Deadpool and Outlaw VS Dog-Thing

Deadpool (Wade Wilson), Outlaw (Inez Temple) and Diamondback (Rachel Leighton) are walking through the cave as they investigate over the disappearances of the Morlocks and the rumors of the monster. Then, they are attacked by the zombified humans and mutants in the cave. Deadpool, Outlaw and Diamondback fought them off until they reach the tunnel. Diamondback stays behind while Deadpool and Outlaw continue their journey to investigate further. As they reach the end of the tunnel, Deadpool and Outlaw see a dog sitting there in the room. However, there is something wrong with this "dog" as it is surrounded with skeletons of the victims in the room. Deadpool is wary of the "dog" while Outlaw did not want to shoot it as she found it cute. Then, the "dog" reveals itself as the monster that was the cause of the disappearance of the Morlocks. The Dog-Thing lures its victims with its cuteness before devouring them. Since Outlaw is shooting around madly from being hypnotized by the Dog-Thing, Deadpool covers his eyes with his spare underwear to prevent himself from getting lured in. Deadpool shoots the Dog-Thing (and Outlaw who is bulletproof) until the monster is dead. After minutes of gunfire, Deadpool and Outlaw are exhausted as well as the latter (Outlaw) had snapped herself out of her trance.

Mkay, I really need to stop speculating but I’m pretty sure Xosha is playing Rachel Leighton aka Diamondback and not Leila Taylor. Even though the pic is super blurry, I think Taylor has too few letters for her name tag. It also makes more sense. Leila was anti-establishment to the point of driving a wedge between Sam and Steve. It would be odd to make her military, but hell they made Sam and Joaquin military for the sake for the MCU.

I’m not well versed on her character by any means. But quick cursory skim of her comics in Marvel Unlimited shows me she had a thing with Steve on and off in the comics.

It’s funny, Steve was shaking and crying seeing Sam with Leila. And Sam was not a fan of Rachel aka Diamondback either. Steve asked for Sam’s help in saving Rachel and his response was “I can’t stand this bish, but I guess.”

I’m here for Diamondback and Sam being together here. He deserves love.

However, I’m not sure Steve meant for them to get together when he asked Sam to take care of her. Oh well!

I honestly never thought I’d see Rachel/Diamondback in the MCU, so l'm very surprised that she’s gonna be in Cap 4! There are two things I hope they DON'T do with her:

1.) make her a one-and-done villain that has a 5 minute fight scene with Sam and then she's never seen again cuz she either got killed off or sent to the Raft

and 2.) make her Sam's love interest just cuz she was with Steve in the comics and the writers are too lazy to do their research on Sam's big love interests.

I mean yeah, she did flirt with Sam a few times, but they were never on a “OMG I LOVE YOU AND I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH YOU" level. But I really won’t be surprised if the MCU does put them together. I just hope it doesn’t affect SamMisty in the comics.

And fandom-wise, l'm nervous for Rachel. SamB*cky stans might hate on her cuz she "gets in the way of their ship” and it'll be the Sharon/Emily and St*veB*cky chronicles all over again 😭 I DO NOT want a repeat of that shit!

But if the MCU writes her as a villain-turned-hero, I could see her having a lot of fans cuz most people love characters like her, which would be nice! I also hope us Sharon stans won't have to see any Rachel stans using her to hate on Sharon, but some were already doing that long before she joined the MCU, so there will no doubt be an increase in that behavior by the time Cap 4 comes out. I’ll do my best to ignore it 🙄 Most of the Rachel stans I’ve seen are pretty chill.

Anyways, I can't wait to finally see Rachel in live action with her bright pink ass wig (or maybe she'll dye her hair)! Rosa Salazar is going to act her ass off (if she IS playing her) and I hope us Rosa/Rachel and Emily/Sharon stans can get along!

Also, FUCK SABRA!

Huh... I never realized we have never seen Crossbones un masked so we didn't know he has some kind of messed up face... wonder when we'll learn about that...

We don’t know if Xosha Roquemore is playing Misty Knight, Leila Taylor, or Diamondback/Rachel Leighton, but I am ready to defend her from SamBucky stans with my life!

We are NOT about to have another Emily VanCamp-Sharon Carter situation in this house! I REFUSE to go through that again!

You can hate a character for “getting in the way of your ship” all you want, but LEAVE THE ACTORS OUT OF IT!!!
