The red figure seen watching the Matoran from atop the hills and mountains of Mata Nui has been present since we first set foot on the island.
I have often seen him on the cliff above the Hall of Records in Po-Koro. I swear his armor looks shinier each time I see him, like it's slowly getting newer, somehow.
At first, some of us thought him to be one of the strange new types of Rahi that we have encountered here. Others thought that he was One of the Six Spirit Toa from the stories the Rahaga tell around the meeting-fire.
Rahaga Nokama has assured us that we would know when the Six Toa destined for our Island would arrive, and that this being was not one of them.
The Kai-Wahi Guard were never able to catch up to him. It was Kapura, of all people, who got the closest to him, but the red being still got away from him. Vakama just said Kapura had to practice more, whatever that means.
Whoever he is, he has not reappeared recently, ever since our newest Matoran, Takua, had been named my assistant and the new Chronicler.
Still, I feel as if he is here, watching us. Watching me.
...Even though I know he is not.

I know its Nano, but due to academia, I might just spend the month revamping and giving small revisions two Mata Nui island stories that I put online 8-10 years ago. Trying to finish some old storylines, and I think these stories need to be re put back out there

AU where immediately after grabbing the Kanohi Avohkii out of the lava Takua promptly fumbles, drops it again, trips while trying to catch it, and then proceeds to face plant directly onto the mask.
Search for the seventh Toa speedrun complete :P
“But I can still compete in the kolhii match, right?” he asks, causing Jaller and Vakama to both just immediately facepalm themselves. Vakama resigns himself to substituting Kapura in his place; he either takes the entire match to move a single step or he does his quick travel thing and wins in under ten seconds.
Either way, Vakama is completely exasperated by the day’s events and 10000000% done.

Decided to pick a Bionicle character for each of the Major Arcana
The Fool - Takua/Takanuva
Simply put, Takua and Takanuva manages to be the centerpiece of many events in the BIONICLE lore, giving him the biggest Protagonist Energy, complete with the "Coming of Age"/"Trans Allegory" bit with the Mask of Light.
The Magician - Vakama
Spiritual leader, with visions of the future, a perfect candidate for being the "conduit of the divine", connecting the spiritual realm with the material one.
The High Priestess - Nuju
Being the one who reads the stars for prophecies and premonitions and keeping a Prophecy Wall in Ko-Koro, Nuju fits this one very well IMO.
The Empress - Artakha. Alternatively: Onewa
A being of great creative potential.
The Emperor - Turaga Dume
Specifically because he's the face of authority in Metru Nui.
The Hierophant - Whenua
Was struggling with this one, but I think Whenua fits since he's an Archivist, who likes for things to be in Order and is concerned with the preservation of the past.
The Lovers - Toa Hewkii and matoran Macku
Represents their over-arching relationship and its persistence despite all of the adversities thrown at them by Makuta and, later, Velika.
The Chariot - Kapura
Somehow, he managed to learn to fast travel by being slow, methodical and persistent.
The Strength - Jaller
This is very straightforward: Jaller is a natural leader.
The Hermit - Toa Lesovikk
On the long journey to forgive himself, to get rid of internalized stigma imposed by both his own conscience and the societal ostracization.
Wheel of Fortune - Toa Lhikan
Both the one who guided (with difficulties) the Toa Metru to thwart Makuta's plans, and the one whose Mask served to shape Jaller.
The Justice - Velika
He threw the self-awareness switch, for better or for worse, and that decision eventually will come back to bite him in the ass.
The Hanged Man - Matoro
His was the necessary sacrifice.
The Death - Toa Tahu
The first Toa we see in MNOG, the ominous figure in the smoke, and a symbol of major change in the lives of the matoran of Mata Nui.
The Temperance - Makuta Teridax
His plan to overtake the Matoran Universe certainly required a lot of patience and moderation, and he had it in spades.
The Devil - Ahkmou
One of the most mercantile Matoran you'd ever encounter, he has been on his path to ruin way before Makuta - literally - fished him out and brainwashed him.
The Tower - Tren Krom
Meeting Tren Krom is what fundamentally changed the Makuta's concept of the universe and prompted him to formulate his Great Plan.
The Star - Keetongu
This intelligent being counters the effects of the Hordika Venom, and in general considered to be a great healer. He helped the Rahaga to regain their Toa forms.
The Moon - Axonn, specifically: Kanohi Rode
The ability to see past illusions, literally being called Mask of Truth.
The Sun - Matau/Lewa/Pohatu
Honestly, any character that shows optimism and being the alleviating force among their respective friend circle.
The Judgement - Toa Ignika
The consciousness in the Mask Of Light got inspired by Matoro's courage to take an active role in its own fate.
The World - The Great Spirit Mata Nui
Unsurprisingly, perhaps. From being the entire Matoran Universe in himself, to being the centerpiece of matoran faith and creed.

I can't be the only one who likes to imagine the Chronicler's Company as the next Toa team, right?
Since a Matoran's ideal of a Toa influences what they look like when they become a Toa they each have a different style.
Toa- Kanohi- Style- Weapons- notes
Kapura -Kualsi -Hagah -Twin Pyro Daggers
Macku- Kakama -Mahrii -Tidal Trident -The kakama has a water breathing device similar to the Mahrii
Hafu -Kiril -Inika -Carvers Hammer- The Hammer is a big big hammer with a head that comes off to reveal another hammer inside. The head then doubles as a backpack for his carving tools
Taipu -Ruru - Metru- Terra Drill Lance
Tamaru- Volitak- Mangai- Rhotuka Launcher on the side of his right arm and two Kanoka Wind Shredders (Kanoka Launchers with blades attached) as well as a Volo Lutu Launcher on his left arm/hand (basically a bionicle version of the Predator)
Kopeke -Rode -Mata/Nuva - Arctic Axe

Tamaru - long handled hammer (to bonk the oldbone and bogfoot)
Kopeke - flat chisel longsword (a rapier more or less)
Hafu - duel pickaxes (double the perfection)
Taipu - iron caber (a big metal log to toss and hit people with)
Kapura - flame sai (he came from behind, like a whisper)
Macku - duel headed oar staff (boating is COOL)
Takua - a mirror buster sword (to reflect his own light and show others their own)

Another thing about having the Chronicler's Company become a toa team...
Is the custody battle that breaks out between the Company and the Toa Nuva on who gets to claim Takanuva as their seventh member about 5 minutes after he poké-evolves into an av-toa.
"He was our teammate first!"
"Then why's he Takanuva then?"
Of course it's mostly Tahu, Lewa, Macku, and Hafu doing the arguing, with the other toa kind of awkwardly shuffling around on the sidelines.
Inevitably this drags on right up until (years later) Hewkii slaps Taka on the back and calls him an honorary Mahri.
Then all karzahni breaks loose.

Kapura, Toa of Fire
