i had a hc that Venomous and Boxman met when they were still Lad Boxman and Laserblast was dating Silver Sparks

Laser and Silver would go on dates to get ice cream by Lad Boxman's small lab. Boxman would try to plot an evil attack on them but would usually fail. Not because they'd stop him, but usually because his machines back then would malfunction

Silver always suggested that they take Boxman down since he's plotting against them(and doesn't hide it at all), and Laser always dismisses it, saying that "it's not worth it" and that Boxman is an amateur villain at best

Boxman did eventually manage to catch them off guard with a missile fire that actually worked for once, and actually managed to land a hit. Laser and Silver did retaliate and obviously defeated Boxman but Laser never called Boxman an "amateur" ever again. He was impressed. Underestimated such a villain. He'd keep that in mind for the future

but i also think before that, Boxman would get so frustrated with his robots that maybe Silver or Laser would offer for them all to get ice cream together at one point

Did you guys know Ann Wauters was one of the first out players in the WNBA? She's been with her wife Lot for over 20 years. She was a great player in the WNBA. But she didn't get much media attention.

Ann was the primary offensive option on many of her pro teams. But WNBA media referred to her as if she were just a minor role player. The WNBA did this because they wanted to send a message to the rest of the players. They wanted players to know that even an unproblematic and talented lesbian would lose career opportunities by being out.

A good example of WNBA media's strange coverage of Ann happened in 2010. Ann got pregnant and took the 2010 WNBA season off. This made Ann the WNBA's first pregnant lesbian. Pregnancies are the kind of human interest story that the WNBA loves promoting. The WNBA has always been all about the mommy baller image. But in 2010, the first time a lesbian player got pregnant, WNBA media completely ignored the pregnancy. A lot of media outlets tried to avoid giving any explanation for Ann's absence. And if they did manage to say she was pregnant, they wouldn't mention that Ann was starting a family with a woman. And they certainly wouldn't mention that Ann's wife was also pregnant at the same time. A double pregnancy story is twice as interesting, but WNBA media wouldn't touch the story at all. Luckily, European media thought it was a fun story. So superfans who followed overseas basketball got to hear about it. But casual WNBA fans had no idea.

Ann has been completely out as a lesbian since 2000. She's been talking about her wife openly the entire time. And for most of Ann's professional career, the WNBA wouldn't promote her.

Ann is the reason the Belgium Cats are now one of the best national basketball programs in the world. She pushed and pushed her tiny country for 20 years. And so they started funding women's basketball. And now the Cats are the best show in Europe.

Ann is a friend and inspiration to so many of the WNBA veterans. So I want to share Ann's valentine's post to Lot.

how am i supposed to process the fact that lilia's UM lets him see the memories etched into physical objects and yet despite all the tons of stuff he has in his room the one thing he wanted to make sure he took with him was the bracelet silver made for him when he was little. how am i supposed to process that even though lilia's magic is gone and he can no longer peer into all the memories imbued into that bracelet he probably doesn't even need his UM to do so, because all those memories are already tucked away safely deep in his heart

I’m so interested in how your gonna swing rhaenicent relationship specifically with rhaenyra still being married. I can’t see Alicent being anyone’s mistress.

I love your writing. The way your write rhaenyra internal struggle is just chefs kiss.

Harwin is their father as Laenor is still gay in this AU. He was a beta and Rhaenyra had not presented so she was able to carry them both. He died in silver sparks just how he did in the show!

Daemon will be his usual grooming pedo in this fic, and trust that i won't treat him nicely<3 anyone who likes him as a character shouldn't read silver sparks (not only because of how i'll treat him, but also because i don't want anything to do with you pls be on your way❤️)

AU where steve and eddie exist in the old west. steve is the local sheriff and eddie owns a tavern well-known to fugitives and outlaws alike: the silver dollar.

eddie’s got a beer mug in each hand and he’s headed towards the end of the bar to a couple of patrons.

“jim, i’ll be with you as soon as i get these two outlaws taken care of!”

he’s met with raucous laughter and the tip of a cowboy hat just before the doors of the silver dollar swing open with a clatter.

“WILDER!”

sheriff harrington pulls his gun and with a wicked one-two pull shoots both mugs straight out of eddie’s hands, beer splashing to the floor and all over eddie’s boots.

eddie glances up towards wyatt and shrugs.

“i’ll owe ya a beer when steve’s done with you, i guess.”

he spins on his heel to face the door where the sheriff still stands with his gun drawn and eyebrows pulled angry.

“harrington! i swear to god! what did i say about shootin’ in my bar?”

steve has the nerve to look a little shy as he reholsters his weapon and makes to get wyatt in cuffs.

“apologies mr. munson. i’ll get ya’ some new mugs.”

he smirks and huffs a laugh.

“damn right you will. that’s the fourth time you’ve pulled this shit.”

steve yanks wyatt up by the shoulder and he grunts as the cuffs dig into his skin.

“maybe quit serving violent fugitives and i’d quit shootin’,” he says with an eyebrow raised.

eddie smirks back at him and starts pouring another glass for timothy, since his drink was lost to steve’s bullet also.

“no you won’t. see you next time, sheriff.”

steve shoves wyatt out into the street and tips his hat back towards eddie.

“next time.”

he’ll see him at home.
