A small unnecessary comment from from Veronica is edited out -- page 5 panel 5 -- to make room for scene movement and a giant "egad" -- the "egad" clearly a needed stylistic improvement in a build up of one egad over the last. The visuals of the military men are bumped aside, which is an interesting decision by Schwartz (or whoever laid it out). You can decide which explosion works better on page six, just as you can for page three.

An important but also saddening aspect about B2's lore, is that she's directly influenced by the orbit of the comet her core is made off.

This means she "sleeps" for three years, before "waking up" for another three.

It would be very interesting if, instead of recharging through proximity, the comet actually takes power away the closer it is to her. So, during the three years gap she's "asleep", Holloway's Comet can be seen on a clear night sky — as if Bee is looking out for her friends from above.

Housekeeping

You may have noticed, dear Readers, that I've recently added a tip button to my posts. You may have thought this gauche. It is gauche. But the reason behind its existence is twofold.

While my soul recoils before the idea of monetizing one's leisure, I have recently had cause to reflect on the fact that my annual income is less than what a friend draws annually as a retired educator who does some substitute teaching. (Let it not be said that he has not earned every penny! But still.) I have also had unexpected home repair expenses this week amounting to approximately a tenth of that annual income.

Moreover, by semi-popular demand (?), I do intermittently provide on here the kind of education I am underpaid to provide in the classroom. So it seemed a not unworthy experiment to see if this sort of indirect education might draw in an occasional gift of alms. Whether I maintain the experiment or decide that, after all, I object to it on principle, remains to be seen.
