I need you to understand this fundamental bit of the bubbline dynamic where if Marceline were to mention at 4 am that "waffles are just pancakes with abs" Bubblegum would tell her to go the fuck to sleep and then she'd open her eyes so wide like this 👁👁 and they'd be all red and dry because she spent all night thinking about it. Marceline would wake up the next day to find pancakes with abs running around her bedroom and Bubblegum would tell her "see? These are actual pancakes with abs. Waffles would have abs also on their faces and that would be kind of weird but I'm trying to make it work" and they'd start making out.
