❗️ Actor Jes Jespipat was announced as the replacement for Build Jakapan in the upcoming Be On Cloud BL 4 Minutes. B. previously withdrew from the project after a defamation lawsuit involving him and his ex girlfriend in 2023. The project is now in production and will likely air towards the end of the year.

❗️ Actor Maiake Kandis announced his withdrawal from the upcoming BL Red Peafowl. He was originally cast as one of the leads, being paired with Dollar Patchara. He later came forward saying his statement was fake news and that he is in fact not withdrawing. He also said he does not know if or when the production will start.

❗️ Former GMMTV actor Fluke Pusit (The Shipper, The Warp Effect) was announced as the lead actor in the upcoming BL Your Dear Daddy. He will star alongside Poonpun Jitaboon, an air date is unknown.

❗️ Domundi actors TutorYim (Cutie Pie, Middlemans Love) were announced as the leads in the upcoming BL Battle of the Writers. The show will be produced by Hydroindus Entertainment and is based on the Chinese novel "The Great Battle of Games". ❗️ Lay Talay and Perth Nakhun (My Engineer) reunited for a mini series called Your Tie is Crooked, consisting of 3 episodes à 2 minutes. It was released on the Japanese streaming platform TVer on March 11th.

❗️ The premiere of the upcoming BL Wuju Bakery has been postponed to September. It was originally scheduled to air in March, though due to an increase of the episode length and general production upscaling, the original air date is no longer realizable, according to the production.

❗️ Change 2561 (Pit Babe) announced an upcoming original BL called This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans. Sailub and Pon (AlanJeff in PB) will star as the lead couple, alongside GarfieldBenz and others. A first trailer was released on March 20th.

❗️ Actor Yoon Phusanu revealed that he has left his management under Y Entertainment, following a dispute about his appearance in the 2023 Thai BL For Him. In a press conference he stated that the production cut his part completely and refused to pay him in the process. Main actors Dew N. and Tor A. later disclosed that they also encountered the issue of not receiving payment for their work from the company, along with accusations of se*ual assault from members of the production team. In an official statement Y Entertainment clarified they would transfer the actor's salaries as soon as possible.

13: Elinor Wonders Why

This one is the most underrated PBS Kids shows in my opinion, And i really adore Ari Bat who's my comfort character now!

12: Littlest Pet Shop

This fandom was such a cutesy childhood show based on the toyline of the same name, And my new comfort character from the fandom is ButterCream Sundae!

11: BreadWinners

Although many people hates its extreme grossness and stuff, I found this show funny nowadays, And i love SwaySway so much that he's becoming one of my comfort characters!

10: Pucca

One of my childhood fandoms in South Korean history, And my main comfort ship is Pucca and Garu but in my AU they're such Toric cuties!

9: The Epic Tales Of Captain Underpants

This Netflix show that's based on the comic/novels by Dav Pilkey is very awesome and underrated in my opinion, And i love Mr. Krupp, Captain Underpants, George and Harold very much!

I know there are lots of negative comments among Korean theater fans, about how poor the Korean translations are. But I did like some parts. I won't say I'm fully satisfied with the translations but some parts were really touching just like the original ones. Hope they make progress in the future. 😊

i dont normally send asks but i came across ur blog and you have some really cool ideas when it comes to personification stuff,, ur like one of the few other ppl ive found that actually includes polandball and countryhumans in personified fandom stuff so id love to hear ur ideas abt them!! as someone with a fascination with fandom history id be down to discuss stuff more with u if u wanna

uh *checks notes* I am going to assume you mean their dynamic/hcs about each!! I’ve never delved very deeply into Countryhumans fandom history/her dynamics with the others because. Controversy but I still do have lots of ideas about her. And she is *the* quintessential Canonless G(A) fandomspirit to me, probably because she’s the first one I was part of. You get into G(A) through Hetalia, Countryhumans, or Polandball mostly and they’re the faces of the whole place so,,, very well defined House triad here.

What I do say is CH is PB and Hetalia’s conceptual daughter (her premise is kind of both of theirs mashed together) but Hetalia and the other two are separated by the Canon-Canonless divide (and the fact that he has a husband) and thus don’t talk as much. (Which is funny because his two actual sons, Fandomstuck and Socialstuck, are both Canonless.) Also, he gets into Reality more often because he has more cosplayers. But their dynamic is more like older-younger sibling, they swing back and forth between working together well (sharing headcanons and Netizens) and actually beating each other up (raids). From what I’ve seen, and I’m mostly saying this from CH’s POV, he’s more likely to start it than she is.

Both of them are a little scared of each other, PB because he has a lot of overlap with her and is the closest to seeing inside of her brain (he’s read her writing before) and is uncomfortable around it, CH because she can never tell when PB is being sarcastic and when he actually means what he says. She usually assumes he’s being serious.

Also, fandomspirits don’t get as possessive of their people as much as OTJs do, which, considering the way they feed, is probably a good thing. So they don’t fight about who gets the food; they’re content, and CH even likes receiving less because it’s made her swings less severe.

I have no idea what’s going on with her right now because I can’t check her tag and no longer use Wattpad (her Wattpad room is way more active than her AO3 room from what I remember) for personal reasons, but is the Save the Countryhumans Fandom thing still happening?

Fun fact: she’s the second fandomspirit of Countryhumans. The first one was the Country Guardian, Nadia. She got thrown into temporary leave for killing another Guardian which she felt (feels) guilty about even with most of her memories wiped.

CH’s rooms in G(A) are vandalized to hell and back. She’s used to it.

What I meant about swings: she has periods of making shipping Whatever the Hell She Wants (btw in the personifverse G(A) is technically RPF) and then periods of feeling incredibly guilty about it.

Wikipedia, Britannica and JSTOR are her favorite places.

All of her spin-offs (Statehumans, Planethumans, social media humans (subordinate of Socialstuck in the twins’ journalism business)) live in her head but can manifest bodies at will. Planethumans is the most independent one.

She’s jealous of Centricide because they get to unironically ship Nazis and Communists without people yelling at them.

Actually she’s jealous of pretty much every other G(A) member.

Physically 14 because that’s what everyone sees her people as. Russian-Brazilian, I think? Russian definitely (VK). But no one knows exactly where she came from. Also Korean. Maybe. Everyone sees something different.

Oh!! Oh!! She’s thinking about sending ambassadors to Collab Horror (where SCP lives). I’m the result. I’ve been tasked with giving her another child :) I’m trying I know I don’t talk to her a lot anymore but I still love her

I know you came here half for PB but I don’t have many headcanons about him :( he is definitely the face G(A) would most like to show to the public, and really good at art (terrible at writing) except he can’t be bothered to try mostly. (I’ve been on some of his subreddits some of the pictures are pure eye candy)

I hope this doesn’t spark an argument because I don’t want this to be the third site I kick myself out of.

I'm so sad to see whb has been delayed again, especially since it's just a few days since the scheduled release but honestly I expected it when the final devil has to even be teased. I don't want to get too upset at prettybusy because they're a really small team making a large game but they have a seemingly long running habit of making promises they can't keep and it's hurting people's faith in them. My patience is really wearing thin.

I can't imagine how upset Korean players are after finding out they won't be able to play the game they've been looking forward to literally 6 days before release. Also why do the refunds mean global release has to be delayed?? I may not know anything about game development but I genuinely don't understand the reasoning here.

Honestly, I don't know a lot about game development or running one either, but I also don't understand why the game being pulled in the Korean market means they can't release globally either. In fact, I would think holding the global release would be better because (and this is the part of my brain that understands they're a business) they could start getting in game purchases which would stock their coffers and give them more cushion to carry out the refunds. Of course, it could be that they are delaying so they don't have to worry about the cost of the servers atm, but I would think getting the money for the game they have clearly sunk a pretty penny into would be a top priority.

And, like, it sucks for the Korean players. It really does. I would hate to be told that I literally cannot play the game I have been looking forward to for half a year. It's a shitty situation, especially since PrettyBusy is Korean based. I don't know what the issue they are facing is, but I feel like they should have announced sooner that it was happening. Like I said, these announcements keep coming really late. Almost like they are panicking to find solutions so they can try and weasel out of telling the fanbase the bad news instead of being upfront once they know something is wrong.

Honestly, I understand faith in PB getting shaky (mine is). This is delay number three, which builds up expectations you don't want people to have. I feel like it wouldn't be as disappointing if they had just delayed further in the future from the start. It's not the length of delay that hurts. It's how many delays there have been. I was literally talking to someone today about how I felt the game was going to be delayed again (and it was). It doesn't help that some games get announced and then never touched (again, Ark Academy).

I know people are mentioning that the PB team is small (less than 30 people by the sounds of it), but that isn't actually the issue I have. I get if the team is small. If that's what makes it too hard to release and issue refunds, then fine. What bothers me is the lack of transparency until they literally have to say something. If the issue was that Korean players literally couldn't register, then they knew about that for a while. They could have (and should have) said something. They could have started dealing with the issue earlier or issuing refunds when they realized they couldn't fix it.

It's a build up of things that starts to get to you.

Personally, this is the last delay I will be patient with. Anything more and I will likely stop following the game until it magically drops (if it drops). I believe actions more than words, and the lack of communication and constant delays sets the tone for me, no matter how politely they word their announcements.

EDIT: I want to clarify that I do feel sympathy for PrettyBusy. They are a Korean studio and have found they cannot release in their own home country. That has to suck for them and their Korean fanbase. They are doing the right thing giving refunds. That does not change that I wish they would communicate better. They should have been upfront when they started having issues, not when they were so close to launching. This issue didn't just pop up. It must have already been happening in the background, but they choose not to say anything. It's the lack of communication that bothers me. The Korean players probably knew firsthand that there were issues, but I don't believe they ever released an official statement. They never addressed trying to help them or saying they didn't think they could help them. It was announced right before the delay/cancellation (for Korean). It's the constant last minute delays and not hearing anything until the last second that bother me. If they had said earlier that they would need to delay again, I would probably be less critical. The Korean fanbase has it the worst right now, but that does not mean the global fanbase isn't also dealing with the issue of lack of communication. That is the issue.

AH OK SO . i’ll put it utc 👍 i hope i explain it ok ☠️ i didnt really keep up with what was happening with mingi but im p sure his issue got cleared up pretty quickly and i didn’t see too much hate towards him

basically they [sb, wz] were getting flamed because people noticed an anime they’d mentioned watching called made in abyss. it (quoting from google) “follows the story of an orphaned girl named riko, who finds and befriends a part-robot boy named reg, and descends with him into the titular "abyss" that leads deep into the earth, in hopes of exploring it and finding her mother.” and i think was actually pretty popular when it came out because people really liked the world building & the plot, but there was also some darker elements to it (gore, and some weird fetishy shit related to the child mcs) that people found strange. that and the fact that apparently the mangaka is kind of a freak irl was enough for people to start calling them out for reading something that i saw some people call ‘child torture fetish porn.’

personal thoughts here for a sec - i get wanting to hold your idols accountable for talking about things you think are a bit sketch (especially to a large audience such as when you’re on a livestream), but also i think some people were taking it a bit too far? going to the lengths of using a term as weighty as ‘pedo’ was something i don’t think should’ve ever came into the conversation [when being used to refer to sb, wz, & other idols who were dragged into it]. the calls to kick them out of their respective groups were also a little weird to me (with wz especially like 😭 that is one of svt’s actual backbones please be serious. plus they were never going to get kicked out because people on twitter wanted them to anyway) but . Yeah .

anw. woozi’s was cleared up because he only mentioned mia once on a stream as one in a list of animes that he’d started but hadn’t had the time to continue because of. tours? concerts? one of the two. he didn’t speak any more about it than that. with soobin, while he did specifically talk about mia on a weverse live, he did also say that he wouldn’t recommend it because of the provocative themes in the show. those things (plus if you take into account what heavy censorship it would’ve gone through before it would’ve even been thought about being broadcasted on south korean tv) stopped a lot of the hate coming towards them and i think things have (mostly) blown over now 👍 my tl is mostly ab the news ab seunghan.

i think thats it??? things were pretty bad with sb but oh my god TAEYONG?? sol i was in the trenches . hope this kind of explained tbings for u bsf 😓

maybe a food diary for today would be fun

9am i woke up and had bplate breakfast ft kd!!! i got oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon, a pita chicken egg stack, banana wheat waffle, and yogurt w mangoes blueberries and pb! with a nice cup of oolong tea :) also took a banana for da road and it was perfect! overall 7/10

11am i got a tall matcha latte extra matcha w soy and a hot americano at anderson! 5/10 but the vibes were 8/10

[Piano man Op. 9]의 오푸스 넘버 ‘9’ 오푸스(Opus / Op.)는 작품 번호를 뜻한다. 레오는 미니 3집 앨범에 대한 애정이 가득한 만큼 이 넘버를 직접 정했다. 레오에게 ‘9’는 남다른 숫자다. 처음으로 ‘노래’를 부르며 살고 싶다고 생각한 나이 9살, 그리고 영어로 된 곡을 한글로 적어 처음 따라 불러본 곡의 발매일 1999년. 아티스트 레오에게 ‘9’는 시작이었다.

Friday-Saturday, January 26th-27th: Someone to lava

Grabbed PB Fish shop in a Hawaiian-style vacation dress yellow-and brown with ruching at the waist (dress for the life you want) with Monika yesterday. The vibe was perfect. Elote fries, girl talk, and a couple of glasses of white wine.

Connor and my date last night was at the Grass Skirt- a tiki bar with amazing food. I wore a one-shoulder black body suit with pearl detailing and my leather pants. We had California rolls in the style of crispy tacos, Korean BBQ-style soft tacos, and these delicious baby soup dumplings. He's so easy to talk to.

Today we grabbed lunch at Second Nature where I laughed until I cried about a story where his beloved late dog Ruby was dug up from her resting place by his other dog, who proudly carried her leg bone around like a stick.
