What would a male Yautja's genitalia look like?
Fortunately for us, we have a pretty clear picture, believe it or not. Tehe.

StudioADI created some miniature predator sculpts to aid in scripting and production of the 2004 AVP movie. (They were originally intended to walk out naked in a scene where they emerge from cryosleep, which was later removed from the movie script entirely. That’s the origin of this specific photo.)
So, I guess this is basically canon? But this still is just one rendition of what their genitalia possibly looks like.
Actually describing it, I honestly couldn’t tell you what’s going on here. Look’s like everything is already pre-packaged in a pouch though, just like my disgustingly delicious frozen dinners. So at least they don’t have to wear jockstraps and speedos 24/7. Good for them. 👍👍
Quick update, totally forgot about this conversation I had a million years ago regarding more of their biology. Goes way more in depth!

hi 1 quastion do you have any personal recommendations for what predator content I should look at first after I watch my last movie :0 either helpful build-a-boy materials or just stuff i can sink my teeth into
BOY DO I-
comics: fire and stone is really good! i've read it once but just started rereading it. asshole human scavenger ends up stuck with grumbly old yautja, shenanigans ensue.
hunters has been good so far! i remember reading the first issue a while back but the rest of it hadn't been uploaded yet so i'm curious to see where it goes.
i think the numerous AVP comics might like, have a certain order? but i don't honestly know since I just read them based on Vibes.
Big Game apparently predates Hunters with the same human character, I literally discovered this while typing this ask because I /thought/ big game was the one shot about the yautja that fights a grizzly bear and loses.
Books: IF IT BLEEDS is a compendium novel of short stories that I only initially bought because the author of newsflesh had a one shot in it and i knew it would be good enough to justify the purchase if the rest of the book flopped. I am pleased to say it did not!
Concrete Jungle/Cold War are two stories that I got as one novel on the ebook version that are pretty good, too. It follows Dutch's brother. I can say that while I enjoyed them well enough, I don't see where I'd reread them, while I was already thinking about rereading If It Bleeds, and for me rereadability is important for how good I judge a book on.
The Rage War has also been so good. I was hesitant because I get Weird abut new authors, even if it's for a franchise I enjoy but it's been good as hell for lore stuff. The implication that there's a WHOLE CLAN of disabled yautja that go on to continue doing things for the species after being unable to hunt? I am FEASTING.
Videos/Films: BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE, Predator: Dark Ages is a fan film that, frankly, had no right to be as good as it was for being independent and fan made. This One I recall being fine, IIRC it has yautja killing nazis and we always like to see nazis get killed.
For Build-A-Boy purposes i highly suggest checking out the studioADI youtube channel, they've done the bulk of the VFX across the franchise, lots of the OG's at ADI worked under Stan Winston. I like seeing the VFX portion because I'm super into creature creation and in another life would probably be doing it for a living, but it may be helpful for figuring out what kind of design you want!
There used to be a really cool behind the scenes doc for the original movie, I'll have to look and see if it's even still up because it has not only a lot of stuff about the design but also so much stuff about fucking bonkers it was getting that movie made.
There's also been several games throughout the years, and I think Hunting Grounds finally got a PC port? it's a shame that word of mouth has said that game flopped but most of the people saying it are gamer bros so I take it with a grain of salt. I could honestly, care less about gameplay I'm here for making a Boy and then Killing People.

Some early concepts for the Feral Predator by Michael Vincent (@MV_Creatures):
Art of Prey part II... back to the very beginning of the gig... when the project went to @thestudioADI, there was already design work done in ZBrush, so marching orders were to go straight to modelling, but I begged to bring it back to pencil...
There's a freedom pencil affords that 3D does not... using the provided design as starting point, the goal was to go wild with ideas, let the initial inspiration flow unabated, with the intention of dialing back after the fact... These were just between Alec, Tom, and myself
The above 2 are what Alec and Tom liked as the starting point to start sculpting... I initially wanted to split the Predator's palate in two, and have the inner jaws take on a radula-like quality, but in retrospect I think it wouldn't fly as yautja anatomy
I thought it would be fantastic if the creature gave the impression of a Wendigo... this was while it was still under wraps that it was even a Predator movie...
...and prior to the character putting on a whole lot more muscle...
This one was way out of bounds... but I do like the inhuman anatomy... I thought this could have been a Yautja "Scout", sent to planets to scope them out before the hunters arrive...
based on the closest thing to Predator in real life, a Gelada Baboon...
This I dont think I turned in - a sketch I did right after Alec called to see if I was available to work on Predator.. an easy yes.. and interestingly it seems to have informed the final design.. I've thought for a while that viper heat sensing pits on yautja would make sense
more scribbles that didn't work... I'm grateful I got to start in pencil, I have such a soft spot for those initial napkin sketches done at the beginning of a film.. where would we be without the Stan Winston sketches...

Sculpt progress on the Newborn - Alien: Resurrection - 1:18 scale. Sculpt made entirely from Aves FIXIT Sculpt by Aves Studio LLC I said "entirely" because it's the first figure I have created so far in which I haven't used a frame of any kind to sculpt upon. Total FIXIT with a little weight to it - makes it feel expensive LOL! I need to do a scale shot to show how it scales to my 3.75" figures in the series. Working on completing the lower abdomen of the creature, which will connect via a ball socket to the upper torso...that comes later in the casting phase. Right now, all the parts will be connected via wire or wax clay. Haven't completed the back section of the lower abdomen yet. Next step after finishing the lower abdomen will be the upper arms and the hips. I plan on tooling the arms with traditional shoulder joints with the hips being connected via ball sockets.
