I know we all love protective husk, but I love the idea of Husk being supportive of his boyfriend just fucking up some dudes. Like people walk in and see Angel and Husk together. They taunt Angel thinking Husk is gonna fight with them like some guard dog. Angel glances at Husk, Husk smiles and nods. He leans back and takes a sip of his drink. Angel stands up with six tommy guns. Angel quickly gains the reputation of a man not to fuck with. Husk gives Angel strength to stand up for himself and I think that's way more powerful of a concept.

I don't appreciate this insistence that transgender people have to be a good person to be valid. Transgender people are just as likely to be good-for-nothing pieces of shit as everyone else. The modern technology usage in A Glitch in Time was worked in pretty seamlessly tbh. and how “scully and her boy have a bond beyond you, beyond science” but that bond, that link, has been utilized to warn her of how to save mulder, someone he hasn’t known since being held the day he was born, since being given a name that isn’t his anymore, but that he sees in his dreams. and he signals the only person he can, with that shared pain.

Listennnn SNW Spock is so human and he embraces that part of himself so much and so openly, he let’s people refer to him as human and explores it constantly, and that is so different from TOS Spock who staunchly identifies as Vulcan and feels shame at any indication of emotion or humanity, which makes me think something is going to happen at some point in SNW where Spock’s humanity causes someone he loves irreparable harm and he decides to permanently destroy that part of him for good

Y’all. This show has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.3/10 on imbd. Most of the reviews that I’ve seen from larger news organizations tend to be on the more positive side, with a few criticisms of the pacing here and there. The tumblr blogs/Reddit posts/TikToks/whatever critiquing the show are not enough to bring it down… to think that the impact is signs enough to merit cancellation just feels like a very insular take to me
