Idc if im the asshole tbh but I think this is funny. I (15F) am a hero intern for this fairly big company, think superhuman secret society typa shit.

The thing is because I'm more of a "in the chair" hero, I spend a fair amount of time in the Headquarter's lab. My work load swings between nothing to fucking do and non-stop crisis mode.

Somedays I literally can't afford to take normal breaks and go home This facility, despite all the money we get, is held together with a paperclip cyber-security wise (and security wise. there's one them that lowkey be stealing but i aint a snitch okay). We do have an AI program (she's great, love her) but she's hella overworked too and essentially babysits the boss in the field, in his personal life, etc.

So forgive me if during the brief moments of peace, I happen be playing the sims. I never use the work monitors for this and the AI is fully aware that this is how I take my "breaks" and is FINE with it.

But one day the boss randomly walked in while I was busy browsing some hair options and lost his shit. "Something, something, anomoly" I don't even remember what he said, all ik is he was growling n shit over my shoulder with his stank ass breath. I didn't even think he was mad at ME fr-- he's just unhealed like that, so i let that shit go this time.

i leave to grab lunch rq and come back. day goes by normally. but when i log back into MY PERSONAL COMPUTER, my shit was gone.

Obviously ik it was him. No one else cares enough to do anything like that. So i go confront him. And of course that villianous ass bitch is cracking a smile talking bout some "you can play dress up at home,". like NO???? SIR I NEVER GO HOOOMMME. IM HERE ALL THE TIME???

keep in mind i do NOT get paid for this. the most i get is experience and a therapy session on Wednesdays, thats it.

unhealthy yes, but he knows that i care about this work and he def knows my home life isn't the best anyways. so idk why he was being so petty about it.

but since we're being petty now of course i had to go lower.

he has this lil hologram suit. it's cute or whatever, super secure. but i just asked his AI for a favor and she let me go ham on the programing.

everytime the program detects his heartrate above a certain level, his costume will change. i have it cycling through a few options, but the bunny suit has been a fan favorite lately.

he's pretty pissed about it and ik he suspects me, but he doesn't want to admit that i somehow got into his superfancy tech and embaressed him. so its a lot of passive aggressiveness and for sulking now. everytime he changes it, i change it back and then some. it's fun.

it has also become a growing meme in the work gcs, tho some of the heros have tried to scold me about it. but tbh idc. none of the costumes impede his work, if anything the distraction helps him catch villians off guard. so pretty harmless, i could do worst. so im taking suggestions on how to keep ruining his day until i get bored of it (or till i get all my cc redownloaded).

Hey thanks for the ask!!!!!! 5 How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want? I suppose it really depends. To be honest, when it comes to people just saying 'no you can't have this, no you can't do this, ect.' that's it for him. He'll just shrug and leave because most things he just can't be bothered with. He's a very 'eh I would rather not be here anyway, so idc much' type of guy when it comes to basic stuff. But when it comes to more complex things like faction problems, his medical studies, protecting people/things he loves and cares about, things like that, he becomes a lot more focused and driven. He goes way beyond what you'd expect from someone who usually just gives up, even compared to others who are normally much more driven. Infiltrating the Institute for the Railroad, fighting against the Brotherhood, those are things people who aren't willing to say 'fuck life, I will succeed regardless of the cost' will do! Nick was also a big driver in his development of not giving up so easily, since Nick is so incredibly driven and doesn't give up. Jay's life changed dramatically after being drafted and being shot in the head, and he lost all of his will to live, and his late/ex husband didn't make it much easier for him. He continued that way, and worsened after the bombs fell and he lost everything, until meeting Nick. Nick's incredible perseverance really inspired him.

10 What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC? Tbh I don't think much about au's, but I do design many different universe Jay's for other games. I just typically leave it at that :') With the exception of the more mutated plant Jay, but since that's still in the Fallout universe, I don't think it counts for a very out there AU lol That one is the most developed 14 How does your OC want to be seen by other characters? Ideally not at all XD (with exception for Nick of course 💖) He loves just being alone/with Nick. He's a local cryptid to most people. In terms of character though, he hopes people see him as someone who is kind, and willing to help if needed, and someone who you can go to if you need comfort. (not just because he is very nosy and craves all the knowledge of other people's dramas rip Jay you would love wife swap. He doesn't participate in the drama he just watches with snacks).

He also hopes Nick sees him as his incredibly sexy and amazing giant plant husband (he does) 25 What is your favorite thing about your OC?

That's a difficult question tbh. I love everything about him of course. But I think what I really love is that he is able to let go of his anger and live in peace with things that have happened in the past, even despite not forgiving or forgetting bad things (not everything deserves to be forgiven and forgotten,). That's a lot easier to write for a character than it is to do in real life. I'm proud of him! Also he's very handsome :)

Also he's fucking 6'5 married to Nick and has his own house and a giant pet frog god I wish that was me

I don’t like peter enough to like, have actually created thoughts about him outside of my overall perception and how he treats other characters 😭 so im skipping him. BUT, for Jack-

-Overall opinion of them: light of my life he means everything to me. I know I say this for a lot of characters because a lot of characters mean everything to me but Jack does hold a very special place in my heart and that place is helping me accept liking men. His only flaw is being a 70s character because I keep forgetting how much I hate reading the word vomit of older comics and it’s one of the main things why I haven’t been able to finish ALL his appearances yet but godamn I will one day

– Gender/sexuality headcanons: GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I refuse to see Jack as anything but gay he is into men he loves men len kaminski didnt write jack not finding girls attractive anymore for people to think he wants a GIRLFRIEND. Also has trans man and leather gay swag

– Favorite moment in canon: there’s a lot of them but probably this entire like epilogue panel from Len Kaminski's “Children of the night” and especially the line “I am something unique and wonderful.” Snif snif okay gayboy!!!

– Favorite moment in a fanwork: none because Jack ain’t got fucking fans 😭😭😭😭😭 IG this one like traditional drawing I saw one time where it was jack smiling hanging out with the midnight sons that was cute 🤔

– Favorite line, in canon or otherwise: Reiterating again here the line above ^ “I am something unique and wonderful.”

– Characters I love seeing them interact with: Jack unfortunately doesn’t interact with a lot of people but TBH even though he's seen as a meme rn I actually really really love Jack's friendship with Morbius the living vampire I think they’re such an incredibly endearing pairing they’re literally boy best friends in love forever. They've tried to kill each other five times. Also that one arc where he meets Danny Ketch ghost rider and it feels like He's giving him gay advice the entire time is funny LMAO I wish he got to interact more with some of the larger marvel universe and other horror themed characters like Blade he like kinda gets slotted in a box of only getting to interact w ppl who show up in anything he's also in syndrome

– Last thing before sleeping headcanons: IDK what the fuck this one means. Howl at the moon perhaps for fun

– Sleeping habits headcanons: Insert Howling at the moon here too. This is kinda based on one story he was in but I think Jack also is a very extreme late night snacker

– First thing after waking up headcanons: I- I guess go to the bathroom get cleaned up????? Like a normal person?????? I dont get these last few questions but okay fine whatever

– Favorite locations headcanon: Jack tends to travel a lot in my experience but I imagine he's probably fond of his hometown still as well as any sort of very lush, forested area. Probably places with a lot of gas stations and car/bike culture too because he was like a literal biker in the 90s. They should let Jack go back to Romania I bet he'd fucking love it there. Chilling in the mountains you know

EXPERIENCE :

how long (months/years?): on tumblr, this is year 10. in total, around 20.

how’d you start: back in the day there were these things called shrines, and any good one had a chatbox embedded in its sidebar. some people would leave regular normie comments, but other people would, say, fill in the name field with something like “goku” or “kagome” and in the message field, they’d write a statement as though they were that character. this was my first exposure to RP. my initial messages were as zria/zorya from shaman king.

MUSE PREFERENCES :

female or male: in terms of OCs, i skew heavily female. why? idk maybe they’re nicer to look at. in terms of canons, i skew heavily male, because there is a distinct shortage of appealing female characters. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

favorite face: i have so many fcs for so many muses not even on tumblr, but if i restrict myself to the on-blog muses, it’s definitely this cherub. i don’t think it hits the same without context, because i’ve tried showing the scene to others and they haven’t had the same reception, but this is one of the most beautiful moments i’ve seen in a manga in a long time.

fluff, angst or smut: i mean. does it really come down to candy, sex, or sadness? do people not write about other things? i’m more or less okay with any of those, but you know what i never see on tumblr anymore? adventures. mysteries. plot-based things instead of little character vignettes. i’m not opposed to those, but sometimes you can’t help craving something a little more substantial...

plots or memes: i want to plot more with people, but nothing ever pans out ): historically, i guess i’d prefer memes just to break the ice or generate ideas, but my inbox has been a little sparse lately...

are you like your muse(s): i mean, if you voltron them together, of course something will hit. everyone puts at least a little bit of themselves into their writing. the human ego is too persistent for a writer to be totally divorced from their work, etc, or something.
