Share Your Last Seven Lines/Heads Up, Seven Up
Thanks for tagging me @leng-m! Glad to see you're writing, especially after the 10k disaster. ❤️ I've actually been poking at a new story, one about a girl who hunts monsters, so this was really fun.
I had been walking for only a short time when the scream pierced the dawn.
I froze on the path, and then, low under my breath, I cursed.
It was not a human scream – it was too high-pitched for that, more like a jungle cat with a clattering, creaking, clacking hiss twisting round it. I had been told that the village of Lesa was experiencing monster troubles, but I had not expected to run into it just yet.
My hand tightened atop my cane. Even now, after nearly three years of forcing myself to go toward trouble instead of away, it wasn’t easy. I put one foot in front of the other, as quickly as I was able, but before I could get very far, a shape parted the mist and hurried toward me.
I'm gonna tag anyone else who wants to do it because I always need more writer friends. :)

Hey you!
I just came from your Sasori Roleplay account. I wasn't sure if you were active there anymore, so I hopped on over here via your pinned post.
You seem like a talented and fun person to roleplay with, so I thought why not ask?
I've read your rules and some of the older blogs and they really resonated with me.
I used to roleplay Itachi on Amino like you used to play/still play(?) Sasori on here. Those in depth roleplays that just make my heart sing. And also the RPs that are a pain to find because...well...novella takes work. And building a bond with a character who isn't naturally friendly takes even more time.
Still those have got to be the most fun times I can remember from my teens. And I misss them...
It was quite challenging to find people who share similar views on roleplaying and like the same fandom. So I must have given up sometime back. And when I read your blog today, I was instantly like "Oh my god this is exactly what I was looking for" (except like 6 years passed since I last attempted that xD)
So I wanted to pop in and say "Hi, I love your blog already!" but that didn't quite suffice so here we are xD.
It's kinda funny because after all this time not roleplaying, I found myself on tumblr, figured why not make a Sasori RP account (there are many others for the Naruto characters) to have some fun and be nostalgic? But...there was still a little 'eh' that was missing. And I found it in your blog.
I adore it, when people just get their characters and portray them correctly. And I've been aching to find more people like this. I remember it being quite the challenge in the past, back in my Itachi days, so it was like a gift to find your account!
Anyways, I am trailing off-
I'd love to RP with you sometime. Or...to just chat and reminisce about days past, even if I just discovered you today. I just know I would have loved to have you in my Akatsuki geoup back in 2015.
I hope you have a lovely day!
This is the SWEETEST message, oh my lord, thank you so much! You have no idea how happy this made me and how much I needed this little spark of positivity in my life right now!
I unfortunately no longer RP on tumblr due to some incidents that have made me wary over the years. I also no longer RP Sasori, but I do still RP in the Naruto fandom, just on Discord with friends that I am comfortable with. Novella does take work! But man, if it isn't worth the effort! I'm so glad people are still RPing and taking up Sasori. He absolutely deserves that love! Unfortunately, I did most of my tumblr RP back when the manga was still ongoing and tumblr was at its peak so there was a LOT more interaction then than I see these days. I wish it could go back to being that way! I miss a lot of the friends I made back then! (But also I'm still friends with some of them 10 years later, it's fantastic. You really form some lasting bonds). Even back then, however, there were only ever a couple of Sasori accounts (like... maybe 3, not including myself? And most were not active).
I'm mostly a Shisui RPer these days, though I do write for Kakashi, Tobirama, Kisame, and Izuna, too! Like I said, though, I only RP with those I'm super comfortable with, but if you want, I have plenty of recs for you! I'm also KomorebiRabbit on AO3 and @komorebirabbitwrites. My Sasori is actually heavily based on characterization from @renaerys and her works from back then (such as Zero Hour) and she is still writing FANTASTIC Sasori works to this day. I mean absolutely unbelievable, haunting, you will never get it out of your head type fics. Her characterization is unparalleled and also she's just an awesome person in general! I also mod @sasoriweek which will happen again in November of this year!
Also, if you like dark, horror-heavy Sasori, Athelise on AO3 is absolutely amazing! She writes such an interesting Sasori and some phenomenal smut, I definitely recommend her!

Thank goodness your writing again. I missed your writing. Have you saved up enough jades for the upcoming banner? Heads up since Firefly and Jade kit and animation is already in the honkai star rail leaks reddit and let me tell you they are amazing. Firefly is so cool and awesome and Jade is dommy mommy, make it very hard for me to manage my jades. But alas I am a robin fan and in dire need of 5 star harmony(since I lost 50/50 from both of the two previous limited five stars to bronya, she really said I am only the five star harmony you need) so I have 45 pulls ready hope to win 50/50 once again (I swear if I lost to freaking bronya again, the I’ll accept and relic farm for her).
PSA: Sorry if I seem too pushy but are you still continuing the Care Package series? I loved it so much and miss those adorable writing. I’ll be patiently waiting if you decide to continue to the series. I even have some mini headcannons that I’d like to share with you if you do so.
Hello! Its great to be back haha, im glad to know you were patiently waiting for me <3.
Unfortunately, I dont play honkai star rail anymore – my phone just gives up and so i just resort to watching the gameplays online. However, if I was still playing, I'd probably save up for firefly! I have yet to see the leaks hehe. Also, Jade was a surprising addition by the devs. It's also (lamented by sunday enjoyers) surprising that she's to be released before Sunday if I'm correct?
Regardless, I wish you the best for your rolls on Robin! She's a cutie, I'd love to have her on my team too. Although.. Bronya seems to be challenging her spot on your team, lol. I hope either way, you win your 5050s and get the best of relics for your characters <3
Also, no you're not pushy at all with the Care Packages. I've been wanting to continue it but I'm not sure which characters to do just yet. I'll probably kickstart it again with a special "Trailblazer" package "event", and complete a few more characters on my list that way, hehe. Im also open to listening to your ideas! Feel free to reply to my posts, reblog them with it or just send an ask directly.

Thoughts on Yoonmin Suchwita
Tumblr media
Just a quickie write up of my first impressions as I'm slammed with deadlines at work today.
Of course Park Jimin brought Yoongi a birthday cake and serenaded him. Of course he did.
How touching to learn Yoongi bought Jimin his first alcoholic drink to help him through his soulmate dumpling fight!
Early in the year Jimin was in a huge funk and drank a lot (I WONDER WHAT COULD BE THE REASON), but then he snapped out of it for Las Vegas and spent 10 months obsessively working on his album, in which he realized how good he's had it, where he needs to improve, and what he really wants. Amazing creative growth.
So, clearly Yoonmin enjoy pulling each other's pigtails. Hearing Yoongi tease Jimin that he didn't have the body to go shirtless any more... not gonna lie, I sucked in a sharp breath. I am super sensitive to this because of my own disordered eating in the past as a dancer, and I know how Jimin gets dragged online damned near every day for being "Pigman." Frankly, Yoongi should know it, too. But Jimin seemed totally unbothered and they do razz each other about everything, so I'm gonna try and let this go.
The other thing I'm going to try and let go is how hard folks are going to lean into Jimin saying Letter was a fan song. Yes, it was an Easter egg for fans, and yes, he does love us. No, that song is not FOR us and anyone with half a brain gets what is being coded. But I'm not gonna argue about it any more than I'm going to argue about the placement of a J over an M tattoo that keeps being retouched while the others are neglected. If you want plausible deniability, Jikook will always give it to you. Have at it.
Anyway, I was so moved by all the wonderful things Yoongi said, in between teasing Jimin--how proud he was of Jimin, how hard he worked, practicing every single day, that he was a genius, that he always knew Jimin had the unique voice to be a great singer, that he wanted Jimin on his team from day one... that of course he will come to the music shows to support Jimin. Yoongi doesn't typically gush so this warmed my heart.
The way Yoongi kept insisting Jimin come appear on stage while he's on tour and Jimin eventually agreeing that he will. (Roo is going to try very, very hard not to hope he will come to Newark. More than likely Jimin will visit Yoongi on a stage is Asia and that's cool. It's all cool. If Roo saw Park Jimin in person this April, she would combust.)
It was made clear that the members are responsible for their solo promotions and have a heavy say in their albums so I hope that kills any rumors that the company is forcing a narrative or picking favorites. Everything is unfolding how the Tannies wish it to and that's good enough for me to get behind it.
I love how Jimin said that there's no difference between Park Jimin and Jimin of BTS--how he wants to keep going as a team until they are in their 80s--how what he looks forward to most is getting back together in 2025.
Also the way he kept hinting at another album (and the way Yoongi called him out on that--Yoongi pulled no punches, goddamn.)
It was adorable the way they made each other giggle about product placements, fan calls, fan challenges and the like. These two. I'm so glad Yoongi has Jimin and the other members to get silly with. And Jimin laughed til he cried. It was healing to see.
I love that they keep in touch with Jin, that they bring Jin mulhue, that they are happy he's at a healthy weight now.
I'm a little thrown about Yoongi mentioning grandkids but then bisexuals exist and there's been rumors he's dating a woman for a while now. I am not going to dig into it because that's his business. If Yoongi wants a family someday, awesome sauce. If Yoongi doesn't, awesome sauce. I mean this sincerely--I support all 7 wherever they go on their journeys. Even if Jikook don't end up together, I'll be sad about it, but I'm still in this Bangtan shit for life. I'm OT7, and Jimin ult biased, then a Jikook supporter. I happen to believe that Jikook are very much together but being very careful about showing that openly, but if you think otherwise, or it ends up being otherwise, that's honestly okay.
I will just say I'm loving that Yoongi gave Jimin a gift of pillow mist spray in Jungkook's and Jimin's favorite scent of lavender.
Mostly just happy to see our boys so happy.

PS. The bottles in this shot are signed by Jin and Hobi. *wibble*

(YEP I'M ALREADY DONE, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO
As promised, I'm tagging you @ultimateplaylistmaker x) Hope you will enjoy it!
This is my interpretation of their "alicorn Kokichi AU" check it out everyone it's awesome!
It's crack taken seriously btw, I put way too many details and changes, I hope you'll still like it!
Also apologies if anyone is OOC, I never wrote about MLP before x)
That's the first part, mainly Kokichi's, I'll write more about the others! -I stopped because Tumblr was struggling to show all of it lmao, I think I've reach the characters limit-
Death is a bitch.
Wait, no. Death is a dude. Well, bastard then.
The terms of their deal were SIMPLE! He beats the god -at poker you morons, he's not stupid enough to challenge the Grim Reaper at chess, one of the oldest games in history, and apparently one of its personal favorites- and him and all the other idiots from the killing game get brought back to life.
(No he's not attached to any of them. Absolutely not. He just added them so he wouldn't get killed again straight away by that damn assassin. Because without the space idiot to restrain her, she would have gone to kill him again. Anyway, not the point.)
And he fucking did, yes sir! Outsmarted the god of death himself, the grim reaper in person! He's amazing like that. Don't try to fuck with a Supreme Leader of Evil!
Anyway. Point is, he won. He tricked the god of death himself to fold on his turn by pure bluff.
And that was the condition: if he could trick death itself to fold, to give up while he had nothing, then it could recognize his value. Apparently, Death -or Thanatos if he remembers correctly- likes bold humans, so it -he?- have no problem make an exception from time to time. Under conditions obviously.
He didn't had many humans who tried. So every attempts was a welcomed change from the -apparently- frankly boring existence he had.
Hey, he wasn't about to complain, it helped here.
He grabbed his scarf -how the hell did he had it with him when he died without it, no clue, but again let's not look a gift horse in the mouth shall we?- and thought of his team. He'll see them soon.
He was already starting to feel weird. Like he was being sucked out of his own... body? Probably Death doing his thing.
However, right before things turned to black, he could have sworn he heard a "wait shit-" and saw a panicked expression on the god's face.
Huh. Wonder what that means...
~0o0~
The first thing he registered was the smell.
A foul smell, and one he knew well, considering he'd not always been hanging with DICE in the most sanitary places.
Garbage. his mind helpfully provided.
Wow, fuck you too Death. Really, too much honor!
He scoffed, and started to get up wobbly. Waking up from dying was... weird. His head was killing him -ah!- same for his sides.
When he tried to get up from the ground, he barely made one step before falling back on all four. And...
Wait a second.
WAIT. A. SECOND.
That's not a hand. That's a damn hoof! What the hell?
A quick check up confirmed that yup. He's a horse now. Everything's fine.
Oh and he have wings too. Because why not.
What the hell did Death do?! Wait. Didn't he acted surprised before he passed out?
...Did the god of fucking DEATH made a mistake?
How do you even fuck up that badly? He's human for fuck's sake! Now he's a horse?! (Well technically a pegasus he guesses.)
Alright. Focus Kokichi. Freak out later. Right now you need to know where in the world you are.
At least he still have his scarf. Which... thank god (clearly not Death.) it helps a bit to have something familiar.
Alright. Now that he more or less put himself back under control, he needed to exit that damn alleyway... He could already feel a headache. Gre-
Hold up. There something on his head too.
Great, now what?
...That felt like a... horn or some sort.
What, so he's both a fucking unicorn and a pegasus now? That's a thing?
Does Death have fursonas or...? Actually, that could be an interesting question.
But that's not the time for this.
Right now he needed to hide. He heard voices, and even though he couldn't understand the fuck they were saying -great, he wasn't even in Japan? That wasn't a language he recognized either.- he could hear the dangerous tone they had.
So that's what he did! He bolted under a pile of trash, not caring about the smell. And he saw...
...Are those supposed to be horses too? They... looked like a mix of horse and bugs.
Not thinking of the Insect Meet and Greet. Bad idea. Not thinking of Gonta's execution either. Nope. Not doing that.
They were all black, green big buggy-like eyes and wings... Were those fangs? Yikes. He definitely doesn't want to be seen by them... And they have holes in them? Shouldn't that hurt?
They were speaking. Something he couldn't understand... But they weren't alone.
There were actual horses with them! But wait.
They were clearly prisoners. Uh oh.
Welp, seems he was right to hide! One point for him. But something was a bit weird too.
Some had horns. Some had wings, and some had neither. But none had both, asides from these... insects-horses bad guys.
Alright.
Clearly he's not in Japan (or on Earth at all) and this place is populate with sentients horses. Or ponies, who cares.
They don't seem to be able to have both a horn and wings. Only these creepy bug-horses seem to. And they don't look friendly.
If he want to fit in, he'll need to hide either the wings or the horn. He doesn't want to end up in jail before he can figure a way to go back to his own world.
...The horn would probably be the easiest to hide. He'll just need to lie about why he have something on his head that looks like one.
Easy peasy. He can do this. Hell, he tricked the god of death, he can trick a few horses!
...He'll just need to learn the language. Great.
Also, he needed to find a way to avoid those creepy bug-horses guys. Something tells him that looking like one of their prisoners wouldn't help him there.
But first thing first: find a way to hide that horn. He suppose it's a small mercy that he got thrust in a dumpster. It's easy to find what you want, as long as you know how to look.
Two minutes later he found some sturdy papers and got to work. With hooves it wasn't easy, but he had all the time in the world.
~0o0~
...He's pretty sure he passed a good hour on it. But it was done! It was clearly not in the best condition, but at least it hid the horn efficiently -it was a hassle to put the rubber band around something on his head with hooves, but he did it. It wouldn't do to have his cover getting blown away by the wind!- and would stay in place.
While he was working, he kept hearing some words in particular. They sounded like names?
And it thankfully made him learn that even if he couldn't understand what the FUCK those bug-horses were saying, he could at least understand the normal ponies. (Probably because he's one too.) Phew.
"Celestia" "Cadence" "Chrysalis" were the words he kept hearing in those creepy guys' language. Also there was the same word in front of the first two names, the third one had another word.
Considering the normal horses were calling the first two "princess", he could understand Chrysalis was probably the leader of those bug-horses.
Sounds like girl's names either way, so if the first two were princesses, the last one must be a queen, and probably an enemy if what he was seeing was any indication.
Anyway, that wasn't important. What was, was to find a way to avoid these... bug-horses things. (He's pretty sure he heard the horses -or ponies they were rather small- call them something like "Changelings"? Whatever that means.)
However, when he thought about that, he had an odd feeling. It was like his body was telling him "big thing's coming towards us captain!" And when he went to -discreetly duh- check, he was greeted with a white light which was sweeping those Changelings and send them flying far away from here, leaving the horses alone.
...Well damn. He suppose he didn't had to worry about those now. That's one thing taken cared of.
Now he could use that diversion to get the hell away from here! It was a good time to learn if he could run like this.
Running... to somewhere. Away from this place at least. It have a big castle nearby, and he's going to bet there's a ruler in there. Probably those princesses. And he does NOT want to be near the persons -or horses in that case- that can put him to jail.
Next, he need to find a way to get something to eat. Because he's plently good at picking pockets, but usually he have two human hands for this!
That also leave the problem of figuring the currency... Urgh. All that reasoning hurt his head.
First thing first. Waiting for the night to fall. It's easier to walk in the shadows -even if looked to be a rather light shade of purple- that way. And apparently, there was a wedding going on? Perfect. Everyone will be too busy with that to notice someone hanging around.
Maybe he could steal a few things along the way before buying supplies to perform in the streets and gain more money legally. Because while he doesn't mind stealing, if he get caught he doesn't have his team here to bust him out...
DICE...
Raah, enough self-pity! He have a world to figure out!
With a slap on his face -or rather, a punch...- he started to run forwards. After a few struggles, he was able to run like he didn't learned like, five minutes ago, and he setted off.
~0o0~
The adventage with big cites, was that no matter how odd you may look, nobody will pay enough attention to retain your face. Because why should they? You're just another person passing by.
That's how he successful picked the pockets of a few horses without anyone noticing. Seems like even in this world the riches were dumb! And here he was, worried that with hooves he'd struggle.
He hid his treasure in his scarf. Regrouped the coins in one wallet and-
And holy shit were those gold coins?!
Kokichi knew they looked rich, but he never thought they'd literally carry GOLD on their person like that!
...Something was clearly fishy here. It looked too good to be true.
Aaaaaaaand he was proven right. Goddamnit. Apparently gold didn't had the same value here, if buying only a few pastries costed two or three golden coins!
...He really hoped he could ask the prices directly, because if he have to dicipher any writing he's screwed.
Because apparently, even if he could understand the language, he couldn't read it! Damn it. Back to first grade he goes, having to relearn how to read! Just his luck.
Hmmmm.
Entering a shop and interacting without knowing any of the mannerisms of the ponies would be a bad idea. He was lucky the shops there stayed opened the full night thanks to that wedding (a royal wedding even, damn. One of those princesses?) but if it's to blow his cover, it's stupid.
Maybe he could pretend to be deaf? That could work. He just hope they don't have a sign language here, otherwise he's fucked.
He eyed the shop (it had a jester's hat for a roof. That's clearly the place he needed to go to!) and took a deep breath.
Alright! Time to see if he's as good as an actor as he was when still human!
~0o0~
He pushed the door to be greeted by a cheerful pony behind the counter (he's going to call them ponies because they are seriously smaller than horses, all of them.)
"Welcome, welcome! Are you searching to prank your friends? You are at the right place! We have everything, from fake flowers to- um, boy?"
Well, sorry random pony but he have to pretend he can't hear you. So he just looked at the shelves with a lost expression.
"Um hello?"
Nope.
The cashier was probably puzzled. Eh, sorry. But well, he needs to be safe here!
Once he noticed what he needed, he grabbed the deck of cards -with his teeth, not like he had any other options...- before going to the register. The pony was clearly confused, but he still tried to keep a smile on.
"Ah, found your treasure? It's gonna be two golds!"
Now... Action!
He pretended to be confused for a second. Then he widdened his eyes, before putting a hoof at his ear -that still felt SO weird- and then shook his head.
And thankfully, the cashier seemed to understand, thank fuck.
"Oh! Alright, hold on!"
He went to rumminaged behind the counter and put a paper and a pen. Then he started to doodle two coins, and pointed to the deck of cards.
Alright then! It worked. Phew.
Also, it looked like a gold is really just a golden coin. That's a mystery solved at least. He nodded, before putting the wallet from his scarf, and taking out two coins that he put on the counter.
He got a bag out of this, and his deck of cards.
And a bunch of informations too. Apparently ponies are way less ableists than humans! That guy literally went "alright please wait" when he pretended to be deaf.
He grinned. Oh he's going to abuse of it so much.
Now though, he had a stand to settle... But later.
He's tired, and he's been there for a long time. The day was even not so long away from rising, so he thinks he should settle for the night.
Since he can keep the deaf act, he could probably find a room. Probably. If not, he'll just find a dark corner and sleep there. Not the first time he slept outside after all!
~0o0~
Finding a room was easy. So yay for him!
Falling asleep on the other hand, was not.
Let's put asides the few attempts he had to do to find a comfortable position as a pony to lay into okay. Their bed weren't different from humans, and it wasn't that hard.
However, sleep meant nightmares for him.
Really, that was expected. He struggled enough to sleep on a daily basis -what do you know, killing games are bad for your mental health! Shocker. Who would have guessed- so with the whole mess that happened with his death, that was even worse.
Everytime he closed his eyes, it's to reopen them in the hangar. And while being human again would be great, reviving his own death isn't synonym of good dreams.
He gave up sleeping after three times waking up in cold sweat. But hey, apparently that was enough sleep so the sun that was starting to rise was already really high! So midday, or later then that.
He payed for the room and left. Now, to find a place far enough from that town...
~0o0~
He travelled by night, slept in the day, and gathered as much informations as possible.
Apparently the kingdom as a whole was called Equestria -damn really no inspiration uh- and that Celestia princess was ruling over it in the big castle he saw at Canterlot (the capital then) with her little sister Luna. Both responsible for the sun and moon respectively.
Okay so appareltly the celestial bodies aren't moving without help here. All the work of magic. Even the weather was controlled by pegasi.
Actually, maybe he can try to learn how to fly while he's at it, that'd be fun. It's not because he's stuck here -preferably temporary, looking at you Death!- that he can't have a bit of fun while he's at it.
He wonders if that include the others too.
Wait shit.
The others.
They are going to have his head if they learned they'd be brought back as fucking ponies because of him. (In his defense he never wanted that, it's Death's fault!)
But to avoid suspicion on himself, he'd had to also cover their asses. Great. Let's see.
He'll just explain -once he settled somewhere- that him and a group of others were kept prisoners by those Changelings. And when they attacked Canterlot, they brought him and the others with them, to use as hostages if they get caught before they could carry out their plan.
They'd been raised by them, away from ponies since they were toddlers so they don't even have "pony names" (he realized the names here were fucking cheesy, nothing like Japanese names) and now they're just completely lost. And if the others were talking about things that didn't made sense, it was for that reason.
Yup, sounds good! With a few fake tears it'll do the trick perfectly. Now, he just need to find an isolated place to settle.
Also maybe picking a name along the way too. That'd be a good idea to blend in.
Oh wait, does he have to pick one for the others too? He hope not.
Anyway, for now he needed to concentrate on himself first.
~0o0~
...He'd made a HUGE mistake.
He was -apparently, if the ponies' words were to believe- close to a little town called Ponyville (do they really have no inspiration for the names? Come on guys!) so he had decided to shift his sleeping schedule to actual night since he was pretty close.
"Not like that would change much about my dreams" he thought.
Ah! He couldn't have been more wrong.
The nightmare started the same. The usual deaths, and executions, before his-
But when the press was about to come down, he felt something... different.
Pure white energy -that he could recognize as magic now- completely wipe out the hangar out of existence.
Now he was just... In uh... Space? The spaceman'd be thrilled.
He was on a path made of light blue light and white dots... The same thing that was everywhere.
There were doors too, the hell?
"Whomst in Equestria's name art thou?!"
Uh oh.
He turned around -he's so damn glad that in dreams he's human...- and is greeted by-
Wait what?
That's a dark blue mare -definitely taller than most ponies- with... weird space floaty mane.
But the most important thing is that she had both a horn and wings!
How is that possible? He thought only those Changelings guys could-
Wait.
Waaaaaait a minute.
She had what looked to be a crown. And she had a moon... tattoo? On her flank.
Is that the fucking princess of the moon? What is SHE doing here?! Also, how is that possible that she also got both wings and horn-
Oh. Oh no.
That's a fucking status isn't it? Having both. Normal ponies either have one of the two, or neither. Having both must mean being royalty.
...Yeah no. He's keeping that horn HIDDEN. He want to be able to leave this world, not being bond here by duties!
(Besides, the only people he want to lead are his minions. No one else.)
No wonder ponies were looking at him weird! That's like pretending to be royalty!
Let's hope it's not a crime... Wait, if it was he would have been arrested already.
Fuck.
"Answer us!"
Oh whoops. He forgot the princess was still here.
"Gotta go, bu-bye!"
He needs to wake up. He have to. He can't stay here. He have to!
He doesn't know how, he doesn't why, but he successfully woke up after everything around him turned purple.
Now. Now let's think.
He needed to avoid getting the attention of the princess. Considering she didn't intervene until now, he assume that it's because she's only walking in dreams in the night -make sense for the moon princess to be up in the night.
So... He need to keep the noctural schedule. Sleeping in the day, to avoid her. And if he can't, then he need to keep her at bay.
But considering he doesn't know how to use magic, he's going to focus on the first option.
To be able to use magic, he needs training. And to train, he needs books -no way in hell he's asking for help after learning all that mess about royalty- and to be able to understand those books he need to learn how to read.
A hell of a program he have in front of him. Oh well, at least it's gonna keep him busy.
Alright. He needed to go now.
To that town he goes! While expecting to not draw attention.
~0o0~
He arrived at the border of it. There was a rather small and cozy looking cottage here, surrounded by forest. It was midday, the pony probably wasn't hom-
His thoughts were cut off by a high-pitched scream. Probably a girl's voice.
...Great, what now? A scene like this would be hard to settle-
...
There was a yellow pegasus. Pink mane, who was protecting herself (assuming she was the one who screamed) from a bulky earth pony (that's how those who have no wings nor horn were called right?)
The earth pony was really tall, like, two heads more than Kokichi himself. Light green color, dark green tangled mane...
Wait a minute. WAIT A DAMN FUCKING MINUTE.
Red eyes with round glasses, and a bug cage warped around its neck.
It's-
"Gonta so sorry! Gonta not meant to scare horse!"
"GONTA!"
Wow, go him. Yelling his name like that and sprinting in their direction.
That at least got both of their attention. So there's that.
Gokuhara was looking at him with pure confusion. Probably didn't recognized him, which was fair. He was a fucking pony for fuck's sake.
"Uh? Does Gonta know you, horse? Gonta sorry, doesn't know horse with wings..."
"Geez, thanks a lot. he huffed. Can't recognize your leader? So mean! How could you forget about me? he started to sniffled. You're breaking my heart! How could you?!"
The theatrics were apparently enough.
"K-Kokichi?"
"At last! he said, raising a hoof. That's me alright."
"Kokichi is a horse."
"Pony technically, pegasus to be more exact. And you're one too."
"But Gonta die-"
"About that! he cut him off. We need to talk in private. Bu-bye yellow pegasus, sorry for the scare!"
He grabbed Gonta's bug cage's strap and pulled to make the other follow him in a recluse place.
Once far enough, he sighed.
"Alright, just hear me out. I know you're confused as hell, me too. Maybe even mad at me about what happened in the game, I won't blame you for that. But we have other things to worry about: we're not in our world, I think you noticed as much."
"People are horses." nodded Gonta with a serious expression.
"They call themselves ponies, but yeah. There's no human here. There's no killing game either. Monokuma doesn't exist. The Academy either. This world... is more or less peaceful."
"No killing game? he softly asked. No Monokuma?"
"Nope. Nothing. And... Considering we're both here, I'd say everyone who died is also here. Though to find them is going to be complicated..."
The leader pondered for a second. How could they find everyone? It would be best if everyone wasn't far away from each other, if Death comes back for them -and he better!- it'd be quicker to be send back.
"Kokichi died?"
Oh wait. Oops. Right, he forgot Gonta wouldn't know.
"Yup! Right after you in fact. Anyway, not the point-"
"Did Monokuma also punished Kokichi?"
Uh? Why is he asking that?
Oh.
Everyone... Please stop blaming Kokichi now.
...He's still too kind.
"Nope. Maki killed me. he paused. Or rather Kaito. Eh, one of the two. I don't know what finished me off. he shook his hoof. Anyway, not the point. I died, and Kaito also died probably because he was sick. Meaning, everyone who died before you, plus Kaito and myself are probably here."
"E-Everyone?"
"Yup. But we need to recognize them -wouldn't be too hard probably...- and find a cover story."
"Cover story?"
"This world doesn't have a killing game Gonta. That means, if we tell them what happened to us, they won't understand, and that'll bring us problems."
"Oh. Gonta understand. But Gonta doesn't want to lie to them... They look nice."
"Good thing I'm here! Leave the lying part to me. I'm a liar after all! Also we need new names. Because names here aren't like ours. If we want to blend in... Just leave it to me okay?"
The giant just nodded.
The leader just nodded back, before returning to the cottage. Let's hope she's still here and uh... Not freaking out.
~0o0~
...Uh oh.
She called her friends apparently. There were five new ponies all around her. Two unicorns, another pegasus and two earth ponies.
"Hey you two! How dare you scare Fluttershy like that!" yelled the blue pegasus.
"Ah! Gonta sorry! Gonta didn't meant to scare pony!"
Well, here goes the enthomologist, apologizing again. But Kokichi's not going to play that card. He put a hoof in front of the giant and frowned.
"Don't apologize, we don't know if they aren't with them!"
Cue confusion. That's what he want to see!
"W-With them?"
"You know how they are! They can change appearance at will and pretend they're your friend!"
Not a lie. The mastermind was -if what Death told him was true- a master of disguise. The Ultimate Cosplayer after all. And the ponies would probably think of the changelings, which is what he wants.
"Hey! Are you saying we're changelings!"
"And what if I am uh? he grinned. Don't like having the truth in your face?"
"H-Hey now."
Oh? The purple unicorn stopped the blue pegasus. Seems like he found the leader of that little group.
"We aren't changelings. We swear on Celestia's name!"
"And how can we believe you uh? You could be lying!"
There. That was the cue for Gonta normally...
"They don't smell like changelings..." he mumbled.
"You should listen to your friend! We're not changelings! We fought them!"
Now, to pretend to be hesitant.
"Are you sure?" he asked the enthomologist.
Gonta nodded, and he pretended to scratch his head -while leaving the papers around his horn alone- with confusion.
"I think we all started on the wrong hoof. gently said the purple one. You are at Ponyville, you're safe! There's no changelings here."
"Why did you thought there were some in the first place? Changelings don't live here. We kicked their butts not so long ago!"
"Rainbow Dash! You're not helping. she smiled at them. Sorry about my friend, she's very straightforwards. How about we talk somewhere else, around pastries?"
"Oh oh! the pink one started to jump happily. I'll go prepare them! I'll be right back!"
And she left... by jumping? Why not.
Alright.
Time to bluff the hell out of this conversation.
~0o0~
...It had been stupidly easy. He explained to them that Gonta and him were part of a group of ponies who got abducted when they were toddlers by changelings, got raised by them, humiliated, turned around each other et cetera... Got brought along at the assault on Canterlot, and since the white energy who yeeted the changelings didn't hurt them, they ended up here, and don't know what to do or where to go.
That's how he learned that the wedding that took place was the purple one's (Twilight Sparkle apparently. Still cheesy, yup.) brother's, and they were here, and were also fighting the changelings.
And apparently that wave of magic was from the love between the bride and groom.
Ew. They didn't ended up at Equestria, they ended up at "Cheesy Land". But he still noted the information.
When they asked about why the hell he got a fake horn, he explained that it was to be less beaten by changeling. After all, they have both horn and wings, so he thought if he looked like them they would leave him alone. Not that it worked. -The fact that it was curved helped his story. But come to think of it why is his curved and not everyone else's? Not even the princesses' are curved. Weird.) Now though he just keep it because it's the symbol of the princesses and that's pretty cool! After all it was one of them that indirectly freed him and the others from the changelings' grasp. He's pretending to be like them! (they had no idea how true that statement was.)
That was way too easy to make them believe that with fake tears. Even Gonta tried to comfort him even though he knew it was fake (though it was probably to make it more believable. Gonta is a lot of things, but an idiot isn't one of them.)
"But then... You don't have names?" asked the other unicorn -Rarity if he remembers correctly.
"We have the ones the changelings gave us. he said, wiping the tears with his hoof. Mine's Kokichi Oma. he pointed to Gonta. His is Gonta Gokuhara. But those aren't real ponies' names."
"That's true..." Twilight seemed thoughtful.
"Oh oh! Maybe we can pick some for you!" the pink one said, with a smile that reminded him a bit too much of Angie.
"...I'd prefer choosing my own thanks."
"Of course! Pinkie, let them chose... Once it's done, we'll ask the mayor to put you in the records." Twilight said.
"That'd be nice. Also... If you find someone with a weird name, that's probably a friend of ours."
Not really true, but he needed to find those idiots as quickly as possible.
"I'll pass the word at Clousdale!"
Aaaaaand the blue one was already gone.
"I'll ask around the farm if anyone saw a lost pony." the orange one nodded, tipped her hat and left.
"I'll send a letter at Princess Celestia too. the purple unicorn nodded towards the... dragon? at her side. In the meantime, do you have ideas of names? Also, what are your talents?"
Talents? That's easy- oh wait.
"What do you mean by talent?" he asked, raising a hoof to stop Gonta from talking.
Translation: is that the same thing as their Ultimates?
"Oh. Yeah, I suppose the changelings wouldn't do that... she mumbled to herself. Something you are really good at? You both have your cutie marks so..."
What the fuck is that now. (Also, cheesy, the return.)
"Oh! Gonta is an enthomologist!"
He saw Fluttershy -that's her name right?- perking up from behind Rarity.
"Oh that's great! she turned towards him. And you?"
"I guess you can call me a trickster. he smirked. I prank people. And trick them. a pause. Mainly changelings though."
A lie but hey.
"If Gonta's talent is "Enthomology" you could call mine "tricky dice"." he shrugged.
But that question of names... He needed to find one. And Gonta too.
"Hey Gonta, how about "Baron Buzz" for you? Sounds good?"
"Oh! Gonta not mind this. Gonta likes it!"
"Well, that's settled then. Mine now..."
He think again.
Let's see their situation.
He got attributs that could get him royal duties, which is problematic. He needs to hide it...
He made a deal with Death and no one need to know about that. To get everyone back to life, but also to fuck with miss mastermind too while he's at it.
He grinned.
"Call me Royal Collusion then!"
That's when both Rainbow Dash and the farmer came back.
"I found a pegasus that looks really lost, and he calls himself Kaito... something."
"I found a small guy that call himself Ryoma!" added the other.
Oh. Well that was quick.
"They're with us alright. You're coming Gonta? Let's get Ryoma back first."
"Hm hm!"
First they get the depressed tennis player back, then the astridiot.
Welp, they got a pretty nice program ahead of them it seemed.
"Then let's go."

✨If you get this, someone thinks you are awesome!✨
✨Send this anon to 10 blogs that make you happy when you see them on your dash ✨
Hi anon, anon, anon, anon, anon, and anon. I hope you'll forgive me that I'm just gonna answer this once - but with a li'l twist!
I love that people took time out of their lives to tell me they think I'm awesome; I think they're all awesome, too! Now instead of answering this six times and then sending this on to 10 people anonymously... I'm gonna call out the people I was gonna send this to publicly! With a little bonus...
#1
It has to be @geralts-yenn! I couldn't call myself her rodent bestie if I didn't have this number 1 spot reserved for her. Now, first this bitch wonderful person writes me Ray of Sunshine, a modern-day Melot AU wet dream filled with bikers and beaches and sex, but she also hit us with anahita - a Napoleon smutfic so hot you'll be sweating like a whore in church before you're even through the first paragraph. Go read that. You're welcome.
#2
Next, we've got my co-Dutchie @keanureevesisbae, who is busy with her own projects instead of fanfics nowadays. Still: Go read endeavors and thank me later. Or, if you're into a little RPF and want to live life vicariously through sugarbaby Becky there's also sugar sugar, which is very nice as well... (I just want a man to come take me shopping, okay?)
#3
@deandoesthingstome is an amazing writer, I am often jealous of her way with words, and she is one of the kindest people I know on here. Go read Holiday Angel. It has everything. A luxurious mansion to mentally vacay in for a bit, gentle!Dom!August, forbidden fruit romance. It's a long one, but so, so worth it... Another good one? Why, of course! Hall Pass. Just read it. She also deserves a shoutout to being one of the most supportive readers in this entire fandom
#4
They haven't been on here long, but my tumblrverse would already be so incomplete without @ellethespaceunicorn! Not only did they write Treat Me Like A Slut, which has August just the way we like him; dominant and deep inside you, they also found it necessary to write Make That Kitty Purr. And I agree. It was necessary. Nevermind that my babyboy Mikey gets hurt, I'll forgive Elle for that because this shit was so fucking good.
#5
Next up we've got @peyton-warren, who only recently returned from a little Tumblr hiatus, and I thus haven't spoken that much just yet, but the drabble Arresting and Arrested should be enough to get you to take a look at the rest of her masterlist.
#6
Go check out @mayloma, creator of Behind The Curtain, which has a lovely August and some anal action - which means I'm always game! She's also very sweet. I know I haven't read much of her stuff, but if I ever get my act together and get reading again, Yenn assured me there's some Sy to check out here.
#7
It's no secret I don't particularly like my Sy's in the military, which makes it all the more impressive that @sillyrabbit81 wrote one that I did fall head over heels in love with! He's in Even if you don't mean it, and if you haven't read that, go do it now. And I do mean that. Then, perhaps my all-time favorite fic so far has to be The Fallen Wolves Brotherhood. Maybe I should elaborate on that, probably, but instead I'm just gonna say: Bikers. Proceed with caution, because when that next chapter hits, you're gonna have to pause Criminal Minds. I'm also going to leave the link to Prying here, because it's so fucking dirty it melts my brain a little every time I re-read it.
#8
Now, we all love seeing @angryschnauzer on our dashes, keeping things horny on main and yeeting the occasional fic into the dark void that is this hellsite. For instance Cuddles and Snuggles, an unholy combination of Mike and Charles - something that had never even crossed my mind - and a guest appearance from sugardaddy August. Mad perfection. Now my next rec for her may be a little odd, because she makes it very clear that it's a crack fic; Full Mast. I'm a sucker for everything pirate - and so is reader... just check out Part 2...
#9
@poledancingdinos amazed me with You've got me hooked, which has stripping and sex work and Sy, who is great. I think I read this entire (or almost entire?) series in a single night while I was in bed. Couldn't stop... She's also responsible for Soundtrack of Debauchery, which I still haven't finished, because my ADHD has been a bitch, but I started it, and it was very good!!!
#10
And last but not least: @littlefreya. I'm fairly sure there are still things on her massive masterlist I haven't read, and a lot of which I read in my pre- and early fandom tumblr days, and haven't reblogged (for which I apologize, by the way). The sheer vastness of her masterlist makes it a bit tricky to pick, but let's go for some delightful dark fics; The Devil's Tongue and Destroyer of Angels
SO: The challenge. If you're on this list (or if you're not on this list, this is an open invitation to everyone!) rec some fics! Write an essay, like this one, or don't. Toss a few names and some titles in a list and be done with it, that's fine. Recommend one, or ten, or twenty authors. Hell; Recommend yourself! Recommend your favorite artist, link some art! Spread the love!

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #89
I have had a very busy day today.
It started off with going to the good place with all the nice people to listen to the awesome leader there speak on various things. Today we thought about how our actions impact the world around us, and about how important it is to pay attention and to be brave, but at the same time, about how important it is to rest and to seek support when we need it. My brain is soup right now, so the words have crumbled and faded away, but the meaning remains. Every time I go there and come back, I feel a little more courageous and a little more connected to the world around me, at least for a little while.
On the way home, J and I stopped at Eggcellent for some bubble tea. It has been some time since I had been back there; it felt good to get a rose matcha latte. I wish I could bring you there; I think you would very much enjoy a lot of their selections.
Then, at around 2PM, my friend P and his sister J picked me up and we went to go see a concert called A Legend of the Opera. There was a little pamphlet that came with it, which had a summary of the plot in text form; I was unable to understand most of the social nuances involved with it, because I think I was missing a lot of the context. I listened to the music, and that was nice, but there were no lyrics printed, and I have Audio Processing Disorder, so I couldn't understand a word of what anyone was saying. But there were a lot of awesome people doing very impressive things on a stage - people whose voices sounded really nice, and people who have spent a lot of time learning how to play beautiful melodies on their various instruments, so even though I had no idea what was going on, it was still amazing to witness, and I'm glad that my friends thought to invite me!
P and J are older than me by at least three decades, I think. They have seen much during the course of their lives, and they are extremely well-versed in history, as well as a huge variety of movies, literature, music, and theater productions. Anytime we go see a concert, there is always lively snacks and discussion afterwards about the various media that exist and how they relate to the real world around us. Time with them is always enlightening.
I only got home not too terribly long ago, though. It is 11:14pm, and I've been out and about since 9am. I experienced a lot of amazing things today, most of which my brain is too soupy to be able to describe right now. But nonetheless, I wish you could have been here with me to see all these things. I wish I could show you live performances of the beautiful music in my world. I wish I could offer you a spoonful of the cinnamon, cardamom, and saffron ice cream that P, J, and I shared. I wish I could give you a BLT, or a bowl of Italian Wedding Soup. I wish I could include you in lively conversation with all of the wise and intelligent people I know. I wish… goodness… I wish you could see through my eyes, even if it's just for a little while.
…Heck, instead of just seeing through my eyes, I wouldn't mind at all if we could trade places. I know that your circumstances are ones of immense loneliness and suffering. And mine, at this point in my life, are very much not that. So if it meant that you could be safe, if it meant that you could be happy, if it meant that you could have a life full of beautiful, loving, gentle things with people who genuinely care about you, people who challenge your perspective, people who teach you things, people who make you think… I'd take your place in a heartbeat. Even knowing how your circumstances might end (because they ended in the worst possible way before; I hope you won't go down that path this time), I wouldn't even hesitate. You could have mine, and I wouldn't mind at all, because my friends love me, and so I know they'd take good care of you. And given how soft and kind and gentle and smart you are, I know you would learn how to heal and then thrive and take good care of them in my absence, too. I just know it.
Hey, Sephiroth? I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna end this letter here. Maybe soon I'll write some more about ACEs; there are more things to this rabbit hole that I didn't cover, but my brain is a bit too mushy to get into it now. So you gotta stay safe for next time, because there's still so much that you haven't seen, so much you haven't done, and so much that you still don't know. You can't disappear. Not yet. Please.
I love you and I'll write to you soon. Please make kind and gentle choices as you move forward into the future.
Your friend, Lumine

Questions 8 25 34 and 36
*claps hands together* alrrrrrrighty let’s do this:
8. If you could become fluent in one language, which one would you choose?
I am fluent in English and have spent a good amount of time studying German and Mandarin…. I think if I could choose just one I would choose fluency in Chinese as it has been a lot more challenging to learn all aspects of… with German the reading / speaking / writing / listening are all much more interconnected and easy since they use the same alphabet whereas with Chinese I’m much better at speaking / listening than I am reading or writing. Awesome superpower would be the ability to just acquire languages instantly - catch ‘em all like pokemon!
25. For lees, are you in lee mood right now? If so, what kind of lee mood is it?
I am in a lee mood like 70% of the time LOL but sometimes it’s MUCH WORSE THAN OTHERS lol I am definitely feeling tingly and lee-needy tonight ughHHHHHH
34. Share a line of lyrics that you like.
I’m sharing the ending of 2085 by AJR because it fucked me up mentally in a good way when I listened to the album for the first time and this part looped back to Maybe Man. Also it’s inspiring
“I wish I was me
Whoever that is
I could just be
And not give a shit
Hey, I'll be whatever makes you a fan
Cause I don't know who the hell I am
I think it's too late
To figure this out
If I could be me
I would have been it by now
Maybe I'm a stone
Or big as my house
It looks like our time is running out
So if this is me
Then I'll do my best
I'll take all the shit
So you never have to
You can be you
And I'll be the rest
Yeah maybe that's who the hell I am”
36. If you had to move to another country, which country would you choose?
I am from the USA but I did spend 2017-2019 working and living in China and it was an absolutely amazing and wonderful crazy experience. I would love to live overseas again some time soon! I have friends who are working in Spain, Thailand, New Zealand, and I’ve recently had my eye on Vietnam or Uzbekistan for some new adventures. I also would love to have a little farm house in Iceland.
I hope I don’t have to get old / retire in America, as our treatment of the elderly is pretty alarming at best… so at some point I would love to end up somewhere like Portugal or Singapore or some place nice and full of kind people.
Rec me more places people!!!! Where should I move next lol. Also- feel free to send me asks!

Hi, I just wanted to say your ask to Emungere is the reason I have fallen in to the Fedal rabbit hole - so thank you!! I would NEVER have looked them up if I'm not following the Hannibal fandom and her Tumblr. I know next to nothing about tennis in real life but two days ago I saw the hand holding and shirtless posts (among others) from you...My heart just goes to Rafa :D I am now completely converted and wanted to read/watch everything about them. Any suggestions where I should start? Thanks!
Welcome, anon!
Tumblr media
I just joined two months ago myself, so I'm new too, but so far everyone on tennisblr has been lovely. I've also delved headlong into Fedal, and there is a ton of great content you can sink your teeth into. I'll put everything I know in this long post, but tennis mutuals feel free to jump in with more recs!
Tumblr peeps
Cool people to follow on tumblr <-everyone on @hubillusion's list is awesome
@tennisandlife is another awesome blog to follow, even though they stopped posting in 2020. I literally spent 3 hours going through their archive, there is SO MUCH quality Fedal content.
@tennis-out-of-context is also fun, although it's not exclusively Fedal content.
Books on Federer and/or Nadal
Rafa: My Story by Rafael Nadal and John Carlin. A must-read for any Rafa fan. Rafa in his own words, through 2011. What I love most is getting Rafa's insights into his own game, his approach and preparation for matches, his journey.
The Master: The Long Run and Beautiful Game of Roger Federer by Christopher Clarey. Probably the most comprehensive Federer biography to date, published in August 2021. Clarey traces the development of Federer from boyhood to 2020 in an attempt to figure out the how and why of Federer. Along the way you get a lot of insights into Roger's game, his team, but Roger himself still remains somewhat inscrutable and untouchable. Not unlike the man himself. If you contrast this to the confessional approach in Rafa, where you actually get into Rafa's head, you could make the argument that the distance in The Master is due to the difference between biography vs autobiography, but I also think it's very fitting for Rafa's personality vs Roger's. Still, given the challenge of the task, Clarey does a commendable job in attempting to unravel Federer. A must-read for any Roger fan.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal: The Lives and Careers of Two Tennis Legends by Sebastian Fest (2018). This was the third book I read, and I assumed that it would retread much of the content from the other two books, but I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, the book rehashes many of the key moments in their rivalry, such as Wimbledon 2008, but it also covers a lot of the behind-the-scenes things that the other two books don't--things like the ATP Players Council and Roger/Rafa's political fallout in 2011-12, Rafa's knee injuries and treatments, how the anti-doping measures impact players, etc. A good supplement that gives an interesting view into the challenges of being a professional tennis player.
I haven't read the following yet, but I'm hoping to get my hands on them soon:
Roger Federer: The Biography by Rene Stauffer
The Roger Federer Effect: Rivals, Friends, Fans and How the Maestro Changed Their Lives by Simon Cambers, Simon Graf
Fedegraphica: A Graphic Biography of the Genius of Roger Federer by Mark Hodgkinson
(I love Rafa, but you can probably guess which half of Fedal comes out on top for me)
Fanfics
I'm not going to recommend specific fics, but rather favorite writers on AO3. Any Fedal from these writers is awesome, you can't go wrong.
Mystivy - everything from mystivy is the best. I just finished reading the "Joy" series, which is simply beautiful. Only parts 1 and 2 are written; part 3 looks like it was never posted so it's technically an incomplete series.
emungere - you know emungere, so no need for me to explain how amazing her writing is. "Wild Card" is the fic I needed when I first dived into Fedal. You must be logged in on AO3 to view emungere’s tennis rpf.
rilla - "The Long Experience of Love" is probably my favorite Fedal fic overall, even though it's an abandoned WIP.
Serenade - mostly ficlets, but each one is incredibly insightful and makes you go "oof."  “Tennis Is Not A Game You Play Alone” has my favorite line from any Fedal fic: Rafa met his gaze, dark eyes unreadable. "I would rather lose to you," he said, "than win everything in a world where you never exist."
eliane - I haven’t actually read any of eliane’s fics but I’ve seen multiple recs, so this is next on my to-read list. Must be logged in to read on AO3.
louise_lux - I also haven’t read any of louise_lux’s solo work, but I read the joint fics she co-wrote with emungere and they were fuckin’ hot. Also on my to-read list.
Video
Strokes of Genius - feature-length documentary of the 2008 Wimbledon final. You can find it on YouTube (here's one link but not sure it works. I watched it on these links: part 1, part 2, part 3) Also the Rafa and Roger bonus features.
Rafael Nadal Academy - 4-episode documentary series on Amazon Prime. Takes you into the daily life and operations of Rafa’s tennis academy in Manacor. You meet the staff there and follow the stories of 8 students who are pursuing their tennis dreams. And of course you see Rafa in the episodes too, but it’s primarily about the academy. I wish they would do a season 2.
The bazillion videos from 2017, 2019, and 2022 Laver Cup on YouTube. Fedal played doubles in 2017 and 2022, and were supposed to play doubles in 2019 but Rafa got a wrist injury.
Roger Federer: Everywhere Is Home: documentary of Federer’s 2019 Latin America exhibition tour, produced by ESPN: Vimeo
Roger Federer: The Reunion: documentary of the 2020 Match in Africa charity exhibition match with Rafael Nadal. Available for rent or purchase on Vimeo
NBC/Credit Suisse documentary about the art installation project that Roger was part of: Portrait of a Champion
Rafa Nadal Academy’s Instagram has tons of videos and photos of Rafa as well. Here’s a video about when Roger visited the Academy for its grand opening in October 2016. You can find other videos from the grand opening on YouTube, like the press conference and speeches.
I want to say that there’s a 20-min or 40-min documentary about Federer vs Nadal in the 2017 Australian Open produced by AO Films or something like that, but I can’t find it now. :( Maybe other tennisblr folks can help? Found it!
YouTube also has highlights or full matches online. I recommend 2008 Wimbledon final, 2017 Australian Open final, and 2019 Wimbledon semifinal, and their associated press conferences/interviews.
Miscellaneous
ASAP Sports Transcripts does the English transcripts of pre & post-match press conferences for multiple sports, including tennis. Here’s the archive of Federer’s press conference transcripts and here’s Nadal’s.
Rafa’s diary from his old website (copied by someone on LiveJournal for posterity).
I read somewhere that Rafa wrote a couple of tour diaries or blogs for the ATP tour way bay when as well, but I can’t find them. Tennis mutuals, any help? Is that the same as the link to Rafa’s diary from his old website?
Rafa Nadal Fans website - I haven’t really looked at this, but at first glance it looks like a ton of Rafa content.
Stalk Follow them on official social media accounts for Roger, Rafa, Severin Luthi, Rafa Nadal Academy, etc.
Tons of interviews and articles from major publications such as New York Times, Sports Illustrated, GQ, you name it. Just google “Roger Federer cover story” or “Rafael Nadal interview.” There’s also the tons of interviews and articles in Spanish, French (L’Equipe), German (Blick, Tages-Anzeiger), etc, some of which you can translate on Google Translate.

After a really long while i've read a book that's been so practical in my day to day life. And as a psychology enthusiast, all the research examples has been rather entertaining to learn about. Thanks to an amazing person for gifting me this amazing book. I do feel very awesome after reading it. Starting with identity based changes really makes me hopeful about the changes being permanent.
I've definitely become a person who reads. The frustrating amounts of time spent on daily commute becomes something so productive with a book to read. Carrying a book around has also made me the "she's always reading" girl which just feeds into my indie girl vibe. Am loving it.
I don’t pile up clothes in my room anymore. I just take the clothes that need to be washed and put them on the floor so it gets in my way and i'm forced to take them out. Making it unattractive has been working effectively.
I don’t wanna jinx this one,but i'm also becoming a diligent student who gets her classwork done on the day it’s given. Ofc it wasn’t easy, but i tried out a few ways and found out what works the best for me so far. My way of taking notes is writing questions in my classwork copy and answering them later that day at home. In this way, it feels like half of the work is done for me already, I just have to retrieve information from my brain (which is also a great memorization skill) and check it off from my to do list. It also keeps me attentive in the class and helps me make the most out of my time in college.
This next one i've been doing without actually knowing how it’s been helping me until I read the book; creating a flow state. Making a to do list which consists of smaller tasks, even if I think I can study one subject for more than 45 minutes or so,i'd still stop there cuz anything more than that can get draining for me. So to keep the balance of challenge and satisfaction, i'd move on to another subject/topic and keep the flow up.
One of my favourite concepts from the book was about environment designing. It's crazy how a simple change in the environment can completely cut something out/ make something obvious in your head. By moving the Quran in my room instead of the living room is making me pick it up way more often. I also keep it on top of my prayer mat so everytime I reach for the prayer mat I have to pick up the Quran and read for at least 10-15 minutes after prayer.
The two minute rule also works for the previous point. I'll be honest, thinking of reading a full surah does make me a bit lazy. But if i'm thinking "I'll just read one page" it gets me in the flow and I do end up reading more than one page everytime.
"The people with the best self-control are typically the ones who need to use it the least." This stood out to me the most from the whole book. Self control is often looked at as something that comes naturally to us. But seeing the book be real about the trap of temptation does make me look at "self control" differently now. "It's easier to avoid temptation than resist it" ties back to creating a favourable environment and making the cues of good habits obvious and the cues of bad habits invisible.
I didn’t know I had that much to write about this book. But writing at least three tumblr posts a week is also a habit i'm tryna build so yay for me. This book is definitely something timeless and i'll be coming back to it in a few years InSha'Allah.
And for those(a singular person) who care about numbers. It's a 9/10 from me.

I keep posting LOAOQLQ I'm kinda sorry anyway here's my review of all lbp story modes I've played. I just decided to put this here cos why not.
Gives context to my tier list
Tumblr media
So. I'm going to review the LBP games story mode who's I have played. Keyword, STORY MODE. Okay : )
Well. Let's start with LBP1 since it's the first one. The story is cute, us having to defeat the collectors. And we can all agree on that the aesthetic is absolutely amazing. The feel and the aesthetic is something I enjoy so much. It almost feels like you're in a dream (not as much as in milestone5 but ykyk). It doesn't really have characters we really get a feel into but quite a few of them are still endearing.
Curator one is the king with the gardens, arguably one of the most iconic and memorable areas in all lbp games for us fans. For me I also have quite the emotional connection haha and yes it does well enough at what it's supposed to do, be a tutorial.
The savannah (Zola) is probably my least favourite area. I still love playing through it though, I just don't enjoy the theme as much.
The wedding (Frida), first level is one of my favourites in the whole game. I love the theme! It's fun and Volver a comenzar makes me cry. I don't really like the level where you have to go around with Don lus dog, but I still really appreciate the area.
The canyons (Uncle Calapenis) is really awesome and super iconic. This is really where the game starts to spike in difficulty and still it's so enjoyable.
The metropolis (Mags) once again has one of the most iconic levels with the construction site. Atlas slaps and I love the level in general. I also quite like the theme. Once again, fun.
I can say the same about the islands (Sensei) and The temples (Magisian). They are challenging and fun. And pretty. Just perfect lol.
I really love The wilderness (tbe collector). It's challenging but really fun, I love the levels that come before the boss fight, and the boss fight itself is just fine :)
I find the ending a bit short? Idk I feel like they could have done something different to make it have more impact.
I think LBP1 story mode is almost perfect. It's fun, challenging, there isn't a moment in the game where I hope a level is ending fast, not a moment where I dread thinking about what worlds to come.
Now, ummm LBP2 yes... ehem.
I love that we have proper characters. I really love all of them for their own reasons and even the villain the Negativitron is awesome. They're all cute and have amazing personalities!! Yeah I could rave about them for hours.
Anyway. I enjoy the story mode, till Avalonia. LISTEN. The last time I ever played the story mode was when I got the game, which was in late 2012 I think. I couldn't finish the game because back then it was too hard for me, and through that I ended up in eves asylum since levels unlock when you play with others who already have them unlocked. Anyways, like a year or two after I assume I actually managed to finish the story, and not once have I played the actual story mode since then. Till today.
In my mind, the opinion that LBP2 was the best LBP game stayed in my mind. The story was perfect, the create mode was perfect bla bla. And that's the expectation I went on when I played it today. And uhmmm well let's go shall we?
I dont like the excessive robot usage. I was never a big fan of the controlinator controlled creatures, and god. Is there a lot of that in this game. Not my kinda thing at all. In a lot of levels I was just hoping it would be over soon, and that's not what I consider a good gaming experience in my eyes.
Anyway, that's just wjat I feel though, only I don't like that. And I know there are plenty people who are in love with the storymode, which I absolutely understand. I quite like the bossfight, and I love the story. It's big and messy and really nice ! But the story (game) isn't for me. I don't feel like replaying it. And I was happy when it was over.
I feel guilty I have to feel this way about LBP2 but I need to be honest. It's not my favourite, at all. And that's just how it is.
Now for LBPvita, its quite the cute game! The story is alright, sadly most of the characters are super forgettable. I like the themes and once again, the music is bangers. I had fun playing the story. I can't really say too much about it other than that it's a neat little lbp game!
LBP3 ... when I was younger yes I had spite. I was angry and upset because it was buggy. I said I hated the game and the story mode even though I hadn't even tried it properly. I said the music sucked and I didn't like the characters.
Admittedly I am not too mad at my younger self. We all were upset. Now. I bought the game on ps4 for the cheap price of 8 euros like two years ago? I just wantrf it for funsies. I never touched it much since it was still buggy and I didn't have the nerve to get into it, but last month I think I decided to try and play through the story, and open up to give the game another try.
The story is ofcourse, rushed. I've watched videos on both beta and alpha, and yes, A LOT was changed last minute, I'm talking months away from release. We all know the game was rushed by Sony, so no hard feelings towards sumo. From Prologe to Ziggurat the game feels fine, but in bunkum lagoon everything becomes so fast.
That out of the way, now you have to piece the story together yourself. In the beta some details were different that don't really fit the current version. So I'll just tell my interpretation. (Short). We have to save the planet Bunkum from Newton who has been possessed by the evil titans, which were locked away in a can ontop of stitchim Manor.
Different from other villains, Newton himself isn't intirely evil. He seemed to have unleashed the titans due to insecurity and wanting to impress his parents, not understanding the true power of the titans.
Anyway, we have to help stop the titans, safe bunkum and Newton. I really like the gameplay. Its fun! I like stitchim Manor, and I love manglewood.
Speaking of manglewood I didn't mention how I quite love some of the characters in this game too. We even can piece together deeper backstories for some of them which I think is very yum yum.
Anyway, manglewood. Fun. Not a single level i don't enjoy replaying. Speaking of replaying I'm also not talking about any of the levels that aren't the main levels because I played on Mt own and I couldn't play most of them.
Ehem anyway I love the theme of the ziggurat, even if I really hate that one level with the fire. (So hot, so sweaty ;)). I'm in general not the biggest fan of toggles gameplay. And for whatever reason the second titans fight is impossible for me. I can't see shit send help.
Bunkum lagoon is okay, the levels are so nice too. The Great Escape is my favourite level in the game, its fun and challenging. And tbe boss fight is very nice too.
Sadly, the ending feels so rushed. You feel literally no accomplishment after finishing everything. For me tbe fact bunkum lagoon as a whole including the ending being so rushed is just the most negative thing about it.
That being said, I must admit that it, along with LBP1 slightly above, is my favourite story mode. Younger me is turning in his grave.
Thanks for reading mwah

Quick announcement thingie 8: Life be like that sometimes
>Quick announcement thingie 7
More than a year since the previous quick announcement! Let's shoot for 2+ years next time lads.
Anyhow, life is hectic. The tl;dr is...
I don't have a job anymore lmao.
@lauraqwerty and I released A story told by the stars, which is a very nice game that you can play for free! If you like visual novels, give it a try.
Alongside friends, we organized the second edition of the Aaron's Awesome (Games Festival)! You can watch it on Youtube (although it's in Spanish).
In there I also released T.E.L, a free FPS which is quite decent, but I'm not really proud of.
Anyhow, that's the short gist of it. For the long explanation, read below... if you dare...
Okay, so I guess I should start with the 1st one. For the past two and half years-ish, I was working on a company that I cannot name for NDA reasons, as the main UI programmer for the game they were developing, and now I do NOT work there. Let's just say events happened and, ngl, I could be in a way worse position. For now I'll be taking some rest and, if everything goes fine, I'll be with a new job soon.
In the quick announcement 7, I mentioned we were working on a game called TWOgether. We tried to make it we the smallest scope possible, but even so the game became a bit too big and we were in a very busy situation, so we cancelled it.
youtube
Instead, we decided to go even smaller, and I had the chance to direct our 1st official project. It was an honor and alongside the amazing help of Lau, my friend and second half of our "studio", we ended up releasing A Story Told By The Stars, an hour long visual novel about two pals. I'm very proud of what we accomplished, and if you think you would enjoy it please give it a try. You can even play it on browser!
PS: When you finish the game, consider reading the postmortem, where we talked about the development process and challenges, among other things. Around 1k people have read it so far, so I must assume they enjoyed it.
youtube
On July 2022 I made the A3 (or Aaron's Awesome Festival), a quite cheap-looking direct where I displayed games from mainly friends, like a Nintendo Direct. And this year, with the help of a bunch more of my friends, including Lau, we made the second edition, the A3²!
I can confidently say that the event was a success, and I'm very happy that my friends and I were able to create something so cool. Since he's also on here, @narvalian did all the backgrounds and its animations you can see on the video.
youtube
And in that same event, I revealed AND made available T.E.L, which you can see the trailer above (a good one, if I may add). It's an FPS where you play as a young programmer stuck inside is own computer, where things happen. And, well...
...I'm not really proud of the game.
I do think it's a decent game, and I'm very happy that I managed to make some of the things that happen ingame, but T.E.L was going to be a game based around a joke with my friends that I have, and basically because I was lazy I wasn't able to make that and instead ended up making this effective, yet basic, first person shooter.
I had a lot, and I mean A LOT of ideas working into this game that I wasn't able to accomplish going into it, and instead of just saying "hey, this isn't what I want to do, so let's just stop." I just kept pushing and pushing, and I think the game reflects that.
Actually working on something I ACTUALLY want to do is something I want to become better at. Let's hope next time I write one of these I've actually improved on that.

No pressure to reply but!! How was frontiers? I've been seeing really cool clips from it but haven't looked too much cause I can't get it yet
(Also, hope you get better soonest!)
Hiii Frontiers was really awesome!!! I will give the disclaimer that I think it's very much a Sonic game for Sonic fans, I'm not sure if someone would enjoy it as their first Sonic game because like, if you're a Sonic fan you sort of know how Sonic works and handles and I think the game is counting on that.
The open world feels very intuitively designed, I never felt that lost or bored or locked out of something unreasonably. Sonic handles AMAZINGLY, I really felt in control of his movements and whenever I died it felt like my own fault rather than some fucky with the controls or camera or something.
I really like how like. There's tokens of progression (things like gears, keys, memory tokens) and you can get them thru gameplay (by clearing stages with a certain amt of rings, finding red star rings, clearing w S ranks, fighting powerful enemies) but you can also get them via fishing, which is a nice balance of not too easy and not too hard. That was def a struggle with Unleashed, where the sun/moon tokens were an absolute bitch to collect and mandatory for progression.
The super Sonic stages are INCREDIBLE. Super Sonic handles well in 3D and the music is amazing!!! You feel super powerful even though the bosses aren't mega easy.
Characterization is also really good. Ian Flynn was hired on as a writer for the game so that's probably why. They don't feel like empty caricatures and actually feel like characters with depth, and there's a lot of fun small references to other games without just being like "look! Nostalgia!" The story is really good and cool, definitely ambitious. I do feel like they could've been a bit more clear with it though, but maybe I'm just not good at picking up story.
The main thing I think I would change is that the mini games/challenges aren't easily replayable (the stages are, though) and the final final boss is really hard. It's not Sonic at all and is instead a weird bullet hell game? Also there's no captions for that part which is annoying.

hey look i'm actually posting again!
this week has been one that i am quite confused about. as like every week it seems it has been filled with ups and downs. my college work is going well but everything to do with my college life is getting me all stressed out beyond what i thought was possible. i've been trying to push through it all though. doing my work from home is fine. it's going well.
my lamda exam is next sunday which i am shitting myself about honestly. i know it will go okay but i am worried i won't end up passing or getting the best grade i could get. it's not ideal but i know it's because i am nervous. being nervous is to be expected. and i love performing in general.
i've been doing my lego and building my disney castle which has been awesome! i have made good progress which i never expected. i have been challenging my fears, such as my fear of dust that usually stops me from cleaning but i did it, i did some cleaning that involved dust and i am proud of myself for that.
i submitted some poetry i wrote to a competition and i hope it goes well but i don't mind either way it was quite nice to get back into writing poetry, it's so pretty and i have written some poetry in my past but i fell off the wagon for a while and during school we normally would just... analyse poetry. analysis of poetry and literature is amazing because it brings you into a different way of thinking. (i could wax poetic about it for eons but i won't).

Lankie's Bloodborne Boss Ranking Bonanza! (Part 3/3)
This is the final part of my Bloodborne boss ranking! You can find Part 1 here and part 2 here.
Spoilers for Bloodborne ahead!
Tumblr media
Sigh it's another beast fi - Wait a minute, this guy is a horse! That's cool! Already Ludwig differentiates himself form all other beasts by not being another big werewolf thing.
Narratively, Ludwig's fight is very good. Guy has been hyped up for the whole game, then when you finally find him he's just another mindless monster. But then phase 2 comes in and he pulls out the Moonlight Greatsword and fights you like a man! It's nice that there's this little moment of hope in such a bleak game. (fun fact: in phase 2 he no longer takes bonus damage from weapons that are good against beasts, very nice touch)
The fight is very tough, much like Logarius, he's got a move when he jumps straight up into the air to break your lock on, which I haaaaaaaate. Mercifully they give you an enemy that drops 5 blood vials every time you kill it right outside Ludwig's area. Kind of feel like that's an admission that the blood vial system is a little flawed.
Great first fight for the DLC though! Hope they're all this good!
Tumblr media
Oh noooooooooo.
It's a bunch of lump heads with a collective health bar, occasionally they'll stop to summon a bunch of meteors at you. What a thrill.
It brings me great shame to admit that I did die to these guys. I got 90% of the way through the fight and then they all ganged up on at the last minute. How embarrassing. ANYONE WHO DIES TO THE LIVING FALURES IS A LIVING FAILURE.*
The arena is cool though. I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds sunflowers kinda creepy. Any flower that can grow taller than a human is a little unsettling.
*ᴵ'ᵐ ᵏᶦᵈᵈᶦⁿᵍ ᶦᵗ'ˢ ᵃ ᵛᶦᵈᵉᵒ ᵍᵃᵐᵉ ʷʰᵒ ᶜᵃʳᵉˢ.
Tumblr media
Maria fucking rules.
I mean, what an incredible fight! She's challenging but not to the point of being frustrating. Then she's got the blood blades! And the fire! God, so awesome!
The intro cutscene is badass, she looks amazing with the outfit and the hat and the two-sided sword, the music is incredible. The whole package is just 10/10.
I don't really have anything else to say. It's the best fight in the game and one of the best fights in the entirety of all the Soulsborne games.
I hope the rest of the DLC bosses are this good!
Tumblr media
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
This guy really sucks! And it's entirely because of his 2nd phase where his whole body gets ripped in half and begins spilling lava everywhere.
When he gets to phase 2 to he just scrambles towards with like a 10 hit combo, and you get get behind him because he's constantly trailing fire behind him. It's very annoying!
But the worst thing by far is that he has a big slam attack that he'll charge up and then as soon as he's about to attack he will PIVOT AT LIGHT SPEED IN YOUR DIRECTION to take 80% of your health in one shot. Absolutely unforgivable.
He's also just a fiery Cleric Beast, which is lame. What a terrible boss, it belongs in the garbage. The First Vicar? more like first FUCKER.
Tumblr media
Many people for a long time upheld that Orphan of Kos was THE hardest fight in all of the Soulsborne games.
And lemme tell you, that is an accurate description!
This is one million percent the hardest fight in the game. I must of easily burned 300+ blood vials fighting this weird old baby! Luckily, I knew this was going to be a very hard fight going in and I have plenty of experience fighting the current reigning champion of ultra hard From Software bosses, Malenia. So I was mentally prepared to get in the mud.
Narratively its a cool fight, We've been hearing a lot about Kos (some say Kosm!) so it's pretty sad to see that it's just dead on the beach. You sorta forget that when fighting the Orphan that's it's a literal new born baby that's been immediately thrust into combat with a scary man with a big ol' saw. Makes you feel pretty bad for the boy.
That is until he beats you to death with his placenta 50 times in a row.
First phase is very hard, OK's got a lot of attacks that are fast and link into combos that'll kill you dead but it's phase two where things get whacky. Ol' OK, get's very aggressive and starts throwing a lot of meatballs at you. Plus you gotta have your head on a swivel for the lightning bolts coming out of Kos.
I really do like the ultra hard fights in the Soulsborne games. Nothing matches the satisfaction of finally overcoming such a difficult challenge. I mean, it fucking sucks when you in the middle of it, dying to Orphan of Kos' first 3 attacks, riding the elevator down, dying again, realising you're running out of blood vials and going to grind up some more.
But once you win, oh man, what a great feeling.
I'm glad that the DLC ended with such a great fight. Now lets hop back into the base game for the last 2 fights!
Tumblr media
Gee Gehrman it's pretty rude to ride in a wheelchair if you clearly don't need one. The man can jump 30 feet in the air and shoot blade beams for crying out loud!
Compared to OK, he's a walk in the park, took me 3 attempts to beat him. But it is a very cool fight, it feels very climactic and the arena is beautiful.
I kinda wish he was more present in the game so you could have a better connection to him in this fight, he just sorta hangs around the hunters dream near the beginning of the game and then shows up right at the end. Maybe if Gehrman was the one to level up your character, but then we wouldn't have the Doll. Everone loves the Doll.
Nice hat!
Tumblr media
The MoooOOOOOoooon Presence!
This fight happens directly after Gehrman with no chance to heal so I guess technically it's more like a phase 2 of Gehrman's fight than it's own unique boss fight. I never died to MP so I don't know if you have to fight Gehrman again if you lose to the fight.
Moon Presence is a freaky looking thing! I do like that it doesn't have a proper name. It's just 'Moon Presence'. Despite looking mighty intimidating, MP is pretty easy, they don't have much HP and their attacks are pretty slow. It does have a special 'reduce you to 1 hp' energy attack thing, but I had enough Vials to just power through that.
After beating Moon Presence you turn into a little slug guy. Hurray! I think!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And that's all the Bloodborne bosses ranked! In conclusion: I really liked Bloodborne! I can totally see why so many people consider it their favourite game of all time.
Even though I had watched someone else play through the whole thing years a go, It didn't ruin my enjoyment of playing the game for myself. Maybe I'll go back and actually play the Dark Souls games next!
Drawing and animating all the Bloodborne bosses has been a fun time too! Boy howdy am I REALLY BAD at drawing digitigrade legs!
