Aegon ignoring Helaena just like Viserys ignored them as kids. Helaena rightfully criticizing Aegon's insufficiency just like Alicent criticized him since he was a boy. They're their dad and mom respectively. It's generational!!

[note] The urge to deny you're like your parent. The appeal of rebelling against them, yet turning out to be more or less like THEM. URGH!!!!

Helaena repelling Alicent's touch. Aegon resenting Viserys for not liking him. Yet by the end of the day, they are damned to be a reflection of the parent that yearned for them. Alicent always wanted a daughter. Viserys always wanted a son.

they liked to play games with each other this way. as if they hadn’t both known that they needed each other, for better or for worse. june is desperate to prove himself that it’s otherwise, perhaps he doesn’t need bash. rather it’s him who needs june, the two things couldn’t have been more intertwined. the girl he’d been kissing this time; hadn’t even been his girlfriend. it’s a test. they share everything, afterall. always had, since childhood. their fathers had made sure of that. eyes burn across the room to find sebastian with an arm hooked around the same girl he’d gone off to fetch drinks for, their eyes meet over her shoulder.

there’s that look from the male opposite. one that could make a person feel worthless, or worthy of every single thing in the vicinity. this time, he isn’t sure how he feels. only knows that the glare that burns back is one of near disgust. when bash approaches, he blows a large cloud of cigarette smoke into his face. fingers drumming against the two drinks, one destined for the girl bash had stolen away. “ getting after my leftovers, as per usual. ” washing his hurt away with a gulp of his drink. “ what do you want, seb? you fucked my mood. ”

I’d love to see the reaction of Steve’s parents when they come home from their trip to surprise Steve for Christmas. They walk into the house with big smiles on their face as they try to be as quiet as possible so the surprise wouldn’t be ruined. When they peek their heads into the living room the smiles on their faces drop immediately when they see Steve on top of Eddie on the couch kissing. His mom gasp from the scene that’s taking place and Steve jumps off of Eddie with a squeal, Eddie isn’t bothered in the slightest he just keeps a sly smile on his face. All of them are consumed by silence and none of them really know what to say. Steve just knows he’s going to have to explain what happened in the past few months for things to end up here which was a conversation he wasn’t ready for.
