#Who the hell does he think he is#Yeah let's just block the debating of a motion of no confidence in the Prime Minister#A motion of no confidence the Tories were fully expected to win by the way#As usual the man in number 10 thinks he's above the rules and conventions that everybody else respects#And his team have found a loophole as ever so that he doesn't have to bother#The fucking GALL of the man#Nothing to gain except the further erosion of the conventions and traditions of British democracy#Or at least whatever passes for it nowadays#Unless they were really THAT scared of their own MPs voting against them#Tory whips say the motion fell outside normal convention because the PM was singled out#When exactly has this government EVER cared about convention#They are the poster children for 'Oh but it's not TECHNICALLY against the rules so it's OK'#Utterly blase#Call me old-fashioned but as much as I would like Scottish independence I think that those in Westminster#who claim to want to STAY in Westminster#Should observe the traditions and parliamentary conventions of that place#ESPECIALLY if their name is the 'conservative' party and they like to go on and on about British democracy#I could understand if they thought the rules needed changing but no they're just massive hypocrites who think the rules don't apply to them#Frankly disappointed that Lindsay Hoyle isn't hammering on the door of Number 10 with a horsewhip right now#But I suppose that wouldn't be in accordance with parliamentary convention either WHICH EVERYBODY ELSE HAS TO RESPECT#Except Boris apparently who thinks he's some kind of president#Government has way too much control over the house and its timetable but I understand that's the rules#However even if it IS their prerogative to deny time for the debate#Doesn't change the fact that if the Tories were (as thought) so likely to win the motion of no confidence#why have they been too cowardly to allow it to be debated#Chickens didn't want to be exposed as siding with Boris to their constituents but also wanted to stay in power

It is such a good subversion of what role we think Kabru is to play in this story!#Now he's eager to befriend Laios - who is barely interested and currently trying to befriend Shuro - who is barely interested and...well.#The painful triangle of people trying to get to know the other person better and being rejected...Friendship triangle.#We have all had a friendship triangle situation before. Ok, but how did I only just realize that their fatal flaws are the reason Percy and Annabeth fall?
Like, we've got Annabeth, who's fatal flaws is pride, who has known her fatal flaw is pride since she was thirteen! And here she is riding high after beating the quest noone else has even survived!!! She found the Athena Parthenos!!! She beat a giant spider using only her wits!!! Of course she managed to cut all the spiderwebs first try, of course she doesn't need to double check that!!!!
And Percy. Percy "my fatal flaw is loyalty" Jackson. He doesn't even think. Of course he's not letting her go. Letting anyone go would be a betrayal, but this is Annabeth. Nothing else matters!!! No! Other! Choice! Matters! It doesn't matter that they'll probably die. It doesn't matter he might be more help above. It doesn't matter that he's been missing for a year and has not seen his mother once that entire time!!!!! It does not matter!!!! Because Annabeth is hanging off a cliff and he's the only thing keeping her from falling and letting her go would be a betrayal of the highest order and he cannot do that. So of course he falls with her. What other choice is there?

I’ve mentioned this elsewhere but it feels relevant again in light of the most recent episode. Something that’s really fascinating to me about Orym’s grief in comparison to the rest of the hells’ grief is that his is the youngest/most fresh and because of that tends to be the most volatile when it is triggered (aside from FCG, who was two and obviously The Most volatile when triggered.)
As in: prior to the attack on Zephrah, Orym was leading a normal, happy, casual life! with family who loved him and still do! Grief was something that was inflicted upon him via Ludinus’ machinations, whereas with characters like Imogen or Ashton, grief has been the background tapestry of their entire lives. And I think that shows in how the rest of them are largely able to, if not see past completely (Imogen/Laudna/Chetney) then at least temper/direct their vitriol or grief (Ashton/Fearne/Chetney again) to where it is most effective. (There is a glaring reason, for example, that Imogen scolded Orym for the way he reacted to Liliana and not Ashton. Because Ashton’s anger was directed in a way that was ultimately protective of Imogen—most effective—and Orym’s was founded solely in his personal grief.)
He wants Imogen to have her mom and he wants Lilliana to be salvageable for Imogen because he loves Imogen. But his love for the people in his present actively and consistently tend to conflict with the love he has for the people in his past. They are in a constant battle and Orym—he cannot fathom losing either of them.
(Or, to that point, recognize that allowing empathy to take root in him for the enemy isn't losing one of them.)
It is deeply poignant, then, that Orym’s grief is symbolized by both a sword and shield. It is something he wields as a blade when he feels his philosophy being threatened by certain conversational threads (as he believes it is one of the only things he has left of Will and Derrig, and is therefore desperately clinging onto with both bloody hands even if it makes him, occasionally, a hypocrite), but also something he can use in defense of the people he presently loves—if that provocative, blade-grief side of him does not push them—or himself—away first.

the entire season they've shown sylvie perpetually being okay to just walk away from the fray and getting no consequences whatsoever. which would be ok since she doesn't rlly care about them like loki does. but in the end she just moves on so fast after she watched loki isolate himself and go off JUST to fix her mistake.......
meanwhile mobius is there, frozen in that time, left behind by the person he's an "expert" on not only bc of his job but bc of their friendship, him quitting the job that was his entire life, because loki has left and his previous purpose didn't have loki anymore
it's just fucked up how everyone else got their happy endings (good for them) except for loki and mobius. they're apart, separated once again, looking miserable in their last shots. just like last season.

There's something weirdly...disingenuous in all the posts questioning why Orym might want to talk to Dorian specifically and not the others. Like, this post is really good and covers the non-romantic reasons why this makes sense, and I agree with it entirely! Also though, it's not like Liam hasn't pretty consistently made it clear that Orym has feelings for Dorian. You do not need to like this (I think it's abundantly clear that I think you can openly dislike a ship) but you do look kinda dumb if you're like "why would he want to specifically speak to someone he's known longer than anyone but Fearne, who's slightly removed from the current tragedy, and whom he has repeatedly messaged whenever he's feeling upset?"

ok so
the instructions were for Wally, not the whrp/qa/You. which is especially interesting, because I think we all assumed they were instructions from Wally - after all, he's the one telling the whrp that they have work to do, he's sending envelopes (assumedly), he's sort of the driving force behind the whole in-universe project. he calls the shots, in a way. he's the one with the phone.
so who the hell is giving Wally instructions?
is it related to the distorted "extra" voice under Wally's in some of his hidden record audios? is it related to Sally's "monster"? is there someone else in Home?
just... there's a whole 'nother layer underneath Wally that i think is really scary. there's something else there, i feel. i Fear. i wonder if Wally is aware of it, or if he isn't quite as aware as we all - including him - like to think. how aware can a puppet be if they can't see their own strings (so to speak)? it's one thing to know what you are, and another entirely to understand what that entails.

tddk hc that tdrk is the ultimate "i wanna show you off" bf. king of kissing izk in public places to tell everyone that izk is taken by him. possessive bastard. purposely lends izk his clothing and everyone can tell bc while izk is bigger width wise, tdrk has always been taller. convinces izk to leave hickeys in visible places just so he can come to class the next day, shirt half-unbuttoned, so that everyone can see. makes direct eye-contact with the business ed student who will Not stop asking izk out, as he kisses izk.
