NinaToby headcanons

At first they'd start out as very distant and they would just be really neutral on each other. Toby would think she's cute but he wouldn't really interact with her and Nina would think he smells bad (he does).

But eventually as they get closer they'd find out they have very similar interests like how they both like animals and make up (to some extent). I think Toby would mostly like watching her put it on and how creative it can be but he wouldn't wanna put any on himself.

However when they get more romantic it'll start off as just like small little comments here and there, Nina would probably make jokes about how he acts like a boyfriend sometimes and Toby will just look away awkwardly.

I feel like even if they do date they're a very on and off thing, like they're not officially dating yet but it's pretty much unspoken in how they act with each other. Like they'll act like everyday couples do (holding hands, kissing, etc) but when ether of them get asked what they are they'll just be like "oh we're very close!"

It's more of Toby's fault because he's a little scared of commitment and Nina is still questioning her feelings for him and her old "relationship" with Jeff. But when she finally figures out her feelings she'd be more than willing to call Toby her boyfriend.

Thinking back to what I said about makeup I feel like Nina would do Toby's makeup while he's asleep since he's a very heavy sleeper. When he wakes up though he's pissed and just gives her a very upset stare before wiping off the makeup as she laughs at him.

‪‪❤︎‬ - Will talk shit about anyone and anything, if Jeff says something weird at dinner you best believe they’re talking about it later.

‪‪❤︎‬ - I know people have said this before but Toby definitely let’s Nina cut his hair, in fact she’s the only person he trusts with his hair.

‪‪❤︎‬ - Piercings too!!! So far Nina has given him snakebites, an eyebrow piercing and a tongue piercing.

‪‪❤︎‬ - When they first became friends Nina made it her mission to teach Toby how to dress and look nice.

‪‪❤︎‬ - Closer than close, you’ll never find them apart, even if they’re arguing they can’t stay away from each other.

‪‪❤︎‬ - Before they started dating they were best friends with benefits and were still oblivious to each other’s feelings, not wanting to ruin their friendship.

‪‪❤︎‬ - I mean they still acted like a couple but were too dumb and scared to ask each other out.

‪‪❤︎‬ - Toby was more than happy to follow her around like a lost dog when they first met.

‪‪❤︎‬ - They spend a lot of time laying around Ninas room doing a whole lot of nothing. Toby prefers Ninas room as he has to room with Jeff.
