Diluc is a very awkward, straight-to-the-point man. having somebody who’s semi-obsessed with him can be a little strange to him because he doesn’t think he’s capable of being loveable :(

lucky for you, he likes you and is interested in you!

you always intentionally go to the tavern when you know for sure he’s going to be working that day.

^^ that’s a free meal. seeing the man do the little bartender tricks and his sleeves rolled up and hahHhahahahdodoh.

at first, when you and diluc didn’t really know each other personally and he started seeing you every time he worked at the tavern, he noticed

—and he’d start up smaller conversation with you because he was interested in you, too.

It was an extremely slow process to get Diluc to start conversations with you, truthfully. but one day, he was asking you about yourself.

“What’s your name? … Ah, (Y/N)? That suits you. Where are you from then, (Y/N)? I notice you’re always in here.”

his soft voice and demeanor just makes your heart melt on the spot. It makes your cheeks feel all hot and your palms start sweating HES TOO PRETTY

you get all stuttery around him sometimes and he raises a brow to this. he thinks you’re just adorable

Frequent conversations appeared overtime in the tavern. and ofc, you just obsessed over him (you just like me fr)

^^ you wrote about how dreamy and handsome he was, tried making your appearance look better for him— hell, you even memorized the exact hand motions, in order, of each bartender trick he did

god you just loved him and couldn’t stop thinking about him. you were so obsessed with him and he didnt understand why

months went on and FINALLY. he invited you to his warm home to enjoy a nice meal with him

even if it was too good to be true, you were ecstatic

You couldnt stop smiling and giggling before the night arrived where you could spend time alone with him

(he was excited too but shh you dont know that)

STOPP and he and his maids prepared such a nice little meal for the two of you

Even though you were shaking from nervousness, you heart was beating super quickly and you felt all hot the whole time spent with him, you two hit it off great!!

time flew and by the time you two were done eating, it was pitch black outside

you were kind of worried how you would get home, but diluc insisted you stay in the guest room. after all, its dangerous with monsters everywhere, especially at night!

still thinking about the baby cows…. guys did you know that cows can get the zoomies. and sometimes wag their tails when they’re happy. and even excitedly jump up on you like doggies when they’re small. personally I knew most of this already before meeting the babies but I have never seen it in person and ohhhh my goddddd it was so cute. they’re so fucking cute. she nibbled and licked me and head-butted my chin and ran around in circles and wagged her tail because she was such a happy girl. fuck anyone who says cows are boring or ugly they have so much personality and most importantly are SOOOOO FUCKING CUTEEE

riley...i want u to know that after i received this ask i spiraled so hard that i created an entire toolshed stan/superhero au and also very, very loosely based on pep...but not rlly its very different bc you know how i am all my stans and kyles are separate i guess. ( im insane!! )

but without further ado, here are some toolshed headstannons!

this got REAAAAAAAALLY long there is no spelling, the plot is crazy and its not refined, i just screamed a lot...but i hope it amuses u ok

( i have not played the game in years i just adapted what i could remember so i basically fucked all the canon up again for fun lmao )

-yes he is fucking exhausted hes basically nocturnal because he gets home at the ass crack of dawn and falls asleep all day, misses his lectures, is failing everything...kyle is so mad BUT LIKE KYLE BEING STARTING QUARTERBACK, A SCIENCE MAJOR COLLEGE STUDENT WHEN UR FKN DYSLEXIC, SOMETIMES BEING A MECHANIC AND A SUPER HERO ON CALL??? life is rough 4 him

-in order to preserve their hero identities more i want to say both the hero groups developed methods of concealing their identities

-in fps case, wendy aka call girl developed a kind of green screen technology/or some sort of device that changes their appearances on the fly

-normal!stan is blonde like all my stans and has all the stan piercings ( i pierced his nose again haha ) but when he changes into toolshed and puts the presto-chango up it makes his hair black & puts him in the outfit BUT IT GLITCHED A LIL ONCE...oh my fkn god...so kyle was like...toolshed did u pierce ur nose? he was like FUCK then was like uh...ya! its something im trying out do u like it and hes like yeah it looks rlly good!!! my roomates nose is pierced but urs looks better <3

-ky brought shed back to his dorm room and tried to get him to stay the night to rest, grateful he saved his life...and stan was like oh my god it smells so good in here is that city wok...and kyle was like yeah! its takeout thursday it was for me and my roomate but hes never here and never texts anyways >:( ur welcome to eat it!!! and like DEVOURED IT

-now kyle picks up toolshed!takeout for when he comes by ( simp behavior ) and stan comes back from football practice like OOH IS THAT MAPO TOFU and kyle is like!! DONT TOUCH THAT ITS FOR TOOLSHED!!!! sahdksad *giggling twirling his hair kicking his feet in front of his toolshed poster...smh*

-bc of the disguise technology its hard to tell What toolshed looks like bc his glasses are really reflective, wendy hooked him up with a voice changer device and he only shows up At Night

-but kyle draws him constantly in his notebook ( aw ) like stuff he can remember...what he thinks he looks like...sometimes he thinks he kind of looks like stan and feels insane abt it and is like STOP HAVING A CRUSH ON UR SBF WHO DOESNT LIKE U BACK DUMBASS TRY LIKING THIS GUY THAT ACTUALLY LIKES U

-also yes they are abt to kiss all the time and get INTERRUPTED

...so then stan got really salty and kept trying to talk himself ( stan ) up to kyle As Toolshed like 'uh ur roomate sounds really cool u should give hm a chance haha!' and kyle was like 'no its ok that ship has sailed i like when my men are reliable' SMH...stan tried to act like less cool as toolshed to get kyle not to like toolshed...it didnt work...so now kyle and toolshed are dating...secretly...help...stan is so stressed)

-toolshed and human kite have been slowburning some kind of enemies to lovers thing i think on the battlefield also...idk whats going on but there is Sexual Tension there! hello!

its either like kite was an ex fp and betrayed them for some reason ( some kind of misunderstanding/mindcontrol thing ) and tool/shed kinda had a will they wont they were superhero bestfriends and now they are like reeeeallly hostile salty quasi exboyfriends its a mess

or like kyle was angled against fp bc of the alien stigma and cartman formed that odds and ends outcast group and him and shed are constantly pit against each other

either way mysterion is trying to recruit kite to the fp and toolstan is not happy about it at all...but also stan is antideath and hurting people so he never actually hurts human kite kyle ever and even if theyre fighting and a platform is abt to collapse, stan will tighten the bolts and shift it away from kite at the last second, nose bleedin )

GUITAR crunchy echoing bass coming in. OH those drums fuck. this is just so fun!!! very sarcastic singing its scratching my brain!! and the guitars are so cheeky. layered vocals crescendo in volume cute like harmonies??? ooooo stripping it back then speeding up going louder again is such a choice i love it here. ohhhhhh god i love the keys intro here. bass is sexy and so clear and i’m in love. the odd pitches with the guitar is so nice ! yummy drums!!! synthy business! punky talk vocals with layering going on is so good and these lyrics kinda make me feel insane. god that keyboard part and odd wavering synth in the background is so nice. harsh cymbal type sounds YUM! PICK IT UP LETS GOOOO cute lil tempo change and then right back to it!! ohhhhh slow little breakdown descending in pitch

OHHHH. flat guitar really interesting here. WITH BUZZING KEYBOARD AND BASS ????? drums are really!!! OOOOOH an instrumental soundscape baby!!! i love these vocals he’s got a great voice very punky and when he pitches up it’s really pretty??? also love the return to the darker sounds during the chorus? BASSSSSSS AH GOD !!!!! love the speed and the experimental nature of the chorus !!! 80s video game synth yummy. there’s something so dancy about this and god the vibrato and INSANELY nice drums????

OH FAST DRUMS LETS GO!!! ooooo this bass? is it bass? descending thing is so intriguing! faaaast guitar playing a really fun ear catching riff that’s like. this really is so experimental here. okay there’s some freddie m rasp at some parts which are really interesting and then the harmonies and layering of the vocals in the chorus are crazy! that bass is so consistent and so clear and great!!! ohhhh switch up that RIFF babes!!! it’s all very like buzzy fuzzy yum! ohhh TURN up the volume on the vocals add another lil keyboard thing this is sooooooo intricate!! ECHO on the voice for the fade-out ending with a drum beat to end everything!

ohhhhh that guitar is yummy. drums go hard in this beginning. BASS I HEAR YOU BABY YOU SHINE!! these vocals are so fun and sassy!! oh that odd lil dissonance in parts of this song is so cool??? and the lil changes in riffs and pitches sound really cool <3 ohhhhh BREAKDOWN lets gooooooo!!!! fuck it up instrumental section!!! BASS AND DRUMS ONLY OH LETS GO!!! this is really cool i’m obsessed. ohhhhh????? ohhhhhhhhhhhhh guitar little staccato notes??? this repeating instrumental part is so intriguing colour feel taste wise??? it’s so dark and a little unsettling with the occasional flatness but it’s nice????

BUZZY KEYS LETS GO !!! god. goddddd. that bass goes so hard. ohhhh crunchy soar on that guitar is so nice. drums going HARD. echoing lil keys are fun!! talk vocals as always are so fun !!! PITCH UP LETS GO !!! uplift meeee !!! back to the really punchy instrumentals on top of those buzzy keys that add such an interesting texture!! some little sweeping synthy kind of cymbal effect? ohhhhh. this is so fun !!! also the little whispered backing vox are fuuuuucking scrumptious! oh jesus it’s getting darker babes…… in tone in lyrics and then right back to light???? what in the world how is this this way. GUITAR FUCK IT UP cute lil solo! ohhhhh PLAYING WITH SHADE AGAIN THIS IS SO…… those lowest instrumental notes are so deep and fat and intriguing.

fucking insane drums i love you. ohhh??? xylophone-esque twinkly keys? GUITAR THERE YOU ARE BABY! sounds crunchy and thin but in such an atmospheric way! the “oooohhh”s are really nice with the bit of reverb on it??? this is such a fun little song? those twinkly xylophone sounds are back i love!!! the instruments are so so good at melding together so that those lil keys are picked out of the fold so well???

ohhhhhhhh this is such a fun little intro… i don’t know what the name of this stylistic choice is but it’s like someone swinging you around with the drums bass guitar and then you get layered talk vocals with a BEAUTIFUL ascending like… quartet harmony going on. this is so fun!!! warbling keys again they’re so good at atmospheric sounds here. also sorry those harmonies are needed inside my bloodstream stat! OH KEY CHANGE! uh ohhhhh bestie the dissonance is back in the vocals but not in the instrumental i kinda love the effect??? faaaaaaat guitar just swingin around <3 OH the warbling is so interesting looking slightly more haunting as it progresses! LITTLE DRUMMER BOY GOING OFF WITH A FUN LIL HIGHER PLUCKED GUITAR RIFF? this is so….

THIS IS MY BABY ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS !!!!!! HARPSICHORD WHAT THE FUCK!!!! also with a bassy keyboard behind it! god his vocals in this are so buttery so yummy with just a hint of nasality? also god this fuckin time signature is all fucked the harpsichord is playing in a completely different time. bass and drums come into the fold so carefully subtly it’s beautiful. everything is just a little heavier but it’s still so light and mysterious and plain cool??? guitarrrrrrrrrrrr oh the reverby echo???? this solo always gets me !!!! ohhhhhh vocalisation that’s so echoey and sooooooo otherworldly is insane. the deepness and the layering of it is Fucked. this is truly such a soundscape AGAIN! chu bee fair idk how they’re so in sync when the times are so different.

how to find love and happiness in the present day

ohhhhhh this is different. screechy little synthy things going on to more spoken vocals with an insane lil bass trying going on? so sectioned with the vocals and instruments it’s really cool!!! the layering of the guitar pitches are so nice. AH TWANGY GUITAR mixed with some bongo vibes!!!! nah this is so fun!!! ohhhh these lil drum things sound like trickling raindrops. not sure what exactly they are but it adds such a cool effect. god that high frequency synth solo what the fuck !!!!! so insane so sick!!! ohhhh it fluctuates so nicely and smoothly between notes. descending vocal line with fuzz and partially covered by the instrumentals TO A FADEOUT

Oh This Is Grand. this intro is so beautiful???? what sounds like strings (made with keyboard) with a high smooth guitar part with echoey reverb and bass. OH ITS A SPOKEN PART IN FRENCH. beautiful. these words are so lonely and beautiful too and that’s conveyed so well with the effects placed on the voice itself? drums………. god this is so twin peaks right now !!!! DEEP SUNG VOCALS WHISPERING. back to spoken word with the bass getting a deeper sweeping moment??? oh beautiful deep staccato notes. there’s such a cool effect put on his voice this is….. really cool. the stringy synths really paint the background of this with colour. OHHHH high synthy parts joining the mix in a fun little flourish!!!! that bass…….. is so genuinely yummy holy goooood. spoken word so cinematic and lovely. the “la folie” being sung so deeply and whispery is so nice and comforting….. i love this. beauty guitar part at the end so soft so nice so echoey. drums holding down the fort so well UGH.

thoughts: okay. okay. i was genuinely surprised at how varied and genuinely INTERESTING this album was? like the tempo variations the key changes the instruments used the shifting parts the vocals and the USE of all of it to set tone? the tone itself was also so insane and has to be mentioned because there was so much interplay with shadow and light in each song?????????? incredible. i know talk-singing isn’t for everyone but i think it’s cinematic and cheeky and fun so i loved it. l o v e d. genuinely surprised at this guys!!!

fr! i’ve had such a tough week too. i treated myself to some iced coffee on thursday bc ive been trying to cut down on expenses too (but at least once a week iced coffee is a must). i came back to my mom’s and saw my kitty (tofu’s brother) had blood on his toe literally rn and we’re waiting for some tranquilizers to make effect to see how we can handle de situation and if it’s necessary to have an emergency vet visit. on a better note, i have a friend who’s a tattoo apprentice and im speaking with them to get some small tattoos done soon!

and ateez!!!! i wanted to go see them at coachella soooooo badly! but i was so set on seeing skz (my ults, my darlings) and i love love love ateez but im glad that i waited for lolla instead of coachella😂 im sorry san/yeosang my beloveds💔 im so pumped to see their performance too! Oh my god noooo I feel like you can’t get a break with all these cat incidents lately!! I’m so sad 😢 keep me posted with what happens!! My cat has been having some itching and we took her to the vet but they didn’t find anything wrong so they just prescribed some ointment and told us to make sure she doesn’t go outside (she’s indoor-only so she def didn’t contract anything!) but she’s just been super itchy lately and it’s super weird. I think it’s possibly just the change in weather and overall pollen or dust? So odd :/
