Prompt 71
Klarion is delighted, excited, impatient, and so very happy. He’s found a friend, not the justice league baby-crew who don’t know how to make friends properly or the order-magician who doesn’t play right, but another realm-being his age! They’re even around the same death-date, his is just a couple years earlier! But to beings who aren’t adults until they’re well into the hundreds that’s practically nothing!
His new friend even has a familiar too- even if he has to explain what a familiar is- and, and even shares his two other friends with him!
He’s been in this world for what feels like so long trying to make friends and he’s made three in just a month! And they even know how to properly play and wrestle without targeting Teekl like a certain order lord who he doesn’t like.
Oh! Hey it’s the justice league kiddy-crew! Were they feeling neglected or something?

i bet phantom ghoul was so amused by the bats the last ritual.
backstage everyone was just getting on with their things to get ready to perform but mountain could barely move bc bats were all over him since he's like nature and all i guess
and ant is just watching him with big eyes, VIBRATING with excitement.
he sticks to mountain for the rest of the day, even when they're out of there and on the bus and should be sleeping in the hotel they're staying at.
of course, he's too shy to ask the most important question, but mountain knows it already so he just asks phantom instead.
"do you wanna tame some when we get back home?"
phantom beams at him. he's in a good mood for the rest of the tour.
when they get home, mountain helps phantom tame some bats and now, ant walks the ministry's halls with one or two or all five of his bats clinging to him or flying after/around him.
he looks like a proud dog owner. babies them so much.
omega and aether (maybe dracopia..) teach him a very hard and special transformation spell and phantom learns how to turn into a bat for a short period of time. and flies around with his bats and hunts with them sometimes.

Ik it's been awhile since I have dropped a HC on you, but consider: Akira doing some unnecessarily dangerous stunt in the Metaverse and feeling so proud of himself... and then he's shocked when the team gets angry/worried that he risked his own safety like that.
"Guys, it's fine, only I would have gotten hurt!"
And then they just get even angrier and he's confused and startled they're so worked up about it. He's not used to people worrying about him.
omg june, hi!!! aaa i yelled when i saw your user pop up, hope you're doing well!!
your brainworms are angsty as ever and oh how i love it
i'm such a believer in the akira-is-passively-reckless-about-his-own-life concept, you'll have to rip it from my cold, dead hands
considering the in-game clues we get about how he's not great about keeping himself well-fed and has an automatic tendency to throw himself aside for the sake of other people's safety, akira's probably got a huge lack of self preservation to add to that (maybe even, a complete lack of care for his own wellbeing) (i'm absolutely blaming his home life for this)
which works well enough for someone in a leadership position, he'd make sacrifices for others very easily and yeah!! he's just so used to not putting himself into consideration- he doesn't even think about his own safety. nobody else ever has, so why should he?
it trickles into everything he does. the last healing item goes to a teammate, whatever funds he makes from part-time jobs goes into the phantom thieves (nevermind that he's living on sojiro's patronage curry and instant noodles, that's unimportant, he's unimportant), he offers unconditional support and a listening ear to every confidant he meets, and helps them with all their problems- even if it is to his own detriment. on the battlefield against a new enemy, joker will do his best to find the weakness- because if they repel anything, at least then he carries the brunt of the backlash. it's natural, instinctive, and therefore he sees no wrong in it.
and for a long time, he gets away with this reckless abandon for his own safety.
except he goes a step too far, maybe he decides to distract another hoard of shadows on his own? or makes what should be an impossible zipline move to cross to the other side of a chasm. against a rampaging enemy, he throws himself in the firing line. after months of excusing the passing recklessness, this is a step too far for the phantom thieves.
when they're reunited with joker, he's not greeted by praise for his dramatic flourish, or impressed and spirited cheers for carving a path deeper into the palace, but instead worried frowns and scolding reprimands. flurries of hands which search for his injuries and want to heal, and he doesn't need it he's fine-
and oh you're so right it would hurt so much because akira would be so confused by their concern!! at first, he probably assumes they're talking about anything but him. did he accidentally break a treasure on his landing? for some reason, had the thieves not wanted that shadow hurt? what was it this time, what had he done wrong- because he had to have done something wrong he always does something wrong, eventually
when it gets through to akira that no, they're worried about his safety the boy blue-screens there and then.
it's not something he's ever been used to- care, affection....attention. nobody's cared enough to look close enough before, and suddenly akira doesn't know what to do with this worry, with this obvious sign that people care about him, that someone values akira kurusu....he's in a bit of a fugue as the diarahan washes over him, so much do he can't even scold what he'd deem an unnecessary use of energy
they call it a day in the palace not long after.
learning to value your own life isn't something that's easy, but akira's surrounded by people who care about him now- they can be patient. this time, they're taking the lead to help akira, not the other way around.
maybe makoto challenges him to find a more safe plan, that doesn't involve reckless action. ryuji helps him be more open about his feelings. ann teaches akira how to appreciate himself. futaba shows him how to trust in what people promise. yusuke guides him through self-appreciation in his own, artistic style. haru helps akira define himself, outside of the parameters his parents set for him. morgana stays at his side through it all.
in their own way, they'll help akira find some self-worth, and hope to see the fruits of their labour in akira guarding a bit more often in battle, turning to his teammates instead of charging in headfirst and bearing the weight of shadows' attentions himself. they'll wait patiently for the day he asks for help, and be proud when he does.
for now, they'll accept the occasional willingness to head back to a saferoom, or retreat from battle. they'll mentally cheer when he uses one of their few healing items to patch a gash in his side. it's all about the small steps.

Replaced
Aether going through it after Phantom is summoned uwu
He supposed he shouldn't have been surprised. After all, when Rain was summoned, Ifrit had been replaced with Sodo. When the ghoulettes were summoned, Zephyr was replaced by them. It was just how life was in the band. He knew he wasn't Copia's ghoul. Copia had never been his actual master.
Still, it didn't stop the drop of his stomach when he saw the new ghoul standing proudly beside Copia and Imperator, his tail flicking curiously behind him. It didn't stop the pain that shot through his heart when Copia proudly announced he had finally, after so many years, summoned his own quintessence ghoul. And it doesn't stop the sharp feeling crawling up his throat as he swallows thickly. But he forces a smile onto his face and blinks back the gathering tears.
The hand on his back makes him turn, Sodo staring up at him with pursed lips.
“It's okay,” Aether tells him in a soft voice. But they both know it's not. They both hear the quiver in his voice. And it only makes him feel worse.
He knows what will happen now. As the crowd disperses, he puts on a brave face. The three walk forward, Imperator's head held high with a proud smile on her face. Copia, however, is sporting a shameful look.
“Aether,” Imperator starts, her tone a sickly sweet while still being firm. He knows what's coming, even if he doesn't want to. “you will be stepping down as rhythm guitarist. Phantom will be taking your place.”
“I understand, Sister.” He's at least proud of himself for keeping his voice steady this time. He looks at Phantom, giving him a smile. In a way, he resembles an ancient quintessence ghoul that once walked through the abbey. White hair that stood out against a dark, muted violet skin tone. He's got the double horns like most quintessence ghouls in the abbey, but they're smooth instead of rigid like his own.
“You will also be teaching him how to play,” Imperator continues nonchalantly. “I don't trust that fire ghoul to teach anymore, especially with how Alpha turned out.” She turns to Phantom. “While you are learning, we will be giving you a temporary guitar. I expect it to stay in pristine condition while it's under your care.”
“Yes, Sister.” His voice is smooth as he responds, nodding his head once. Aether can see it clear as day in him. The professionalism, how he holds himself. It's all the same signs every ghoul goes through when they're first summoned. He wonders how long until they all get to see his true personality.
“Thank you for everything, Aether,” Copia's voice is hesitant and meek as he takes a step towards the large ghoul. “I really did love our time together.”
“As did I, Papa.” He wants to bite back. He wants to scream and ask him why? Why replace him? Wasn't he enough? But before he can even act on these thoughts, Imperator's hand rests on Copia's shoulder.
“Phantom will be staying in the guest rooms until you can move out of yours,” she tells Aether. It feels like he's been stabbed. He knew it was just routine business. He took Omega's old room when he retired. But that was willingly. This was all sprung on him at the last second, being told that Copia had a “surprise” for the whole clergy. “I'm sure one of the older ghouls will be more than happy to help you settle in.”
“Yes, Sister.” He doesn't want this conversation to continue. He wants to wake up from some horrible nightmare and laugh it off with the others. Knowing he won't be close to his pack anymore – well... they're no longer his pack, are they? Alpha, Omega, Ifrit, Zephyr, all of them; when they retired, they were no longer part of his pack. That thought alone hurts him the most.
“Very good! Then it's settled!” Imperator claps her hands together, turning to Phantom. “Special will show you to your temporary room. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask him. Special has been here a very long time and he knows the ins and outs of the abbey.
As for you, Aether, I expect your room to be cleared out by tomorrow morning. Please, leave all of the windows open so it can air out.”
“Yes, Sister.” She must've been able to pick up on his negativity. He's sure he was doing a horrible job of hiding it. Still, Aether turns his attention to Phantom, mustering up a genuine smile.
“Welcome to the ministry.” He doesn't take another second. He turns around and starts for the dens. He feels horrible and, in a way, betrayed. He thought Copia had looked at him as his own ghoul. He never thought he would be replaced like this.
“A new ghoul?” He recognizes the voices in the hall; Primo's ghouls. “Don't we have enough already? What happened to that other one?”
“He's being replaced.” How that response is said so matter-of-factly hurts. “Suppose he'll be joining us in the dens.”
“We have enough ghouls in there.”
“Take it up with Copia. You know how much he's been wanting a quintessence ghoul of his own.”
He can't bear to listen to the rest of their conversation. He's starting to feel nauseated by the thought of it all. Copia wanted to replace him. He wanted his own quintessence ghoul. And he finally got it.
When he reaches the dens, the rest of his pack is all gathered in the common area. The looks of concern and disbelief are prominent on their faces, especially Cumulus.
“Aeth-”
“It's okay.” He has to cut her off. He can't handle talking right now, the tears slowly starting to well up in his eyes as he gives them all a forced smile. “It'll be okay.” His voice is quivering again, and he feels his tail wrap around his leg in a pathetic attempt to comfort himself. “I-I gotta... get everything packed.”
He walks past them, his feet feeling heavy as he draws closer to his room. He hears one of the others start to move, but it's quickly stopped.
“Don't.” He can pick out Sodo's hushed voice. “Give him a little bit.”
And he's grateful for the fire ghoul's advice because the second Aether gets into his room and shuts the door, he lets it all out. He doesn't even make it to his bed. He just slides down the door, sobbing pitifully into his hands.

After watching HZ022 with subs, I can safely say that Friede continues to be the guy I love so much for a reason. I have Thoughts™ about him just from what we learn in this episode so here comes another hyperfixated post from me.
Screencaps and what not under the read more so spoilers be warned -jazz hands-
First and foremost, I absolutely love how we get to see why he's a Pokemon Professor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has vast knowledge about Pokemon that he could make this possible connection and eventual realization that what they're chasing after might not be Rayquaza after all. I could easily picture him pouring hours over all recorded information involving Rayquaza. You can see that proud smile on his face, hear the budding excitement in his voice. Regardless of how he feels about the title, this man continues to have a passion in learning about Pokemon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also love this little callback to HZ008 where the kids disappear on him when he's absorbed in explaining things.
Next, I love how they show the deep bond and trust that he has with his Pokemon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Friede understood Cap's intentions and he trusts Cap to look after the kids if he found them first. He trusts Cap to take care of himself too seeing that in most situations, it's wiser to stick together. Last thing you want is for more people or Pokemon getting lost.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And man, I absolutely love how Cap shares Friede's protectiveness over the kids and their young Pokemon. He fought to keep them safe against a strong opponent, so much so that he got badly hurt from it. Friede's trust in Cap is warranted, and I can't imagine how bad things would've get for Liko and Roy had Cap not arrive as he did.
Back with Friede and Charizard, you can see the deep bond that they have too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Breathing in sync with Charizard so they can both spot that split second of Ceruledge coming out of Phantom Force and react accordingly? That's not something achievable without years of battling together, where Charizard trusts Friede's order and has the reaction time to hit Ceruledge with Dragon Claw. I love how Horizons continue to showcase Pokemon bonds with their respective Trainers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Going back to Friede, once again we see his playfully serious nature when it came to battling against Amethio. Compared to his last encounter with Spinel, there's a pretty significant difference in how he sees both opponents. He battles them seriously but Spinel showed he was a dangerous opponent while Amethio, while strong doesn't convey the same level of danger to Friede. He knows that Amethio will fight him in a straightforward battle so he's able to make all these quips.
Meanwhile Friede mentioning that Amethio won't catch him looking away is a callback to that battle on the island where he kept getting distracted by Roy's battle. This shows that he learnt from that battle and is taking Amethio seriously. On the other hand, Amethio's eye twitch is an indicator that he thinks Friede's still not taking him seriously, which I find is a nice touch.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly, I love how they showed him to immediately jump into action. Unlike Amethio who watched on as Galarian Moltress emerged from the mine shaft, Friede spotted Liko and Roy being chased by it. He had Charizard attack it so the attention shifted to him instead of the kids. Just the zero hesitation of attacking a strong, dangerous Pokemon he likely didn't know of to protect the kids, and trusting them to take care of Cap literally had me screaming his name alongside Liko.
All in all, I absolutely loved this week's episode! It gave me crumbs of his personality that I will put into my future writing of him haha!

@infernalpursuit sent:
a weird headcanon for ALL of them!!!!!!!! or at least the ones you have most muse for
Tumblr media Tumblr media
all of 'em?
Adisse, Ellera, and Hadren - When they were all little, Hadren would scare her younger sisters with stories of dragons and werewolves and draugr and brigands. Adisse grew out of that fear on her own. Ellera took a bit of encouragement.
Alia - Phantom limb pain. And itches. And leg being asleep. It's all still weird, even though the leg has been gone for years. Sometimes she still goes to paint the toenails on that side and is thankful no one else is there to see her do it but her cat.
Anaïs - When she first left the Vault, the first ghoul she encountered, she treated like a friendly face. It was not. Not anymore. Her trauma convinced her that used to be her neighbor, Mr. Sumner. It wasn't.
Arlo - He tried to convince his sisters that the family pet Growlithe was going to evolve and eat them when they were kids. He was grounded for this and doesn't care for Growlithes now.
Asa - They've made countless pipes in their glass blowing class and the professor is too much of a chicken shit pushover to say anything. Their favorite one is a clear blue one.
Baz - Honestly, he's not great at arm wrestling. Something about the angle, he says, but it's bullshit. He's just plain bad at it.
Beam - Once ate someone's pet Saluki. It was an accident and he was stuck picking dog hair from his teeth for days.
Brier - Ask her about the time she got arrested for trespassing. And the other time she got arrested for trespassing. And the other time. She has boundless curiosity and bolt cutters.
Chira - In her Pokémon verse, she's a massive fan of Grusha. When he announced he planned on retiring from snowboarding, she cried.
Dar'jhan - Regularly gets told he's going to get scurvy because citrus fruits give him heartburn. He is terrified of this.
Deacon and Glory - They have a chess tournament at the Railroad HQ when things are quiet. Glory cleans house during this and wipes the crypt floor with those scrubs. Deacon does not.
Empyrean, Thara, and Un-kyong - When Empyrean first got to the Church, Un-kyong definitely started a rumor that she and Thara hated each other. It wasn't true at the time, but it had been brought up enough, it was like she manifested this beef into being. She isn't sorry. Empyrean and Thara can respect the other's grind, but they don't like each other.
Fumiyuki and Hanami - The first time Fumiyuki met Hanami, he scared him beyond his fucking wits. Hanami knows this to be true and terrorizes this poor curse user, just because he can. Something about the voice is scary as fuck.
Gakuganji - He cannot drive. It sends his anxiety through the roof. So while on paper, he is able to do this, in practice, old man's a mess.
Gardenia - She hates sand. Hates it. She has to wash off outside, change out of sandy clothes, and shower immediately. Probably even vacuum afterwards, too. She hates sand.
Hornjolf - Bazulmorz was his gay awakening and now they're in love.
Iruka and Nezumi - Nezumi broke Iruka's nose when they were kids. It was on purpose because he made an ill-timed joke about her.
Itzli and Timofei - These two cardinals are so, so wretched, they schedule a weekly bitchfest just to talk shit about everyone else at the church. When Timofei doesn't forget. And when Itzli decides she wants to go. There are always snacks and a bag of blood for them to split.
Joni - She restored her van herself. Ask her about it! She's proud as hell, okay?! It ran decently before, but with the help of her uncle and Sebastian (despite being an unfriendly shit the whole time) she got it done!
Jupiter - When things went tits up with Team Galactic, she went looking for Cyrus for a while. But it seemed he wasn't entirely interested in being found. Eventually she gave up, and he spent her time learning how to cook. She's not a professionally trained chef by any means, but she can outcook most of my other muses.
Jyspolwynni and Remni - Some fish elves are fishier than others. Remni's gills are more developed than Wynni's, but Wynni has a more otherworldly look that Remni does. Fish elves are weird, man.
Loree - She tutors for chemistry and math, but cannot get the grasp of English and Literature her ap class requires. She's trying so hard and is stressed so bad over this.
Maggie and Zecharias - Based on accuracy alone, Maggie is a better shot with a rifle, and Zecharias is better with a bow. Though he doesn't use it often and prefers his shotgun or revolver.
Mayumi - She had a crush on Yu while they were in school, but she was never his type. Which was a fucking shame.
Mica, Veta, and Onnicka - They all might act like big ol' bitches, but Glücksfall and Snapdragon love playing together. There's enough overlap in the fan bases that really draw the best crowds and the bands all get along decently well.
Mike - He tried to teach Walker how to fight when she was 11, He ended up having to find someone else to do it because he forgot she was left-handed and a child and accidentally broke her nose. He cried over this. She didn't. What he did successfully teach her was to be down to fight anyone at any time. He's so proud.
Mountain - He befriends all animals. Even the ones set to be slaughtered, which there are several throughout the church grounds. The chickens like to follow him, much to Errett's dismay. He doesn't do this on purpose.
Mr. Torgue - He can fuck it up with a set of knitting needles. His Grandma Flexington taught him, obviously. So far, his favorite projects are a TORGUE afghan he made for his grandma and a dice bag he uses when he plays Bunkers and Badasses.
Murphy and Sioned - If there was a competition for worst person in the Commonwealth, it wouldn't be between these two. They really aren't all that bad if you're willing to overlook the murdering amd weird cult-y shit. Murphy sends caps back to their brothers, and Sioned gives settlers food after they talk to them about the Glory of Atom and his Division.
Noah - He speaks Belarusian while he's out in the Commonwealth to avoid people talking to him. It's kind of a manipulation thing because people will overlook him as a threat if they think he can't understand them, but he almost always uses this to his advantage to avoid problems.
Ocvist - He does not care for the golden dragon, Villentretenmerth. He finds his to be brash and impulsive and too proud. Changing into a human form? Outrageous.
Prue - I've talked about this a bit before, but she is colorblind. She has tritanopia. It usually doesn't cause any issues for her, apart from the occasional weird outfit, but she has painted a wing of her ship the wrong color in the past. It's annoying, but rarely dangerous.
Rochelle - She has a big fat crush on Oz. She hates it. They're so nervous all the time and she has shit to do. Not be pining over the embodiment of fear. Ugh.
Ryuko - Despite rarely being home, their house in Kumogakure is lined with trinkets from her travels, well-loved paperback books, and rose-scented candles. They're a romantic.
Salomé - She always starts her day with a cold brew. This is a habit she picked up while getting her bachelor's degree. Her whole day feels off if this is skipped.
Shane - His hangover remedy is eggs, vintage SNES games, and two advil. He lies to himself and says it works every time.
Tempest - She has been reprimanded more than once for luring new fire ghouls to their deaths. She's not sorry and she will do it again. If they'd stop bringing in those weird, overly aggressive, territorial fire ghouls, she wouldn't have to kill them and pick their bones clean. But they don't listen.
Verastian - While conjugation magic is his forte, his ability with alchemy is nothing to shake a stick at. He offers a fine array of healing potions, fortification elixirs, and if you're willing to wait until his shop closes for the day, he'll sell you the best poisons from the back door.

I finally managed to finish these. I missed editing illustrations and I'm so looking forward to editing the illustration/s for eldarya's music event (pls be individual).
Now, I'll do some hc but combined, so here you go:
Multiple people, including Alan and Alice, sang at the masquerade. They mostly went with classical songs, like opera and some ballads. At some point, the two of them had a duet from The Phantom of the Opera, that being "Point of no return".
The event took place in the Royal Palace where the king and some other aristocrats live. He was present too and seem very satisfied with all (I should've edited an illustration with him too but maybe I will and update the post).
Most of them (my candies and their LIs) recognized each other some because are very familiar and know each other very well (Like Rose and Alan) or because of the gaze (Alice and Ren) or because they're just unmistakable (Chris and Carla).
Ren is a kind of popular guy bc of his status and position beside the royal family (he's the leader of the council), so a lot of people had their eyes on him and wanted a dance but he prefers to do that with his mistress who's pregnant, again. She felt very good and proud because she made all of those people jealous of their perfect relationship.
Chirs acted like a Don Juan but still offered all her attention to her lady, Carla. She prepared well for the masquerade and learned how to dance the waltz. Carla felt like an innocent lady dancing with the devil.
Rose already saw herself as the queen of the ball and Alan as a prince trying to pursue her with charm and elegance. She is instantly drawn to him but keeps her facade not to make him think that she's an easy woman. They also had some moments in a private area.
Overall, everything felt very faitytailish and everyone had a good time.

So my take on dustfell has changed in terms of origin. The new au storyline for the main au plot or origin is this.
timeline underfell:
327 pacifist routes have past. Sans saw what frisk was doing and eventually he asap quit his belief in a stupid motto he only followed because of asgore but with frisk around he had a new plan to put an end to asgore. Letting go of the motto meant letting go of the secret grudge against frisk meaning he now likes frisk but is scared of them and was instead rather mad at asgore and was like paps and everyone else wanting to overthrow him so he went off to do it. He set out to go off against asgore but then received determination at the cost of reducing his age to 5 years old so determination is dustfell sans`s fountain of youth which is the weird part. This determination allowed him to manipulate time and space to the extreme. He then went phsycopathic and went to the ruins and slashed toriel he began eating and drinking from the chest boxes all of the underground and killing monsters even his own brother and had already beaten the human and surprise attacked asgore and fought him to the death and brutally killed him and absorbed the human souls then Royal guards. He's reach frisk and bravely fight them dispite being scared of them. He beat them countless times then took their soul more determination and became a developer across time and space able to manipulate code and had the knowledge on how to. He reset and this marked a new air in the multiverse dustfell.
And as for the relationship between him and core frisk to reduce the cringe and ship likelyness I'm a just say he knew them to the point core frisk and dustfell sans or Nexus sans are "like" siblings cause core frisk knew him that much. The idea came to me from marching band for school at a marching competition I was with a female French horn player and she said that she and another section leader in her section the French horns knew each other and we're friends with each other since they were born so they are like sisters but they're not they knew each other that long though. So dustfell and core frisk know each other the moment they First.
Itl be enough to cause core frisk to treat him like a younger brother as originally intended. Plus dustfell or aka Nexus sans in my take didn't know core frisk until the end of his 1st journey in the multiverse. All he knows is after defeating error and nightmare sans In red carnage in the multiverse. In the aftermath he was just resting in his au and core frisk just showed up knocking on the door as they came in after a talk, Nexus was stunned to completely know core frisk as they sat looking at Nexus proud of him and their own younger brother of their own. Still cringy and awkward if doki dokie sees it so.
As for abyss sans. Just because Nexus/dustfell sans is a fan of abyss sans doesn't mean he hasn't acted aggressive towards him ever especially sence he's a fan of abyss cause he's not like other typical sans and instead has evolution power and cell core instead of a typical soul. Of course knowing all this he doesn't want to offend abyss and one time dustfell flowey warned Nexus of abyss right of in front of abyss in Nexus own au dustfell once abyss found out Nexus hid he had known and thought of having that power himself if he had to. Nexus seing this turned phsycopathic out fear acting out of aggression here is a script line to see it.
After this abyss learns Nexus is going phsycopathic out of fear.
Nexus/dustfell: abyss...
Abyss responds in whatever way metakaz says he would.
Nexus phsycopathicly aggressive talking tone: get out of my au!. NOW!!
Phantom fell papyrus or phantom boss is still the same personality but is drawn by sans and withdrawn into his head and can also serve as a manifestation of Nexus/dustfell sans's power. Being looked in the eyes at dustfell sans aka Nexus sans in my take will make the back round and you look up and see phantom boss with sans. He is still the same papyrus sans got and regrets it.

Top three fandom asks for Persona 5? 👀
Personally my top three ships are RyuAnn, ShuMako, and MakoHaru 🥱
Oh Persona 5, I can tell you right now that all of my least favorite things will have to do with Ryuji. I think I'm dumb because I don't remember who Shu is for the ShuMako ship😖
Ask Game Here
Tumblr media
3 male characters I love: Ryuji, Akechi, Maruki (it was so hard to do a top three because I also love Mishima and Yusuke so very much)
3 female characters I love: Futaba, Sumire, Ann
3 romantic ships I love:
Honestly, my romantic ships have to be the other phantom thieves with Joker (minus Futaba cause I like them better as siblings, and also minus Morgana for obvious reasons). Idk I just like the dynamic that Joker has with the others.
Joker/Akechi. Look, I found the two of them neat in P5 and then Royal came along with giving Akechi an actual social rank and I really found them neat. But then fucking Robbie Daymond and Xander Mobus had to make a song together as the characters. Enemies to Frenemies (reluctant allies really) to Lovers really hits with them
Sojiro/Wakaba, just listening to when Sojiro would talk about Wakaba and then seeing the alternative ending with Royal and how Sojiro is there... I absolutely loved them.
3 platonic dynamics I love:
Ann/Shiho (I wish there was more. Thank god for Royal having some moments, but I wanted to visit Shiho in the hospital with Ann or something)
Ryuji/Ann (tbh I love their best friend energy they have going on. Not a single braincell between them and I love it)
Sojiro/Futaba/Joker. I'm sorry but good adoptive father/daughter relationships feel so hard to find and I just love that family so much. It's the found family dynamic too ngl
Honorable mention - Futaba/Yusuke. They're idiots and I love their friendship
3 favorite moments in canon:
Saving Futaba and her learning the truth (honestly her whole arc) was just so amazing. It was so heartbreaking, but so satisfying to be able to help her.
The alternative ending for Royal is a favorite because it's unbelievably bittersweet. Like you should feel happy when you see it. You should think that it's the right choice because everyone got their happy ending, but it's just so heartwrenching and I love it so so much (I cry every damn time I see it).
Every Persona awakening was just amazing to watch. Oh my god and Akechi's "second" persona reveal? It's so amazing and I wish I could watch it all again like I've never seen it before because damn it was so cool.
3 favorite headcanons:
Yusuke ended up taking interest once when Ann and Haru were showing Makoto and Futaba how to paint their nails. Yusuke stated that the girls could do better and then gave them beautiful nail art (he did get a bit thrown off when Futaba wanted nails specific to the Kamen Riders, but he did it).
Ryuji, Mishima, and Joker all just crowded around that gatcha machine in Akihabara or in the Arcade trying to get specific figures and dolls. Mishima and Ryuji taking turns and failing and then Joker, with max stats being smug because obviously he can do it and then he fails too. They eventually suck up their pride and beg Shinya to win them the Jack Frost doll.
Ann visiting Shiho for regular meet ups and telling her all about the new friends she made. Sometimes Ann brings mini paintings that Yusuke drew or anime character stickers that Futaba had extras for. Shiho hasn't met these people, but Ann talks highly about Shiho to them so they all want to give the girl little presents. It is very exciting when Shiho is finally introduced to Ann's new friends. Shiho is very proud of Ann for the happiness she managed to find.
3 least favorite things about it:
Oh fucking boy I hated all the crap Ryuji got. He's such a good best friend, he sacrificed his life! And instead of the "Oh my god, I'm so happy you're okay!" that he deserved, he was pummeled for comedic effect?? Fuck you Atlas.
Again, with Ryuji, specifically with how he was treated by Morgana throughout the entire game. And then when Ryuji stood up for himself, Morgana was suddenly the victim?? Haru didn't even get her own spotlight because of this little shit.
And hey, another least favorite that ties in with the others. Fucking Haru. She was in her dad's goddamn palace. She was trying to fix things so she could have her dad back. It should've been emotional and it should've made us attached and love Haru. But honestly, I was mostly frustrated with the palace and dealing with Morgana that when Haru's dad died it was just an "Oh no! Anyway..." moment where I moved on so quickly. Thank god for Strikers helping me actually appreciate Haru more.

Hi hi! This is sorta a teensy bit off-topic, but I've yet to meet another aro Fairy Tail fan, especially one who is super into in-depth character analyses, so I got pretty excited when I found your blog!
I've got to ask, as an aro, how do you look at the ships in Fairy Tail without the amatonormative lens? What is your perspective of them? What's your favorite? (I bet you've been asked that loads of times, sorry)
Jerza is my absolute favorite ship because there's something so... so labelless about it, ya know? It's as far from traditional as it can get, and it's got so much depth and history between characters and the concept and existence of the ship itself to analyze and theorize!
OOooh fellow aro hi hi hi ❤ Nice to meetcha ❤❤❤
I'm pretty indifferent to the ships, I've definitely been asked a ton, but my general perspective is that 'hey, if it looks cute and seems fun, all the power to it!' and I don't really care too much about who genuinely ends up with who, whether in canon or fanon. If the dynamic is fun, romantically or otherwise, I'm all for it even if the ships and characters overlap.
When I was young, I definitely loved Loke and Lucy, because the Loke Arc meant so much to me. I also loved Natsu and Lisanna, because the tragedy she brought to the story with the reveal of her death brought so much to Fairy Tail's narrative.
When I look at ships, honestly, I see the romantic side of things as secondary to any other relationship they would have. I like better to think of their unique and potential dynamics, the story they're trying to tell, rather than the fact that they're going to fall in love or end up together at the end of the story.
Alzack and Bisca are the iconic gunsligner duo who've gone through travels and missions leaving their backs to each other. In Edolas, they're proud to show of their love and that's funny, but it stops being interesting when all they do is repeat their names at each other with no hint of their subtle personality differences, the way they meld, the way Alzack and Bisca would unhesitatingly protect each other, but are still strict enough to lightly scold when either of them lets their guard down. It was all gone, and eventually, everything about Alzack and Bisca was just the fact they had a cute daughter. They just became the 'nice FT background characters', rather than the bold and prominent duo that spearheaded the protection of the guild in Phantom arc.
Though, my idea of Fairy Tail ships is mostly on the fandom side of things, because I'm not too big a fan of how they are in canon. Nalu's the one I'm most indifferent about in a romantic lens. But of the other big 4, I adore the cute potential of the 'redeemed villain with a cute fairy' dynamic that Gajevy has. Gruvia is fascinating to me, because it's an interesting pit of the 'cool guy' and the 'girl that's not his type', and watching them grow from enemy to tolerance to eventually learning to understand more than just their horrible first impressions was an arc I wanted to see executed better overall.
And though I love Gajevy very much, it does sadden me to see all these characters get shafted for a primarily romantic narrative. Gajevy is a story of protection, so it's fine in the way I can see something important about Gajeel's redemption in their advancement, but there's little for Levy as herself.
But Gruvia, I'm always rather on the fence. I still don't understand why Gray rejected Juvia after GMG. I think Mashima was trying to enforce the Tsundere stereotypes on him, which, you know, he's never been a conventional Tsundere and that scene was hardly the picture of a boy hiding his embarrassment, so all it portrayed was Juvia blatantly ignoring his crude rejection, which set off my aro flight or fight response. Being an aroace who's never been able to openly say it in real life (because I live in a country where people don't believe ace people are real) has made Juvia's advances rather uncomfortable at times for me.
And it honestly makes me sad because I love Juvia all the way up to Fantasia. I wish the crush she had on Gray remained secondary to her character rather than become her main thing. In TOH, she wanted to impress Gray very much, but her priority was on contributing to getting through the tower as part of the group, and helping to save Erza (the scene where she tells Gray to go to Erza because she's in danger, at the start of the arc. She willingly told Gray to leave her side and go to Erza!). On Tenrou, she wanted to ignore Wendy's wellbeing to look for Gray, and she was actually miffed she didn't get to do it. I don't like that.
But from childhood to now, the only Big Four I truly invested all my heart into for their development? Jerza. Jerza is good. I'm indifferent to it now because eh, they're not really written all that well as a whole, but I love their story. It's not about typical or unconventional love story tropes like Gruvia or Gajevy, Jerza is the story of two broken people who adore each other, just desperately finding a way to be together again. It seems like the entire world and fate's odds are always stacked against them and they're never allowed to be together, but they're trying their best anyways. it's slow, it's gradual, and it's a genuine healing process that needs a lot of time.
A lot of people complain about the almost-kiss at the beach, but I don't get it. People complain Gajevy is rushed and then say that Jellal should have kissed her there, as if that isn't the pure definition of rushing a romantic development. It was perfect that they didn't kiss there, because they're not there yet. Erza just got out of a seven year coma and is busy picking up her guild's pieces. Jellal's just gone on a seven year redemption road trip, barely recovering from brainwashing and amnesia and imprisonment, and he's wildly a different person, mentally, emotionally, and physically, from the last few times they've seen each other. (All of those situations were also bad, trauma-inducing situations.) Heading straight into romance from there is just ridiculous. I love that he pushed it away and stated that they needed more time. That moment enforced one fact--- that they understand each other (they both know the fiancee is a horrible lie), like they've always been able to do when they were young and when Jellal allowed himself to be arrested for what they thought was life. It made them emotionally closer once again, without taking things too far. It was one step forward, and they don't overachieve with another step. It was beautiful, because they were healing, not as people who are romantically involved, but as two people. They're very human, in the fact that neither of them want to truly and officially get together without being ready for a relationship. I love that.
I love talking about ships, as an aroace. Though, I think what I want to see in a 'romantic' relationship is different from what's usually given in media.
I like to describe romance the same way I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi. It's not real and a lot of the specifics and logic is dismissed as 'just how it is', but it's very enjoyable to feel involved in it, even if it's something I can never personally experience.

Phantom's Finished: A Year of Springs
This is a short but ever so sweet visual novel about queer women I got around Christmas, A Year of Springs!
Tumblr media
This game has 3 chapters, each focusing more on one of the three main characters: Haru (brown hair) Erika (blonde hair) and Manami (black hair) and goes into all of their struggles with themselves growing together but also an unaccepting society in Japan towards LGBT laws and expectations
It was a lovely sweet yet realistic story with loads of cute art and even paths! I def wanna go back and do other routes especially in chapter 1 and would love to see more bite sized visual novels like this, definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a shorter yet thought provoking experience
Tumblr media
SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT:
you gone?
good! This spoiler will be in four parts given the game has three chapters and an epilogue...
Tumblr media
This one focuses on Haru, despite it being about Manami's birthday. Manami really wants her dear friend Haru to come to the hot springs with her and her high school friend. But this leads to Haru feeling uncomfortable being a transgender women in women's spaces whilst she gets to know either Erika or talk to Manami and it really heavily goes into her struggles! Even having her in the hot spring at some point for some lovely relaxation and even a supportive staff member who has a trans sister! Very lovely introduction to the game
Tumblr media
Erika is the focus here! And it's about her trying to be better for Haru and treat her on her birthday, but finding that the world isn't as thoughtful about her friend as she thought before. It goes into Haru's fear of burdening (which is quite common in trans women, I relate) as Erika supports her to spend time together, and confessing feelings to Haru after getting her a pretend ID! They stay friends but Erika realises her crush is pretty strong, its very gay but very understanding about the trans experience of bringing awareness to it as well
Tumblr media
Final main chapter is for Manami! Where she realises that Erika and Haru have been acting weird around each other and wish to ask what's up. It gets to the point she calls Erika worried that her friends had a fight but then gets told that they're now dating!! It's early stages but Manami is confused as she doesn't experience the same feelings Haru and Erika do...
Panicking, she called Haru who comes over and they discuss together only for Haru to suggest that Manami is Ace and/or Aro, which Manami panics about and needs to go home. She eventually learns she is and needs to talk to Haru more, who is super supportive and helps her to talk to her boyfriend. He actually is super supportive! And wishes to figure it out together. I was extremely shocked that there was acearo rep! And it was so naturally handled with Manami feeling broken and a Haru (a trans woman) finding heavy relatability and using that to help Manami understand, it's so well handled and reminds me a lot of me and one of my closest friends... if you're reading this said friend, I love you a lot and I'm still so proud of you for being who you are 💙
Conclusion!
It ends super sweetly about them growing their lives and even Erika and Haru are in the middle of moving in together and Manami being a lot happier than she was before, with Haru reminiscing about her bad and good memories growing up as trans... it is so sweet and I adored this game so much and it was such a lovely start to 2023 of games I've played!!
Tumblr media
So what is next? I'm hoping to get back to Persona 5 Royal honestly but I doubt that'll be what I finish next, so probably a replaythrough of a shorter game I've been meaning to revisit like Metroid Dread? Find out next time on Phantom's Finished!

Tumblr media
Going back into my fnaf phase, I started creating these creatures, which are basically the normal animatronics except they're only the heads and legs. The very first one I made was one I referred to as "Bln By"
Tumblr media
I called them Bobins, and then made someone to create them: Joseph Bobirius, and I also wrote some lore behind these Bobins.
Joe was a kid who was a big fan of Freddy's, and one day I decided he wanted his own home animatronics. He began learning the basics of robotics and chose Foxy to be his first creation (Foxy was his favourite). He was able to make the head, legs, and gave it some very basic level of intelligence but couldn't figure out how to make the rest of the body. Despite this, he was still proud of his creation, and thus the first Bobin was born.
Tumblr media
With these cute creatures now in existence, I drew more of them. A friend requested I make Music Man, or "Msc Mn" as his Bobin varient is called, so I did. Then I came up with an additional lore point for the Bobins.
Joseph Boborus would go on to grow up into an art teacher. Even in his adulthood, he still kept going to Freddy's, taking notes on any new animatronics and making new Bobins. However, his job as a teacher limited his time to go and do this, and so a new Bobin was created to go into Freddy's for him.
Msc Mn was equipped with eyes that could record and take pictures, as well as suction cup like feet that allowed him to go unnoticed. Msc Mn was perfectly designed to look at new animatronics and take notes so Joe could make new Bobins. However, there was a mistake in Msc Mn's programming and he ended up going into places he should not have gone and looking at animatronics he should not have seen...
Tumblr media
I began to think that the Msc Mn would allow the Bobins to fit in quite nicely into this AU I have where the FNaF 6 fire doesn't happen and Michael Afton becomes the new Fazbear CEO, as it would allow Joseph and Michael to meet, allowed Joseph to see certain things he otherwise wouldve not met, such as the Scrap Animatronics, and maybe Joseph could learn to make robots that actually have arms.
Tumblr media
And for a few miscellaneous facts.
Joseph wouldn't know that the Funtimes were meant to be murder robots, and so he didn't give them the faceplate. Also Funtimes are called "Funkies" because they're quite funky.
I was also thinking that considering Help Wanted exists, Joseph could theoretically create phantoms. The phantom Bobins are called "spookies" instead of "phantoms" and are just as harmless. However, they are transparent and have the ability to go completely invisible. Spookies are also highly mischievous and use their ability to prank people and Bobins alike, most commonly appearing behind them and scaring them, hence the name.
Nightmare Bobins don't exist yet, but depending on how Help Wanted 2 goes, I might add them.
Tumblr media
"End," they are called, is just a sentient calculator who will do the math so that you don't even have to think about it.
The Trash Gang members such as "Cand" are not real Bobins, more rather, they just showed up in Joseph's garage one day, and no matter how hard Joseph tries, he can't get them to leave.
~~☆~~
That's now all the lore I've written about Bobins so far, so here's some other cute pictures I've drawn of them. Bye bye!!

*grabs you shoudlers and looks you in the eyes* vermillion
Vermilion......
honestly i kinda forgot about the anniv livestream so when my friends started tweeting stuff like "noel won" or "alkaloid never misses" i freaked out so bad LMAO
ANYWAY the mv left me speechless and motionless and breathless every single thing about it was so UGHHHHHHHHHH LET'S START WITH THE SONG ITSELF.
i was so surprised when i listened to it for the first time because vermilion feels a bit different compared to other alkaloid songs? but it still has that alkaloid vibe and feel to it and i'm honestly SO here for it. never expected a hiiro event to get a song like this but yeah that was a nice surprise lol
moving onto the choreography.... of course, alkaloid is still far, far away from becoming the second knights or something, but you can tell they've improved a LOT. their moves aren't stiff anymore, they can express their emotions not only with their faces and song, but also with their bodies and most importantly their choreography is not embarrassing to look at anymore lmao and ajhsjkhakjhdsjka I JUST LIKE IT A LOT OKAY. I'M SO PROUD OF MY CRINGE BABYGIRLS
I'M SO SO SOOOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS EVENT. the theme is so amazing and the stage..... dude the stage...................
i think about it now and the outfits have a valkaloid feel to them? a bit? the same about the choreography, but it's not a bad thing. i mean it in the most positive way possible i like it a lot when alkaloid put some references to their older mvs in their choreographies vvv
Tumblr media
i really can't wait for the tl of both the song and the event... i'm excited to see alkaloid overcome their troubles, especially hiiro, since he's supposed to be the 5 star
the thing that i also find interesting about vermilion and other alkaloid event songs is that they're kinda telling us one long story in a few parts...? like, if you look at the feather touch event, the main theme of it was "learning how to fly" etc, with the song's scene being sky themed...???
Tumblr media
next is phantom airship & believe 4 leaves which is about overcoming problems on the way and reaching the first destination
Tumblr media
aaaaaaaand well we're here now.
Tumblr media
anyway SORRY THIS IS SO LONG & I'M SORRY FOR USING YOUR ASK AS A THOUGHTDUMP I'M NEURODIVERGENT AND ILL

Stargazer’s Art History: Best of the Amino Era (Portal)
Around 2017, I joined Amino! Most of what I posted was Barbie-related, but there were a lot of good posts I had there so I'll be crossposting them here individually (and slowly). However, I also had some Portal-based stuff that I was pretty proud of.
Tumblr media
First up was this humanized GLaDOS design, based off of an earlier humanization I made of the Broken Age character Lorraine (the fork). This is basically what my design for Lorraine looked like, except in white/black/gold instead of blue/orange/white, and also a little more intense looking. She's a design I used in a sort-of-series I called "Project HuXLEY"—a Portal and Brave New World crossover. You can find that on AO3!
Tumblr media
I also made this watercolor painting of her! I don't paint with watercolors very often, so this was a fun experiment for me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This comic used lyrics from "The Mascot 3000" from Paul Shapera's New Albion Guide to Analogue Consciousness, which I thought would make great crossover content with Portal. I also wrote out this mess along the same lines:
[...] Anyway, without further dithering, let's get into the idea! Usually I would write this out as a fanfiction, but I have a nasty habit of writing a chapter or two and then never finishing it (R.I.P my Undertale x Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter x Drowsy Chaperone, and Harry Potter x Dolls of New Albion AU fanfics), so this time I'm just going to write out the whole timeline/idea in bullet points and half sentences.
The Cast
Chell as Rachael: our protagonists have to stick together! Also, in the original Atompunk Opera, Rachael is the one who escapes the asylum, learns about the past, and eventually goes free in Elysium (and is really the only one who does so). It kind of fits. Chell is believed by Rattmann to be Cave Johnson’s reincarnation. She’s not, though; she’s no one’s reincarnation, at least not from this universe.
The Companion Cube as the Mascot 3000: this one has changed since the original comic, and even since I first started writing this post. Originally, I had set GLaDOS as the Mascot because of the song from Act 4, but given the differences between Mascot and GLaDOS (personality and role-wise), that didn’t really work. My next thought was to have it be Wheatley, since the Mascot is Rachael's guide throughout the opera, and Wheatley is Chell's guide (originally). But that doesn’t work great either given the second half of Portal 2. I settled on the Companion Cube because a) the Mascot 3000 is given to Rachael by Connor, who I’ve made Doug in this version, b) the Mascot yearns for companionship and people to go on adventures with, and c) Rachael and the Mascot go off together to explore at the end of the atompunk opera. Unlike the atompunk opera characters, though, they're not half-siblings. Or, uh, Chell's not the non-reincarnation of its half-sibling. Whatever. It’s confusing.
Doug Rattmann as Connor: although he may or not be old enough to fulfill this kind of role following the canon Portal timeline (which is super duper confusing anyway), I figured he was kind of perfect for this role. Connor is originally an employee of Arcadia Corp., the Voodoopunks’ science company, is against their AI experiments (for him, though, it's because they're using his toddler child), and frees Rachael from the asylum. Or helps, at least. It's unclear. He also uses the radio (through Lee's song) to communicate to Rachael, whom he assumes is Adrian's reincarnation. In this AU, Rattmann fills many of the same roles: an Aperture employee who doesn’t agree with all they do, who aids the protagonist and, while not the primary culprit behind its use, is at least somewhat associated with the radio. He helps free Chell from her confinement, sends her on her way with the Companion Cube, and is trying to rescue Caroline from Elysium, I guess. (It’s a bit ironic, though, because in order to do that, Caroline will have to be uploaded into an AI—as was the plan for Lee in the original opera—thus becoming GLaDOS.)
Caroline as Adrian: I kept going back and forth as to whether Caroline should be Lee or Adrian, but settled on this, I guess—but modified a little bit. She went through the portal into Elysium along with Cave. She was killed basically immediately, and reincarnated into… Doug, I think? However, Doug thinks that she is the one in Elysium who is still alive—not Cave—and wants to save her. He doesn’t know she’s gone.
Cave Johnson as Lee: I don’t have a very good description here. He’s the one in Elysium using the radio to communicate out with a song, but I guess unlike in the Atompunk Opera it might just be like the Still Alive instrumental thing and that’s why Doug doesn’t know it’s Cave who’s still there and not Caroline.
Aperture Science as Arcadia Corp.: a given, I suppose. Instead of working on GLaDOS as a solution to Cave's moon rock poisoning, they just kind of try to shoehorn themselves into Elysium. I mean, they do work on AI for a while (hence the existence of Wheatley), but it's kind of a complicated mess, and then they realize "ooh, portals," and try to make one into the world of the dead. IDK, maybe they think that going there will make them immortal: "This illness can't kill me if I'm already dead, dammit!"
The Plot (kind of)
Alright, I’ll level with you—I started writing this like a year ago and now I don’t remember what I was doing with this at all, but I wanted to at least post what I had written. Anyway, I do know that in my mind this AU basically just followed the plot of the New Albion Guide to Analogue Consciousness, so what I’m gonna do is summarize song by song, I guess.
New Albion 9: Don’t worry about it. It’s the expositional worldbuilding song and we don’t care about it in this context.
Rachael: Somewhere in Aperture, Chell awakens. She escapes from where she has been confined or whatever and starts trying to find her way up and out. I think the backstory here was that Portal 1 wasn’t really a thing (b/c GLaDOS doesn’t exist rn); the scientists were re-focusing their energies on Project Elysium (getting into Elysium to live there/have Cave go there/whatever) instead of the handheld portal device, but they figured they’d need test subjects at some point and put her in long-term relaxation. Since many of the scientists died in the migration (also in whatever legal action was taken against them), no one was left to reawaken her except like… Doug, but that took a little while.
Introducing the Mascot 3000: Chell runs into Rattmann, who gives her the Companion Cube to guide her. It’s a little more sentient than usual in this version, or maybe Chell is hallucinating as a result of whatever soup of chemicals they had her on in long-term relaxation. She continues on.
The Shopogopolis: Aperture is Aperture, so there’s still things out there that could kill her—whether it be rogue AI, turrets, or the stray employees left (she doesn’t want them to know she’s out b/c they might put her back into LTR)—so while she isn’t hiding in one place like Rachael, she is sneaking around, trying to figure out what to do next.
What the Trite and Banal Say: Chell and the Companion Cube follow a rogue radio signal. It leads them to the back offices, where Rattmann is waiting for them. He wants to tell/show them a little bit about what has happened over the years in Aperture, maybe the Companion Cube has the capacity to show them, maybe not.
New Albion 8: Also exposition, but basically Aperture Science is as twisted as ever, but with an extra layer—this would bring us back in time first to describe Aperture’s golden days, then the goals of Project Elysium and how things were in the company right before they actually completed that—they’re convinced it’s a great idea to go there, because if Cave is already there, then by some twisted logic he won’t be able to die or whatever. Or maybe he just wants control over the dying.
Kyrie: I don’t know, this kind of describes the plot too. Cave is really talking up the whole plan, even though it’s probably not a great idea.
Connor: Doug Rattmann gets an aria to explain his reservations, I guess. He’s not romantically involved with Caroline like Connor is with his unnamed wife, but he is just as disillusioned with the company he’s working for and their goals.
The Lovers: Idk. This would be where Cave and Caroline are having a dialogue about the whole plan but I’m not sure it would be in the same style or of the same flavor.
The Deceit: I’m cutting this one, it isn’t needed here. But Rattmann is planning on sabotaging the operation IG.
The Voodoopunks’ Ascension: Kind of the same as the original. They’re crossing over.
Ark 1: The scientists who are still in Aperture (who didn’t go over) are checking in on the groups (who are Not Doing Well); Rattmann has ratted them out to the authorities or whatever for something illegal (cause there’s a lot of potential things that they could be reported for aside from, you know, trying to cross the bridge into the land of the dead). They shut things down (on the surface level; there’s still stuff going on in the lower levels and in the relaxation centers that no one finds). Rattmann did not realize that Caroline had gone with the group into Elysium and his plan had banked on her still being around to run the company.
Elysium 1: in the opera, this is just some vague commentary. We don’t really need it here.
Postcards from Perdition Trail: the Aperture folks who went through before Doug ratted them out are stuck in Elysium now, and it’s Bad for the same reason as in the Atompunk Opera. It’s not great being Alive in the land of the dead because the creatures will kill you.
Lee: Cave sings his musings on the situation and the loss of Caroline (who was killed by the creatures and thus reincarnated into Chell IG(but not really; if we’re following the Atompunk Opera to the letter, then technically Caroline would have reincarnated into… Doug?).
Rachael Returns and The Moth: Chell and the Companion Cube arrive in Elysium. It was at this point in my writing that I switched Cave to being Lee and Caroline to being Adrian, so if there’s inconsistencies in my writing, that's why. Anyway Doug has that personal interest in saving Caroline—but she died. He did not know Caroline was killed but knows Chell is special. When Cave hears that someone is coming through, he thinks it’s Caroline reincarnate and is disappointed that it’s not her.
The Show No One Saw: Chell is bitter that this whole thing was for nothing—there was no Caroline to save (her mission) AND Cave was very dismissive and rude. She runs.
The Mascot 3000 and In This Episode: The Companion Cube gets some songs explaining its origin and drive for, well, companionship. (They ARE sentient, you know.)
The Rescue Plan, The Creatures Speak, and Lost Night’s Lullabye: Cave confronts Chell like “are you nuts?” thinking the creatures are gonna kill her. The Cube gets everyone’s attention and gives them the choice to either “go through the gate” and reincarnate OR be put into a robot body back in Aperture. If Caroline was still there, they’d have told her she HAS to upload but she’s dead. Cave is going to upload himself but gets killed. Those who want to are uploaded (minus Cave). Chell stays in Elysium with the Cube—symbolically, she’s already dead.
Connor Reprise: Doug waits indefinitely for Chell, Caroline, and the Companion Cube as the other Aperture folks upload.
New Albion 10: Narration to say goodbye.

Conversation
Danny Phantom Randomness (Good Vlad Meets The Danny Program)
Good Vlad: Wait, you mean to tell me you cloned Daniel?! How could you? I know we've always wanted a son but... *is ashamed if this alternate self*
Daniel's Vlad: What I do with my life and my family is my business, not yours. You can't judge me. *grumbles irritably*
Daniel: Hey, guys, don't fight! You're both my dad so...isn't that all that matters? *gives them his puppy dog eyes*
Both Vlads: *try to look serious but are inwardly squealing happily since they're just so proud of their son for using his natural innocence to exploit their one weakness for making their loved ones happy above all else"
Good Vlad: I take it back, he is clearly still very much Daniel. Can I borrow him for a bit? I'd love to learn more about him. *says after ruffling the boy's hair affectionately*
Daniel's Vlad: What? No, hands off my son you cretin! *shows him the scary eyes and hugs Daniel protectively* Touch him again and you'll be a full ghost in a matter of seconds!
Daniel: Dad, seriously, it's no big deal! He's not going to-hey wait a second-! *His Vlad teleports them away after giving Good Vlad one final death glare that practically said 'no touchy my son weirdo'*
