Desmond Tutu

Fue un clérigo y pacifista sudafricano nacido en Klerksdorp en octubre de 1931, que adquirió fama internacional en la década de los 80 por su lucha contra el apartheid. Laureado con el premio Nobel de la Paz en 1984.

Fue hijo de una empleada doméstica y de un maestro director de una escuela misionera.

Aunque fue bautizado como metodista, en 1943 se convirtió a la iglesia anglicana.

Intentó ser médico pero sus precarias condiciones económicas le impidieron tener fondos suficientes para esa carrera, por lo que se licenció como maestro en 1953.

En 1955 obtuvo un bachelor degree en La Universidad de Sudáfrica. Se casó y tuvo 4 hijos.

Vivió 5 años en Londres y a su regreso estudió un doctorado el cual no concluyó, para 1975 era el primer obispo negro de la iglesia de la provincia meridional en Sudáfrica.

En 1986, fue nombrado arzobispo de la Ciudad del Cabo, posición desde la cual colaboró para la transición democrática de su país.

Historia

Abogó constantemente por la reconciliación entre todos los grupos implicados en el apartheid, denunciando las diversas violaciones a los derechos humanos de la población de color, condenando a los grupos que propiciaban actuaciones violentas.

Junto con Steve Biko, Tutu llamó a la población a la desobediencia civil.

En octubre de 1984, le fue otorgado el Premio Nobel de la Paz, por su constante lucha contra el apartheid.

Tras el fin oficial de la política del apartheid y el surgimiento de las elecciones democráticas de 1994, (en donde resultó triunfador Nelson Mandela con el 62% de los comicios), Tutu fue nombrado como director para la verdad y la reconciliación, denunciando las atrocidades cometidas por ambos bandos, siendo un referente en todo el mundo.

En julio de 2010, Tutu anunció su retiro de la vida pública, siendo parte de diferentes grupos defensores de la libertad y los derechos humanos.

En los últimos años Tutu se había mantenido alejado de la vida publica debido a su edad y problemas de salud derivados de un cancer de próstata diagnosticado en 1997.

Muere a la edad de 90 años en Ciudad del Cabo en diciembre del 2021.

Do you ever wonder if deep down, in Luffy's heart, he doesn't let himself worry about Zoro because he genuinely can't? Because the alternative is simply too horrifying to contemplate for even a second?

Think about how awful it was for Luffy when he lost someone very dear to him at Marineford. This person had even promised — promised! — Luffy that he would never die. That he would never leave him alone. Yet this person who was supposed to be Luffy's constant was ripped away from him, and Luffy was powerless to stop it.

"Devastated" doesn't even come close to describing the abject despair Luffy felt at that moment. He completely shut down and went catatonic.

#We talk about Zoro's devotion toward Luffy #but we don't really talk about Luffy's borderline irrational faith in Zoro #Especially pre-timeskip #when it seems like Zoro was horribly injured more often than not #and there are times where Luffy comes across as insensitive at best and uncaring at worst *COUGH* thriller bark *COUGH*#Not saying Luffy doesn't care. S-Leopard or S-Seal headcanons/speculation because fun or something-- under cut

So, I'm highly doubting this seraphim exists for various reasons. Two being:

1) Law was not part of the first 7 warlords

2) The Op Op Fruit would be god damn op

3 (edit): lmao the recent anime episode reminded me they were shown all 7 seraphim pods. However, this *is* a special case, so who freaking knows.

Leo is likely not the first of the S-Leopard model to exist thanks to the ability to grant immortality. One work around I assume is maybe the seraphim can be "repaired"?

Hence...

Since these seraphim may have been multi-produced to give people immortality, they may not have been given the whole hyper-aging or gigantification the other seraphim experience.

While he obviously takes most after Law, he also has some traits of King as the other seraphim do.

Leo has...

Incredible strength & training

The ability to memorize entire books within seconds to minutes.

Adaptability to new techniques or battle styles.

A smaller replica of Kikoku

A love for soft & cute animals (resulting in Bepo being his "favorite" parent but mom's a close second since she's a mink too.)

A serious personality + is impulsive and short tempered

A love for knowledge / Medical knowledge

Law's core beliefs such as not directly killing people unnecessarily

Some of Law's core memories (although vague) of the Donquixote family.

A similar taste pallet and dress preference to Law (and King)

I like to think since seraphim are cyborgs they have humanity. Leo tends to gather his morals the more he reads about things like psychology, social studies, history, ext as well as the Heart Pirates' influences.

Everything about Saint Saturn's entrance really screams demonic despite the fact that the world nobles delude themselves into thinking they are gods. It really doesn't help it looks like a demonic ritual summoning which would be fitting for a bunch of false deluded people with god complexes.
