“Dream logic.”
Guilt can sometimes find some very interesting ways to manifest itself in.
Listen. So if you were to ask me what in the scallop is even going on in this comic…I don’t know either—I passed out and four hours later this was on my screen with a blurry effect to make emphasis on the “dreamy” vibes.
STILLLL THATS a lie because I do know what’s happening. I present to you: pre-story VTA!Narinder being bullied by a dream version of the Lamb….it must be quite the experience to see the face of your devoted vessel whom you killed in cold blood every time you try to get some shut eye because sleeping is kind of the only thing you can do when you got no one to spend time with, huh.
If you wonder what’s up with the Lamb’s extravagant outfit, that’s simply the clothing they put on the day they died. And so the form that their dream self chooses to manifest itself in.
Y’know when it’s the day of your death but also the day your god whom you love more than anything will be liberated and you’ll finally be able to rest…in some way it could count as the “happiest day of your life” which is also another way to call your wedding day…ykyk
Anyways I am sorta falling asleep so I’ll be leaving this here and going to bed— Until next time!

Tender.
(Simon Riley × Reader)
He closes the door behind, as a pair of hands reach out to touch his shoulders, before they softly tug on the top of his attire. A sigh leaves his lips when you peel the heavy layer off him, freeing him from the stuffy suit.
You smile at him as he loosens his tie, and you hold out your hand to take it.
He watches you as you fold his suit, and set it down on the stool. Leaving it there to be laundered in the morning.
It's a sight he never thought he'd see, and the one he never got used to.
He wonders if Price ever thought the same.
"Never thought you'd settle down, Captain."
He saw his friend grinned, and his eyes crinkled with amusement.
"Never thought you'd bring someone either, Simon." He chuckled before he patted his back, "A beautiful one, too."
He quietly smiled, while his eyes searched for his lover unconsciously.
Lover.
What an easy word to say, for a tangled mess it left behind.
"Oh…" He heard his friend sighed, as he saw the bride bow down to let a tiny, curious hand touch the mantilla. "Look at her. What I won't do to see her smile."
He let out a snort when he saw his friend softened at the sight of her. Captivated. And tender-struck.
He'd call him mad, if he wasn't affected by it.
Just a little shift of his gaze, he found himself staring at a serene face—that is yours. His heart thrummed when you smiled at the little boy, who shyly hid from the bride behind you and his mother.
A sight that'd plague him for a lifetime.
He blinked, as her voice called him to the present.
"You've been quiet for a while now." She mused, "What's on your mind?"
He looks at her, and notes the way you press your lips together, waiting. "Nothing." Is all he said.
You didn't press it further, and he didn't know if it's alright to keep it that way. You knew that it was a lie, you both knew that, but you didn't show it. You understood him, and he yet again took advantage of it.
You give him a small smile, before you turn to the mirror.
That's when his silence falters.
He knew you didn't turn your back on him, and that you only looked away to unclasp your necklace. But his body tenses up, and compels itself to move towards her.
You're at a halt when his hands pull you into him all of the sudden, while his face is buried in the curve of your nape. "I love you." You heard him whisper, and for a moment, you almost thought he bit his tongue from stating further.
"I know." You murmured against his hair, as you stroked his cheek tenderly.
"I didn't deserve it." He spoke in a low tone—a tone that's reserved for confession.
"It's not your place to judge." You replied to him.
"I didn't love you the way you needed."
"You did. A million times in fact."
"I took your love for granted." His voice trembled when he spoke, "I took advantage of your kindness, and I made you think that you love me, even when—"
"Simon."
He didn't resist it when you took his hands into yours, as you stared into his eyes.
"I didn't love you against my will, I chose this myself." You told him, "You never forced me into this. If anything, I should be blamed for it, because I want you."
You give his hand a squeeze as an assurance.
"You're enough for me, Simon."
His eyes widen, before they soften up by your touch. He reaches up to hold your hand, and presses them against his face.
"You're too good for me." He said as he kissed you palm.
"Learn to live with it." You chuckled, "Because I'm not going anywhere."
"I wouldn't dream of it."
He recites the same promise, as he presses his lips against your finger. A kiss, that'll someday be replaced when he's on his knee.

Whenever I talk about Kim and Harry getting married I inevitably get people in my notes saying things like "they wouldn't get married because no one is married in Revachol anymore" which like sure but also that is definitely a doomer hyperbole. Judit is married, plaisance is married, and Billie and Tommy. Lilienne was married too, and so was Trant. Plenty of people get married in Revachol, and besides that, we know that Harry *wants* to be married. He wanted Dora to be his wife. He still refers to her as his ex-wife and is so incredibly disappointed when he finds out she wasn't. Jean said "no one is married anymore" and that's become like some irrefutable Canon people have adopted but you have to remember Jean is one of the most miserable cunts in the game, of course he's gonna be pessimistic about this *especially* since it was said to Harry, the guy he spends most of the game antagonizing.
I guess my point is that I refuse to believe Harry wouldn't want Kim to wife him up first chance they get just because of a grumpy ass comment made by a dude with the world record for largest stick up ass.

Eddie needed no words to convince Steve that he was beautiful.
Because those infatuated looks that washed over Steve like caramel every time, those reverent touches, those scalding kisses painted on Steve's body every night, and those gentle caresses on his scars had said everything he needed to know.
And yet, Eddie never once forgot to let him know how adored he was.
"You're so beautiful, darling," Eddie kissed his temple softly as they slow-danced in the kitchen.
Smiling, Steve leaned back and craned his neck slightly to give Eddie's chin a peck. "So are you, baby."
They had been preparing dinner but got distracted when Eddie kept sneaking kisses and Steve kept giggling about it.
As Steve was stirring the pot, Eddie had come up behind him and engulfed him in a loose hug with chin resting on his shoulder.
Then Eddie started humming and somehow, they ended up swaying to the off-tuned love song while waiting for their soup.
It was awfully domestic of them, but Steve couldn't care less when he was held in Eddie's arms and knew the sun never got this close before.
Eddie hummed under his breath, arms tightening around his waist and nose burying in the side of his neck.
"Love you, sweetheart," Eddie's words pressed into his skin, warm and wet like the morning rain.
Lacing their hands together, Steve sang softly.
Oh, l've been dreaming through my lonely past Now I just made it, I found you at last.
Eddie turned him around with gentle hands and gazed at him fondly. And Steve felt like his heart was too big for his chest to contain.
So come on, now let's try it, I love you, can't deny
'Cause it's true.
Eddie joined him and together, they finished the song.
I do, I do, I do, I do, I do.
He smiled into the kiss that Eddie drew him in.
Later, they'd have dinner together, would do the dishes while bickering about the movie they watched the other night, would write down the grocery list for tomorrow, would cuddle on the couch to watch some late-night shows, and would snuggle into bed after their refreshing shower.
Steve would exchange a goodnight kiss with his husband and fall asleep in those loving arms.
It was their life, full of love and happiness.
He was glad they had come this far, had survived the impossible, had pushed through hardships to build a home for themselves.
And he was glad they had found each other.
