The Atlantic publishing a paper saying that the genocide in the Congo [which has killed and displaced MILLIONS of Black folks] is a win for climate change is so, so dehumanizing and anti-Black.
If the genocide of Black folks, of African folks anywhere around the globe is a "win" for climate change in your book, then your climate change is white supremacy and when you run out of Black and Brown folks to sacrifice for your comfort, there will be nothing left worth saving.

Don't be a pendant and a hypocrite. On the one hand you always accuse Israelis of being Europeans (European Jews who lost two thirds of their population) and now you are pretending Israelis (almost 75% Jewish) were affected by holocaust is a lie. And if you are going to deflect by pointing out that Israel has unequal wealth distribution (like literally every other country in the world) to criticize Israel, meanwhile Hamas has a revenue of hundreds of millions of dollars and their leaders are billionaires yet Gazans rot in poverty. And there's a difference between Israel attacking Hamas targets hiding among civilians too take them out vs Hamas attacking Israeli civilians because they want to genocide the Jewish population. You don't understand the difference between war and genocide and everytime someone points out the double standards you tokenize a few Jews to keep doing the hypocrisy.
i wrote a whole thing but tumblr glitched out and honestly someone as dishonest as u doesnt deserve my time so let me summarise
true: israel was formed by european jewish people, and zionism is a european ideology.
false: israel was formed by holocaust survivours
also false: zionism was formed by holocaust survivours
also false: zionism was an ideology that came as a result of the holocaust
true: there are holocaust survivours & their descendants who live in israel today
false: the holocaust was an attack on israelis, a group of people who didnt even exist when the holocaust was ongoing
true: a huge percentage of the european jewish community was killed in a genocide (the holocaust)
false: a huge percentage of the israeli population, who again didnt exist as an entity during the holocaust, were killed in a genocide.
to anyone with two brain cells to rub together, theres an obvious distinction between claiming israel lost 2/3rds of its population to the holocaust and claiming european jewish people, many of whom are not israeli, lost 2/3rds of their population to the holocaust. the former is intentionally misrepresenting history to justify an ongoing genocide, the latter is the reality of the situation.
when you can only justify israel by pointing at hamas, then you’ve already lost. i already oppose hamas, so your counterargument doesnt work. if the bar is so low that you can only justify yourself by pointing to an extremist islamist group then perhaps you already know how morally decrepit you & your genocidal movement are. dismissing the same holocaust survivours you pretend to care for by saying its mere “income inequality” that 1/3rd of holocaust survivours in israel are impoverished shows exactly how much you care about holocaust survivours. its beyond sick using survivours of a genocide to justify another genocide, while proving that you actually dont care for those survivours to begin with.
hamas didnt exist when israel raped and massacred and expelled palestinians in 1948. it doesnt exist in the west bank, where thousands of palestinians were kidnapped & 100s killed & thousands displaced due to settler violence that is backed by the IDF. israel choosing to attack UN buildings, schools, residential buildings, hospitals, and the same “safe routes” they tell palestinians to do to with no attempts to minimise civilian casualties isnt somehow justifiable when you pretend its all done to get hamas. israel killing palestinians and injuring many more in 2018 when palestinians protested peacefully cant be justified by hamas. starving all of gaza and withholding water & fuel & electricity cant be justified by hamas. several israeli politicians outright calling for the genocide of palestinians in gaza isnt somehow justified bc of hamas.
“few jews” please keep pretending like jewish people are all pro-genocide and occupation while pretending like im the unreasonable one here.
people like you who justify genocide in the face of this much evidence are monsters, plain & simple. you are disgusting.

God i felt like i was crazy when all these ppl keep saying boycott starbucks meanwhile there was never any proof that starbucks supported isreal and so i went to research AGAIN and found that they dont even have stores in isreal and ppl are literally boycotting the wrong things like ive been saying for months this is insane. Tiktok is rly bad for spreading misinfo but holy shit. And this reddit thread basically put my thoughts into words and in the first comment someone replies saying they like to support their local union starbucks cuz if they can get their roots in then that gives us hope for other fast foods to get unionized too (and they should!!!!) And even links a map to the unioniozed starbucks around the country and i live close to one which im v happy about.
Like u can boycott them for union busting and other legit reasons but isreal isnt one of them and i never understood why boycott them so strongly but not the ones causing literal actual harm with military financial aid and destroying the internet security i gaza like mcdonalds and pizza hut are??? Pls focus on the right things here ppl this is actual insanity.

i got less than 1 hour of work done today (was aiming for 5-6) because I was too stressed out and frazzled from reading about/watching the ongoing genocide and also because roommate #2 came home today from their holiday travels and all day I could hear them hacking up their lungs through the wall. I texted them and asked if they minded taking a covid test, and they said they'd taken multiple over the past 24 hours and all were negative, but like. with the amount of false negatives on the rapid tests these days, even when people are symptomatic, that does NOT reassure me!! I've been holed up in my room with a flannel stuffed in the door crack, air filters blasting, wearing an N95 in common areas, but jesus fucking christ this is taking all my ability to focus and leaving none left over for my job. that i need to do. because i am precariously poor. and i need to buy food so i can eat. and pay rent so that i don't freeze to death. and pay for my medical and phone and other bills. etc.

Not to start catradora discourse on main but I think my issue with catradora is that y’all wanna see it as a healthy cookie cutter relationship so bad but when it is even in canon it’s so boring and ignores literally everything that happened between them to paint the brush of ‘happy wife happy life’ over it. Like is catradora toxic? Sure I guess by my standards. Is that still fun to see? Absolutely to me. Anyways when it comes to catra as a character my issue with the redemption thing was that catra was always in self preservation mode and extended that to adora; so when her self preservation and protection of adora clashed it fucked her up heavily (see the entire series). But later on when she realized the horde wasn’t shit for her, her self preservation and connection to adora could not only coexist but actually meshed well perfectly and that’s what created the circumstances for her to join the alliance. The issue with that is that nothing in there spoke for catras morality or own moral code. It seemed like to me at any point in the series right up until her own safety and power was genuinely threatened if adora decided in her right mind to join the horde again, catra would be right along with her. And nothing in the final convinced me otherwise which is why I have issue with ppl saying her redemption arc was good or glimmer should’ve forgiven her or whatever. Like again I think that’s FUN! Catra not really caring about the world or humanity, but I think the best endings would’ve either been her actually growing to care (and not just switching sides at the literal last minute when she had no other choice and never reflecting on what she did past hurting adora) or it just being acknowledged that she’s like that and moving on.
