can do what he does to Spy. And then after paying and driving off with his coffee, he just coldly goes "Like I said. We have food at home." Like Spy, he just needs a coffee to survive the drive home. And not get an impulse to drive straight off the road into the cliffside.

if you sprained your ankle because your foot fell asleep, he'd sigh tbh

it's happened so many times

and he told you how to prevent that

so many times

but he's obviously more than willing to help you; he's your crutch when you need him

if y'all are on the battlefield, he's more than likely to be by your side throughout the entire fight

even more than heavy

most of the time, he's just trying to refrain from your usage of the respawn machine with the amount of times you've tripped or tried to perform some kinda stunt

obviously he was more than willing to use uber on you

he was so damn curious on how'd you boost and what you'd do

and the thrill of it all?? drunk off of it

he loves you very much

supporter in all of your idiocy!!!

ENGINEER:

i'll be honest

finds it more entertaining than anything

although, he sometimes... worries?

he remembers the time where you tried to slap a sticker on the ceiling and ended up tripping on the ladder scout was (so poorly supporting) and ended up face first with the floor...

medic helped retrieve your lost tooth

engineer kept asking if you were okay that day LMAOOO

but yeah, the dude worries for you sometimes - you can't just go around doing stunts without some fear of hurting yourself!

kind of a helicopter mom of some sorts

but when he isn't worrying about you, and you're doing harmless shit, he finds it HUMOROUS ASF

like when you decided to sit on your foot for too long and tried to walk and just fell

he was laughing and slapping his knee

the old man he is

he DID try and help you up but you fell over again and I swear to god you put the man into cardiac arrest

tries his very best to warn you or help you prevent idiotic acts like these

but he definitely isn't overbearing

he's more of a watch from afar with a beer in hand while he gives you a thumbs up while you nearly drown in a pool with your floaties

he's that kinda guy

and I stand by it

one time you successfully tried to jump an electric fence (with demo, heavy, and scout as witnesses)

and hey!!! you did it!!! ........on the 7th time!

you and scout are besties I don't make the rules

you guys literally feast off each other's energies

but anyway

you went running towards your boyfriend, calling his name as you stumbled into his workroom.

"Hey, honey bee! What's going- ... on?"

he tried.

he tried so hard not to laugh.

but your frizzy hair and disheveled clothes was too much not to marvel

"What'd you do this time?" He laughed as he was quick to smooth over your crazed hair.

pyro is so silly and so crechur!!! honestly pyro is such a fun background character to play with. maybe they're causing trouble. maybe they're the straight man in a situation. maybe he's the kid who played the tree in the school play.

yeah! these are already such good ideas!! im gonna ramble which i don't do very much (im shy) but: I REALLY wish we had got that tf2 tv show to flesh out certain characters who are woefully underutilised by the game/comics (Engie gets the brunt of this tbh). There's so many funny ways to take Pyro specifically...are they the 'Lassie' of the team? ('What's that boy? Is Scout stuck in the mine...again? Why didn't you say so!') Do they even try to 'talk' to the others or are they the Ghost-at-the-Feast who lurks around doorways? Does nobody understand them? (Do the whole 'lengthy waffle' from Pyro and everyone else just going 'Yeah well...right, moving on.' Does ONE person understand them? (Fun character dynamic for whoever that is.) In addition I think it's hard not to bring some of how the character feels to play to the character. I think this is where Engie's caretaker-nature comes from in a lot of fanworks as well as the Medic’s general aura of radiating ire for his team. Pyro to me is defined by being a 'foil' to other players and a bother to play against. Oh what's that? An Engineer setting up a nice nest? Okay well I'll equip Dragon's Fury or the Homewrecker and be a sentry buster. Oh what's that a Soldier and Demo wrecking havoc? Well I can reflect your shit so now you don't get to have any fun. Annoying Scouts? Nevermind I've got the detonator so you're now permanently on fire and I can jump after you to chase you and get mini-crit punches on you. Sniper shutting down the whole team? Let me equip the one weapon in the game that can piss them off (Scorch Shot lol). Oh? Spy...in general? FOILED. I dunno maybe I'm describing 'countering' but it feels slightly different than when as a Heavy I mow down Pyros at mid-range lmao. It's probably where the whole 'Pyro is unfun to play against' thing comes from.

Not sure where I'm going with this but lots to think about (wistfully imagines the tv show.)

I'm not One Hundred Percent on whether or not I've posted about this before but I've DEFINITELY talked about it with friends lmao uhh I think it's stupid. What Medic tf2 goes through via the gay fandom is Nothing compared to the oversexualization of women characters in games by the games themselves, for one thing, and for another thing I just think it's a total nonissue. Sex and horniness and sexual fan content are good, actually! Idk it's just very funny that I've seen this take from a. aheh. popularish Medic tf2 artist (who has me blocked so I'm allowed to vague) who ALSO posts about how they want Medic tf2 to have some kind of Redemption Arc. Like at this point if you don't like his huge boobs and you don't like his actual personality of loving violence you do not like Medic tf2, you like an oc who looks like Medic tf2. I kinda love Medic being a sex symbol, actually, the Burly Beast is such obvious gay fanservice on the part of its creator and it's cool when gay things are in games

Hello! this is based on an OC, but may you write about Medic with a cloned child OC? I always thought of him as a mad scientist type, so I’m sure he would’ve figured out how to do that. He basically raises this clone as his own kid, and they’d be a late teen / young adult by the time the events of TF2 happen

Medic & Child, Cloned reader HC

A/n: This is one of my fav reqs of all time ngl Requests are open!!

Summary: You're Medic's cloned child, headcanons. Words: 636 Request: Yeah

I like to think you’re a clone based on him, or atleast a clone made in his image. One medic is enough to create chaos and things like that, just imagine another person who's almost a 1to1 of him, pure chaos.

Your first day being alive, he took you in his arms and was like “it’s alive!” just as Heavy and Spy walked in to ask him if he wanted to go grab a beer. They were absolutely terrified, Spy just cloaked out of there having the day Scout was born in the back of his mind.

That left only Medic, you and Heavy there. Heavy was shocked and Medic just held you up looking at him; “Isn’t she so cute!!” While you looked alarmingly similar to him with his grin on your face.

Others found out like ten minutes after that and soon everyone was just looking at you with no clue of what to do.

When Ms. Pauling found out she almost died on her spot. “There’s no way Medic is suited to even have a dog, let alone a child!”

Nobody gave af, she soon came around to like you too.

Medic is 100% your father figure (That’s rather obvious) but so was Heavy, they’re like your dads.

Sniper, Engie, Demo and Soldier are like your uncles (That doesn’t include Spy because he’s def a wine aunt, and so is Ms. Pauling). While Pyro and Scout act more like your siblings.

Medic showed you the ropes and soon you were as capable of doing batshit crazy things like him. He was so proud!!

Archimedes loves you, always resting on your shoulder doing simple things like staying with you and Medic during operations on other Mercs.

When you were a less capable child everyone basically coparented, of course Heavy and Medic were like your parents the most but everyone wanted to take care of you so they followed a schedule of who has to babysit you and when.

Once you grew up to actually be independent, mercenaries were terrified to realize how similar you are to Medic, you were the same person, with slightly different looks, you even wore the same glasses he did.

When the events of the TF2 mercs splitting happened (Referencing the comics rn if someone didn’t know) you went with Medic, the change impacted you way more than it did him, you really missed everyone, they were like your family.

Once he started to work with those blue guys you were cool with it, they underestimated you but you showed them that you’re just like your fellow dad, insane.

Medic showed you all the modifications he made and you showed the modifications you did before you both laughed it off like the silliest thing one can do.

When everyone got back together you were way older than you used to be, but fortunately you remembered everything.

When Medic told you about the fact that you were a clone you were very interested and didn’t care, like at all. I mean you’re basically him, so it was more interesting than scary or sad.

He helped you in acquiring 9 souls from some suckers just like he did! (Can’t believe all mercs gave him their souls lmao)

Sometimes you operate on the Mercs when he’s somewhere else, at first they were very unwilling but soon it showed that you were just like him in this profession (which isn’t the ideal tbh)

Everyone showed you something, so you were really multiclass, leaning heavily into being another medic (shocking, I know)

Overall a 10/10 father, sure he has some loose screws but isn’t that normal? You two are the most chaotic beings even the devil can’t contain.

The TF2 Mercs With A Pet Bunny!

———————————————————— Of course you can :) As a fellow rodent lover, and my heart breaks for you. I'm sorry for your loss. This is such a sweet ask. I'm gonna say that all the Mercs just found a little bunny one day and decided to keep it. (It's a domesticated bunny that got released into the wild!)

Demo already (in my mind, anyways) has a kitten, so when he found this random bunny sitting outside, he was, a little worried, to say the least. Never leaves the two alone together. Going into the kitchen to see Demo weilding a bunny or a kitten has become a common occurrence to the other mercs. But as time moved on, without Demo noticing, the kitten and bunny grew closer and eventually became friends! Demo only found out after being in such a haze one morning that he accidentally left the two together. This man has never run faster than when he realized. He slams open his door only to find them cuddling. Demo may have cried, but he'd never admit that.

Engie is such a spoiler. This bunny has the best of everything. I mean, he found the poor thing abandoned! He's just making sure it never feels abandoned again, and if that includes dotting on it for hours, then that's a sacrifice he's willing to make. Is always worried about when he takes the bunny into his workshop, scared that he'll hurt its ears, I can assure you he found a way to make it tiny noise canceling headphones so it's comfortable. One time, Engie left the workshop to grab something and came back to the bunny sprawled out on top of one of his machines because the surface was warm. He just pat it's head and went back to working with a smile on his face.

Heavy loves animals, but he always seems to scare them. So when he found a bunny, he figured that it would run away the second he got close to it. He still tried, though, never wanting to abandon an animal that needs help. Surprisingly, the bunny hopped right up to Heavy and nuzzled against his hand. He's very gentle with the bunny, always worried he's going to accidentally hurt it. Heavy bought a lot of toys for the bunny, looking into literally every game a bunny might like to play. Found out oddly enough that some bunnies like to play tug of war and decided to see if his bunny would play, and sure enough, it did. Heavy thinks it's so cute to watch the bunny pull a toy away whenever he holds it, and the almost successful look the bunny gets when it pulls the toy away.

Medic has his birds and has always been content with them. He's never really thought about having any other pets. But, when a bunny shows up at the base, he knows he can't just leave it outside. He scoops up the bunny and immediately starts talking its ears off, I can just vividly imagine the rabbit looking at an invisible camera with an "Oh brother 🙄" look. Medic puts it down in the lab and starts trying to get things together to set up a comfortable place for it to stay, not realizing he's terrifying the poor thing, labs are scary, especially when there's blood all over the floor. Archimedes, who was sitting in his opened cage waiting for Medic to come back, poked his head out and spots the scared little bunny and flies over and nestles himself next to the bunny, trying in his own way to reassure the bunny that, even as scary as the lab might get, Medic is a good owner, and that they bunny will be just fine here. Lots of pictures were taken when Medic came back and saw Archimedes and the bunny cuddling.

Scout is so bunny coded it's not even funny lmao. Found the bunny outside and just immediately fell in love with it. Instantly best friends. Just walks into the common area of the base and holds up the bunny,

"Look at this guy!" The other mercs question if Scout is really the best person to care for a pet, let alone a bunny. I mean, is it reasonable to assume that Scout thinks bunnies can be held by their ears and only eat carrots? NO! Sure, he watched and still watches a lot of cartoons, but he's also very well educated on different types of animal care. He always wanted a bunny as a kid. He even did extensive research, but having as many siblings as he did, space was limited, and so his dream never became a reality. Scout has the best setup for the bunny and spends as much time with it as possible. He will literally watch the said above cartoons with the bunny and comment on how unrealistic it is. Still named the bunny Buggs, though.

Sniper and his love of animals have never been able to mix due to many reasons. But, when he finds a bunny sitting outside his van, he just assumes this is the universe finally telling him he's ready for an animal to come into his life, and who is he to deny the universe? Scoops the bunny up and immediately finds a way to the nearest store to get it set up. After they got back, Sniper took the bunny into the back to set up it's cage and other things. He put the bunny on his bed and as the bunny looked around his van, it may have spotted a gun or two and had a mini breakdown, Sniper has to pick up the now shaking bunny and figure out how to explain to it that he isn't that kind of hunter, and only kills humans! (Like that's any better, lmao 😭) These two take naps together, by the way. It's not uncommon to find them both napping midday when nothing else is going on.

Spy tried to shoo it away at first, probably assuming it would be rabid or something, but then it flashed the most pathetic eyes you've ever seen, and Spy just melts inside. But just because the bunny melted his heart doesn't mean Spy will show that outwardly. Man literally sighs and groans when he picks up the bunny and brings it inside. He definitely calls it a vile beast in front of the other mercs but immediately apologizes when he gets to his room. One day Scout calls him on his bs, and says,

"Y'know Spy if you really don't like that 'vile beast' I'm sure I could take it for ya." Spy gives him a look that says, try that and again and I'll fucking cut you, and replies,

"Well, Scout. I would, but unfortunately, it seems to be bonded with me, and it would be unfair to the rabbit for me to separate us." Loves that bunny so much.

Soldier was so excited when he saw the little bunny sitting outside! He falls in love with it the moment he sees it. Scoops it up and brings it inside. Is immediately showing it off to the other mercs. Definitely got Engie to make a tiny helmet for the bunny. Once, he put the bunny under his helmet, and when it poked its little face, he sobbed. But, as we know, Soldier is loud. One time, he was yelling without realizing it, and the poor bunny was so scared. He felt so bad and immediately started trying to calm it down. The bunny eventually gets used to living with such a loud guy, they love each other!

Pyro. Is. Thrilled. They love animals. They have a staring contest with the bunny the first time they met. Honestly, it terrified the poor thing (a running trend with the mercs apparently 😭), but eventually, the bunny somehow figures out that the stare down is out of interest and love, and eventually accepts the fact that their new owner is just vaugly unsettling. They spend so much time together, Pyro loves (safely) showing the bunny all the fun things about fire! The bunny has no interest in this, of course, but just likes to spend time with Pyro. Pyro always celebrates they day they and the bunny met as a sort of mini birthday thing, and lights sparklers for both of them (Pyro holds them) these two adore each other :')

I don't think you're aware of how mentally ill I am about soldier, and when I see that you've posted something new about him MY GOD I'm feral.

(This is to say I think you're great and you feed my delusions about a 40-something year old man fantastically well)

TF2 Headcanon designs, part 1/4

part 2

I HAVE THEIR EYES !!! which i think mostly encapsulates them pretty well. i also have quite a few doodles

here's the most complete ref i've made of them

their eye color, skin tone, nose shape, and favorite colors!

i'll do the rest of my hcs in order. i usually try to stay close to what i see in canon visually, my hcs are more background and personality-driven. but there are some differences here and there!! starting with scout below the cut:

(ft. spy)

he and spy have a very similar face and nose shape, as i'm sure you'll notice in the third image. they also have a similar eye color, with scout's being a little paler. i've decided his full name is Jeremy Valentine, because of course it would be. he's fairly tan, not only because of his ethnicity but because he's out in the sun a lot. he's trans FtM and his parents are fully supportive of him with very little fuss coming from either side. though, spy was more keen to treat him the same, just with a different name.

next is soldier!

obviously, this is the merc i have the most examples of :3

starting right off the bat i draw his hair longer than it's kind of supposed to be. i know a lot of people say and think that soldier is very strict on his self-care, and while i do think that is true, i think it can coexist with his adhd and his inability to remember things a lot of the time. oh btw he's audhd lmao

he's mixed race latino/white, his mom being mexican and his dad being from all over europe. he had a sister that passed young. he doesn't remember his family, or his real name (legally his name is Thomas Anthony Mason. he's on file at Mann Co. as Jane Jamison Doe). he knew he was trans at a very early age, before his sister was born, and his father in particular was very elated to hear he would have a son to join the military. said father was unattentive and clumsy, and his mother was a little on the manic emotional side. his sister, named Betty-Ruth (but she would scowl at you if you called her anything other than Ruthie) was a very kind and patient little girl. the two used to get along great, before the incident that permanently changed soldier's life course. being he was kicked in the head by a war horse at an independence day reenactment. L bozo.

also he's deathly scared of clowns, so the team has him convinced they're not real. pyro likes to tease him about it

I've been admiring your art, while consistently struggling myself to keep Sora and Riku's faces consistent...whether that's bc of emotion or angle or how soft their features are, I'm not sure. You'd think that after 2 decades of looking at these characters I could draw them properly.

Can I ask what facial features you think makes them distinct?

*RUBS MY HANDS TOGETHER* This is the best question you could have asked me and I am frankly STOKED to answer it (even if it took me a hot minute). It's something I've personally made notes of and have thought about a lot, SO! You came to the right dude.

For starters, it helps that Sora and Riku were made to be complementary. Riku was specifically designed counterbalance to Sora (as stated by Nomura in the KH1 Ultimania Gallery comments) and is something they’ve continued to lean into over the years. So thankfully it’s really easy to single their features out when compared to each other, specifically.

To boot, I have a lot of fun trying to boil down designs into an easily recognizable visual language just in general. Developing visual shorthand for a character, boiling them down to their bare essentials, etc. How low can we go? It’s a fun exercise and great for strengthening silhouettes!

And from what I’ve found, to put it simply; Sora is Round. Riku is Angular. Where Sora is short, Riku is Long! Like this;

Simple, right? You can tell which is which? Just zhuzh it up a little and you’ve got the boys!

Perfect.

While these are very simple examples, reducing them down and still being able to readily tell who is who even as little circles is the point! It let’s you know what to focus on as you shift from little caricatures to more detailed drawings at any level. And you’ll see how much these simple little rules/identifiers carry all the way thru!

Let’s start with their faces; Round vs Angular.

Soft vs Sharp.

Sora’s cheeks are more prominent and rounded, sloping lower on the face and pinching in to a smaller round, pointed chin. It makes his head look more round and short! His Jaw is also softer, less defined, which is an easy way to make somebody look youthful. (this is a tip I learned from tf2 actually?? lmao) He’s got a bit of that baby face!

With Riku, his cheek bones peak higher up and cut in cleanly down to a more prominent chin. This leaves a lot of space for his jaw which can make his head seem taller. It also affords his features more space which can serve to make someone look “more mature”. His jawline is also sharper and more defined, cutting inward compared to sora’s outwards slope. He’s just a handsome guy!

But it doesn’t stop there!

When it comes to their noses, I really like to lean in to the little things.

With Sora, I like to accentuate the upturn (hence the accent lines) but his nose is shorter and more rounded with a prominent tip pointing up and out. Some might call this a pixie nose

Riku’s is broad and straight (haha) and one of my favorite features of his. It’s a strong shnoz, longer than Sora’s and with a flat bridge. A detail of which I’ve always really liked and make sure to include. Gives it that strong handsome look.

I’m sure you’re getting the idea, but every feature follows these rules! Short and Long! Round and Sharp!

The eyebrows are something I feel always go missed, so I wanted to bring them up specifically. Riku’s eyebrows are longer and have a high arch to them as they wrap around his brow. Sora’s are short and much thicker towards the bridge before quickly tapering out.

You can see this along with their eyeshape a lot more clearly on their models. (Sora’s eyebrows are my favorite i love em I think they’re just the cutest thing. Really adds to his expressions, especially his pouts.)

What’s fun is that these are all things I’ve observed in official material in one way or another (namely Nomura’s art, the 3d models tend to round things out more.) Once you know what to look for, it’s easy to spot their consistent features. I’ve grabbed some fun examples;

Sora: upturned nose, round cheeks pinched in to a pointed chin, rounded jaw

Riku: Harder jaw, prominent chin, straight nose

You can see here how the curve of riku’s jaw goes in towards the face as sora’s goes out.

Riku: The Nose even more clearly, chin pointing out, and though mostly covered, you can see that strong jaw.

Sora: the same as above, really, but it’s consistent. Who says you can’t draw characters facing slightly to the left for a living.

You’re starting to see a pattern I’m sure.

And here you can see the flat bridge on riku’s straight ass nose! A flat of which Sora doesn’t have by comparison. You can also see here the different points their cheeks turn in, Sora’s being notably lower than Riku’s.

Anyway, you get my point!

For a generalized ending statement; Riku is always drawn with harder, yet graceful masculine features. He’s both very handsome and beautiful, wow. Package deal. Sora has a more boyish cheekiness. He’s got a baby face he’ll probably never outgrow along with other “cute” features. His can be a harder balance to strike, he’s cute but he’s also a dashing young man, a little charmer!

Focus in on those details n just remember compared to each other; Round vs Angular Short vs Long Soft vs Sharp They’re complimentary opposites, both in concept AND design! I love it!

♡Scout and Pyro♡

• scouts love language is acts of service and pyro's is quality time.

• someone needs to put all three of you in a psych ward

• sometimes when you all go on a walk in the street Scout will accidentally cause trouble with someone and Pyro will join in and fight them and you either join in or get them out before the cops come.

• oh my god.

• they're pretty fun to be with. Scout is usually a flustered mess whenever Pyro or you show any affection towards him due to the fact he had to fight for affection from his mother as a child. Its new to him, especially by two of the people he adores.

• Pyro and Scout draw together, and whenever your down they will both make you doodles of stuff that makes you happy. They will make your room super comfortable while Pyro gets a bunch of snacks from the fridge, sitting together to get ready for movies!

• You guys have this thing where whenever one of yall are feeling down, Scout goes to buy an insanely terrible movie and the last person to laugh or groan at the movie wins. It really cheers you up.

They're not the best at comforting words, so they show comfort by actions.

They're both pretty clingy! An hour away from you Pyro is already whining while Scout is just trying to make due. But usually they'll still have a good time together, sometimes going on their own dates while your away.

If they go somewhere, they'll get you something from there as a "souvenir" and beg you to come there the next time they go so nobody gets left out.

• Scout loves peppering the both of you with kisses, he doesn't mind that Pyro has a mask usually he'll be silly and blow Pyro a kiss from the distance. It makes the both of you giggle, he's such a goof.

Pyro gives you both mask kisses...Well more like boops. Though if your far into your relationship, day by day he'll start opening up more about himself. He starts by not wearing gloves around you, to lifting his mask up slightly to give you both a proper kiss. (random but I headcannon my boy has a tooth gap :D)

It makes both of your hearts melt to know he trusts you enough to do this, and he's thankful for your patience.

The three of you look very chaotic to other people but alone together you are just real sweet to each other. They both get so calm around you that they don't feel the need to show off or cause chaos, yall just wanna hang out sometimes yk?

♡Engineer, Demoman, and Soldier♡

• Engie's love language is quality time, Demo's is words of affirmation, and Soldier's is acts of service AND quality time.

• Let me describe to you what they are like

Dell's the calm one, he's usually the one getting the three of you out of trouble but he himself loves a little fun sometimes.

Demo is the fun one, he always takes you all out on interesting landmarks and sometimes even dangerous activities that might kill you.

Soldier is the loud one, he will not shut the fuck up. He loves to hear yall talk about your day, loves to gossip about how work has been, but also loves to speak about his achievements and show all three of you off to random people he meets.

• "THIS IS ENGIE! HE HAS 11 PHDS AND HE IS A GENIUS! SMARTER THAN YOULL EVER BE."

"Aw geez Solly, ya don't have to say that..."

And then

"DEMOMAN! BEST FRIEND AND BOYFRIEND, I LOVE HIM. HES VERY SWEET! HE CAN SWOON ANYBODY!"

"Lad...yer makin me blush."

or even

"THIS IS Y/N! ARE YOU SHOCKED BY THEIR GORGEOUSNESS? I AM TOO. DONT GET TOO CLOSE, YOU MIGHT FALL FOR THEM."

"Pfft-Soldier..."

• in general yall r just adorable. They're all so sweet to each other and to you too, yall always eat together and they'll always be there for you if you wanna rant or vent about your day.

All of them are amazing listeners, and good at comforting...how?? How did you get so damn lucky? They'll cuddle up around you as one of them holds you, listening to you talk and ramble about how bad of a day its been.

Soldier will give you a motivational and surprisingly really helpful speech, Demoman will hype you up and tell you it's gonna be okay, and Engie likes to make you your favorite foods to make you feel better.

They're not as touch starved as others may think, but one day they don't see you they start to miss you a lot. Please don't leave them alone for too long, they can go mess around together but it doesn't feel the same with you left out.

♡Sniper and Spy♡

• snipers love language is physical touch and words of affirmation, Spy's is quality time and gift giving.

• you get so spoiled with affection by them

• sniper was always a secluded man, so was spy. But brought together they were amazing....and then your here? The whole relationship is so sweet.

• Sniper will hold your hand any chance he gets, Spy holding your other hand. You three like to go on quiet walks at noon, enjoying the weather and even going to a cafe on the way.

• Spy absolutely spoils the both of you with gifts, expect a gift from him atleast two times a week.

• you guys don't really go to loud areas since Sniper doesn't enjoy them, so your dates are usually real intimate.

I'm talking picnics under a tree as the sun is setting, watching the clouds as the three of you joke and talk about.

Or, romantic dates by the sea...enjoying the scenery and maybe even going for a swim.

You three are the most calm couple out of all of them I'd say.

Even though sniper and spy have many differences, they still are so cute together! they match like puzzle pieces and are great to be with.

• though...there are times those differences do get to them. Sometimes they'd have petty fights over...something. if this does happen, just talk to them both about it and give them some time, they'll just hug it out and it'll be fine then.

• if your ever upset, they will try their best to be there. Sniper will comfort you with the sweetest things you've ever heard, holding you tightly. While Spy gets a reservation at a private restaurant booked for the three of you that night, taking you out and making you forget about your troubles.

♡Heavy and Medic♡

• Heavy and Medic both are acts of service and quality time.

• aw :)

• okay this might be even sweeter than all of them

• the two of them are even more secluded than Sniper and Spy. Medic is usually always in his medbay working away, while Heavy is usually resting, cleaning Sasha, or doing light reading to pass the time.

They're not much talkers unless the topics really interest them, so that's why your here!

The three of you are like that old couple down your street who do the most corny shit ever, knitting for each other except its with medic and heavy and you lmao

• Heavy and Medic teach each other their language, and you get taught too! If you also happen to speak another language, expect them to wanna learn it.

Yall have duolingo sessions and it's the cutest shit ever.

"Okay now say, 'Apa kabar, nama saya' then you say your name."

"...Apa...Kahbar? Nahma saye-"

"Pfft-BAHAHAHHAAHA-"

you laugh your ass off as the two of them are desperately trying to spell what your saying. They end up laughing too! It's a fun thing you three do in as little dates.

(ps what I wrote is read as uh-pah- kuh-bar- nah-ma sa-yuh" it's indonesian!! fun fact otd)

• Heavy likes to write the both of you Russian literature, you both don't quite understand what they mean but after a couple months of studying with him you both melt due to how sweet they are.

• Medic loves to ramble about his experiments, he will never ever ask you to volunteer unless its something that he knows won't hurt either of you.

When Heavy misses the both of you, he will carry you both in his arms and hug yall tightly.

"Heavy has missed you both."

"Aw, I've missed you too babe."

"Ja, its been boring without jou!"

Yall are just really wholesome.

• if your ever upset, truthfully speaking they won't know how to comfort you in words. So they will show it by just being there for you.

Heavy will squeeze your hand while letting you cry into him, as Medic made you tea as it soothes the nerves. They will both just let you cry it all out, not knowing how to reply much.

But the next day, they will just make sure that day is amazing. They will both go out of their way to make sure nothing van ruin your mood for that day to make up for yesterday. Broke your favorite pencil? Heavy will get you a better one. You feel dizzy? Come over to medbay, Medic will prepare and make sure they never bother you again.

They're so sweet it gives you cavities, even though they don't know how to say it, they sure are good at showing you. (I love men sm♡)

the mercs dancing headcanons

🕺Group headcanons: they LOVE moshpits. come on. they get crazy on those. |🕺| Scout set up Just Dance one day and most of their initial reactions was negative because toxic masculinity, but they VERY quickly got into it and now it's a monthly contest. whoever wins holds the month's greatest dancer title (probably has a goofy ridiculous name that they take pride on having). |💃| they argue over music choice sometimes, but they can all agree on disco.

⚾Scout: this guy has a lot of energy. he dances at least once at every party/event with music. sometimes he dances to silence. he's the kinda goof to jam to random beats like the laundry or the microwave or someone's phone ringing. he dances pretty hip hop (my headcanons aren't very historically sensitive, but techhhnically hip hop is around the tf2 timeline) and knows a lot of different moves. he's very hype to watch. he has a big smile on his face while he dances but often makes chad faces and flexes because it gets to his head. if a hispanic song comes on he pretends to know how to salsa that shit up perfectly, but if you look past his annoying ego, he's not actually half bad at it. lots of footwork. dances to all music that has a beat fast enough to keep him engaged.

🦝Soldier: he? moves in a way that can be considered dancing?? LOL they aren't dance moves per se, but he does grin and "yayyy" and clap and bounce. he copies others' dance moves. he loves gimicky easy dances. he ALWAYS joins the others when they invent some gimicky dance move like "the grave digger": someone laying and two shoveling dirt on him. "car wash": one is a car and others are the spinning columns lol. likes "being told" what dance moves to do basically.

💣Demo: if sober, he mostly throws himself on the dancefloor if somebody else is already there. wait lol in what circumstance would Demo be sober at a party lol. if not he is more goofy and forward. the most creative with the gimmick dances. his dance moves aren't very precise he's mostly just moving with the flow, and having lots of fun. gets goofy a lot, jokes around a lot and makes everyone laugh. very fun guy to party with. he and Scout mostly make others feel more comfortable getting loose. usual drink in hand dancer. moves his pelvis a lot lol he has no shame with his crotch. folk music gets him HYPE. cheers and yells and rough houses. dances to a good 70% of the music. mostly dad music.

🩸Medic: omg he is just- so dorky in such an endearing way. my man moves like a quirky puppet. he dances both in feminine and masculine ways. your girlfriend can't do that /lh /j. it isn't extremely energetic. if particularly hype/drunk/celebratory tho, he VOGUES the house down boots, come on. drink in hand dancer. honestly he fantasizes about doing drag shows and one day that he has time he just might. omg he likes slow dancing! he dances to upbeat songs, or romantic songs with Heavy.

🐻Heavy: he dances more than you'd think. it's not the primary thing he does at a party but he does enjoy shaking it off a little. pretty chill dance moves, very much like a dad. there is a secret unwritten rule that Heavy must give foot to starting a Kazotsky Kick. if another merc wants to start it, they always look toward Heavy grinnning until he starts and they all follow. a Kazotsky Kick starting is always a hype event, same with a conga.

🎯Sniper: dances lankily. lmao. he NEVER danced when first meeting the group. EVER. he would anchor himself on the seat and no pushing or teasing from Scout move him. "i just don't. dance." took him a very long time to warm up, veeery slowly started moving more and more. it is rare to see, but when he does join he has a good time. doesn't last long either. he just prefers sitting and watching and chatting :) if he is under certain influences tho he has MUCH less shame and gets more creative. probably has a couple instances he danced in the forest or a campfire night in this way. he really likes the gimick dances he laughs a lot at them. dad rock and glam rock and funk. oh he exclusively dances to songs that match his energy very specifically. (autism)

Hellooo, so I was watching a bunch of kiss cam compilations and thought to myself "Yo how would the mercs react to a kiss cam type of situation?"

And that's exactly what this request is. The TF2 mercs reacting to a kiss cam with their s/o.

Now for people that don't touch grass very often (AHEMSNIPERANDMEDIC) this situation can vary, like maybe Sniper gets pressured by his parents (In a time where they're still alive I mean) or Medic deciding to just suck it up and please their s/o by taking them out and the whole kiss cam thing happens.

(I imagine Pyro being confused as to why the camera was pointed at them and just being happily surprised by a peck on their mask from their s/o because it's freaking adorable.)

And while I'm at it, I'd like to remind you to take plenty of breaks and take care of yourself. You deserve it.

(Also I talked to my best friend about this and they said we'd be the gay couple in the back stealing the show lmao)

He's been waiting for this moment his whole life!

When he spots the kiss cam on you two he turns toward you to make sure you're okay with it but you catch him in a kiss first

As per usual Scout, he can't help the blush on his face

No matter what happens the rest of the game he's smiling and blushing

Soldier

He was just waiting for the game to start back up so imagine his surprise when you suddenly turn his head towards you and kiss him

I mean he wasn't complaining about the free kiss but that was weird

Then he spots you two on the kiss cam

Ah yes it all clicks now

Demoman

He's one of the least shy about being on the kiss cam with you

You two both turn to kiss at the same moment

Demo is beaming happily for a long time after that

Pyro

They were confused why the camera was suddenly on them but then you peck their cheek

That didn't clear anything up but they're immediately estatic that they got a kiss from you

Don't worry about explaining it they're just happy they got a kiss

Heavy

He's the least shy about the kiss cam

He'll lean over and share a quick kiss with you because he knows it'll make you happy

And seeing your smile is worth it

Medic

He's been a little grumpy that you took him to this game

So when he spots the kiss cam on the two of you he's taking advantage of this moment

Expect the longest kiss ever

When you ask why he said you took him out in public so he gets a kiss

Sniper

He's a little uncomfortable being out and around so many people

So make it a quick kiss please he doesn't really like showing affection in public

But even that tiny kiss doesn't stop a blush from crawling up his face

Spy

Oh boy here we go

He's definitely going to milk having the camera on the two of you

If you two weren't in your seats he's going to dip and kiss you

If you two are he's going for the sweetest kiss ever
