Found another TY platypus in the wild! The platypus stack grows! This time it's the original Beanie Baby Patti, found in the local recycle shop.
Like with the others, I made a custom tail for this Patti. I only had a scrap of matchy yellow fleece to use though, so it came out a bit small, ah well. I moved the tag to hide underneath the tail too.
(Oh, just noticed I forgot to put nostrils on this one! I'll do that too.)

I can’t understate how badly I want this plush. It is so simple and small yet ultimately everything I want in a tortie cat plush. In my opinion this is the best way to handle tortoiseshell fur for plush.
I’ve searched a few times but it’s never available, it’s a San-ei Neko Dango. This brand has also done other coat patterns and breeds rarely plushed

It makes me feel joy when I read the tags and see something like this
(I'm glad it cheered you up a lot although it's not my own post)
some of you might remember that around Christmas I was travelling down to my family's when I opened my bag and realised I didn't have Gumbo! he'd fallen out of my bag in my bedroom and I didn't have him with me!
my friend picked him up from where he'd fallen on the floor and tucked him safely into bed. I was still really sad about him being all alone, so my partner took him to their family's place for Christmas instead!
here he is cuddled up with all of my partner's plushies before they set off on their journey, making sure he's warm and not lonely
appreciating the Christmas tree!
he even got a gift!
all tired out after a long Christmas
today Gumbo returned to me! here he is at the raccoon squad reunion!
and now it's bedtime for my favourite guy. what a big adventure he's been on! I'm so glad for my friends and my partner who made sure he was okay, and I'm really glad to have him back in my arms again 😊
(pssst! don't worry about him getting lost again! I got him a surprise gift! it's a harness that I can attach to my bag so he should be nice and safe on any and all future adventures!)
