1 | in which Tim Drake tries to propose to the PA
Part 1 of No Mr. Wayne You Can't Adopt Me! | Masterlist
Bruce tried not to flinch as he sat down on his swiveling chair. He had twisted his ankle from pursuing Penguin's goons the previous night but had to cover it up for work. Sure, he was used to hiding injuries and slipping into his CEO persona, but that didn't mean his muscles weren't sore and beat-up.
Just in time, his PA entered the office, carrying a stack of folders and a hot mug of coffee. "Here are the partnership offers I filtered from the initial pile." She placed the papers atop his desk. "I've also noticed that there is a defect in the new prototype of the research department that they are yet to attend to."
Bruce frowned. "But isn't the demo and meeting for it scheduled today?"
"Yes, that's why I've convinced the head supervisor to push it back to next week after they deal with the defect," Marinette reported. "I've also postponed the investors meeting to tomorrow since there was a delay in the materials."
She lowered her voice as if relaying a secret. "I noticed you have difficulty walking today, Mr. Wayne. With your modified schedule, all your work can be done here at your desk. If there's other legwork to do, I'll take care of it."
Somehow, in perfect timing, Marinette always managed to accommodate the times when he was injured. Bruce didn't know if he was getting bad at hiding it because of his old age or if the girl's intuition was just crazy sharp. Maybe it was both. He cleared his throat. "Thank you, Marinette. I appreciate it."
She opened up the first folder in front of him and transferred the mug to an electric warmer. "Another skiing accident?"
"Not as bad this time. Just a twisted ankle."
Next, she lowered the blinds just to allow just a peek of the sunlight and prepared a snack tray on a circular table beside his desk. Bruce never communicated the particulars about his preferences and he wasn't actually picky about his office space (unlike his son-slash-co-CEO). But this PA of his, just somehow knows. Like Alfred-levels of expertise. It creeped him out a little if he were to be honest.
She clasped her hands behind her back. "Anything else, Mr. Wayne?"
"None at the moment, thank you."
She raised an eyebrow.
. . . Which drew out a sigh from him. "Fine. Can you maybe help limit Tim's caffeine intake today? He had too many cups last night and he didn't listen when I told him to take the time off today."
"Of course, I'll do that right away." She nodded in satisfaction.
When she left, Bruce pulled up a tab on his computer to search for the legal documents, wondering if there was etiquette about an employer legally adopting their employee.
***
Marinette entered the office of Tim Drake after receiving a greeting from Tam at her desk beside the door. The young PA kept her hands behind her back as she approached the boy who was glued to his computer screen. Upon closer look, she could see the heaviness under his eyes, accentuated by the dark circles on his pale skin.
"I looked into your request of acquiring a commission piece from M.D.C.," Marinette told him.
There was only a slight shift in his exhausted expression—a downturn of the mouth—before his scratchy voice replied. "I thought they don't accept commissions anymore."
"Yes, but I re-visited our correspondence and apparently they still make pieces for selected clients." She took a deep breath. "And I got you an in."
The clicking of the mouse suddenly paused, followed by the widening of Tim's red-rimmed eyes. He practically crawled out of his seat to kneel before Marinette to take her hand in his. "Please marry me."
Marinette gently pulled away. "Sorry, Mr. Drake, my contract with Mr. Wayne prohibits me from marrying or getting into a relationship with any of his children."
"Why?!" Tim cried out.
"Perhaps he precisely predicted this kind of situation." She smiled apologetically. "And by my guess, I think he wants to adopt me first and not marry into the Wayne family."
Not that she actually wanted to be the newest addition to her boss' family.
With a pout, Tim retreated back to his chair while muttering about Bruce's adoption addiction. But in a second, he brightened up once more as he seemingly remembered the new opportunity he gained with M.D.C. "I have to compile my requests for the clothes!" He furiously tapped at his keyboard.
Marinette's heart went out for Tam. It looked like Tim wasn't getting proper work done that day again.
"I will forward the list to M.D.C. as soon as it's ready," she assured.
And while the co-CEO was immersed in researching designs in his half-conscious state, Marinette brought out the mug from behind her back and exchanged the coffee on his desk with decaf: a custom brew which was guaranteed to help him sleep for the afternoon.
In triumph, she exchanged thumbs-ups with Tam through the glass window of the office.
***
Marinette kept a watchful eye on Bruce's office to keep anyone from entering and disturbing the boss. But when she peeked into the room to deliver more files to him, she saw Bruce facing the open window and talking softly with Superman himself, who was at the other side of the glass.
Fortunately, neither of them seemed to notice her. She closed the door slowly and leaned her back against it, wondering if she should be guarding the door with her life. At the strike of bad luck, one of the company executives was heading straight towards the direction of the office.
He shot her a look as she blocked the way. Head to toe. "Mr. White," she greeted slowly.
"I have some papers Mr. Wayne must sign urgently." He narrowed his eyes.
"Sorry." She forced out a smile. "Mr. Wayne is a little . . . preoccupied at the moment. Why don't I take those papers off your hands and I'll have him sign them later?"
The executive clutched the stack tightly as if it were some precious treasure. "No, I need to have them signed now. If you can let me in, I'm sure Mr. Wayne won't mind a short interruption."
He stepped to the side but she moved in his way just as swiftly. Marinette sighed inwardly. This is beyond my paycheck. And judging by how White went here on his own, it must be some fund-farming project proposal Mr. Wayne would never agree to.
"Get out of my way!" He cried out. "Who do you think you are?!"
"I apologize, but Mr. Wayne is meeting an important guest. Under no circumstances must he be disturbed," she told him firmly. "I'm certain the papers can wait. He's not going anywhere."
"Listen here," Mr. White spat out. "I have more authority over you. You will do as I say right now!"
"Mr. White—"
"I will tell Mr. Wayne how incompetent you are! Rude to company executives! How dare you speak to me like this?!" Marinette stared with disinterest as his neck turned red and his forehead threatened to pop a vessel.
"What is going on here?"
Marinette felt the door open behind her to reveal Bruce, looking at White with clear exasperation. What she didn't expect was a bespectacled man emerging from behind her boss clad in business clothes.
"Mr. Wayne!" The executive squeaked. "I need you to sign these—"
"Did you not hear my PA?" Bruce punished him with a cold look. "I was receiving a guest. And you had the nerve to cause a commotion right outside my office."
"But—"
"Leave. Now."
Mr. White scurried away, tail between his legs, as other passing employees whispered to each other. Marinette stepped aside to give way to the two men.
Bruce cleared his throat. "Thank you for your time, Clark. I'll get back to you soon."
Superman—Clark—responded with a nod and a gentle smile before excusing himself out of the area. Marinette watched his back whilst he left. If anyone looked more attentively, they'd notice that the button-up and slacks Clark was wearing was too tight for his size, pointing to the fact that they were Bruce's and not his.
"Marinette, if you can keep quiet about . . ." Bruce trailed off, face twisting as he tried to pick his words carefully. She, of course, would know that no guest had entered his office despite Clark Kent exiting it only a few moments ago.
"Don't worry, Mr. Wayne. I won't tell anyone about your affair with Mr. Kent," she promised before walking back to her desk.
"Thank you . . . Wait, my what?"

writers block is kicking my ass so I am procrastinating. sorry tweos stans i’ll get over it I promise <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
presenting my newest blasphemy contribution to the fandom! :) my own Loveybug AU within TWEOS :) (that's the one where ladybug tries to kill chat btw. more than once) (forgive me @asukiess)
More info under the cut :)))
Faux Paws: Catwalker if all of the life and joy and wonder had been sucked out of him and spat on the fucking floor.
After the countless abuses Lucky Lucky Ladybug has subjected him to, Chat Noir feels this is the only way to make it stop, as he genuinely believes that ‘leaving’ is not a viable option. As such, Faux Paws is Adrien under the impression that there is no escape and there will never be an escape from the abuse in his lives as Chat or as Adrien, so he defaults to what would best shield him from harm—becoming calloused, robotic, and often entirely mute.
His name is based off of “Faux Pas”, an embarrassing remark or action, and reflects this notion that he’s accepted that his true self is nothing more than a mistake/blunder.
Lovey Dovey Ladybug: Now that she thinks that Chat Noir is out of her life for good, Lovey Dovey sees no reason to be hostile towards Faux Paws. In fact… she doesn’t understand why he’s so distant! That, and the notion that this new holder reminds her of her crush Adrien Agresté, leads to a Marinette under the impression that she can be the one who ‘fixes’ Faux Paws’s cold bad boy exterior with her kindness and love.
As a result, she stands out not just as a very “Cupid-y” Loveybug variant, but as a literal (yet fake) angel, halo headband and all.
Her name simply replaces “Lucky Lucky” with “Lovey Dovey”, giving off the impression that, although she has made changes to herself as a person, there is little actual difference at heart since she doesn’t see anything wrong with her previous actions. (This is also seen in the fact that her buns are still hearts, just upright as opposed to upside down). Her costume is also heavily based off of Lucky Lucky’s “idol” costume as well, as opposed to the “battle” one.

Damian the Dog
Inspired by Grumpy Cat, written by @adrestar
------
So what if Marinette moved to Gotham Academy, probably because of Lila bullshit or Guardian Duties.
She is mostly alone so she get a dog who she named Damian.
I actually look up on what type of dog she would have because I don't have a lot of knowledge on dogs. I wanted a small cute black dog. I am going with a Pomeranian or a Scottish Terrier.
It's all fine and going dandy. When one day, Damian overhears the new girl talking about him.
Marinette of course has zero interest in celebrities so she has no clue she is in the same class as Damian Wayne. Her classmates asked if she had any pets so she starts talking about her cute little Dami and showing off pictures of him.
"Look at my Dami. Isn't he adorable?" Marinette cooed, "I just love running my hands through those thick black luscious hair."
Damian gets the idea that Marinette is a stalker or a fangirl who is deluded herself into thinking she is dating him but brushes her off as mostly harmless. He can correct her at any time she steps out of the line.
Let the misunderstandings commence!
Fast forward the next few days, where Marinette keeps talking about her dog and no one has clued her in on the fact that there is a human with the same name as her dog going to classes with her.
Human Damian thinks she has very active imagination, going as far as to fake bite marks on her arms after a supposed passionate embrace.
(Damian the Dog is still being trained. Idk abt raising dogs so I hope I am right.)
The weekend arrive and Damian is at the dog park with Titus. Then he heard the insufferable voice calling out for him,
"Damian. Where are you? Come out. Damian. Dami."
He hid himself for a while, hoping she will give up sooner or later. But no, she keeps coming closer to the spot where he was hiding and calling out his name. Then, Titus blew his cover by coming back with the ball he was sent to fetch.
Thinking he had no choice but to reveal himself, he burst out of the bushes, scaring Marinette.
Meanwhile, Marinette was at the dog park to let Damian out of the apartment and get some exercise. She was kept an eye on him as he ran around but after a phone call from Jagged Stone for a new jacket, she had lost sight of her dog.
Then, while she looked for Damian the dog, someone jumped out of the bushes, giving her a scarce.
She realised that he was a boy from her classes and before she could ask if he had seen her dog, he began yelling at her.
"Listen up, harlot. Get out of your delusional fantasies of dating me and leave me alone." He yelled at a very confused Marinette. Human Damian continued to threaten her with lawsuits on the grounds of stalking, defamation and false claims.
Marinette gets fucking pissed at what the rude guy was yelling at her for no reasons but before she could retort, he stomped away with his dog trailing behind him.
"Come on, Titus. We don't have spend more time with this waste of space."
Marinette is so furious that if she was in Paris, she would have been akumatised for sure. She decided to calm down and go look for Damian, not the human. Arriving at home, she found a lawyer waiting for her and they handed her a thick files of all the charges she was being sued for. It was official she had met someone worse than the Chloe Bourgeosis.
So Marinette decides to stress bake about the problem. Ultimately, she made too much and decided to give away some to her next door neighbour, Jason.
Marinette had been living in Gotham for about a month and Jason knows about her habit to stress bake. They first met when Jason accidentally snuck up on her and she judo-flipped him who was 3 times bigger than her. Jason is impressed and Marinette is mortified. They became friends. Jason cooks her meals sometimes and she bake him desserts. It was a fair trade.
Anyway, Jason asks about her problem and Marinette starts a rant about this rich entitled dick she met who was from her class and she had coincidentally met him at the dog park while looking for Damian. Then, he called her a bunch of insults and names, accused her of stalking him and he had sent lawsuits to her address. Which was bad because she had her business as MDC to consider and this will affect her income.
While ranting, Marinette saw Jason's law degree which he had displayed, partially for his cover as a normal civi but mostly to brag to his siblings about being the only one who graduated from college and law school and rub it in Bruce's face. (We all seen the Jason became a lawyer to get Joker a death sentence post right? So Joker is dead here.)
"Can you be my lawyer? Or can you recommend me one? I promise I can pay you."
Jason patted her head, "Pixie, I will do this for free. I don't know which prick decided to mess with you but I will make him pay. Besides, I can't stand guys like that. You are actually doing me a bit of a favor to knock someone like that down a few pegs. Legally."
Marinette insisted to pay him but Jason compromised to get a cake for an entire month instead for taking the job.
When Jason looked through the papers, he noticed it was from the Wayne Family Lawyers so he decided to go to the Manor to get to the bottom of it. Jason arrived in the middle of Damian on a warpath.
He asked Tim who was the closest and furiously typing on his laptop about what is going on with Damian.
Tim answered, "Apparently there's this girl who is stalking Damian. She claimed to be dating him at school and she showed up while he was out with Titus, looking for him. Right now, I am just checking if she is just delusional and harmless or someone dangerous."
Jason connects the dots between Dog Damian and Human Damian and he tried not to burst out laughing right then and there. "That's good to hear. Anyways, I came here because I forgot something. I am going to see Alfred before I go. Have fun with the lawsuits."
Jason spent the rest of the way home, cackling and the funniest way to win the case.
On the day of the court date,
The rest of the Waynes are surprised to see Jason there in a suit. Dick was understandable, Tim was just there to make sure it goes smoothly, Bruce is also reasonable, Damian is the 'victim'.
"Todd, why are you here?"
"You'll see."
Then, they started telling people to enter before they could get more answers. They soon found out that Jason was the lawyer for the other side.
"Todd, you traitor. How dare you work for the opposition!"
Marinette had arrived with a pet carrier with a dog which Damian claimed was to appeal to his animal lover side.
blah blah blah. Legal procession. I don't know how it goes.
Anyways, it is time for Marinette's defense.
"Your honor, I would like to present evidence which proved that my cilent is innocent in all the charges the plaintiff has accused her of."
"Proceed."
Jason brought out the pet carrier and took out Dog Damian.
"Your honor, this is my client's dog. She was gifted this dog before she moved here to Gotham. I have the receipts to prove this."
"What is the point of this?"
Jason dramatically held up the adorable fluffy black dog which looked like a doll in his hands, "Your honor, the dog's name is Damian." Jason claimed while staring straight at Human Damian.
Dog Damian woofed at the sound of his name. There was a shocked silence that followed.
Jason proceed to give more evidence that yes, the dog name is actually Damian like giving commands using his name and adoption certificate to get rid of any doubt.
"He claimed to have heard her talking about her dating but what were the actual words you heard her say?"
"That I am adorable and she likes running her fingers through my soft dark hair."
"Your honor, my cilent was actually bragging about how cute her dog is and how she likes petting Damian the dog's obviously black fur. And you also claimed that she stalked you to the dog park and called out your name several time. She was there by coincidence because the park is the closest to her apartment and she was calling his name because she had lost sight of Damian. Dog Damian I mean. It was Human Damian's fault for assuming she was calling out for him."
Jason continued to explained how each claim was Damian's own misunderstanding of the situation and there are statements from his classmates who confirmed that Marinette was talking about her pet dog. They didn't told her about Human Damian because they found it funny that her dog had the same name.
"In addition, my cilent had no idea who Damian Wayne was. Only knowing him as her classmate. "
Tim is right now filming and having the best time of his life as he watched Damian wished that the ground would swallow him whole. Dick is trying so hard not to laugh while Bruce's lips were twitching.
Jason decides to make a counter-law suit for the emotional damage and potential financial damage Human Damian had caused Marinette by suing her for millions when she was just a struggling student, getting by on her own income in a foreign country.
Marinette stopped him, "Jason, this is enough. I am fine with a hand-written apology."
"The amount I am asking for is just a drop of water of an ocean for them. They are that filthy rich. Besides, you can get that motorcycle side-car for Damian you had been eyeing a while ago. You can also use the money to buy dog stuff that you couldn't before because of your budget."
Marinette hesitated and agreed. The case ended with it in Marinette's favor.
Tim approached them as they exited with Marinette hugging Damian (the dog) and Jason grinning in glee over his victory and simultaneously humiliated Damian (the human) in the process. Tim high-fived Jason.
Tim offered a job to Marinette because he had done a background check on her due to the potential threat she posed and found out about MDC. He does it because he liked her talent and it would look great to have Wayne Enterprise on her resume. Also the best dirt on Damian.
Marinette told him that she would think about it and he gave her a card.
Damian wrote the apology letter, very embarrassed by the entire trial. His pride wouldn't recover for a while and he took it out on Jason who knew about it the entire time and didn't tried to stop and clear up the misunderstanding.
The next day at school, Marinette went to Damian's seat and said, "Good morning, Human Damian."
"Why are you calling me like that?"
"I am sorry. I thought you would appreciate the clarification of which Damian I am referring to. I wouldn't want to end up in court again after being branded as a delusional fangirl of yours because I was just talking about my adorable Dami. I meant to say My adorable dog, Dami. Human Damian."
For the next few months, everyone keeps referring to Damian as Human Damian.

What I find interesting about the two encounters is how different they are from each other. In the other world, Adrien just stares at her from afar, leaving his bodyguard to buy pastries, not even daring to talk to her. Here in the original world, Marinette and Adrien have spoken to each other, and although it didn't work out so well at first, they've taken the initiative. They made a point of putting things straight, giving us that scene with the umbrella. For our Marinette it was honesty, kindness and the umbrella. For the other Adrien, it was distance, the gift, but also a special attachment.

ML Fanfic Recs for 2023: 80K - 125K Words
So I’ve been going through and adding particularly good fics I’ve read throughout the year. Only Complete fics, of course. Enjoy!
---
Tell Me Why You Love Me by @linnieluna
“Anyway, that piece of paper contains the name of this texting app. It’s completely anonymous, so you can download it, make your account with no attachments to your personal life, and communicate with me outside our suits. I included my username on the paper, too, so you can add me once you’re done."
Her partner skimmed through the words on the paper and nodded his head. “Brilliant as always, M’lady. I’m surprised we didn’t figure this out sooner within our superhero careers.”
“Yeah, it would’ve been nice to have this before, but hey, better late than never. Make sure not to have your phone screen on the messages if you’re going to leave it somewhere. We don’t want anyone reading our texts. Also, this is for emergencies only. No jokes or puns. I can only deal with you for so long.”
“I don’t know if I can agree to that last one,” he said.
Now 22 and working full-time, Marinette and Adrien seem to be getting busier and busier, which means fewer opportunities to keep track of akumas and show up on time. With the idea of using a messaging app to communicate with each other without revealing their identities, their lives immediately grew to be easier... until it wasn't.
This starts off as a mostly slice-of-life fluff fic, but about halfway through things turn dramatic when Monarch learns some things he really shouldn’t and takes action. I had a lot of fun with it as it was coming out, it’s worth a read.

Kwami Magi Homura Magica by Crossoverpairinglover
After eighty-four loops in time, Homura Akemi takes a new path to Paris to save her friends.
The sixty-third loop after that, Homura arrived at the Agreste Mansion.
After clash after clash with the heroes of Paris and its greatest menace, events have reached a tipping point.
Ladybug faces someone verging on a second wish, a wish that endangers space and time to save a friend.
This was an absolutely AMAZING story that crossoverpairinglover dropped out of NOWHERE. Seriously, if you like Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Miraculous Ladybug, this is a real treat - but be prepared to sit down and binge, because it’s over 100,000 words and only has three chapters.
Anyway, I adore the care that’s taken with going through Homura’s mindset here, she gets a lot of character focus. And the lore! There’s some good explanations here for the history behind kwamis and Incubators’ interactions, and the Order of the Guardians normally treats Magical Girls, and why the Incubators are wrong in their assessment of the universe needing more energy to stave off entropy (hint: it involves Plagg), and just... there was a lot of love put into this.
And the action! Most Miraculous fics don’t have much in the way of fight scenes, and what they do have is mostly just functional. This is one of the rare exceptions. There’s some really long, detailed fight scenes in this (roughly the entire second half of the second chapter has one between Ladybug and Homura), which are a treat to read!
We also get some glimpses into a variety of other universes here, other timelines, alternate ways things could have gone down - I’m especially partial to the rather detailed view we get of one where Homura sent a message asking for help to the Ladyblog on her third time loop, and how things progressed from there.
The ending I also thought was really good, a happy ending that generally made sense and dealt with the issue of the Incubators.
If you can’t tell I’m really happy with this fic, it was incredible and unexpected. The length of the individual chapters can be daunting, but if you’re up for the task, I highly recommend giving it a shot!

If I Let Myself Love You by @uptoolateart
It’s hard to be a normal girl with a normal life when your mother has terminal cancer. And when fashion model Adrien Agreste moves back to Paris and wants to be Marinette’s friend – or maybe even more – her life is turned upside down again.
How can she risk opening her heart to love when her whole world is falling apart? Especially when Adrien is hiding a dark secret of his own….
- COMPLETE FIC – updates on Sundays
*** No kwamis AU - 100% Adrinette. About half of it is fluffy and half heavy. Please read tags for trigger warnings. ***
This fic can be rough, definitely pay attention to the tags. There’s no villains in this story, it mostly centers around themes of dealing with illness - both being sick and having a loved one who’s terminally ill - and death, grieving someone who’s lost, and how difficult that can be. It can get pretty gut-wrenching at times, especially as you slowly discover more layers of what’s really going on, what both Adrien and Marinette are hiding, both from others and from themselves in order to help cope with their circumstances. But they still move forwards together, regardless.
---
Eventually by @lucid-ao3
Adrien’s life has been dictated by rules, monitored, and controlled for years. He has learned to compartmentalize. It’s not that bad. It always gets better, eventually. Doesn’t it?
Recovery can be an unexpected obstacle when you didn’t realize you were being hurt in the first place.
OR: How Adrien lives and copes with the emotional abuse inflicted on him over the years, and how he ultimately could overcome it.
If you want a good “Adrien doesn’t realize how abusive his father is but slowly buckles more and more under his tyranny, until things come to a head, and he actually gets the HELP HE NEEDS” fic, this is a good one!
---
Between the Heavens and the Embers by @readersmoon
Everyone in Paris remembers the fateful night of January 16, when the city was attacked by the most powerful and destructive akuma ever created. The assault, which lasted for hours, resulted in the death of 439 people.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng was among the casualties.
Years later, Adrien hasn't been able to move on, haunted by the memories of her broken body. So, when the opportunity to leave Paris for a while presents itself, he doesn't hesitate. But this trip might end up giving him more than he ever dreamt of.
This is a fantastic fic, though a serious and a dark one - make sure to mind the tags, and it’s M-rated for a reason. Vee - or rather, Marinette - is going through a horror story here. Imagine finding out that your life is a lie, that everyone you thought you could trust was manipulating you, that you were just being continually gaslit for years.
As for Adrien, Alya, and Nino... well, none of them took Marinette’s “death” all that well, especially Adrien. Finding out that she’s been alive all this time, in these horrible circumstances, and they had no clue... it’s hard on them as well.
I love how this fic goes into how much trauma everyone has even after the immediate danger’s dealt with, you don’t just walk off this kind of experience, especially with how many years this lasted.

If you’re still taking one word prompts: staple
ok. listen. my thoughts got away with me on this one and I did end up looking up the anatomy of a stapler. but that's normal
tw: minor injury I suppose (just an implication though)!!
Prompt: staple
Adrien couldn’t stop watching Marinette with her stapler. She kept turning to talk animatedly with Alya, the whole time continuing to bind papers together. The repeated pa-chin sound sent a jolt to his heart every time.
He was certain one was about to go through her finger.
Alya made a joke. Marinette threw her head back in a laugh. The handle swung down just as her eyes closed, her thumb placed too high on the anvil.
Adrien surged forward without a thought.
The stapler didn’t make its pa-chin sound.
“Oh my god, Adrien!”
Worth it, he thought as she fussed.
Send me one word, I'll write you 100 (requests closed!)

Hello! Do you have ml fanfic recommendations? Well written english or French and ft romance? Thank you!
Hey there, lovely anon! If I get your ask right, you wanted romance-focused fic recs, didn’t you? So here you go.
First of all,
french recs
Juste un baiser by @mind3ll
A very accurate depiction of Adrien processing his trauma after finding out Hawk Moth’s true identity. Lots of hurt/comfort, fluff and Adrinette being a married couple without even realising it.
Trouve-moi si tu peux and Embrasse-moi si tu peux by @mind3ll
Adrien jubilait.
Détransformation de choc by Alixe
Un combat qui finit un peu brutalement, une relation qui peine à se mettre en place, un père qui s'en mêle... La vie de héros n'est pas toujours facile.
Doux chantage by Jade DeTour
Un soir, Chat Noir découvre le secret de l'identité de Ladybug ainsi que l'identité de celui qu'elle aime. Il demande trois rendez-vous en échange de son silence. Ladynoir, Marichat et Adrinette avec un peu de Ladrien.
Éclosion by ElinaLT
Marinette reçoit une fleur et une lettre, d'un mystérieux 'admirateur secret' comme l'appelle Alya. Elles cherchent désespérément de qui il pourrait s'agir... la découverte s'annonce pleine de surprises.
I never get tired of recommending this fic. It’s just so sweet and heartwarming. Please consider giving it a try, even if you’re not into Marichat.
English
I'll Guess Your Heart, If You Guess Mine by PurpleHeartsOne
When Chat Noir stumbles upon Marinette holding her kwami, Tikki, he finally figures out that his lady, the girl he loves, is none other than his classmate Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Marinette is terrified that he's figured out, and she's not ready to know who he really is, since she's a firm believer that their identities should be hidden and is scared of the consequences if their identities are revealed. As a compromise, Chat Noir decides to set up a deal, he'll give Marinette three chances to guess who he really is underneath the mask, and if she doesn't guess right, he won't reveal himself. But Chat Noir has full faith that his lady will be able to guess who he is.
A story about Chat Noir falling in love with who his lady is, and Marinette falling in love with Chat and easing her worries about the identity reveal.
A multi-chapter set in s4. A must-read imo.
It's You by @inner-sakura
She’d gone through this exact moment a million times in her head. Imagined dramatically declaring her love and having him passionately reciprocate. She’d spent hours picturing the way his green eyes would soften and warm as he too declared his undying love for her, before sweeping her off her feet and carrying her off into the sunset. The fantasy always ended this way, the two of them madly in love.
It never ended with Adrien gazing at her blankly, his face smooth and expressionless.
[AU where Marinette succeeds in confessing to Adrien after the events of Frozer, and everything devolves from there.]
Too much angst, hurt and comfort in this two-shot.
Kiss shy by @emsylcatac
Marinette was on a mission. Three weeks into an impromptu reveal, the same three weeks into a relationship with her partner. And yet, they still hadn’t kissed. She didn’t know how much more she could take.
So tonight, she would kiss him. Right on the mouth.
I just love these precious beans.
rumour has it by summerset
When Alya reveals to the class that Marinette kissed Chat Noir, Adrien is very confused. Why would Marinette lie about kissing him? He decides to take matters into his own hands, and make the rumour a reality.
A Timely Reveal by LiquifiedStars
Adrien realised that having kissed Marinette as Chat Noir was now causing him complications with his now Girlfriend. His attempt to reveal himself however is interrupted when a girl suddenly falls through a portal, and she looks curiously like him. Written for the Miraculous Fanworks Discord.
I know I recommended this fic too many times before and I’ll do it again. Just read it.
wax lips to wax lips by @ladyofthenoodle
Adrien has been struggling to make sense of Marinette for a long time now, but today is especially confusing. Between Nino’s panicked hedging and Marinette’s own verbal gymnastics, he feels like he’s been whipped around by Ladybug’s yo-yo and tied up in knots.
Still, he isn’t going to let some confusion get in the way of their friendship.
Even if things have just gotten really, really confusing.
(it's the statue scene, from Adrien's point of view!)
Seven Seconds by alvares715
Adrien finds a lost video on his phone.
Set in season four.
Episode “Felix” aftermath. Very angsty fic. Another one must-read imo.
Accidentally Not In Love by Lucid
Marinette confesses to Adrien and he rejects her. It takes him less than 24 hours to realize he's made a huge mistake.
Can't Help Falling For You by FelicisMagic18873
Ladybug decides to talk Chat out of his crush for her by making him realize that he might end up not liking who she was behind the mask. It decidedly goes out of hand pretty quickly.
Very sweet one-shot, you can literally feel Chat Noir’s love for Ladybug through the words.
Thank you for your ask, anon! Hope you found something to read. Happy reading!

Daminette December 2022: 31-New Beginnings
Damian sighed. He was already loathing the thought of school. It wasn't the thought of the girls who threw themselves at him or a test he hadn't studied for; No, he had lost a bet.
Jon was already smiling as Damian exited the car.
"As per the rules of the bet," Jon announced, "had I lost, I was to sneak into Pa's sanctuary and take a picture as proof. Since you lost,-"
"I have to make a 'flirty comment' to the first girl I see." Damian continued.
"Once you are inside the school." Jon stated.
"Right." he grumbled.
'Let's just get this over with. Whatever stupid girl that becomes infatuated with me and follows me, I can just tell her it was part of a bet. That should get her to leave me alone.'
Damian and Jon walked into the school. Damian quickly turned around to see what girl would be coming next up the stairs.
"How was Heaven when you left it, Angel?" Damian questioned.
'That should suffice. It sounded like some ridiculous thing Grayson would say.'
Damian already opened his mouth to mention it was just part of a bet. He expected her to throw herself at him, ask him about when they could date, but he never expected to see her glaring at him. He hadn't remembered seeing a girl with eyes this blue before.
She pointed at him and jabbed him in his chest, "I will snap you like a twig. Never speak to me like that again."
'An accent?'
Then, she was gone. Damian quickly turned to see her walking towards the Dean's office.
"Damian, please don't hurt her." Jon whispered, grabbing onto his arm, "I think she's new."
The Wayne heir closed his eyes and exhaled.
'She doesn't even know who I am.'
Damian Wayne was trained as an assassin. He trained with ninjas. It wasn't hard to follow the new girl around. He needed to explain what happened this morning. Usually, he wouldn't bother to explain himself, but he had to!
Damian spotted her in the hall. He walked quickly behind her and touched her shoulder, to gain her attention. He didn't expect her to grab his wrist, twist his arm, and bring him to his knees. Damian saw Jon freeze near him. He could see panic cross his face.
"Can I help you with something?" Marinette questioned, "You've been following me all day."
'She noticed me?'
"I wanted to apologize for my comment this morning." Damian began to explain, "My friend and I had a bet; I lost. I had to make a flirtatious remark to the first female I laid eyes upon once I was inside the school."
Marinette let go of his arm, but glared at him nonetheless. She watched him warily.
'Green eyes. Why do green eyes always start off being honest?'
Mari sighed, "Thank you. I'm sorry if I was too rough."
"You defended yourself admirably." Damian replied.
Everyone that had been watching, let out a breath of relief.
"I tried." she smiled, "Probably not as good as someone born in Gotham."
"I moved here seven years ago." Damian answered.
Jon couldn't believe he was hearing Damian's heart race.
"I want to apologize. I have been on edge and I promised myself I wouldn't be the same person I was back in Paris." she spoke.
"Same person?" asked Jon, unconsciously.
"A spineless nobody." Marinette frowned, "Thank you for apologizing."
Marinette turned and began to walk away.
"I didn't get your name." Damian called out.
"Marinette." she spoke.
"Damian." he answered.
"Oh." Mari spoke up, "Just for future reference, puns are horrible and aren't cute. Never use a pun to flirt with me, unless you want to be punched in the face." and walked away.
Damian gulped.
'She really is an angel.'

Looking for a very specific Daminette fic.
Marinette is Damian's PA and he askes her to be his fake fiancé
The reason for this is that he wants to inherit WE from Bruce but is certain that Bruce is going to give it to Tim because he is in a committed relationship with Steph but Damian doesn't have a partner like that.
Please help I have been looking forever and I can't find it
Edit: The search is off, turns out it was deleted 🥲

Geez Marinette facing the order over her parents… considering the episode weredad I think she made the correct decision
a sadistic choice: face angry parents or catching up with some old friends I would pick the second option tbh 😅 even if said friends want to corrupt you
Yep, ever since Weredad we as a fandom know how much Tom LOVES being nosy about his daughter's love life. So after finding out that his daughter is LADYBUG, the partner of Chat Noir, the woman of Chat Noir's dreams, the girl Chat Noir is crazy about, the second half of the romantic duo of Paris. You bet he's gonna start asking questions like no tomorrow.
Tom: "So how many kids are you and Chat Noir having? Oh! Wait! They would be called Kittens!"
Future!Marinette: Papa-
Tom: "Gasp! Would you have a litter?! Am I gonna get a bunch of kittens for grandchildren!?"
Future!Marinette: Pa-
Tom: "I mean I'm totally fine with a bunch of grandkittens! What about marriage?! Has he proposed to you yet?! I bet he made it romantic!"
Future!Marinette: Papa please-
Tom: "I'm still a little hurt that you didn't tell me about your boyfriend but as long as you're happy then I'm happy! Oh! I can't wait to meet my future son-in-law! Does he like baking? I hope he's okay with taking over the bakery when you two get married!"
Nino: "You know, now I can see why Marinette tried avoiding coming back home."
Alya: "Shhh, This is the best thing ever. I never knew Marinette's dad was a hopeless romantic"
Future!Marinette: "Papa please, mercy, I beg you, stop."
Tom: "I also gotta know is he a romantic flirt as he seems or does he seduce you in the night like the charming cat he is! Or does he kiss you senseless into the night while proclaiming his love?!"
Future!Marinette: "PAPA!"

4 | in which a boy becomes jealous of his niece
Part 4 of No Mr. Wayne You Can't Adopt Me! | Masterlist
When Bruce heard that Diana and Clark were both in the city for work, he decided to kill two birds with one stone and invite them for lunch and a meeting in his office. He even had Tim in attendance, so he could give his opinions for the League-related discussions. They were deep into intergalactic affairs when a knock rapped on the door.
"Mr. Wayne?" Marinette called out from outside.
Bruce wondered why she was knocking, since she knew he had guests over. Marinette never disturbed him if he had guests. Is there an emergency?
Tim was quick on his feet as he opened the door for her. Marinette's head peeked out, looking a little shy. "Sorry to interrupt, but I've got something to show you urgently."
Bruce gave an apologetic smile. "Can it wait until later—"
Tim cut in, "It's a casual meeting, B, let the girl in."
With Clark and Diana's gazes on him, he conceded and motioned for Tim to let his assistant in. The girl carried her tablet inside, setting it up on the table in front of them. "There was an intruder last night in your office. I managed to extract the audio feed and sync it up with the video footage."
The glint in his son's eye already gave Bruce a foreboding feeling. Tim gasped dramatically. "An intruder? How scary!"
"I'd like to show you so you can confirm his words." Marinette pursed her lips. "Batman visited last night."
"Batman?" Clark's gaze wandered off towards Bruce.
The assistant nodded solemnly and pressed a key to play the video. "He came in late at night to 'retrieve something' but I did suspect he was stealing."
Like the nosey coworkers they were, the two League members immediately slid towards either side of Bruce to get a glimpse of the screen. Bruce's encounter with the knife-wielding Marinette was caught clear as day on the camera—he started to feel heat rush to his cheeks.
Tim attempted (and failed) to mask his laughter with a cough while Diana didn't hold back at all, letting out a chuckle as they watched.
"I think that's enough of—" Bruce stretched his arm to pause the video but Clark moving to hold back his wrist was faster.
"No, it's important to see the whole thing, Bruce," his sly friend told him, "This is a security breach."
"He's right, Mr. Wayne." Marinette's eyebrows furrowed. "He slipped in so easily; our security system must be faulty if he was able to go inside without triggering alarms."
Bruce bit on his tongue and wished he could say something. But his assistant's blue eyes shone with so much innocent concern and worry that he couldn't stay firm. He leaned back and let the video finish, with amusement clear on Clark and Diana's faces and Tim wheezing behind him.
He cleared his throat. "Thank you for bringing this up, Marinette, but Batman is right. We had a prior agreement so he's allowed in the office."
"But why associate with Batman at all?" She tilted her head. "Is he one of your lovers?"
Bruce was pretty sure Tim just choked on air.
"We both save the city, in our own ways that is." Bruce internally cringed at his explanation. "I think we both have the same goals and I'm happy to help him if it means Gotham is safe."
"No offense, but he's a recluse. You can do better, Mr. Wayne."
Bruce glanced at his two fellow founding members. "I'm sure he's got some friends of his own."
"I don't know." Clark pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "I've talked to Superman a few times and according to him, the Bat is a weirdo."
Marinette's eyes widened. "Weird how? Oh, that reminds me . . ." She pulled out something from her pocket: the same Batarang Bruce had thrown at her. "He pinned my sleeve to the wall! It's going to take forever to mend."
Bruce looked away guiltily.
Clark shook his head in faux disappointment. "That's awful. Superman says he's always like that—cold like a stone wall, very grumpy, and protective over his secret identity."
"It seems that Batman was very much caught off by your presence, Marinette," Diana added.
Tim was already silent-laughing by Bruce's desk, knocking his fist on top of it while holding his middle.
"Sorry, Marinette, we have other things to discuss here." Bruce forced out a smile again. "I'll tell Batman not to come unannounced again. Thanks for telling me right away. If you'd like, I can pay for your blazer to get fixed."
Marinette pocketed the Batarang and picked up her tablet. "Sure, but to be honest, I'd rather have a personal apology."
"I agree, Bruce, he should show some remorse." Clark nonchalantly sipped from his drink.
"I'll—I'll make sure he does that."
***
Bruce was sitting in his office's lounge with stacks of binders and envelopes scattered all over the table. Sat across him was Marinette, who was helping him organize the upcoming hectic schedule for the company. He pointed to an empty spot on the paper calendar. "What if we put the grand opening on the sixth? That would give us enough time to prepare."
Marinette spoke slowly. "Why on the sixth?"
"It's free, isn't it?"
She decided to continue to stare at him wordlessly, waiting for something to strike him. He only stared back dumbfoundedly at first but after a few beats, Marinette saw the exact moment the realization dawned on him.
Cue the panicked Bruce Wayne.
Marinette went back to scribbling on her notebook. "How can you forget the birthday of your only grandchild, Mr. Wayne?"
"It slipped my mind." Bruce visibly gulped. "I haven't prepared a gift yet."
"It's a week away."
"Yes . . . yes I'm aware."
She gave her subtle but pointed look. She should've predicted this, in all honesty—Bruce seemed to be extremely swamped both inside and outside work the past few days. But she expected him to have the date marked on his personal calendar at least.
"If I start on the handmade gift tonight, there should be enough time for me to finish by the sixth," she told him.
He pursed his lips, "No, I can't possibly ask that from you. It wouldn't be a gift from me if it's you making it."
"Do you have other ideas then?"
Bruce came up with a blank. He shook his head, clearly in distress.
"Then allow me to make it, Mr. Wayne," she insisted as she clicked her pen. "If you're the one to pick the design I'm sure she will love it."
He breathed out, practically slumping on the sofa. "Thank you, Marinette, you're a lifesaver."
"That's not the magic word."
"I'll pay double your—no I'll pay triple your salary. That should cover the materials cost and work for it."
Marinette nodded in satisfaction. Triple was already a lot more than her usual commission prices. She looked over the scheduled events and tried to work out another suitable schedule. "I'll have the design options ready by tomorrow—I'm thinking of a thick cardigan—so please get her measurements from Mr. Pennyworth."
***
Marinette was running in heels. Sweat clung to the nape of her neck as she caught her breath in front of the manor gates. The rude taxi driver had dropped her off a good distance away from her destination, making her horribly late for the party when she had an important package to deliver.
She stared down at the gift bag with a neat little bow hanging from her wrist. Bruce had told her that he was going to be late to the birthday party and tasked her to get the gift there first . . . without much excuse for his tardiness. And when there was a flimsy excuse, it only meant that he was attending to something Batman-related.
After fixing her appearance and checking her reflection through her phone, she ventured into the back garden where the Wayne family had set up a modest party: a few family friends had been invited, standing around the long banquet table with finger foods and there were some picnic blankets laid around. The weather seemed to be in good favor just for Mar'i Grayson, who squealed and jumped into Marinette's arms the moment she saw her.
"Marinette!" The girl beamed. "You're here!"
Well . . . Marinette wasn't invited in the first place. She was there thanks to Bruce. Behind Mar'i, she saw Dick whispering to Kor'i with a frown, probably voicing out his disappointment that Bruce wasn't there yet.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." She smiled back.
Mar'i looked around. "Where's grandpa?"
"Uhh, your grandpa's running a little late today but he had me deliver this!" Marinette held up the bag, drawing out a look of wonder from the child. "Happy birthday, Princess."
The girl was already bouncing on her heels. "What's in it? What's in it?"
"Why don't you open it to find out?" A new voice said.
Marinette hoped no one heard her sigh of relief. Bruce had just appeared, but his tousled hair and wrinkled clothes indicated that he dressed himself in a rush.
"Grandpaaaaa!" Mar'i ran to her grandfather and he easily lifted her up.
"Happy birthday, sweetheart. I'm sorry I'm late." Bruce tapped the tip of her nose.
The girl giggled. "It's okay, there's still cake for you!"
"Why don't you open up your gift?"
Marinette moved aside and watched with anticipation as Mar'i peeked into the bag. She couldn't help the smile tugging on her lips when she saw green eyes lighting up in delight. Mar'i held out the soft pink cardigan adorned with patterns of a figure resembling Silkie, along with a little crocheted bag in the shape of a star.
Even though Bruce nearly forgot the date, he picked out a fitting design.
"I love it!" Mar'i gasped, immediately slipping the cardigan on. "Thank you, grandpa!"
With her job done, Marinette retreated towards the refreshments table where, to her surprise, Damian offered her a glass of water. His gaze seemed to be trained on the gift, which Mar'i was proudly showing off to the other guests.
"Is that your handiwork?" He asked.
"Do you want one too?" Marinette teased after she downed the whole glass. "I'll make one for you on your birthday if Mr. Wayne forgets yours too."
He snorted. "I didn't say that. And Father will not forget my birthday."
"You sure about that?"
"You will be reminding him either way anyway." Damian sipped on his own drink. "You didn't have to make the gift for the sake of covering up Father's mistake."
"He paid me well, so it's fine."
"Still, he should've been the one who made the effort."
"He's right, Marinette, you didn't have to." Dick came up to them, handing a slice of cake to Marinette. "Old man's tendency to forget isn't new."
Marinette gave a grateful smile as she took a bite of the pink-and-purple frosted cake. "It's alright really. I wouldn't have offered to help but I didn't want Mar'i to celebrate without a gift from Mr. Wayne."
"It must've been a lot of trouble." Dick briefly looked at the wrist brace around her hand.
"Ah, this isn't from making the cardigan. Don't worry," she lied.
"I heard he only asked for the cardigan," said Dick. "What about the bag?"
Marinette's gaze traveled towards Mar'i again. The girl was stuffing her new bag with candies from Roy as her mother fixed her hair. "Just an accessory to match the cardigan. Consider it a gift from me."
"Thank you, Marinette." Dick nodded, looking at his daughter with a soft expression. "And I'm sorry for all the trouble on behalf of Bruce."
When Dick left (presumably to pull Bruce to the side and talk to him), Marinette noticed the side-eyes Damian was giving her. She raised an eyebrow at him.
"You strained your hand making the cardigan didn't you?" he asked.
She put a finger up to her lips. "Let's keep that a secret between us."

After reading a fair few Married LadyNoir fics, especially the AU from @art-the-f-up, I thought to myself how could the two have a funny reveal and this happened.
Caught Red Faced
Marinette was sure she was going to be late or die from a cardiac arrest trying to get there on time.
As she moved down the street, her whole body suddenly became unbearably frazzled as she checked her watch for what felt like the millionth time that minute. After a wonderful two weeks in paradise with her new husband; the peace and relaxation was terminated and she was thrust straight back into her ‘normal life’ — which, unfortunately, included the rat race which was Paris.
With a hop, skip and a jump, she manoeuvred herself through tiny gaps within crowds in a haste. She wasn’t too late, but that didn’t make it any more reasonable. She’d agreed to meet Adrien at 10am sharp for his suit fitting and right now it was 9:45am. 15 mins and two streets… she had this.
:read more:
When she’d woken up that morning she’d gotten a little… distracted. She had opted for a little more hubby time before having to get ready. Probably not her smartest move as it ended with a timed dash to get ready and out the door. Putting makeup on as she threw on her dress, it seemed equivalent to riding a mechanical bull and eating spaghetti — not that she’d tried; her husband on the other hand…
Leapfrogging over a tourist tying their shoe lace, she made a mental note to tell her Chat Noir as soon as she got home about her Olympic standard Paris tourist parkouring. He would eat it up!
‘Ladybug leapfrogging’ he’d say, ‘you’re an insect not an amphibian.’
The thought of her husband had her lost in thought as she accidentally stepped out into the road, sending an unlucky cyclist swerving around her and landing head first in a trash can.
“Sorry!” she apologetically yelled as she continued across the busy street and into the direction of the mansion.
One more street.
Her thoughts moved from Chat Noir to Adrien and Marinette couldn’t help but wonder why he still lived with his father? The blond ex-model was an influential, sophisticated, professional with a very well paid job. He could move out whenever he wanted. It just made zero sense.
Finally, reaching the gates, Marinette bent over and tried to gather her breath; hand on her knees and head down between her legs. Dear Lord! She knew going to an all inclusive 5* resort was asking for trouble. She’d have to run extra laps later to try and get her stamina back and burn off some of the margaritas and cheesecake. Maybe she could entice her better half with a game of kiss chase — hubba, hubba!
Pressing the buzzer, Nathalie welcomed Marinette and opened the gates. For once she didn’t have to break in; the whole experience of having the red carpet rolled out was kind of unnerving.
Standing tall, brushing her hands over her forehead and her skirt down, she strutted down the cobblestone pavement like a top class business woman, pouting her natural lips and puffing out her chest. But as she came to the front door, the friendship she’d gained with the Agrestes PA seemed to… disappear. Nathalie’s welcoming face seemed to be questioning her in the most unnerving way.
“H-H-Hi,” Marinette said with an awkward wave. Her bravado disappeared quicker than their most recent — easy — defeats of Monarch.
“Hello,” Nathalie waved back. Her eyes were wide and her mouth slightly open as her hand hung lifeless in the air.
“Adrien should be expecting me.” Marinette looked around the older woman and into the foyer of the house, hoping and praying she could spot her friend. If Adrien ever wanted to do his usual macho action of saving her, now would be an ideal time.
Nathalie nodded her head, her jaw still slack and glaring at Marinette’s face. Damn it! Had she messed up her makeup that badly? She blamed Chat for blowing air on her neck as she placed on her mascara.
“Shall I just?” Marinette mimed herself entering the mansion by pretending to walk her fingers in the direction of the hallway.
Nathalie nodded once again, and stepped to the side. The usually elegant lady tripped in her swift action, ending up clattering against the doorframe and not blinking. Maybe Marinette should go to the bathroom first? There was obviously something on her face which she needed to get off.
Staring at Nathalie as she walked past, Marinette took slow and steady steps, afraid she was going to scare the woman into cardiac arrest if she moved anything faster than a sloth.
“Marinette?” She heard her name being called from the top of the staircase and looked for the occupier of the voice; her feet halting on the first step.
“Hello?” she questioned back. That didn’t quite sound like Adrien. It sounded slightly altered, almost like her husbands. Oh God, two weeks on an island with the love of her life and now she was projecting his voice onto everyone else.
“Marinette?” It said again and she was starting to think maybe there was a ghost roaming the hallways. She wouldn’t be surprised. Perhaps it was Gabriel Agreste’s soul? Everyone knew the guy had lost it years ago. She snorted to herself before beginning to venture up the staircase.
A crashing sound echoed through the foyer and now she was certain the place was haunted.
“W-Who’s there?” Her voice stuttered, causing her to hold her bag closer to her chest.
“Marinette, it’s me!” A hand touched her shoulder and she almost turned around and kicked the guy hard in the cahoonas.
“Adrien? What the hell?” His hand placed gently against her lower back and began to push her towards his room. A slight tilt of her head had her eyes catching his thick, masculine neck… his very tanned neck .
The deep colour made his blond hair shine brighter than the sun, and a small flutter in her stomach directed her attention to how his green eyes would probably be popping with the added colour around his eyes and face. Oh dear! Where was her hand fan when she needed it?
Yes she was married, but there was nothing wrong with looking once in a while, right? He was just her best friend and an ex model, she couldn’t help it that he knew how to wear clothing correctly and pleasing to the eye. She was a designer at the end of the day, she loved perfect fitting clothes especially when the trousers cupped correctly around the…
“I thought your house was possessed!” she said, taking her mind out of the Adrien butt gutter.
He made a ghostly noise in her ear, grabbing hold of her hips and tickling her. She shrieked, running up the staircase and into his room. Adrien’s spooky ghost sounds following her up the staircase.
“I am the ghost of the floating sock!!” he announced, closing the door behind them.
Marinette looked to the right and then the left, finding nowhere to go. Eventually, she decided she was going to face him head on… and maybe punch him in the gut.
Turning swiftly, fists at the ready, her plan was foiled when she saw his face. Instead of hitting him with enough power to drop him to his knees, she let out an ear piercing scream!
Adrien’s eyes widened and, in turn, he screamed too! Adrien’s mortification upped Marinette’s own, her pitch intensifying as she let out another wail.
“What’s wrong with your face?” They pointed at each other as they spoke, a split second hovering between them before they pushed each other out the way in chase for the bathroom.
As they homed in on his door, Marinette felt herself flying to the side as Adrien elbowed her out the way in a triumphant move. Her butt landed hard on the floor, her hand going to her head as she was embraced in Adrien’s many, many curses.
“Oh fuck!”
From her seat on the floor, she heard him shriek again.
“No, no, no, no!”
Pushing herself to stand, she headed into the bathroom and stood beside him. Both mirrored the other's actions, which mirrored those reflecting back from the planet of glass, hands gripping the vanity to within an inch of its poor life.
“You don’t live here anymore. Do you?” she stated more than asked.
She studied his face as he studied hers. She was right, the green eyes definitely would have popped behind the tan — if the tan was there..
Like a guppy, Adrien’s mouth moved up and down in order to speak. Yet, nothing left his mouth. The action made the whole ordeal a lot more comical, and Marinette couldn’t help but burst out into fits of uncontrollable laughter.
She wrapped one hand around her stomach, the laughter shaking her to the core and sending tears to her eyes. Oh God, had this really just happened. The ‘reveal’ fanfics she’d read on the internet had been a lot more creative than this.
“How was the Maldives?” Marinette asked through her onslaught of laughter, her hand moving to her eyes and wiping the tears from underneath them. She didn’t even care that she looked like a yeti or, even worse, the woman from The Ring; this man loved her for better or for worse, a thought that started the laughter again.
Better – Ladybug.
Worse – Marinette.
“You know, I had to physically force myself out of the apartment today. I wanted to just stay in bed with my wife.” Adrien’s words sent them both into another spiral and Plagg and Tikki finally made an appearance. Their holders had officially gone insane.
“Marinette? Why are you –”
Tikki stopped as she eyed the mirror. Her small hand reaching out to Plagg and smacking him time and time again before pointing to the mirror. The kwamis came and settled on their holders shoulders, all four of them taking in the reflection in the mirror.
It seemed wearing a mask whilst in blazing sunshine wasn’t the greatest idea, as both heroes stood sporting a replica of their mask on their skin as the remaining flesh around it had a wonderful sun kissed glow.
“This is weird isn’t it?” Adrien said, placing an arm around his wife’s waist and pulling her into the side of his body. She watched his lips pull at the corner and she couldn’t help but wonder how she hadn’t noticed it before. It was right in front of her.
“Oh, yes. Totally.”
They continued to smile at each other through their reflections.
“I need to get a picture of this moment.” Adrien pulled his camera from his pocket and flipped the scene to take a selfie. “Hashtag: caught red faced.”
“Actually, that’s just your nose Kitty, which, by the way, looks so sore.”
Adrien stretched a hand and ran a finger over the bridge of his red tinged nose. “It’s okay, nowhere near what it was a week ago.”
Turning her head, Marinette looked up at Adrien and smiled. So this was her Kitty
“So, you’re the love of my life?” Marinette asked, pushing her hands up his biceps before gently stroking his neck and finishing by outlining the tan mark mask on his face.
“And what’s the verdict?” His hands cupped her waist and pulled her in closer, her heart rate kicking up even though they’d been this close numerous times in the past.
Pouting her lips, Marinette moved her mask stained face side to side. “I could have done worse.”
His fingers dug into her waist, tickling her and making her squeal. His own face lit up the entire room as he pulled her closer and continued, eventually taking her lips with his and sending her into the deep, deep depths of love. Something that had been so natural and comforting suddenly switched up a gear, bringing her memories back to the first time she’d kissed her partner in a moment of weakness and passion. It was all so perfect.
“So what do we do now?” Adrien asked, tenderly kissing her forehead before replacing his lips with his head.
“We go home and hide until our faces begin to match again.”
“That could be a long time, M’Lady,” Adrien smirked.
“I hope so,” she laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck and lifting onto her toes pressing a gentle kiss to his nose.
Heading back to the front door, Adrien led Marinette down the street and back to their apartment, loved up and blissfully ready to hide away with his wife.
That was until they turned the corner and bumped into a rather startled Alya.
“Oh, shit!”

Marinette Dupain-Cheng The village baker and seamstress; Marinette does any different jobs around her village to make ends meet while dealing with the abuse spouted out by the noble Lady Chloe. Kind and creative Marinette does her best to help when she can, after helping a strange traveller she is gifted with a magical seed that grew into a small fairy who presented her a pair of magical earrings that could perform a miracle. Once she climbed to the top of a giant beanstalk she discovered a giant castle occupied by a giant named Adrien. At first she doesn't trust the giant (since he is friends with Chloe after all) but after making a deal with him to teach him how to bake bread in exchange for treasures she can use to help pay off Chloe, she starts to see how kind and gentle he really is.
After some time she convinces him to come with her back to the village and at first everyone is terrorized of him, but soon he starts to show off his kindness and helps the village to thrive.

He was cursed and grow to a monstrous size that caused the total collapse of their castle which killed his mother. With his new found size Adrien was dazed and confused as he almost destroyed the kingdom but his father King Gabriel used a powerful spell and sent Adrien into the clouds where he'd soon live. 5 years would pass and Adrien was forced to live a new life among the clouds, while he had shelter, food and clothing thanks to his father he was also isolated and kept away form all humans as he father told him his presence among them would cause unrest.

Trying to hide the truth Gabriel used a powerful spell to send Adrien into the clouds creating a land form him to live on and to keep him away form the people of the land who he knew would blame him for the great tragedy. He then came up with the story of the monster that attacked both kingdoms and stole away prince Adrien.
Gabriel never told Adrien about the cause of his mother's death but did tell him in order to keep himself and world safe he'd have to live in the sky where no one would see him. Meanwhile Gabriel looked far and wide to find a away to bring his fallen queen back to life, he eventually discovered that a pair of powerful magical objects could grant the wish of anyone who held both items. Gabriel became consumed with finding those objects, neglecting Adrien and his kingdom causing the nobles to become more power hungry and driven. Luka/Marinette/Adrien/Kagami - No One Can Know That I Know That He Knows That She Knows That One Thing
Tumblr media
The response to this prompt is a collaborative effort by @galahadwilder and @deinde-prandium!
---
Luka wasn’t an idiot, but there were times he suspected Kagami thought he was. In fairness to him, however, it wasn’t exactly his fault that he was trying to put some space between them since accidentally discovering that she was Ryuuko. It’s not that the news upset him or anything. It was just…he was now at three secret identities that he’d discovered, all without even trying. And he wasn’t even a Guardian! As good as he was at projecting an air of calm around Marinette and Adrien, somehow knowing about Kagami as well threatened to set him off kilter. Honestly, he didn’t know how Marinette did it, keeping the kinds of secrets she did. But it’s not like he could talk to her about the situation…or Adrien, for that matter. He shuddered to think how awkward the conversation would go if it turned out that his boyfriend, a superhero, didn’t actually realize his boyfriend and girlfriends were also superheroes…
No. He just needed time to process. And to figure out what to do. The important thing was, no one could know that he knew.
Kagami wasn’t an idiot, but she certainly felt like Luka was treating her like one. It’s not like she’d treated him any differently when she accidentally discovered he was Viperion— not that she told him that she knew, but still. Then again, it was one thing knowing Viperon’s secret identity, but quite another to learn the secret identities of Ladybug and Chat Noir. That discovery had thrown her for a loop, even though she really should have seen it coming, and now she found herself wishing she had a confidant. Talking to Adrien about it was out of the question, and Marinette— as the Guardian, she had enough on her plate. Luka, on the other hand…he would be an excellent secret keeper, if only it didn’t feel like he was avoiding her. Did he suspect that she knew about him? Hmm.
Whatever Luka’s motives for avoiding her, perhaps he had the right idea. No matter how awkward things got, it was critical that no one knew that she knew.
Adrien wasn’t an idiot, but he was starting to wonder if Marinette thought he was. Kagami had blown her identity on her first time out, and Miracle Queen had shown Luka’s directly to Hawkmoth, but only Marinette wasn’t allowed to have a Miraculous back after only he had seen her? Sure, do whatever it takes to protect your identity, but then. Luka—Viperion—had found out his, somehow, and she hadn’t seemed surprised. Which meant she knew and didn’t tell him. That hurt. He wanted to ask her about it, but he wasn’t supposed to know who she was, was he? She’d been adamant that nobody was supposed to know, but apparently it was just nobody but him.
He could get the picture. He wasn’t let in, again. And that was fine. He still cared about her, about all of them, even if they didn’t about him, so it’s not like anyone really needed to know he was hurting. It’s not like anyone needed to know he knew.
Marinette wasn’t an idiot. Both of her boyfriends, and her girlfriend, were all avoiding each other. Clearly there’d been some kind of fight, and all of them were… mad? Maybe?
Okay, maybe she was an idiot. Because she had no idea what had happened, why none of them were talking, and none of them were telling her anything. She’d gotten so engrossed in her duties as Ladybug, and the Guardian, that she hadn’t really kept up with her datemates, so she’d clearly missed something, and she had no idea what. And she couldn’t just ask them—they’d flip out and be mad at her and they’d stop being able to protect Paris and then Monarch would win and the city would be overrun by Nazi Zombies! No, she needed a plan. Some way to investigate what had happened. Maybe she could get the rest of Operation Secret Garden involved in her scheme? It didn’t matter. Whatever it took, she had to know.

Mon avis sur ML special Paris (my opinion about ML Special Paris)
Tumblr media
I enjoyed it quite a bit, too bad I was able to find the English version and not the French one. Although Cristina Vee Bryce Papenbrook's performance stands out. But this special does have its strong points, which I appreciate. For example, the relationship between Toxinelle and Griffe Noire, who are only allied by circumstance and seem more professional despite their arguments. Believing that their powers come from luck or destruction rather than anything else. There's also the moment when Toxinelle is plagued by doubt when Betterfly tries to convince them to join his resistance. Or when she reads the diary of her alter ego, who seems to have a better life than she does at first sight. At first I thought her life was pretty isolated, and maybe she didn't even know her parents. But in fact she's quite isolated, with no loving mum, boyfriend or best friend. She's all alone, suffering Chloé's harassment, and that's where I think the idea of the Supreme is interesting. It's precisely this kind of profile that these organizations are interested in convincing and recruiting. The Supreme was Toxinelle's hope until she discovered the overuse of the Lucky Charm and the wish that can't be used. But Marinette tells her about her own experience, saying it hasn't been easy but she's still tried again and again. By wanting to change and evolve, she has been able to change her surroundings and have a life where she can breathe a little despite the difficulties.
Griffe Noire is more intrepid, wanting to play it cool, but also a little suicidal. The fact that he cataclysms himself is proof of this, proving to be more violent than his alter ego. And he can't stand his partner, the cockroach he loves to call. Especially as his cataclysm seems to be more powerful than Chat Noir! However, all his anger and hatred conceal a certain pain. He wants to bring his mother back, and thinks his father doesn't care. All he wants is to see her again, but there's a price to pay, and Adrien makes it clear that she wouldn't have wanted it. I also liked the fact that Adrien opens up a little about his pain, too, but uses it to help his alter ego. And comforts his partner who's in disarray when she doesn't have a plan. He wonders about his powers, but that will stop him from doing what's right to help people.
Alya also plays a big role in being her best friend's helper and moral support. It can't have been easy once she had to make the transition to the other worlds. But it shows once again that Alya's character has been important to Marinette, and that no matter what happens, she'll always be by her side to help. Also the scene where she tries to hide and records Monarque's plan is good. When Betterfly, I can feel people coming up and saying that the writers are trying to show that Gabriel is a good person. And he is in another universe! He also has his faults, as he himself says. Since he was with the Supreme (I wonder what kind of relationship he had with Toxinelle and Griffe Noire before), his world is different, the miraculous are kept as a secret. The Supreme has a corrupt system and it was probably Emilie's death that made him realize this, so that's why he founded the resistance, wanting to keep hope alive. I think he's a solid character, although I'd have liked a bit more on his past or more interaction between him and the bad duo. As for Monarque, I think they did it on purpose not to make them interact to show the difference between those two. And it's nice to hear Keith Silverstein's voice on the heroes' side for once.
After that, there are quite a few unanswered questions, such as who is supreme, how the system was set up to target vulnerable people and so on. Although towards the end with Monarque, you get the feeling that the team had fun repeatedly beating up Monarque in each universe, which is nice, by the way. But there's something to be said for a bit of mystery. Telling everything from A to Z is a bit boring, I find. But you can always explore it in fanfiction.
