ok yall... i might sound fucking insane but there's this ship me and my friend has been crazy over that is very much a crack ship but we love and want to share more of our insanity about them.
i'll give a brief concept but theres so much story we have of them plus timmy and jimmy. that my friend is working on a fic for which is epic. (ill try remembering linking it when its done)
So... Cool jimmy clone and Imaginary Gary.
we came up with names for all of the clones (cause we also hc that all of the clones are still alive, friend explains more here ). Cool jimmys name is Gator! they are both very much like stupid villain duo to timmy and jimmy when they are older, cause gary is still upset with timmy for abandoning him and a lot of other stuff. So they fuck around and just cause chaos on purpose cause they are so COOL. but then things get gay and gary struggles with his feelings a lot. they are lowkey like greaser dude bros thats gay for each other.
Not a good summary but i'll post them more DONT YOU WORRY, i WILL make nicktoon fans understand me /J/J/J

#sometimes i do feel like I'm an alien but this time it was cuase of a funny thing#Cause like. This week has been very very busy for me and I've had like no time to take a rest or have fun really#and today there was gonna be this big scary test or something. like. it was math-somethings#It's was at first thing in the morning and everyone was scared/worried#cool thing is that the teacher didn't put unrealistic expectations w us and let us make a ''cheat sheet'' which was just#putting all the formulas we learnt in that semester (just the formulas cause putting examples was a push too far)#Putting em all in a sheet so we could use it for reference if we didn't manage to remember how something went#Which was very very cool of him cause I struggle remembering all that stuff cause it's. it's a Fuck Ton and getting a single#thing wrong means the whole equation thingy is wrong etc etc#So I did my ref thingy and had so much fun assembling it cause I understood everything I was writing in there!#It was like a fun little thingy to do really nice 10/10#And then when the time to take the test came back I suddenly got very dam worried#But everything went very very well cause I literally knew everything that was on the test#And that made me go :D!!#And for once the classroom was dead quiet so no need to put any sort o noise blocks which helped a ton w concentration#And when I finished everything I was so damn confident in what I did and was like man! That was very very fun!#And then went to check how everyone else felt abt it and#fucking everyone was lamenting that they didn't get to do everything on time and the ol' fuck tests this sucks thing#n that made me feel like ???? Cause I though it was easy stuff#it apparently wasn't?#But I didn't want to press further n sound like a pretentious asshole so I left it like that#And then they were like woo! At least we finished the hard unpleasant thing and now it's time for the easy fun thing!#And I'm sitting there like what#Cause the next thing ha dto do w basically just walkin around while playing a specific role and looking proffesional n stuff#And that shit was harddddd#Like there's no way for me to ask what one's supposed to do w arms instead of just. trex hands#And they were tryna help but it all boiled down to#oh yknow. just walk normally :] or yknow. just put yr hand down normally :]]#And i was just there like ???. 03/03/24 Twitter Space Recap (2/2)
After the other Twitter Space which I already made a recap for, Martin, Eva ("Bon" and Bon's VA), Coral (Susan's VA), and Kyle (Boozoo & Charles' VA) reconvened for another space, this time with a Q&A focus, later in the day. This one was really long, and they talked about a lot, but I've summarized it here to the best of my ability:
-Someone asks "What would Jenny major in college? Because it's implied that she's in college." Martin answers (reiterating an answer he gave in a previous Space) that she studies psychology. Coral chimes in to say that they think Jenny would understand Sophie and her trauma a lot better for it, and Martin agrees, saying "Yeah, yeah, I think Jenny has a really good understanding of how Sophie thinks because of that."
-Someone asks "Hypothetically, which Tyler, The Creator album would be Sophie's favorite?". Martin answers that he thinks it would be Flower Boy.
-"When Jack and Rosemary argue, Jack sleeps on the couch and he goes to Molly, and he goes like 'Hey, could you go pick that up for me? I don't want to enter the room,' 'cause, like, whenever Rosemary is mad she's actually really scary. So Jack just doesn't- doesn't get involved. He just sleeps on the couch."
-Eva goes, "Martin, didn't we agree before that if Sophie and Brian ever met, Sophie would just kick his ass?". Martin answers, "Yeah, Sophie would hate Brian."
-"Okay, here's a Jophie fact, Jophie wasn't even supposed to be, like, an actual relationship, at first. Originally, it was gonna be, like, they would gradually start dating as the series went on. But then, we were like, Y'know what, it's way easier if they are already a couple... Imagine if you're going through the animatronic drama, and simultaneously it's just these two girls falling in love, in the middle of all that shit."
-"Will Richie appear again?" At this point the battery in Martin's phone has died, but nobody has noticed, so Eva steps in to answer, "Martin has had plans to bring Richie back for more stuff, but he hasn't really done anything with him yet, but I dunno." Kyle says he doesn't remember who Richie is, which is really funny to me.
-Someone asks if either Sophie or Jenny would like Weezer, and Coral says they think Jenny would like them unironically, but Sophie would like something like Buddy Holly ironically. Martin answers, "Y'know, I think Sophie- I've always thought that Sophie isn't the kinda person to like- like, experimental or artistic stuff too much, because she's like a very- a person that gets confused very easily. So, she would listen to stuff like Weezer and she would think internally, like, 'what the fuck is this?', but she'd go like "Oh, this is fire, Jenny, I love- I love it."'
-Kyle says he thinks it's important for Jenny to be a bit of a loser, in an endearing way. Eva slightly disagrees, saying Jenny would probably be the cool one between them, while Sophie is an absolute loser. Martin says, "I was trying to say, before we change the subject, the way I see it is that, to me, Sophie has a lot of like, street smarts, and Jenny is more like a very dorky person that probably just, like, lived a very normal and fulfilled life, y'know? She just, like, lived in the suburbs, with supporting people in her life. I think Sophie, yeah, she's kind of loser, but I think, in a way, in my opinion I think Sophie's a little braver than Jenny is. I've always seen them like that."
-Coral says, "I feel like Sophie wouldn't really know how to emote properly." and Martin says, emphatically, that she doesn't. Coral describes a scenario where Jenny is upset or scared by something, and is crying. and how Sophie would try her best to comfort her, but would really not know what to do, and would struggle immensely in a situation like that. Martin adds an anecdote, "Yeah, no, I-I told this to Eva one time, Sophie doesn't cry. Jenny has never- has never seen Sophie cry, ever."
-Eva says, "I think, like, um- [Sophie's], like, lack of really, like, full awareness of what's going on for episode 3- like, seeming really 'dead', the whole time, is like- while it could be seen as like, bad writing, it- I think it also can be taken as a part of her character. And that's also, like, further emphasized in future episodes, and here emotions are just, like really--" and Coral interrupts, saying, "No offense to Martin, but I feel like it's a mix of both."
Martin says, ""Yeah, it's a mix of both. It- the intention of making her seem like someone who wasn't really 'in there', at the time, someone who wasn't really like, aware of what's going on, is just like, barely even phased by it, was there, but it was just mostly bad writing. The way I see it is that, back then I didn't trust the series as much as I trust it now, so I was always making sure that people would understand stuff the way that I intended it to, and that resulted in Sophie just saying everything out loud. Like, 'this is very weird!'"
-Eva talks for a bit about how she gets frustrated when Crystal, Sophie's VA, gets criticism over her performance, when the problem really laid with Martin's writing. She says that one of her favorite aspects of Crystal's performance as Sophie is that she sounds very childlike, not in the way of her actually being a child, but in seeming very much like someone who never really grew out of being a child.
On this topic, Martin says, "Or- to me, more like Sophie being someone who never grew out of being a child- is someone who was forced to grow up very quickly. So, so she doesn't know how to be- she didn't get to know how to be a child, but she didn't get to know how to be an adult, either. So she's, like, stuck and is constantly- she doesn't really know what to do most of the time, because- she doesn't really understand what she's supposed to do and how she's supposed to do things."
-Eva says, "Sophie is like, probably one of the most interesting characters in the series to me, and I can't wait for her to come back, 'cause she's so interesting." and Martin responds, "Oh, yeah! I really- because I think if she comes back, she's gonna feel so different, with like, the new style of writing, and stuff. I think, um, something I really like about Sophie is that, uh, I really like how people think of Sophie like this fucking girl- oh, I mean, back in the day, I don't know how it is now, but back in the day people would think Sophie would be like, this very soft and shy person, but, no, in a way, Sophie's a very mean person! She's like, something I always thought about when it comes to her character is that she is- she has so many weak, like, social skills, that she usually gets very defensive with anybody."
-Eva talks about how Sophie is definitely a very walled-off and antisocial person, and how she tends to push people out of her life, aside from Jenny, and Martin says, "And, like, Sophie fucking hated Jenny at the beginning. [laughing] Like, she didn't hate her, but I remember telling you specifically how they met, and it took a while- not- not a while-while, but it took some time for Sophie to get used to Jenny, and actually start developing feelings for her." Coral compares the evolution of their relationship to the process of taming a feral cat.
-Eva says, "Someone said, 'What animal would Sophie be if she was an animal,' I think she'd be a deer." Martin says, "I think she'd be a WOLF! A WEREWOLF!" Kyle says he thinks if Sophie is a deer, Jenny should be a moose.
-Martin reads a question, "'Besides painting, what other art does Rose make?' Okay, this was an idea from back when Coker was part of the team, that, we wanted to make, like, a third Showstopper album, which was going to be songs composed by Rose. So, Rose was kind of like a songwriter."
-Eva says, "Someone asked for a Richie fact, and asked if he's friends with Chris." Martin hems and haws, going "Oh, I wanna talk about it, but I don't know if I should!", but then says, "Yeah, they're friends."
Kyle says he thinks they would hold hands, "In a platonic way, because it's cold outside." Martin jokes, saying, "I think they would hold hands... in a romantic way!"
-Martin reads a question, saying he thinks Kyle would enjoy answering it, "Is Felix Kranken religious? If so, what's his religion?", and Kyle says he has an idea that Felix isn't religious and never has been, but during his lowest moments in life, he prays. "He is an incredibly superstitious person, so when the going gets really bad, all he can think to do is drop to his knees, and just home that somebody's listening."
Martin says, "The Waltens actually- I mean, Sophie, Edd, and Molly aren't, but Jack and Rosemary are Christian." Eva jokes that she thinks Edd & Molly are Satanists.
-Coral asks what everything thinks is the worst thing Edd & Molly have done, and Martin says, "From the top of my head, like something I'm just making up, I really think something they would do, is they would buy all of Jack's socks, and change them for smaller ones so they don't fit his feet. So he has to go to work with, like, really tiny socks."
-Eva reads a question, "Where's Brian Stells hiding? Like, where's his spirit hiding." Martin and Eva both say that they think his ghost lingered around for a while, but that he probably just died. Like, nothing special happened to his ghost. Eva shares an idea she has, that Bon probably realized, at some point while killing Brian, that he wasn't Sophie, but continued to mutilate him out of anger that he wasn't her.
-Martin goes, "What do you think made him realize [that Brian wasn't Sophie]? I like to think that Bon looked at him, and was like, 'wait, Sophie's not fucking blonde, is she?', and he took like three seconds to remember."
-Eva reads, "Can we get a CyberTelly fact?" and Kyle answers, "CyberTelly used to be a car salesman before he joined Bon's Burgers."
-Eva goes, "Wait, Martin, didn't we agree at one point that Bon would have a ridiculous amount of exes? He's like Ramona Flowers?" and Martin laughs and agrees emphatically. He says, "So fucking funny- Bon has a fucking ex-wife that's literally just a female version of Bon. Like, Bon with a pink bowtie."
-Eva says, "Someone just asked, 'What's Richie's last name', can we just come up with the stupidest last name for him on the spot?". They spitball a bunch of really stupid answers, and land on "Richie Ratterson".
-Martin reads a question, "'Are we going to see Showbear's replacement in 5 & 6?' Yep!"
-They start talking about how Felix has a new voice actor, but at the time of the Space, they hadn't actually told him yet, that he had been picked to be Felix's new VA. They invite him to the stream and tell him live! He's very thankful and very surprised. You can find him on Twitter Here!
-Martin posted this (and deleted it after five seconds) to celebrate Felix's new voice actor. Isn't it nice don't you guys love it
After posting this he kept going "Toxic Yaoi!" in a very sing-song way.
-Coral complains that they never got kissing art when they became a VA for The Walten Files, so Martin drew this for them, and again deleted it after a couple seconds:
-Coral talks about a while about how, just before the Space, everyone speaking in the space (minus Connor, Felix's new VA) watched the finished portions of TWF6. They gush for a bit about just how good it was, and how nice it was to see everyone's hard work come together and how glad they are that everyone seems so proud of and happy with the episode.
-Martin answers a question, "Please, Martin, can you draw Felix and "Bon", I'll take it over Jelix, please don't draw that again," with, "Don't worry, don't worry, you're going to see Felix and "Bon", eventually."
-Martin talks for a bit about how he found out PepsiCo supports Israel, and how mad he is, because in Bon's Burgers there's a Pepsi ad on the wall, and it's in virtually every scene, and can't be removed. He apologizes preemptively, saying "I created that map before being made aware of that, so I'm sorry in advance for that."
-In the last minute of the space, Martin attempts a lightning round Q&A session, answering as many questions as he can as quickly as he can. Here are those answers:
-"Would Jenny listen to Ska? Okay, sure, why not."
-"Do Derek Collins and/or Frank Davis appear in 5 or 6? Yeah, Derek appears."
-"Would Sophie be an Undertale fan? No."
-My audio blipped out this part of the recording, so I can't transcribe it, but someone asked who would win in a fight, Jack or Susan. Martin initially answered Jack, but after thinking about it for another moment, decides Susan would probably win.
-"Is Susan and cat or dog person? Probably cat."

SHOW US THE PIRATE STUFF DO THE MERMAID STUFF ALKNASDAS
OKAY I FINALLY HAVE A LITTLE TIME ARRGAGRG I hope this aimless infodump is readable
so! Their designs and junk are a mess rn but I do have some stuff of them!!
Ignore the little dragon in the last I'm still working on Lloyd's whole... business. And! Don't mind the text in the pink one, I was just tryna think up silly nicknames!
Anyways! They aren't really... Traditional pirates? Y'know.. cause their crew size is like 5 + a child and ancient beast.
Under division is a small ramble
Cole's the "captain" and is a selkie (although I know they're usually seals I accidentally chose a sea lion)! He's the sea lion in the pictures and I'm desperately trying to work his skin into the design. I thought it'd be silly since he was raised in dance and entertainment.. and hey! Sea lions are known for that too!
(he wasn't meant to look so forsaken here, sorry Cole)
Jay is a mermaid (thing?) When in the water, he has the lower half reminiscent of an electric eel (I saw reminiscent as there are some major differences)! No one really has powers in this but he can still shock like that,, Ed and Edna are still human in this and I'm trying to remember if they still lived at a scrapyard or a shipyard.
Both Kai and Nya are only half mermaid! Nya ended up inheriting way more mermaid traits than her brother, who doesn't even have a tail in water, but still has a lot of human drawbacks. She can only breathe underwater for so long and ironically Kai can last down there longer. He just chooses not to since I thought it'd be funny to still let him be scared of water in this 😭 sorry Kai. He still has the recognizable sharper teeth and has bits and flashes of shimmery scales but is overall the most human of the bunch once you count out Cole's unskinned form.
I couldn't resist myself on Zane and ended up making him a siren. Mainly because.. bird! And also if he was going to be organic, I wanted to isolate him from the other sea related creatures. He has the wings and feathers of a gyrfalcon and can't swim as well in the ocean! He ends up bonding with Kai over this Kai originally hadn't liked him too much! Reasonably so since.. y'know.. sirens eat people. And mermaids in this.. although Zane eats human things as he was raised on it by a still very human Dr. Julien (who I guess is more of a bird-oriented wildlife scientist in this? ornithologist?). insert joke about him being a hand raised bird.
I don't have my sketchbook with me right now so I'm scrambling for pictures but ! Like all their designs, he's still a work in progress. Will most likely make his legs longer or something but this is just my ideas LOL
And anyways! Onto Lloyd! (And the others?)
I was struggling to decide what Lloyd should be,, like? A dragon could still very much work and his normal version is already so cool?? However, I ended up on leviathan.. a baby one. The serpentine aren't decided but Lloyd's still pretty much not taken seriously by the town. Still winds up being taken in by the "ninja!"
Garmadon is still locked up, although now at the bottom of the ocean! The Skulkin are drowned/dead pirates?
Wu is who I've been struggling to decide on as well! For whatever reason I've been contemplating making him like just some statue in the Destiny's Bounty that speaks to them.
There's plenty of other things going on,, Kai and Nya come to them on accident and Jay is over the moon to see other moons and wants to show them their "ways" despite having never even met others before. Cole is desperately trying to keep everyone in one place as they've accidentally made the perfect collection of the world's most valuable pelts.
Kai still raises Nya at the forge (which in this, is beachside), but years later there's a rise in pricing for the scales of mers and the boy decides that they need to leave in effort to protect her. Nya is devastated because this is their home! Where else would they even go?? They barely have any cash! Kai's decision is further inland AND with the money they get from selling the forge. Yadda, yadda, the buyer turns on them and they wind up in the ocean near their home! Kai's knocked cold, which is for the better as Nya swims them further and further into open ocean.
For the first time, Nya meets another mer as she tries to save her brother, and he helps them aboard a ship! The Destiny's Bounty! (Or perhaps a ship before it? It's all still up in air)
I'd expand more but I'm out of time </3 please give any suggestions if you'd like to! I'd always appreciate criticism

Wukong's attitude towards MK changed a bit, MK was dead for almost 2 years (yea, you read it right, the boy was gone for 2 YEARS) , things changed since then
Wukong still loves MK, of course he does, but now that the connection between them is literally broken and unrepairable, this causes somewhat awkward situations that Wukong can't control (like the times MK releases ice breath, it's one of the things Wukong still struggles to deal with) but he keeps trying to train him as his protégé
ANND as you know, LBD cancelled just some of the powers MK got from Sun wukong (or "changed them"), the powers that he still has are:
The 72 (he has 2 extras now)
The Clones (they are all changed now to literally skeletons)
But the powers he got from LBD are:
The ice knife (better known as the "Ice Dao")
A breath that causes an intimidating environment (ice breath)
The chance to create ice (just like LBD)
The possibility of seeing spirits (it doesn't always do it, it is very rare, it is like the replacement of the Golden Vision, but this ability is not at will)
AND, LAST BUT NO LEAST:
MK cannot possess people, but he can apply the method that LBD used with him in the second season (example:)
which is to make projections of himself in a spectral way (this is unconscious and only happens if he is very scared or stressed, his projections cause terror and pain to those who see them manifest)
This happened once with Macaque, he didn't take it very well

Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears Discourse(?)(maybe idk?)
So… at this point I’ve watched the entire 3 series and film. Twice. I was going to post episode reactions for series 2 and 3, but I really need to skip ahead to Crypt of Tears because I have… questions. If anyone knows the answer or potential answer to any of them, please weigh in because I am just… struggling to understand some of the narrative decisions they made here.
(Btw, overall I enjoyed it, so I don’t want it to seem like I’m coming from a solely negative perspective - obviously, the last 5 minutes in particular… talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, etc etc. I may do a separate ‘things I enjoyed’ post. I just needed to talk this out. lol)
****Full warning, this is a very long post, I am so sorry in advance.****
1. Alright, first things first - wtf do you mean it’s been a YEAR since she left Melbourne?! What was she doing that whole time? Like obviously, you could infer that she got caught up in local shenanigans and hadn’t seen everything to a satisfactory end yet, but I feel it would’ve taken maybe 1-2 minutes to just briefly explain that for the audience’s sake.
I also totally understand that they were attempting to make a stand alone project that could be independent of the series, so referencing where the series left off would be antithetical to that. HOWEVER, I think at the point where fans of the series invested $1 million… that should have maybe made tying up loose ends from the series a bit more of a priority?
I also saw that they hoped to garner new audiences from the film. And maybe it’s just me, idk, but - I’m a new audience and the only thing that brought me to the film was the knowledge that I had 3 seasons worth of backstory to immerse myself in beforehand. There are very few scenarios in my mind that would’ve had me watching just the film and nothing else. So… help.
2. Similar to question 1 - SIX WEEKS?! Where was she for six whole weeks? How did she escape the train? Was it like a Bear Grylls situation out in the desert for a while or did she have to barter with local villages or something? Just again… 1-2 lines of dialogue and I’d be good. Instead, I’m just sitting here confused like, “okay cool, I’m super glad you’re alive and stuff, but um… HOW?!”**
(**acutely aware that this is how Jack must feel all the time) (and he deserves a pint from the pub for his troubles ‘cause omg)
3. SPEAKING OF JACK - *r2d2 screech* This poor man. Jesus. How many times does he have to grieve the love of his life? It’s kinda rude at this point.
I’ve read articles with the writers where they talked about wanting Phryne to be strong and independent without emasculating Jack as a character. And I remember thinking, “Yes! They do such an excellent job of finding that balance in the show and it’s really satisfying. ^These scenes, though? Whaaaatttt happened? 🫠 I don’t think it emasculated him, but Phryne’s almost non-reaction to him being there… grieving her... it comes off kind of insensitive and perplexing at its bare bones, to me.
Upon a few rewatches of that scene, I’ve been able to slowly formulate potential justifications for her behavior - i.e. she did tell him to come after her and he didn’t, so maybe she lost hope on her end and dove into the first perilous mystery she could find to help herself get over him. Thus, when she finds out he’s there for her memorial service, I could see her inwardly going, “Okay wow, it took me dying for you to make any moves whatsoever. Cool. Good to know I’m only worth the trip if I’m not here anymore. (Hence, the ‘And I’m very sorry that I’m not dead!’ line later.)”
Which would be a fair point, imo, and they do have a track record of just… infuriating miscommunication, but ultimately… it’s all still hypothetical. We aren’t given any actual, spoken insight into her motivations or feelings in regards to Jack (the smallest glimpse we get is her teary eyes outside the door at his guesthouse along with the “damn it, Jack” line). So, without any further follow-up clarification in the film - at face value, that scene is harsh and almost callous imo. And, despite their many conflicts in the show, there was never once where I felt they weren’t at least making an effort to understand each other. Like there is never a point in the film where they take a moment to acknowledge the time lost between them. They don’t get to have that (necessary) release of emotion and mutual understanding (there’s no nightcap moment), so it just feels incomplete.
4. I promise not to make all of these redundant, but the quicksand scene. Obviously, I love it ~*for reasons*~, but I found myself once again choosing a side (Jack’s)???? Which, throughout the entirety of the tv series, I never chose a side between them ‘cause I could always understand both of their perspectives. In this scene and the reunion scene, I’m left confused both times about Phryne’s perspective. Maybe because Mac isn’t there to pull the full truth out of her just afterwards? That’s probably it.
But her lumping Jack in with “any other man” she doesn’t need to explain herself to - either that was a fear response or a flat out dishonest one. Girl quit playin’… we all know he’s not just any other man and we all know he has never tried to change you or take charge of you. Please, the bottom-leaning switch vibes that come off that man… he LIVES for you telling him what to do. He doesn’t want to control you, he just wANTS TO BE BESIDE YOU. GOD.
I so didn’t want to be frustrated with Phryne (I love her**) and I was honestly upset that I was, but there was just something… missing in both these instances for me (vulnerability maybe? idk) and I can’t quite get it to add up. It really probably was a lack of Mac, though.
(**again, Me 🤝 Jack, complicated feelings for a complex modern woman, we’ll both be at the bar if you need us)
5. Last one - “Is this your idea of sweet nothings?” “I thought they were out of the question?” “They are. Continue.”
Did I miss a scene where they laid ground rules for their partnership going forward in Shirin’s case? Or was that something that was cut/not included? Because… if there was a scene of them discussing that before Jack agreed to stay… that would have taken care of most of what I said above in and of itself.
(But no fr… did I miss a scene? Is my copy broken? Help?)

Scarecrow
Scarecrow, as you know, I headcanon as having DID and by extension CPTSD because lets be real their childhood was horrid
He struggles alot with dissocaitive amensia and would probably say that is the part of his mental health he finds the most 'disabling'
He's spent a lot of his life dissociating from any strong emotion be that positive or negative and can barely remember happy moments let alone sad one (e.g., he can't remember getting his doctorate etc.) followed closely by their frequent flashbacks which manifest as bodily feeling flashbacks rather then actual memories.
Thier autistic and very unashamed of it.
Suprisingly were diagnosed in childhood despite the general neglect they faced but this was not a positive thing for them (see their Granny tried to 'fix it')
He never really therefore had like an autism discovery like some later diagnosed people and his response to being autistic was just kind of "Okay then."
He is not very 'good' with social stuff and gets overstimmed extremely easily leading to alot of angry outbursts that others precieve as 'temper tantrums' but he's geniunely in agony from the sensory inputs around him and the response is actually porpotional to what he's experiencing. (Wild right? Autistic people's 'irrational' responses might actually be rational to their experiences /sarcasm)
They are all stimming all the time because otherwise they'll scream but the way they stim varies between the alters in their system and isn't always the safest stim (what I mean by this is some of their stims cause them bodily harm but I don't like calling those 'bad' because that's very shaming)
Alot of people around them assume they don't experience empathy and there's definitely times where they have low empathy but they also experience very intense empathy to people their close to, to animals, and objects they just can't communicate this externally
Thier empathy for objects is very strong and why they fix so many items they find (that art piece 'Can't Help Myself' by Sun Yuang and Peng Yu left them catatonic with an intense grief and empathy for like a week)
He gets very focused on things and overall struggles to take care of himself any meaningful way without support. Like he will forget to eat or clean himself till he gets very stick from it without prompting and support
He likely needs a carer to help but doesn't have one and has to rely on his few friends when their free to keep him alive which does not help with his feelings of guilt and he'll often push people away so their not 'burdened' by him and so they don't feel bad for leaving him to rot.
In reality, his friends do not find it a burden at all and actually enjoy his company when he lets them.
He helps them all much more then he realises but he's stubborn like an ox and won't here it (e.g., helping him gives Jervis a schedule and routine that helps him remember more grounded and Jons company makes him very happy)
He has alot of support needs that often go unmet but he is loved and not a failure for that
Not ND but disability related is they definitely have physical health issues too
Specifically Ehlers-Dahlos Syndrome (like me!) and Marfan Syndrome
They have alot of joint pain, dizziness, nausea, and fatigue that contributes them get overstimmed quicker
They self medicate for this alot becuase they cannot afford how expensive healthcare is in Gotham so are usually a little stoned but that does help get less overstimmed so win-win
He's great to have as a friend to because he always baby apsrin (incase his heart plays up), nausea meds, and weed on him.
Edward
Edward has been misdiagnosed and rediagnosed so many times at this point hes skeptical about what actually applies to him so tends to just say hes neurodivergent if asked
As a child he was just labelled as 'petulant know it all' and got told he 'could be great if he'd just apply himself' in school
He's been diagnosed with the following over the years: basically every cluster b personality disorder depending on the doctor, autism, ADHD, autism and adhd, dyspraxia, brief psychotic disorder, OCD etc.
He personally finds AuDHD and OCD to be the most accurate and isn't sure what name you can give to his mood swings but he is relucantly willing to acknowledge that his emotional response seems inappropriate to situations
His complusions can be very dangerous and have lead to him being quite injured though with age he's got better at redirecting himself to do less harm to himself or reducing how much he needs to do something
He's found additional coping strategies like wearing gloves all the time to reduce his contamination fears that have been super helpful too
He's very fidgety and struggles to sit still and is often heard mumbling and talking to himself as a form of stimming (which one of Scarecrow's system finds very soothing actually like a particularly clever hyperlexic white noise machine)
His coordination isn't the best which frustrates him when he's trying to build his puzzles and leads to him relucantly, so very relucantly, asking for assistance from Echo and Query or in what he sees as the worse case scenario Jervis Tetch if its something more technical
He has hypergraphia and is always drawing and writing on things often feeling like his brain is too full and he needs to get it out
He struggles with some auditory halluncinations and occasional visual ones if he's spiralling (not going to share what because it can be triggering to people with hallucinations to read about)
He struggles alot with body image issues constantly trying to look 'perfect' so he seems more in controll then he feels as he's is terrfied of people realising how much of a fraud his confident exterior is
His weight flucuatates alot with the different medication he takes for his mental health and with his hrt which causes him some distress
Basically any change he cannot control upsets him
More physical disability headcanons: He actually needs his cane as he struggles with fibromyalgia and POTS so needs it to help relieve leg pain and for balance
He does water aerobics as a gentle excercise that helps with his pain (he thinks Scarecrow would benefit from it but he refuses to go with him - it would be so nice on his joints!)
Edward actually experiences alot more low empathy then Scarecrow and had to teach himself sympathy because he did not understand others at all when they were upset or happy
He's quite touch avoidant and isn't sure why (probably trauma Edward) because he often feels like he is so desparate to be hugged that he has been hollowed out with a melon bawler
In addition he often feels very nervous around other men especailly when they get aloud or drunk (once again trauma) so often ends up with closer friendships with the women in his life like Echo Query or the Gotham Sirens who often joke that he is their diversity man hire.

Kuze: Many students see him as the junior, the Dorm leader that doesn't seem like one and instinctly would approach Yasuno more about dorm stuff… so he is liked but not really respected
Erena: Given most see her as a chaotic adventurer other students also are not convinced untill she talks with them and you see how much charisma she has as a dorm leader and how to win her over well... She just wants fun and is a capable fighter in itself
Flynn: As said he has a fanclub and many admirers but that is also true for Nanoya and Rubina, many know about his sketchyness and warn not to reveal too much to him.
Peko: A lot of fans and big popularity among many students hence haters are quickly silenced… or at least yelled at by supporters… however higher year students often know how lazy as dorm leader she is and admire Emma more
Tyler: Not many outside the dorm see him much but they often call him grumpy and many also just don't want to face his anger so he is only approached by people who know him, dorm members or fashionable to model students
Gabrielle: Many Students admire her and cheer for her, also has a small fanclub and is highly respected among the campus. Its really hard to raise a voice against her.
Aiden: Aside doing his dorm duty a loner and avoided cause of his criminal record, only dorm members really approach him… and some Exodus students cause of Kayne as well as some Valhunny students
Sindren: Some are annoyed by the hero act, others admire her, some try to gain her favour cause of her money but Mythra shoes those away
Dragiselle: the most secluded Dorm leader… Inessa does most of her task so not many met her, serves a similar Role to Malleus that not many have seen her at all... but in her case its protect others from her powers

For scientific purposes: who is your favourite eepy boy?👀
Oh, gods. I usually don't like playing favorites with anything, cause I can't really choose and don't want the others to feel bad (which now that I realize is very hmm), but I'll try.
It's gonna be a boring/easy answer, but I would say that it's Vessel. I find it easier to connect to lyricists, and they are more special to me for that. I adore all four of them, I admire their talent and love their own quirks and shenanigans, but it's the same with Metallica for me (I know, I know, I can't shut up about them), I love all four members, I respect them, but I have a special love and connection to James' lyrics and emotions.
him and Vessel are mouthpieces for emotions I didn't realize I needed someone else to express for me and they translate pain and being human so well that they are my non-favorite favorites respectively. obviously, with Sleep Token it's entirely different, because I cannot connect to any of them based on their personality, and with Metallica I've seen/read a bunch of interviews and all that, so the two bands can't actually be compared.
but at the same time, I really don't have favorites, I adore all of them, I'll argue with anyone who tries to insinuate someone is easily replaceable (or anyone who tries to shit on Lars for his drumming, Kirk for his solos and Rob for not being any of the previous bassists). With the eepies, it's more like I love their stage characters, they fit well together, they have their distinct personalities, even though we just see them interact with each other and the music, but there's small things from all four of them that I adore (II's nonchalance as he absolutely beats the shit out of his kit, III's energy and him being himself and jumping/kicking/hugging/kissing freely, IV being all groovy and doing his 'dad dance', but also being elegant and cool)
with Vessel, I absolutely hate him [affectionate] for his songwriting, every time I remember he wrote the solo in Telomeres, his lyrics, his voice in AYRO, for Jaws and Dark Signs especially, for all the little hidden references and meanings, and the things I feel like I can relate to him about, even though I don't know about his past. even though my struggles are not exactly the same, but seeing him be so open and unafraid to give us his all, bare us his heart and soul makes me feel less alone for simply feeling (even though I keep most all of it inside, I wish I could just once cry like he does on stage, I think it would mend a part of my soul). and knowing that he also struggles, that anxiety doesn't stop once you reach a certain age/level of success is both scary and comforting. same with James, how open he is about his struggles with depression and anxiety, and how he still finds a way to keep going and to do what he loves. yeah. I love them both a normal amount.
I don't like being sentimental, I usually keep thoughts like these in my head, because really, who cares, and others have more interesting stuff to say and things that they can relate to, but I thought I would share some of my thoughts, since you asked. thank you for that, and sorry for the long reply/rambling! 💙

Robot Chicken #80: “Especially the Animal Keith Crofford” | September 20, 2009 - 11:30PM | S04E19
Hey gang, we’re going to untasty this Tuesday with this bad blog entry I wrote last night, then forgot about and didn’t publish. For those of you who love reading me struggle to type out complete sentences for zero clicks, check this out:
After watching this episode, I decided to take a luxurious bath before writing about it, allowing me to let the juicy comedy morsels marinate in my valuable mind. After the bath, while I was waiting to stop being wet, I went to consult the wiki to remind me what sketches were on it (I used my bath time to think about sexual stuff instead). I ran into a sketch that I swore up and down wasn’t in the version of the episode I saw. It featured Ghost Rider being irresponsible on his motorcycle because of a song. I checked the episode again, confident that it was cut on HBOMax. Shockingly, it was there all along. It’s very common for a Robot Chicken sketch to wash over me and leave me feeling next-to-nothing, but I usually remember enough about it to adequately ID it while perusing the wiki. That’s really something, I guess.
As for the rest of the episode, it was a fairly mixed bag. Most of it was pretty typical Robot Chicken shit. I’ll highlight two sketches in this paragraph that I kinda liked: The Superman sketch, whose premise was actually pretty fun. That’s the one where baby Superman is in his pod, being nice, and listening to his dad’s educational tape before reaching Earth. There’s good lines in it. I also sorta liked the horror plumber sketch, which hit some satisfying notes for me. Not too bad.
The absolute best sketch in this, and it might actually be in the running for my favorite Robot Chicken sketch: The Cloverfield sketch. In it, the Cloverfield monster gets scolded for evoking 9/11, and is told that his attacks are “too soon”. He eventually feels bad and starts trying to rebuild the towers, topped with an American flag. He wins the crowd back, who cheer for him. The inexplicable reference to the Mean Joe Greene commercial from the 70s at the end really tickled me, with the monster throwing the huge jersey on top of the crowd. I laughed a genuine laugh!
The episode ends with it’s customary season-capping navel-gaze sketch. Featuring a parody of Louis Armstrong’s “It’s a Wonderful World”, it rivals Sealab’s “We’re Only Joking” for being disgustingly self-congratulatory. It’s only a little bit better written than that song, which is damning it with the faintest of praise. Seriously, click that link and rewatch that thing. Ignore the retards who are puffing it up in the comments for being refreshingly cancellable; it's one of the most strikingly poorly-written pieces of comedy to ever air on television.
The episode ends with Mike Lazzo (not real) doing a lot of unfunny dances, and announcing that the show is canceled. If only!

We haven't chatted in a long while but do you remember the part in Home Movies where McGuirk slices up those doors with two katanas and then said, "spaghetti time"? Did you like that scene. Break it down.
Hello, I remember you well, and I cherish you. I remember this moment, because I remember it receiving backlash from the one message board I posted at, for having McGuirk be too wacky. I remember thinking it just felt like a forced way to connect his subplot to the skunk scouts subplot.
In my opinion, he should've had a big gun instead, and that's what causes everyone to run out in terror. He can explain to his friends (who are children) that he found out he could get a huge gun for all of his swords on a trade in. Then he suicides by cop in front of them and the rest of the season is about Brendon starting a cool gore website and using his video of McGuirk getting blasted, and they change the name of the show to HOME PAGE

Five years since Wano really got the ball rolling. If our girl had one true spotlight chapter, this is it and the two moments above are a hell of a pair. Already said so much about how Bakura Town is such a thematic, strong first impression for Kiku because her story structure demands a monster of an introduction that will carry throughout this epic. Done carelessly, an intro like this could lead to setting up a Mary Sue, a character that's too much spice. See Yamato. If Kiku was dumping stuff about Kin and Izo and a tragic undertone to her story here would you care?
Maybe a little...but her popping up and just doing cool things in the moment? You need organic cause to invest in her if, by design, the point will be showing a sort of pervasive quiet desperation of always being the "leftover" of big men's ambitions by giving us the hot start and making what looks like it has all the hallmarks of a by-the-books recruitment arc happen underneath a historical epic in the making. And here it is in that proper first impression. In one core chapter you see a niche Kiku fills, a unique style of approaching a problem, and set up a core ethos. Then you the reader are trusted to remember this is her absent any need to fill a certain role for the rest of this. Because:
Luffy is just unquestionably interested in this girl to a degree he almost never is. That's not just one panel here in this chapter. But to offer something new I'm not going to rehash the idea of Mouseman and Urashima's words bookending the arc with Admiral Ryokugyu. I want you to think about how this logic has been used before in the series. We've seen this exact example of just plucking whatever wife you want off the streets. It's subtly tying the scene that follows into behavior you associate with Celestial Dragons. Here and Ryokugyu, this idea is only left to bookend the main plot we expected coming in.
While we're at it, the other villain of Kiku's introduction has never really gotten his due here. Holdem...is a man who has a lion on his tummy. The lion on his tummy punches him in the nads when upset...which naturally hurts both of them. The scene with Holdem & Tama is very thematically important. It's a good reminder of what's normal for Wano ladies and shows a kid with a similar background as Kiku dealing with a similar struggle.
All in all, this was a very cool chapter of One Piece. It was fun the first time, and when you circle back the weird writing of it's central character really starts to show itself. This is above all else where Kiku gets her chance to take the stage unburdened, and for whatever purpose...it's very clear Luffy got a kick out of her audition.

So Su Minshan loving time: say if he saved Qin Su rather than JGY, causing her to romance him, would he be interested? Assuming he was interested in women, and maybe even if he wasn't, we know SMS gets very invested in people who are kind to/remember him and while Qin Su comes from a wealthy and powerful family, she nonetheless isn't classist and is willing to romance him, a disgraced former outer disciple, and gets along well with and respects JGY.
tbh I've definitely worked with SMS being bi before, and in that case? holy moly this has the potential to be a Romance. Qin Su obviously, when she likes someone, will be supportive of them even if their background is a bit messed up and shady, and SMS being fresh off the experience of Fucking Up In Front Of Everyone (thinking of novel!SMS here)...
...it's actually fascinating because I don't know if I usually headcanon SMS having even ever told JGY about the Cave Incident? I think that even if he did, he'd downplay its impact on him or sort of gloss over the details because it was a while ago by the time he met JGY and it's something he felt deeply ashamed about; not something you necessarily want to share with your cool friend/crush. But the idea of SMS, a shorter time after that, encountering and being able to save a young woman from the Wen--that's going to bring up a lot of emotions, and I can actually see him confessing the Cave Incident to QS under the right circumstances. And if she's understanding about that (which I can see her being, in a 'that was messed up but I can see you know that, and you're trying to make up for it' way), hello one ticket for eternal friendship, loyalty, and love from su minshan.
on QS' side, we don't get an awful lot of her character, but considering that she likes JGY we can assume she likes a young man with ambition and drive who's a bit of a dark horse, so there's that. if she likes nerds we could really make this work. I can see her really enjoying the challenge of helping manage a small sect and covering a little more of the diplomatic stuff that SMS struggles with; they could be a pretty solid power couple. And of course when JGY befriends SMS, she likes him! it's all very idyllic for the most part
...of course, this sets up an interesting situation where SMS now has a wife he has to maybe lie to about doing shady stuff. which would make him very unhappy, but despite having a validating relationship already, I think he'd still really value JGY's friendship and patronage and agree with his overarching goals; but on the other hand... QS, who gave him friendship and hope and a kind of redemption at possibly the darkest point of his life. it sucks! especially if stuff starts to go south and we maybe have to flee the country 😬 so a little bit like JGY/QS, it's a lovely romance that hits a pretty big snag, just of a different nature and at a different point
and honestly i wasn't that interested in SMS/QS before, but I've made myself a bit thru making this post

Roisin's Reading Rumble Week #2
i made a playlist for wylie! am bullet pointing a lot of it and not elaborating as much as i'd like on some stuff; chronic illness + adhd are kicking my ass rn but i still want to at least try to participate so!

represents prentice and wylie's relationship
the song is from the point of view of a father who has passed on, acknowledging the pain he has caused his child and promising that he's always with them
wylie has struggled since prentice's break, so it would make sense for prentice to express similar sentiments to his son
wylie is often bitter in the early books, calling to mind the lyrics "And when you scream that it's not fair" and "And when you scream "I'm not alright"/And throw my picture at the wall/"You were supposed to be my light/And keep me safe against them all/How could you leave me here?" you'll scream."
wylie's bitterness lies both with the organization/situation that prentice was in and also with his father himself for making that choice that caused him so much pain.
these lyrics about the father not being able to reach/visibly be present for the son evoke prentice's lack of consciousness when he was broken, even when he was awake: "It's like I've gone off to the coast/Left you behind just standing there/Pretending not to see your ghost/If only you could hear my voice"
2. hey jude by the beatles
represents tiergan and wylie's relationship
on the surface level, tiergan's canonical affinity for the beatles makes this particularly fitting
hey jude was written by paul mccartney for john lennon's young son to help him cope with the changes in his family when lennon was getting divorced (tiergan being a close friend of prentice parallels the lennon-mccartney relationship very nicely in that regard)
the song encourages the young boy (in this case wylie) to remember that things will get better even though things are hard with his family right now
this feels like a song tiergan would sing to wylie after taking him in, reminding him that he was safe and that despite cyrah's death, prentice would be whole again and not all hope was lost
the chorus, in particular, conveys this: "And anytime you feel the pain, hey, Jude, refrain/Don't carry the world upon your shoulders/For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool/By making his world a little colder"
this especially calls to mind a moment where wylie tells sophie that tiergan always insisted that he talked about his feelings, because bottling them up would do him no good
the song also references a "her" multiple times: "remember to let her into your heart"
rather than lennon's new girlfriend, in this parallel i would have this "her" represent sophie--tiergan asking wylie to be understanding and not blame sophie for prentice's break, which he clearly does in the beginning before moving on as sophie makes amends

this represents wylie's general arc over the story, his sense of growing up, and also how his attitude towards sophie changes
the song originally talks about missing the past when everything was simpler, and hating on a child (who represents the singer's younger child self)
however, these lyrics could be read as referring to someone else, in this case sophie
the singer talks about missing "mom and dad in love like it's 1994"; in the original, this line refers to robbie's parents' divorce, but it could also be taken as missing when his family was whole (i.e. wylie's family when cyrah was alive and prenticve wasn't broken"
particularly, the last verse is also poignant: "I felt so much older than the kids 'round the corner/But I feel so much younger now/Overtook them all and slowed back down/Blamed a child in a daisy crown"
wylie is older than most of team valiant, but still a kid; it would make sense for him to struggle with this the way the singer does
blaming a "child in a daisy crown" could be read as how wylie blamed sophie for prentice's break
4. the light behind your eyes by my chemical romance
song anticipates the singer's death/absence and encourages the young person being addressed
represents prentice and wylie's relationship
5. arms by the paper kites
song shares singer's heartache yet determination to comfort the people being addressed
represents wylie's adoptive father expressing his determination to take care of wylie despite grieving for cyrah and prentice himself
6. marjorie by taylor swift
song is about loss and the little details one forgets after it's too late
wylie lost his father young; likely has few memories of him and cyrah which means he lost a lot of important details about them

wylie's lost both parents and moved in with tiergan; a desire for a stable family to lean on is very fitting

song about how the singer will support the person they're addressing through whatever, even if they make mistakes and take things out on the person, because they can always "come build your home in me"
represents the commitment tiergan made to supporting wylie no matter what, knowing he was hurting and that he may lash out/be difficult and resolving to love him anyway

2) When I think I truly started to like them (or dislike them, if you've sent me a character I don't like)
It's so hard to pin-point THE moment...like, I always liked him but I think with his face reveal I started to really like him JKASKJD I'm weak for white haired pretty boys okay! xD
But back in S1, I would've said my fave was more Yusaku and Ai than Ryoken. As the series progressed tho, and I started to pick apart Ryoken's character more...as I wrote him...I just came to love him a lot!! And I kept going back to s1, and appreciating his S1 self more, analyzing his actions...now I can ramble for days about this guy. SO MANY LAYERS TO HIS GUILT!
8) Your favorite outfit of them
He wears the same blazer and ankles pants every day, what outfit KASKJD Okay listen this guy has 10 of the same outfit, he's stupidly practical, SOMEONE TAKE HIM OUT SHOPPING!!
I do really like his avatar looks tho, I'm a fan of 👽 S1 alien look, but his s2 avatar is very pretty as well (I'd say I like the color scheme of his outfit more in s2 more!).
I do think he'd looks sooo good in turtlenecks...
14) Best storyline they had
S1 storyline for Revolver/Ryoken is very solid, you can draw a lot about Ryoken's character and actions, his way of thinking at that time. I love to go back to it to pick his character apart. PLUS HE'S SO GOOFY BACK THEN, I love that (even though it gets sad when you think he got to have that much fun because he was gonna...sacrifice himself with the Tower and everyone else so like, he didn't care! fuck it! he can be terrible cause nothing will matter in the end! GAH o|-<)
THO I also love the storyline(? if it can be called that) he had with Soulburner/Their duels. I always wish we'd got more of them...like I know i'm biased cause I love the ship and them individually, but their final duel is SO GOOD!!
16) A childhood headcanon

I think Jin was a bit of a shy kid, but cheerful back then. He was always going somewhere with Shoichi, holding onto the back of his shirt when he was scared...they played a lot together. Shoichi had other friends from his grade, but Jin struggled to meet other kids his own age, which made Shoichi spend so much time with him so he wouldn't be lonely :') Also partly what made him so protective from early on.
Jin also always liked reading a lot--he's very curious! Liked fantasy when he was younger, mystery novels...
24) What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone?

I do have a HC to kinda work with canon's "all of jin's memories of the incident where deleted when lightning used that 1 LP". Because I think that's dumb BUT...what if what that made was just repress the memories.
Like. Jin is AWARE there's a gap in his memories. And he's aware Shoichi is hiding something from him--but he hasn't told him that. Because whatever it is, seems to make him brother terribly sad, even when he hides it.
Jin often has vivid nightmares that he doesn't know the source of, either. He hasn't told Shoichi--if some mornings he's particularly exhausted, it's because he stayed up reading again. Doing homework. Playing a game. He doesn't want to cause his brother any more worry, because while his memories are foggy, he does remember Shoichi caring for him for a long time, he remembers the care facility he stayed at, but he doesn't know WHY he was there. He's just pretending all is normal now.
It does frustrate him though that Shoichi won't talk about it, or tell him--he feels people around him know something he doesn't.
This something i want to write for Future Circuit but the biggest secret may be that when he heard about the L.I on TV, something tugged at him...and he may have started to investigate on his own about it, trying to piece things together. Part of him doesn't want to know what's behind those nightmares and visions--too afraid to really KNOW but he also hates how people seem to be keeping stuff from him.
THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT AKJSKJDS he may have other. smaller, more chill secrets like. secretly uses his parents credit card for gacha games--JK JK (but what if lol )

ITS MY BIRTHDAY YALL!! I know nobody is going to see this but yknow i want to talk about my solar return chart cause why not!? im not really good at interpreting charts very well so bare with me. Please.🤚🏾 Now, let’s do this😼

Im going to be using this chart here and this 12 houses chart too to help me along the way. Im not interpreting my aspects cause i’m still struggling with it.
First off, my Sun is in the 11th house.idk what else to put because the sun in the 11th house is kinda self explanatory 🧍🏾♀️
MY MOON IS IN LEO! I saw that is its conjunct my ascendent so i could be wearing my heart on my sleeves this year or i could gain weight this year(especially since my moon is in the first house and i can’t remember where i saw it but someone said the moon can indicate plumpness which im very excited for! I’ve always wanted to gain some weight)
My rising is also in Leo so i could be very bold this year or maybe a Diva( A diva is a female version of a hustla👩🏾🎤) or i could be exuding a lot of confidence this year or gain a lot of it. Maybe my hair will be fuller(hopefully). I also find it cool because my asc is at 9 degrees and my natal asc is at 9 degrees too! And 9 is a Sagittarius degree so i coukd be double cheeked up or a lot of knowledge shall be bestowed on me
My mercury is in the 10th house in Taurus. Im very intrigued to see how it would work because my natal mercury is in Gemini(home sign baby)AND its at 15 degrees(gemini degree)[ Fun fact: im also Gemini dom and my dominant planet is Mercury🫣) Now, imma be honest. I have no idea how to translate mercury in the 10th house. The best thing i can think of ag the moment, is that my mind is very career based because Mercury rules how we speak and think. Very goal oriented. It’s also in Taurus so maybe careers that involve the arts like Singing(Taurus rules the throat) would be my main focus which is crazy because i lowkey want to become a singer
My venus is also in Taurus in the 10th house so the fact that my venus is at home is spectacular! Taurus energy baby. So again, could be focused on the arts but also my fashion sense could improve a lot too since venus rules fashion(i think don’t take my word for it) Venus also rules love and beauty so i could be romancing some suitors this year honhonhon or they would be romancing me honhonhon. OMG WAIT. Venus rules beauty….am i getting my long awaited glow up!?🥹🥹🥹 PLEASE im TIRED OF THIS SHIT! but don’t make me look older though. This Gemini energy i have is keeping me looking young and i like that😏. My venus also squares my ascendent. In my natal chart, my venus TRINES my ascendent. I think i will have a strong glow up since Square is a tight/harsher aspect or i would dive into things like makeup and stuff. Back to the 10th house, i saw that it conjuncts my MC so maybe my arts/sense of fashion/beauty is my career’s main focus(??)
Mars! My mars is in one of its home signs, Aries. So i have some big go getter energy with me this year which nice paired up with my 10th house stellium. My mars is in the 9th house….idk y’all um. Ok so, Mars is mostly known for its passion, intensity, drive, and seggs. So, i think i would be very passionate about those 9th house themes especially since it is in Aries. I also could be more upfront, confrontational, and bold(ayyyye fire energy)i don’t think it indicates it but maybe i’ll meet a foreigner(9th house) and he would be ambitious or i would be ambitious towards him idk
Jupiter!! My Jupiter is living it’s life in the 9th house since one of its rulers, Sagittarius rules it. Its also in Aries so my luck my come around quickly or my abundance may increase quickly which nice because my natal Jupiter is in Libra in the 12th house💪🏿. With it being in the 9th house, my philosophical thinking, the way view my religion may expand or i may travel a lot more this year all that good stuff
Saturn. Now, im a little worried because it is in my 7th house and saturn is all about restrictions😁 and it’s in one of it’s home signs, Aquarius😁. Lovely. But yknow what, maybe this could work out. Maybe i’ll meet a long term partner thats offers stability and wants to be with me forever and marry me or i could be having trouble developing connections with people and having to learn from it because Saturn said so💃🏾UPDATE! So i just saw a post on tik tok saying that saturn is in retrograde! AAAAAAAH SO GOOD THINGS SHALL COME💪🏿
Uranus. Now, Im a little excited because it’s also in the 10th house in Taurus and at a Cancer degree(16). Uranus is mostly about unexpected changes so maybe i would have a career change all of a sudden or maybe my reputation would increase(or decrease but let’s not talk about that🤚🏾 out of sight, out of mind or in this case out of mind, out of sight hehehehe) Now, since it is in Taurus, Taurus likes to take its time on things but will still get it dont regardless, so maybe these unexpected changes will happen slowly. Its also squares my Asc so it could play which again, in my Natal chart trined my ascendent.🧍🏾♀️ These changes about my looks might be very drastic now that im thinking about it🧍🏾♀️.
Neptune. My beautiful Neptune. Its at home in Pisces and it’s in the 8th house so. I think this will benefit me because natally, i have an 8th house stelli(sun, merc, and venus) so adding pisces energy into that *chefs kiss* wonderful or it coukd he deceptive towards me and it could all be a lie✨✨✨
Pluto! It is in Capricorn which is giving hardcore lover that only likes dark colors, his only personality trait is how emotionally damaged he is and he only likes hardcore sex like BDSM. and he’s a billionaire cause why not lol jk(not really) but pluto is all about transformation and breaking down the old to make way for the new. It’s in my 6th house so my routine may change or my work ethic which is cool(ig) because im in my 6th house profection year. yaaaay

But anyways, im very excited for this year. It’s my senior year of High school and off to college i go. I really hope that my 10th house stellium helps me figure out what career to go into because i’ve been struggling to figure out what i want to be. Alright so I just finished Shimousa in preparation for Heian-Kyo, so here's a longer-than-usual post about my thoughts on it. I think I'm gonna do this everytime I beat a story chapter actually.
Oh and, obligitory spoiler warning. Go play Shimousa if you don't want to be spoiled, especially if you've finished Olympus and are waiting patiently for LB5.5 like me.
First off is the story itself, which I actually liked a lot. I haven't finished Shinjuku or Agartha so take this with a grain of salt, but I think this is the second best Epic of Remnant chapter. Or at the very least my second favorite. It felt very anime-cliche, with the basic summary being "Main character gets transported to another world and has to defeat the guy commanding all the evil demons" but I like that sort of stuff so it doesn't bother me. The twist that Yagyu was the Saber of Empiero was a genuine shock to me, or it would of been if I hadn't been spoiled. Oh yeah, speaking of shocks, I lost my shit when it revealed that Amakusa was the Sorcerer. I know the shaded out sprites has been criticized as stupid, but I'm used to his Apocrypha design. So the entire time I thought he was a new NPC and not just an ascension I didn't recognize. I was so hyped for seeing who this new, unknown figure was than when he turned out to be someone I already knew I flipped.
The bossfights were kind of... eh. They weren't too difficult, and I liked the challenge of being forced to use Musashi. I think it worked for this chapter better than it did for, say, LB5.2 (go fuck yourself Demeter). Once I beat Solomon I focused on this chapter so I could get the True Name of Paraiso, since she was my first non-tutorial 4*. I didn't play it again until after Olympus so Orion made a lot of the bossfights really trival (as he does for everything pre-lostbelt). The final fight being a 1v1 between Kojirou and Musashi was really hype though. I think that was my favorite fight.
I've already talked about how Vegas caused me to heavily dislike Musashi, and she did grow on me during Olympus, but this chapter made me really like her. Which is good, because Miyamoto Musashi is one of my favorite historical figures and it'd be a shame if the version we see of him in Fate was unlikeable, even if it's not our Musashi. Everything that I found obnoxious about her in Summer 4 was somehow likeable in Shimousa, and I don't know if that because of writers or the fact that this was a serious chapter and not a gag event, but it makes Musashi one of my favorite Sabers (that list isn't very long though tbf).
Unlike Musashi, I loved Kotarou in Summer 4, so seeing him have actual story significance was really exciting for me. I knew where his arc with Danzo was headed, but it was still sad for me to watch him struggle with it. I'm definitely going to put some levels into him once I have exp to spare.
Paraiso didn't have too big of a part to play, but this is probably one of the only times I'll get to talk about her, so whatever. I really like Paraiso. Partly because I've had her since I started playing, and partly because I feel like she's the only one of the Heroic Spirit Swordmasters whose lore fit the themes of the Heroic Spirit Swordmasters. Inshun, Raikou, and Shuten all hd their spirit origins tampered with, Yagyu's a dick, and I honestly don't remember Tomoe's arc. But Paraiso, to me, embodied the idea of a Heroic Spirit who's been cursed with evil blood. And I like that. Her design's also really cool but if I went off about her anymore this post would devolve from my thoughts organized into text to just insane ramblings about my first true Servant.
Danzo's also worth noting because I feel like her character arc is very similar to Altera's, seeing as they both struggle between doing what's right and doing what they're made to do. Obviously, since Altera got her own game I feel like her's was done better, but Danzo's still spoke to me the same way Altera's did. Plus how can you go wrong with a robot waifu? It's too bad I already have Paraiso, otherwise I'd roll for her on her next banner.
Muramasa's up next on the list of things I want to talk about. I feel like most people either love or hate Pseudo-servants, but I'm kind of ambivalent towards them. I like Muramasa as a historical figure so it was really cool seeing him in Fate. I thought it was cool how they paired a renowned swordmaker of history with a renowned swordmaker of Fate lore. Actually I think he'd actually be worse off as a character if he wasn't a Shirouface (even though I hate that term) especially with Rasputin possessing Kirei and them working together in Part 2, but that's a topic for another day. My only problem with him is that whenever he popped on screen it distracted me from the dialogue because Shirou is fucking ripped. I can't wait for him to come to NA.
Amakusa's the final thing I have thoughts on regarding this chapter, even though it's mostly because I'm an idiot. Seeing this version of Amakusa, who survived Shimabara and was driven to hatred and madness as a result, really sent home the parallels between him and Jeanne, which is something that flew over my head during Apocrypha becuase I didn't know who Amakusa really was. I have a personnal connection to villains whose motive is that the being they had a stronger-than-average belief in something (be it a god, king, or system) that ended up failing them. It's why I like Jalter and Gilles as much as I do. So seeing another one of those in this already amazing chapter made me like it even more.
In short, Salem will always be my favorite chapter from Part 1.5, but Shimousa is definitely a close second. It's such a shame that such a great and important chapter is just made optional, even though I get why they did it. The characters were great, the story was right up my alley, and the boss fights were really fun.
