i don't feel nearly as ashamed or hesitant to talk about my queer tgirl attraction to men as my tguy brothers would feel talking about their attraction to women
obligatory "if you're a trans guy and your attraction to women is het, that's real and okay! your trans experience isn't a monolith and other trans people being different doesn't make you different or wrong"
like, think about it: hardly anyone bats an eye when a tgirl uses grindr or calls herself a faggot, but as soon as a man calls himself a lesbian, everyone gets on his ass. anything for an excuse to shit on lesbians, i guess. it makes me angry that nobody sees this hypocrisy or these ties back to the lesbian separatism that infected the community post-70s. it's not gone, it never went away
this isn't exactly profound news to anyone who gives a shit about lesbian history. just something i find interesting

I think I'm starting to understand why adults talk 'about the weather' with each other and nothing else. As kids you have shit in common, you go to the same school, you watch the same cartoons, you play the same sports but as adults people change so much. You no longer have the same hobbies, you don't go to the same job, you barely have time to connect to people or pay attention to other shit going on in life but we still wanna connect. I still want to have a moment of talking to another human and getting a response in return, a little feedback of 'yes you're here and I return your attempt at connecting'. So you talk about the weather, cuz we're all experiencing the weather and it's less depressing than capitalism or the other horrors.

Imagining Crowley getting lonely without Aziraphale since he went back to Heaven and adopts a little kid who's parents are no longer around.
He spends forever with this kid, and they grow up into a sweet thing, knowing all these stories about this weird angel and all the laughs and smiles he gave Crowley before the kid was around.
But then Crowley has to watch this kid age, and he can't help but think that somehow, no matter what, everyone he cares about leaves. If by force or option.
This kid's on their deathbed, and Crowley doesn't look a day over 48, and when their kid leans in for a last hug, Crowley sobs.
"Will I meet him? The angel?" The kid asks softly, knowing now more than ever they would not fight the idea of either their parent or the strange mysterious man being ethereal.
"I hope so," Crowley whispers, knowing that if anyone could feel love radiating from the kid up in Heaven, it would be that pompous bastard.
But then in Heaven, Aziraphale is bombarded by these incoming messages from the other angels. All about this one soul who won't stop telling stories about him.
When Aziraphale goes to see what the fuss is about, he meets the kid Crowley raised, and he breaks down as well as he's told every story about himself. All from Crowley's perspective.

listen. to my little thoughts.
baron’s existence to me reads as SAD. i get it like we’re all ‘oh bad YIKES CREEPY DOLL JONATHAN COULTON EW’ but to me they read as that fun little aroace grief—the desperation to hold onto riz is familiar to me in the sense of ‘if i can’t force this to work for me, what else IS there?’ they’re unhinged & terrifying but when you consider it in the context of a being who has nothing else, it feels… different!!!
it’s profoundly lonely. like they’ve said, there are ONLY three things about them that are true. so why do you exist? because of riz. what do you love? riz. if he’s gone, what do you have left?
…well, damn, looks like we gotta die together.
and like, it isn’t riz’s fault. he doesn’t owe them anything. it isn’t his fault that he just so happened to be the ONE person whose ‘yeah i’m dating someone you don’t know them they go to another school’ lie spiraled well beyond his control, nor does it excuse baron treating him in…. Such A Manner.
man i just deeply hope the bad kids do not HAVE to kill baron. like please not my lil guy i have so much left to project on him 😭

Businessmen working for illumination sit at a long table, deep in contemplation. A young man at one end of the table pushes his seat back with a screech, before he stands tall in front of a whiteboard.
“Everyone loved the grinch, right?”, he asks rhetorically. All the other men watch attentively from their seats, anticipation beaming through their eyes, as the young man continues.
“But there is one issue”, he continues, “the grinch must be a twink!”
The table bursts into rapturous applause, and the young man is promoted to CEO of Illumination

I'm sorry I'm watching the act 4 vod right now and I jaut had the worst audio processing brain lag. I listened to Tommy say some gibberish garbled word noises that im pretty sure was supposed to be a sentance and I couldn't understand a word of it but I fully understood Gordon responding with "yeah its like that".

The 'just move to a different website' crowd really is annoying the shit outta me. Imagine a website as a public park: The park is made, the park attracts people, people start using the public park. So many people start using the public park some people decide to set up shops around the public park. Little donut stands or an art stall or a clothing shop. Things work well around the public park, people from the park stay there and walk around and see new shops and businesses they haven't seen in any other public park. The park and the 'town' around it is now fairly popular. Now the new shitlord moves into the public park and owns it and starts banning people and asking entree fees and doing all sorts of dumb shit. Literally everyone in the park hates the choices he's making. Telling people to just 'move their business' is fucking difficult. People are used to going to the park, everyone who leaves moves do 7 different towns, starting shops in all 7 new towns costs an amount of energy which is exhausting to keep up with. All other parks are run by similar soulless shitlords who can also on a dime decide to start doing the same dumb inspired shit the shitlord from park number one is doing. Some people move from the park and don't decide to follow the businesses they like again. It's exhausting and frustrating and telling people to 'just move' is unproductive. And yes I am aware you shouldn't put 'all your eggs' in one basket but every basket that's 'good' will rot the second a platform gets successful enough to attract a new shitlord. And to attract an audience making your own website is even fucking harder. What we need is to acknowledge the internet and social media isn't just entertainment for many people it's their sole source of income and just 'moving' when your entire customer base scatters to 7 different platforms is really difficult.
