thoughts on:
bruce is a paladin bc he fights for an oath, and protects his children with both healing and sword.
dick is a ranger? idk it seemed cool and i think dick would wanna be robin hood ha
jason is a bard bc he wants to kill people with words, and viscous mockery can be a cantrip and it is hella funny to say "perish" and have someone die bc of it.
babs is a wizard? bc like, learns magic thru books and studying and she kinda does that as oracle and batgirl? im not 100% sure of this tho
tim is 100% a rogue but only bc he desperatley wants to be cool.
steph is a monk, i read the description about monks giving up their previous structured calm lives to become adventurors and idk i think it kinda fits steph really well after everything she went thru? also the dnd website picture for a monk has flowing hair like i imagine stephs lol
damian is a druid bc he wants to beastshift and also throw people with vines. either that or he lost or a rock paper scissors with tim over being the rogue.
cass could be a cleric? bc she wants to take care of everyone she loves and its cool to do that with radiant power and blast every bad thing with guiding bolt.
duke as a sorcerer bc he got his powers thru a bloodline lol.
idk thoughts? kinda want to draw the gang as dnd characters now

#anyways the problem with the copyright on batman expiring is that only the copyright on the original comics does#so you cant use aspects from later comics#and also not things that are trademarked like the batman brand#like for example if in 2035 i make a batman comic id only be able to use the characters character design etc from the early comics#so i wouldnt even be able to feature alfred until like 30 years later#bataranswers

Gotham is probably one of those places with absolute shit weather. so what if Bruce is one lf those dads who will barbecue whenever the **slightests** hints of sunshine show?
Wayne manor is also on an island so its probably super windy as well
Keeps a little umbrella over the grill to keep the rain from hitting it, only for it to almost get carried away by the wind
no, bruce picks dates in the calendar and sends invites by e-mail and no matter the weather, he will grill. he's stood outside getting soaked by the rain while holding a giant umbrella over the grill.
(sidenote, wayne manor is in bristol, which is the mainland, gotham is an island though)

the bruce cant cook thing is so annoying bc like bruce is overprepared and probs learned basic survival skills like cooking in the off chance that hes in a situation without access to alfred/ anyone else who can cook, man can probs put together a edible, nutritional meal, whether he can be bothered to learn to make food taste good rather than just edible is the real question
this is my point exactly. but i personally believe the 'bruce cant cook' thing also points to a wider issue in fanon where flaws are disregarded and replaced by meaningless things like '[character] can't cook' or '[character] enjoys [insert food or other banal thing] very much'.
in a fic where bruce can't cook, or tim enjoys coffee more than life itself, or dick will fight anyone over his cereal, flaws like bruce's struggle with expressing himself emotionally, his not-so-good relationship with his kids, him pushing the people he loves away? all of these things are just not there. everything is perfect- except, oh yeah bruce can't cook.
it turns this group of people, this family, that is inherently dysfunctional and reduces them to very little and then goes 'aahhaha BUT he can't cook' and i despise that bc most people don't even do it intentionally, it's just common in the fandom so people just do it. without realising that it also kind of waters down their work.
