Sometimes I start thinking about the Twitch City episode The Planet of the Cats (part 2, part 3), and then I can't stop thinking about its genius. I would have watched a whole season of this Cat Overlord Apocalypse Dream 'verse, with Callum Keith Rennie being a resistance leader, and Molly Parker's increasing horror and cute hair, and Maurice Dean Wint's battle-weary, hardened soldier. The best.

And, the great lines.

Also, is Mr. Socks the same dog that played Diefenbaker???

(How could you? After all the pats and rubs I gave you, after all the bowls of fresh water, you turn around and enslave mankind. Why, Lucky, why? No, don't get all fluffy on me...don't you remember all those scratches behind the ears? All those pieces of string? Don't you remember me trying to make my finger like a mouse? Does that mean nothing to you now?)

(also, it reminds me of aspects of the Sandman's A Dream of a Thousand Cats story. Only. You know. Not a comic, and full of Canadian actors in the late 90s. And completely absurd).
