Faye (OoT/MM) / any/all / 10? years old

A former hero that'd been turned into a monster upon getting lost in the Lost Woods. He's mistrusting of people, quiet and sneaky. If you aren't close with her, you'd think she's standoffish and unapproachable. Underneath that calloused exterior is a soft spoken child who wants to be loved. They just. Don't think anyone would love them enough to try.

(Credit to @scopophobia-polaris for the headcanon that the Lost Woods turns Link into a monster! We really enjoyed it, especially the plot potential that it could have. Check out their AU, it's an amazing read and gen one of the best things I've read in terms of LoZ AUs!

World Building facts under the cut!

Just kind of randomly, the marks on their face bleed! They pretend they don't know why they bleed, but they do.

In spite of the Kokiri having...quite rigid gender roles (the girls wear boots and a belt, the boys wear a hat) Faye has never felt like they slot into either of those roles. They instead make it their life goal to reject gender,,,,become Creechure

They have Paranoid Personality Disorder (PPD) and suffer from CPTSD (which. I guess isn't entirely unusual for any of the younger Links in this AU, but them especially).

In spite of their monstrification, she can only hear to the same ability as your average Hylian. He can see in the dark, though.
