Please, we need your help. The willow project is a project being viewed by the President in this moment, the plan is to sell ALASKA and its land, homes, and WILDLIFE for oil drilling. The project will produce up to 180,000 barrels of oil a day, according to the company — about 1.5% of total U.S. oil production. But in Alaska, Willow represents the biggest oil field in decades. What’s the problem with that? Project opponents point to its potential impact on global climate change. Environmental impact documents conclude that if the oil produced by Willow is burned, it would create 260 million metric tons of carbon dioxide. Exposure to CO2 can produce a variety of health effects. These may include headaches, dizziness, restlessness, a tingling or pins or needles feeling, difficulty breathing, sweating, tiredness, increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, coma, asphyxia, various cancers, and convulsions. Once the plan is approved, climate change will be irreversible and unfixable no matter the effort. But the only way we can stop this is if 189 more environmentalists and citizens like you sign our petition before it's too late. We only have one month left before it’s approved, without your help- the human race will suffer more than it ever has. Don’t let old white men in the government decide the fate of generations, and centuries of human history and cellular evolution. I’m asking you not as a fellow american citizen, but as a human being- take a few minutes to end the end from consuming life as we know it.
Plz reblog so we can get as many signatures as possible!!

In these dark times, I just wanna say: TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS! STOP BANNING BOOKS! STOP POLICE BRUTALITY! STOP THE WILLOW PROJECT! DONT OVERTURN ICWA! GUN CONTROL IS A MUST! MY BODY MY CHOICE! BLACK LIVES MATTER! The state of the U.S (probably the whole world, too) is so shitty right now, and honestly I am genuinely scared for our futures. The core of the U.S is being rewritten and destroyed. It is no longer free, and it hasn’t been for a while.

Warning swears and heavy topics
I'm not in america but I do have something to say about this "willow project"
Fuck it, fuck the government, and fuck Joe Biden, I had thought that no one was worse then Donald Trump but apparently he is.
If this project goes through were all fucked, does the government know how terrifying it is to have the fear of not being able to live past thirty, do they know the fear of losing the beings that gave all of us life in the first place! Nature is the reason as to why we exist and we're disgusting beings to destroy our mother.
I'm just barely an adult and I am fucking terrified, I can't handle this, I don't have any power to stop this except for signing a petition.
This is really scary and as someone very young it hurts my heart.

SIGN THE PETITION. STOP THE WILLOW PROJECT.
https://chng.it/K6qBB58WjY  SIGN THE PETITION I do not care where you are from, please sign the petition. All you need is an email or phone number, no cost. The USA is trying to pass something that will allow them to release 3 billion metric tons of oil into Alaska which will produce 287 million metric tons of carbon dioxide over a period of 30 years. Willow project will make climate change nearly impossible to mend and cause animals that depend on glaciers for territory in Alaska immediate extinction. This project will also harm indigenous communities. Alaska has been warming up twice as fast as the rest of the USA. The Willow project will cause irreversible effects. The Willow project first started in the Trump Administration, but it is however starting to be supported by President Biden. They plan to commence the project for the money and the benefits so the rest of us may live conveniently. This is not okay. Not only that, but the money doesn’t even go to the natives; It goes to Alaska, but instead the people of the state who decide whether the Natives deserve it or not. This project will release absolute hellfire on our ecosystem. Sure, it will benefit us now. But in the near future, the planet will be DESTROYED.  Stop Willow Project, sign the petition, spread awareness. More information on the petition page.

I'm devastated and so angry I could lit the whole Willow project on fire all by myself. I honestly can't understand how the entire Nature, the world, climate change, millions of animals, etc, depend on a single, old man's opinion. President Biden is not the owner of the planet, nor neither of us. Just one man is going to condemn our future and nature's future. At this point, I only wish that there is something that we can do, or that something really bad happens to the project because I swear I couldn't care less about these selfish and materialistic and dumb people. I know they are politicians and they have political power; that is one thing I can understand, but hurting our world just for money is the definition of being a monster. Over our dead bodies!

STOP THE WILLOW PROJECT
The US Department of the Interior has approved the Willow Project, a disputed hydrocarbon drilling license advanced by ConocoPhillip on Alaska's North Slope. Under the plan approved by the Biden administration, ConocoPhillips will be allowed to develop three wells (it had requested 5), in one of the largest oil and gas projects on federal public lands and could emit about 287 million tons of pollution emissions over the next 30 years, equivalent to reactivating one-third of all coal-fired plants in the United States. The decision comes after that, the day before. the Biden administration had announced new protections for Arctic lands and waters, banning oil and gas drilling on millions of acres of the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska and the Arctic Sea. Environmental groups, indigenous communities and several Democratic parliamentarians had opposed the controversial Willow project, a "carbon bomb" that would block US efforts to get out of fossil fuels for decades. Ben Jealous, executive director of the Sierra Club, the largest US environmental association (very close to the Democrats) harshly criticized the decision: «We cannot drill our way towards a sustainable future. We must conserve public lands, not sell them off to polluting corporations. The damaging effects of President Biden's decision cannot be underestimated. By allowing ConocoPhillips to do this, he and his administration have made it nearly impossible to achieve the climate goals they set for public lands. Willow will be one of the largest oil and gas operations on federal public lands in the country, and the carbon pollution it will release into the air will have devastating effects on our communities, wildlife and climate. We will suffer the consequences for decades to come. As we celebrate the administration's unprecedented protections for Alaska's land and waters, the decision to approve Project Willow could very well wipe out many of these climate and ecological benefits. And as you approve one of the largest oil and gas projects on federal public lands, one must ask the question of what the Biden administration has in store for the Arctic Refuge. For People vs. Fossil Fuels, “The Willow Oil Project locks us into decades of fossil fuel pollution at a time when we desperately need to shut down all new fossil fuel projects and quickly begin phasing out existing production. The approval is a denial of climate science and directly contradicts the administration's commitment to protect Alaskan wilderness from resource extraction and Biden's stated climate goals. The coalition of which Greenpeace USA is also part highlights that «Global scientists have been absolutely clear: we must end the expansion of fossil fuels if we are to avoid irreversible climate devastation and immediate damage to frontline communities. The approval of a massive new oil drilling project estimated to release 280 million tons of greenhouse gases when we are already in a climate emergency is shaping our future. Biden's presidential powers allow him to reject all new fossil fuel projects and declare a climate emergency that would ensure the survival of our communities and our planet. Instead, it is choosing to fatten the wallets of oil CEOs by expanding the fossil fuel infrastructure that will push us further into climate chaos. The fight for #StopWillow and all new fossil fuel projects is not over. Our movement to fight fossils continues to grow and we will continue to fight for a livable future aligned with science and justice."

I'm alive and I'm in Moldova rn, so I'm pretty safe. I got a terrible news recently about the Willow project. I can't even express how terrified I am. Again older generation ruin everything and make youngers to fix everything. But it's not fixable. Joe Biden and other people, who make the decision (as I know he's not the only one who make it), may be dead around the time when Earth will be almost dead and my generation too. We will not survive this. This is not the war from which I can run away (physically), it's gonna affect THE WHOLE PLANET

the willow project has been approved
they will destroy an economist full of polar bears, thousands of migratory birds, arctic foxes and seals among many other species of animals. The Willow Project will release nearly 290 metric tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, accelerating global warming, only for a bunch of fools to line their pockets.
