Only Friends Episode 9 | Ray/Sand Kisses "I've never been so crazy for anyone."

What can I even say??! Their kisses this episode were absolutely heartachingly beautiful - raw, passionate, yearning, but also tender too. I have a tonne to say about THE SCENE. But one of my favourite kisses was actually Ray snuggling into Sand and pecking him on the cheek. It made my heart clench.

Khaotung and First absolutely went for it. If this is the 'steamiest NC scene' everyone was referring to, I see why.

YEEEEEEES KARASU X MC X MEPHISTO (you and the anons of this blog are so big brained omg)

yes, I am obsessed with that last anon. they inspired me to talk about an idea I've wanted to write about for aaaages.

I don't think we know Mephisto's official sin attribute yet but I'm guessing it's either Pride or Envy. since I usually imagine the demons with a primary and secondary sin, I've written Mephisto having some combination of Pride/Envy, Envy/Lust or Pride/Lust.

basically, I think Mephisto and Karasu would compliment each other well. Karasu is level-headed and logical whereas Mephisto might be more impulsive and emotional and outspoken. they both wear masks around people they don't like or trust. it might be hard to know the real them unless they decide to show you the parts of themselves no one else really sees. I imagine Mephisto has more relationship experience than Karasu does but they're both passionate and attentive in their own ways. oh, and they're both going to spoil you rotten so now you have two sugar daddies taking care of you instead of one. I assume Mephisto still lives in his family's ancestral home with his parents and brother, but for private time away, there's always Karasu's nest.

also, I just love the idea of reader/MC making connections and meeting friends/lovers in the Devildom that aren't just the current dateable cast. that's why I indulge in so many OCs to begin with. in Karasu's story, most of the other demons are indifferent to him, or they like him/get along with him well enough (Mammon, Lucifer). Levi is a rare exception and is the only one that actively dislikes him at the moment. but Mephisto? that just makes things more fun because of his personality and how often he tends to clash with the brothers.

Crosmus is the purest ship of the entire book, I swear! They are just so wholesome and lovely! They are like an old married couple, sitting by the fireplace, playing music and bantering good-naturedly. Good for them!
