Cozmez

Kanata Yatonokami:

Kanata thinks the holiday is useless and a hassle, since you should be showing your love for your partner daily, but he goes based off your opinion. If you asked him to be your valentine he would wince, knowing he had just been thinking about what a stupid concept it was before you had approached him. His face makes you backpedal and then he has to reach out, asking you to be his valentine, which left you wondering if you had just accidentally stepped on his toes by asking first and that was why he made the face he did.

Nayuta Yatonokami:

Nayuta thinks it’s just like any other day but he does like the excuse to get out of the house or take part in discounts that occur around this time. He would very casually ask if you wanted to be his valentine, grinning when you accept like he knew you would. It’s a great excuse to wear a semi-matching outfit (he wasn’t into full-on matching, but having a coinciding color scheme or a bright accessory that connected you was fine) while going out together, pulling you out shopping with him so you could pick something you both liked.

GokuLuck

Kenta Mikoshiba:

Kenta almost said ‘no’ out of reflex but there’s a tiny part of his brain letting out a shrill scream, like a warning that this is an important choice and to consider the choice carefully. Luckily, it wasn’t done in person so it gave him the chance to think, staring at your message for what felt like hours before his fingers would finally move. It’s a simple ‘sure’ but it meant the world to you since it wasn’t followed by an insult, texting back multiple times in a row to let him know you’d be dropping by for a visit as soon as you could.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga is sweating it out, as if he was the one who had asked the question. He wasn’t always aware of holidays like this but when he did realize, his thoughts had immediately went to you. He had considered trying to write out what he wanted to say just so he wouldn’t screw it up, but his hand writing was hard to decipher and left him throwing paper at the wall in irritation as it was yet another thing he couldn’t get right. He can’t help but hug you after you ask, still tongue-tied but hoping you understood just how much you meant to him (and how much he appreciated that you gave him chance after chance to prove himself to you).

Shion Kaida:

Shion has never been asked that, at least, not in the way that you had. Valentine’s Day was a good day to sneak out, find some lonely singles, and enjoy multiple ‘dates’ in a night depending on how thirsty he was feeling. But you had asked with a sweet sincerity, averting your eyes when he looked at you a little too long. He had mostly been trying to see if you were messing with him but it was becoming clear you had meant it, and while he wasn’t quite good at the actual dating part of relationships, he looked forward to having a real valentine.

Yuto Inukai:

Yuto’s absolutely stunned. He was used to sweet old ladies he helped pinching at his cheeks and asking when he’d finally find himself a spouse, but this jumpstarted his heart in an entirely different way. He’s a sputtering mess, saying he was probably working, taking that back because he wouldn’t have to work all day or night, and then fumbling somewhere in between while leaving your question unanswered. When you asked again you took a step closer, taking hold of Yuto’s hand to get him to focus on you; the move is smooth and surprisingly works, with Yuto meeting your gaze and nodding that he’d be happy to be your valentine.

hajun was a busy man, usually neglecting his own needs to ensure that BAE had the best opportunities to succeed in the hiphop industry. more often than not, he forgot to eat in the mornings, his only meal of the day being dinner with allen and anne

but, his sweet girlfriend couldnt let this unhealthy habit continue. the night before, you would end up in the kitchen cooking him a breakfast to pack the next day. it always consisted of some aspects of south korean cuisine to remind him of home, something that he silently appreciated.

it was almost like his routine now to save each of the adorable messages you would write for him, every single one being put in a box under his bed. whenever he felt stressed or like he was useless, hajun would read each of the notes one by one; it never failed to bring a smile to his face at how much you loved him

₊˚✧ NAYUTA YATONOKAMI

whilst nayuta always wanted to be self sufficient and independent, he tended to skip out on meals when he could. it was partially due to him not wanting to stress kanata out, but mostly, it was just him forgetting that he had to eat sometimes

obviously, you hated this habit he had and always reminded him to eat throughout the day, going to the point of cooking him his breakfast and handing it to him when you visited his and kanata's apartment in the morning. nayuta's face would light up each time at the cute bento and even cuter notes, happily giggling to himself like a child as he ate the delicious food

whenever nayuta had a bad day, he would reread the messages you had attached with the bento and a red hue tinted his cheeks and the tips of his ears. kanata often teased his little brother about how giddy he would get when you handed him his bento for the day, but in reality, he was just happy that his little brother had someone that loved and cared for him and his wellbeing

on the other hand, unlike the other two, kanata would almost be embarrassed when you insisted on making his meals for the day and it might make him feel even more insecure about his living situation - it makes him feel like he's being pitied, something he hated. so, more often than not, he would refuse the offer of you making his food

however, if you had already gone to the trouble of buying, cooking and preparing the food for him ... he just might take it from you; of course, not without complaining and huffing. he would never admit to you that he thought it was one of the cutest things in the world, though

when kanata would return the empty bento box to you, he would never directly say that he absolutely loved it. it would always be something like - "i guess it wasnt awful" or "it was edible at least". he just isnt able to openly show his appreciation, but he really does appreciate that you want him to look after himself more

WHEN THEIR S/O IS SICK

KANATA YATONOKAMI

Kanata is never going to leave your side unless it's for something important. He berates you for getting sick, but it's only because he's extremely worried about you.

He'll spoon-feed you if you refuse to eat. He understands that you might not have an appetite right now, but he doesn't want you to starve. He even helps you when you need to drink water. As he lifts your head with one hand, the other holds the glass as he gently pours the water into your mouth.

He keeps to the schedule for when you need to take your medicine, so he reminds you each time. He'll spoon-feed you that too.

But most of the time, he'll just sit beside you – facing you. He lets you hold his hand as you drift to sleep. He won't move from his space especially if his mind is now preoccupied with many thoughts of you, hoping that you'll get better soon.

If he needs to write songs, then he'll have his laptop with him, but he'll keep by your side with headphones on, completely silent.

At times when you're asleep, he'll stroke your face, admiring how peaceful you look when you're not coughing your lungs out. He can't help but smile at this and even kisses you softly on your forehead. Thankfully, you won't ever get to witness that.

"K-Kanata..." you weakly say, reaching out for him.

He takes your hand in his. "What is it? Do you need anything?"

"Am... I... going to die?" you joke.

"Hey, don't talk like that...!" he hisses, pulling on your cheeks.

"Hehe, I'm just messing with you~" you laugh.

He sighs, squeezing your hand a little. "(Y/N), get well soon, okay?"

You smile as you bring his hand to your cheek, making him cup it. And he lets you – of course he does.

"Thank you for staying with me," you whisper.

"Mhm. I'll always stay with you."

NAYUTA YATONOKAMI

Nayuta's always been taken care of by Kanata, so it's finally his time to shine and take care of you! He wants to be seen as caring and responsible, so he'll do anything in his might to do so.

Like Kanata, he'll spoon-feed you if needed, but he's going to be really cheeky about it. He'll treat you like a kid as a joke, but he's just so fond of you that he finds the situation kind of cute.

He'll leave you alone if you need to rest, but when you wake up, he's already sitting beside you. He always greets you, asking how you're feeling. He's not one to stay beside you 24/7 because he thinks you need space, but he's always checking up on you as you never truly leave his mind.

But if you do want him to stay by your side for that long, then he will. He knows what it's like to be in your position, and having company always comforts him.

When you're awake and bored out of your mind though, he'll accompany you to watch videos on his phone together. Other times, he'll just tell you stories of his past or what he did the other day. He wants to keep you entertained, to make you laugh and smile. After all, being sick isn't fun.

He wants to hold you so bad, but he knows he can't otherwise he might get sick too. But that doesn't mean he didn't try to...

In the meantime, all he could do is draw circles on your palm; sometimes, lightly kissing your temple even when you tell him off.

"(Y/N), get well quickly, alright?" Nayuta says softly, peeling an apple for you. "I miss cuddling you..."

"Haha, is that the only reason why you want me to get better?"

"Heh, of course not. I want to see you back on your feet and healthy." He cuts the apple into slices. "Here. Now open wide~"

"Nooo, I can do it myself."

"I'm not letting you. Come on, (Y/N), be a good girl."

You roll your eyes but giggle, letting him plop the slice into your mouth.

"Thank you, Nayuta... for taking care of me."

"Anything for you," he replies, smiling.

spa day!

✣ it takes a long time for him to be okay with the idea, and even then he tends to dislike it. he finds himself unable to relax when his body’s natural response is to be on guard - not to say he doesn’t trust you, but it’s just a habit he can’t quite break.

✣ he’s not exactly fond of physical affection, but he does relate to wanting to perform acts of service for the ones you love. something about the close proximity makes him a little uncomfortable and feel a little awkward, as noted by the subtle twitching of his hands and the way his eyes dart around the room when you try to dote on him.

✣ eventually he’ll give in if you insist enough. he might question exactly what is it you’re doing, what those lotions are for, why the hell are you putting this on his face, but he settle into it reluctantly. if you can manage to disregard his narrowed eyes while you work, then it’s a relatively domestic experience for the both of you. and no, he wasn’t falling asleep towards the end. fuck off.

✣ contrary to his twin, he adores being pampered. the second you offer he’s relaxing in the chair, eyebrow raised whilst silently asking what you’re waiting for. eye masks, facials, hand massages, manicures - he’ll melt at all of it. can you blame him? he is the baby of the family, after all.

✣ nayuta is someone who’s always been attentive toward his skin, but didn’t have the funds for the high end serums and creams. he’ll listen to all your recommendations intently as you give him his own moment of respite. there’s a borderline lovelorn look in his eyes as he admires you and your affections toward him, one that only grows stronger when you turn away from his gaze and grumble in embarrassment.

✣ he starts off in the same boat as kanata ; that is, a little unwilling to be vulnerable around you like that. however he’s most certainly done similar things due to his career as a model, so it takes him much less time to get used to it. he might make a comment here or there about whether or not you’ll match up to the high end day spas he goes to, but just whack him up upside the head if he does.

✣ it’s expected, but his skin is near flawless. he simply laughs at your woes (“there’s nothing for me to even take care of!”) but will challenge you if you try to back down. with a watchful eye he’ll observe all your movements, the way your tongue peeks out ever so slightly as you focus on helping him relax - but he’ll ensure you don’t see the twinkle of affection in his irises.

✣ as much as you love kei, he is borderline unsettling when it comes to this. not by anything he says or even does, but because he doesn’t move at all. you’re tempted to check for a pulse most of the time - is he even blinking? he says it’s so he doesn’t cause any disruptions for you and while the gesture is appreciated, his thousand yard stare unnerves you. the decision to avoid eye contact for most of this is a better one on your part.

✣ the further you get into spoiling him, the more he softens up. he prefers to watch whatever it is you’re doing while quietly asking about every product. there’s a lot of new things involved and it’s a common habit of his to take interest in whatever you’re into. the treatment you give him is much less harsh than the treatment he’s been used to for so long, which ends up with him drifting off to sleep - a fond smile on his face as you fill his dreams.

✣ playing up the faux betrayal, shion will act as if you’ve insulted him by insinuating his skin isn’t already perfect. he backtracks when you shrug and say you can spend time doing something else, getting himself comfortable while you gather products. shion is fully aware of the effect his voice has on you and puts it to good use when he tells you to be gentle with him, an infuriatingly attractive smile on his face.

✣ the further you get into your impromptu spa session, the more shion’s stomach twists and turns. he doesn’t dislike it, per say, but he’s used much more erotic shows of affection with the people he spends intimate time with. the fact there’s no lecherous intentions in your actions fills him with a longing for a more domestic lifestyle with you, but he’s quick to push it down in fear that he’ll ruin a good thing by wanting more.

• The first few times you decided to wake your boyfriend up with sweet kisses on his face, he couldn't help but get startled

• "What are you doing?"

(hellooo I didn't want to leave this comment till the end just in case you got confused but I interpreted your prompt a little differently because the request is a bit vague , I interpreted as “reader who is sweer/affectionate and dresses up in cute fashion” I hope you don’t mind!)

Hajun Yeon

You were a complete contrast to Hajun’s sadistic yet prince-like nature, he couldn’t help but tease you when you happily accepted one of his requests. However, he doesn’t let anyone else take advantage of your kindhearted nature, easily driving them away with his glare.

Hajun finds it cute that you want to match outfits with him whenever you two go out on dates together, he could easily pull off any outfit you picked out for him even though they might not be his personal style. You loved seeing Hajun dressed up in clothes that make you feel happy and wanted to share that part with him!

You often showered Hajun with words of affection so casually because you genuinely love him a lot, he usually takes your compliments well replying with a simple “thank you” keeping his cool personality. You can’t help but chuckle softly at him when he does try to hide his flustered face with his typical closed eyed smile.

Reo Maruyama

No one is cuter than himself but he will make an exception just for you, you’re the (second) cutest in his eyes. He thinks you're cute but not as cute as him lol. He adores the way you dress and compliments your outfits and how you look regularly whenever you two see each other, asking you where you got a certain piece of clothing.

Reo is mischievous, when he gets into trouble or into a fight with Satsuki he immediately rushes into your arms and hopes that you take his side of the argument which you often do. In cases where you don’t take his side, you tell him off in a polite way and afterwards give him a headpat and let him get away with whatever mischief he caused.

You’re willing to go to most places with Reo, his favorite place to hang out with you is the arcade. Plenty of games to play together and surrounded by crane games filled with cute animal plushies, it's like both of your interests in one place! Reo is good at these types of stuff and has won multiple prizes from them, you two have matching stuffed animals that you sew clothes for and make sure it is in good condition.

Kanata Yatonokami

When you two stood next to each other, you were like the sun and he was like a rain cloud due to the way you two were dressed. You tried to convince Kanata to match with you but he did not like wearing all the frills and ribbons you typically wore, standing in front of the mirror with a frown on his face and a cute bow tied on his hair.

-Dongha kind of just deemed you as his friend and had Chungsung learn sign language to be sort of the middle between the two of you. Making him double as a personal translator so that way you don't have to write everything.

-Truly doesn't even notice that you're deaf sometimes because Chungsung is always telling him what you're saying after he says something.

-He does end up picking up some sign language after a bit and starts to understand and often will tell Chungsung that he already knew what you said and he doesn't have to repeat it.

-You likely aren't going to be face to face with Kenta all that often in the first place. Seeing as he is sort of locked up, you probably met him through a video game where you both ended up clicking.

-He quite honestly didn't even realize you were deaf at first since you both would just message each other when you saw the other online and never really called.

-The first time you come visit him though, he is honestly a little shocked when you sign to him, a confused look on his face as he asks if you can hear him. He can't watch his mouth well so he ends up coming off a bit harsh or rude when he does ask.

-He's quite content with reading what you want to say through paper when you do come to see him though. He tried to learn sign language only to get annoyed whenever someone asked him what he was doing and he ends up only learning to sign stuff like 'how are you?' and then he can't understand the rest. But it's the thought that counts!

-Nayuta will always make sure you can hear him well and is willing to learn sign language so you don't have to carry a paper and pencil around everywhere.

-He'll make a bunch of mistakes but he's trying and it's honestly just really nice to have a good friend like him! He's willing to break the sort of 'barrier' between your guys communication by learning for you.

-He's also always there to protect you, especially if you come to visit him in the slums. He protects you from quite nearly anyone trying to mess with you because you're his friend, of course!

-Hajun doesn't really have an opinion on the fact that you're deaf or use sign language or writing to communicate. He learns sign language for the sole purpose of you not having to write everything down.

-He won't ever really use sign language himself once he learns unless you aren't able to hear at the very moment for whatever reason it might be. He just prefers to speak since you can in fact hear him.

-Again, similar to Nayuta he kind of protects you in a way from people who tend to be insensitive towards you or act rudely towards you just because you're deaf.

You would have stayed at their apartment while they were away and Hajun spent all the last days buying a lot of stuff for you, like your favourite snacks and meals. Even if sometimes sadistic, he really cares about his friends, and especially about you. "Darling, I've also bought some chips and snacks, in case you want to watch a movie at night..!". You smiled at him, happy to see how caring he was behaving. You could see a soft fear in his eyes, a fear that he was able to hide but you could still see. So you got the chance, when you both were alone and he was preparing his own luggage: "Hajun.. It will be a short vacation. I won't forget you", you said chuckling surprising him. He totally acts like he's not bothered

You're gone? That's fine! Have a great trip!

He's totally fine being left alone!

In fact, he's been alone most of his life!

He can survive a few weeks without you!

Easy, no problem!

The signs of him missing you are slow to present themselves, but if you're like Nayuta, they're glaringly obvious.

It starts with accidentally making an extra plate of food and then shrugging it off, like he didn't forget you weren't joining them for dinner.

And when it comes to chores around the apartment, he mentions it's your turn to do them and Nayuta has to remind him you're not here.

So he obviously takes over because you wouldn't want him to be so lazy, or something like that.

And Nayuta can hear how he talks about you way more as you're gone for longer and longer

Everything reminds Kanata about you and his brother has to listen to his brother rant about you all day.

Anytime he tries to bring it up that he may miss you and he should just call you, he shuts that shit down so fast.

Assures you he is fine and he can handle himself.

He doesn't need to call you like some clingy child!

In fact, he's more than happy to have a bit of time on his own!

It's his way of proving he's still independent!

But Nayuta knows that this kind of behavior isn't sustainable and cannot go on forever.

As he watches his brother continue his downward spiral into missing you, he takes it upon himself to call you.

You're obviously relieved because you've been trying to get a hold of Kanata, but he's been trying to prove he's independent and doesn't need you as much as he lets on.

Nayuta assures you he's fine physically, but he's not sure how much longer that will last.

You tell him to call later tonight and then give the two of you some private time so you can talk.

He agrees and sets the plan in motion, telling Kanata he's going to go visit Shiki.

Kanata answers the phone and when he hears your voice, he finally breaks.

And I mean full on mental breakdown.

He misses you so much and he's disappointed in himself that he's not strong enough to be away from you for so long.

You assure him he's plenty strong and he doesn't need to be so hard on himself.

You tell him just how much you miss him as well and how much you want to be there with him right now to hug him and tell him everything is alright.

You promise you'll be home as soon as possible and the two of you will be able to talk in person regarding his insecurities and your time apart.

Kanata, to his credit, tells you how much he loves you and how he's desperately waiting for you to come home.

With promises made, you both hang up, feeling closer than before.

Nayuta Yatonokami:

He tries to be strong like his brother.

But it's easier for Nayuta to break than Kanata.

However, he's not quite as "aggressive" with how he shows he misses you, if that makes sense.

While Kanata lives in a state of denial, Nayuta is clingy.

You can't go an hour without getting at least two texts from him.

He just wants to talk to you and make sure you are okay.

He's never been apart from you for this long and it's a little scary for him.

At night, before you both go to bed, you spend at least an hour on FaceTime.

You both talk about your day and anything new, cool, or exciting to share.

Despite how much he hates being apart from you, Nayuta really does love listening about how you're enjoying your time.

You have so many cool stories to share and you're so good at telling them, he feels like he's right there with you.

Really you tell the best bedtime stories in his opinion.

However, in the morning, when he realizes he's alone...

It makes his heart hurt.

He misses you and wants you by his side again!

Kanata is quick to pick up on his brother's feelings.

At first, he tries to distract him and remind him that he can lean on him in times of distress.

But eventually, longer than he cares to admit, he knows his brother's need for you is too strong.

He needs to do something about it.

And so Kanata swallows his pride and calls you, asking you to come home.

While you unfortunately can't hop a plane and fly in tonight, you promise to talk to Nayuta about his feelings as soon as you can.

That night, during your FaceTime call, before you can even say anything, Nayuta speaks first.

He apologizes for monopolizing your time while you're away and how clingy he's been.

He tells you he'll try to back off for both of your sakes.

And that's when you have to shut him down.

You tell him you miss him just as much as he misses you, maybe even more.

While you can't leave right away, you plan on getting home as soon as possible, because you need him and he needs you.

You both cry together for like an hour, but it's a good cry.

Because you both know that you both love each other more than anything in the world.

And that is definitely something to cry about.

Kanata might genuinely consider leaving you at the bar, up until he thinks about some creep trying to lure you home and he’s filled with murderous energy that really doesn’t have you keen to go home with him. When his phone started buzzing he noticed that you were secretly texting him, letting out a deep sigh and trying to covertly text you back; he described the clothes he was wearing and told you it was a friend of his, twitching when you responded he didn’t have friends, but finally listening when he told you he was waiting for you to come home. Frustrating as it was, he was glad that you at least listened when you were communicating with the Kanata you recognized.

Nayuta Yatonokami:

Nayuta simply backed off temporarily. He left the vicinity, fixed his hair in the bathroom mirror, and changed the jacket he was wearing by tying it around his waist, before he went back out to speak with you. He let you know that you’d accidentally called him, showing his phone as proof to the missed phone call (which had led him to searching you out in the first place). You seemed to squint hard at him before smiling, greeting your boyfriend with a happy ��Nayutaaaa!’ before throwing yourself at him. He didn’t know if he’d be able to walk you home when you were tossing yourself at him like a sack of bricks, but he’d at least be with you if you had to sleep on the street that night.

Ryu Natsume:

Ryu has an advantage here. He’s so incredibly unique that, even though you drunkenly mistook him as an odd stranger trying to hassle you, his whining quickly caught your heart in a trap. He was like a little stray cat who incessantly followed you until you had no choice but to invite them inside, their insistence charming and familiar (except in this case, the familiarity is for a reason). He doesn’t seem upset that you forgot about him, seeming to think you were just playing a game you hadn’t told him about, and he cheerfully takes on the role as your ‘not boyfriend’ while you tear up and tell him to be your boyfriend again right now or else.

at the end of the concert, he helped hand out the cupcakes, making it quite a comical sight. a big, scary, intimidating man handing out cutely decorated cupcakes to fans almost half his height. it made you laugh on the inside, but you knew that ryoga could be gentle when he wanted to, as he was always with you

KANATA YATONOKAMI

Kanata knows how kind you are to people, that's how you managed to steal his heart. He doesn't really mind it because that's just the way you are. You're the complete opposite of him after all – kind and friendly, outgoing and energetic. However, he does have his limits to this attitude of yours.

He won't admit it, but he hates how too friendly you are to people – especially towards other guys. Seeing you smile so radiantly like that to other people other than himself will often have him heated.

And what's worse is that you're so naive.

Because of his past, he's able to recognise people's true intentions. It is no different when it comes to you. Your kindness is easily taken advantage of and this frustrates Kanata immensely. He either has to tell the other person to fuck off or drag you away from the conversation.

But the real reason he's doing this is because he's jealous. He's jealous that other people are able to experience your kindness – that he isn't the only one who gets to be treated that way.

He won't upset you and confess any of that. He vows to take those feelings to the grave.

But Kanata is extremely transparent when it comes to you, so you can immediately tell that he's jealous. His eyebrows are crossed and he has such a sour expression on his face. His voice deepens a bit and he becomes too clingy that it can be deemed insufferable to others, but cute to you ♡.

So when he does get jealous, he would hold your hand more often. Sure, he holds your hand occasionally, but Kanata seems to be the type that dislikes PDA. However, when someone else steals your attention away from him, his dislike for PDA is thrown out the window.

He makes the other person know that you belong to him by pulling you close and touching you up, glaring at them like a feisty cat. Though, he won't go too far to kiss you in front of them... not when it's not needed, of course.

Ultimately, he's just outward with his jealousy that it can be seen as possessive. He isn't afraid to cuss people out or to tell them that they're taking too much time with his girlfriend.

NAYUTA YATONOKAMI

Nayuta, as spoiled as he is, expects you to only act like that around him. No one else deserves your kindness. He wants you all to himself.

He's more chill about your kind personality even when you're so oblivious to people's ulterior motives. So, he'll indirectly help you out when that happens. Usually, he'll butt into the conversation and say no on your behalf or he'll question you whether you really want to do xyz.

He won't cuss out the other person, but his word choice is still considerably harsh. They immediately back away after his confrontation.

But when things go too far for his liking, he'll resort to excessive PDA. Compared to Kanata, he loves PDA – it's second nature to him, so he isn't afraid to wrap his arms around your waist and give you a few kisses here and there to get the message across. When the two of you leave the situation, he would look back at the person and stick his tongue out.

However, Nayuta is more mature when it comes to his jealousy. He's not one to make a scene, but he's witty with it. Sometimes, you can't even spot when he's jealous because he either finds the situation cringey or 'not worth the hassle.' He knows that you'll always be his and nothing can change that.

But that doesn't mean you should completely ignore him for someone else. He's one to get upset and possibly give you silent treatment. You would have to apologise and reassure him when he's lying in bed, his back turned from you.

Thankfully, he doesn't get aggressive when he's jealous though. He never takes it out on you, but he just can't help but fall quiet. So, he'll always appreciate it when you stay by his side and draw patterns on his skin. It comforts him in a way and shows that you didn't mean to neglect him like that.

kanata:

who wins? depends.

✣ probably one of your worse ideas, if we’re being real. he has to be in a specific mood in order to go along with your whims. half the time he ends up shoving you off of him whilst looking like an irritated cat. when he does fight back, he’s careful not to actually hurt you even though you can’t tell with his gritted teeth and narrow brows. there’s a good chance you can take him out and he’ll just huff and ask if you’re done being stupid ; but be warned that while he’s not very muscular, he does sometimes get a rush of adrenaline in a fight that gives him a quick edge over his opponent and the same applies here - before you know it, you’re underneath while he looks down at you, unimpressed. “annoying,” he’ll mutter, and before you can protest he’ll give you a chaste kiss on the lips before leaving and acting like the situation never happened at all.

iori:

who wins? you.

✣ realistically, iori could knock you out in one quick strike - however, he loves you a lot and loves being the source of your happiness just as much which means he will always let you win. always. you could give the most half hearted attack towards him and he’ll be falling dramatically, going on about how his beloved has betrayed him and left him to die. his shit eating grin as he does so takes any chance of believing him and squashes it. the only retaliation he offers is gently tugging you down with him as he lays on the floor and letting your body rest atop his. he’ll give you that stupid lovesick look he always has when you’re in the room and lean up to kiss your forehead, mumbling a sweet nothing about how proud he is of you for being so brave and strong.

nayuta:

who wins? nobody.

✣ nayuta specializes in stealthily dealing with people rather than physically, as shown by when he pickpockets those thugs for shiki. and even then, he doesn’t really feel like exerting the energy needed to pin you down most of the time. so what's his solution? act like a big baby. the second you launch at him or anything of the sort, he’ll whip out the pout and puppy-dog eye combo with the full knowledge it tugs at your heartstrings. he’s so unbearably cute that you just give up and smother him in hugs and kisses instead, something he’d much rather participate in.

satsuki:

who wins? you.

satsuki is actively terrified a simple hug from him will hurt you, you think he’d ever fight back? he’ll be surprised for a moment when you jump onto his back and almost go to retaliate before realizing it’s you and instead stiffening from such blatant contact. there’s a moment where he’s scared you’re mad at him and that’s why you attacked him, but once you explain you’re just playing around he’ll stand there and take whatever you give him. he’s a relatively built guy so the chance you do any actual harm is minimal, and he'll just be elated you're acting so adorably around him. the raging blush on his face has a higher chance of KOing him than you do.

zen: who wins? him, but he tried to let you win.

this man is built like a brick wall. there is 0% chance you’d be able to knock him down or do him much damage at all if you’re just playing with him. he’ll look at you with a little bit of confusion while you struggle to try and get him to budge. it turns into a smile when you drum your fists against his chest while complaining about how he’s too damn muscular. “alright then,” he’ll laugh and relax his body to give you a better chance, “do your worst, love.” it ends with him apologizing profusely for the way you landed on your ass when trying to push him over.

yuto:

who wins? hancho.

yuto on his own is a bit of an easy target. sure, he’s a prison guard but you’re not a prisoner and he wouldn’t want to harm you. besides, he kinda leaves “cop mode” behind once he’s home with you so it would be a huge shock to him when you sneak up and tackle him down on the couch. he’ll stammer and blush while you straddle his hips with his wrists pinned above his head, and your victory looks to be assured when a familiar red glint appears in his eyes. “where’s all that bark from before?” hancho will growl in your ear with a smirk on his face as you wriggle helplessly beneath him.

The back of your head rests against a hard surface.

Cold.

Or so it would seem if it wasn’t because of what has transpired tonight between you and the person matching your position right now.

Over you and him, smokey clouds drift past, their curves outlined in the yellow gleam of city lights.

A fake shooting star made of darkness and pollution.

By his side, however, you could easily believe it was the stella of a comet, gracing this shared moment. Akin to a happy ending written in gilded cursive letters; a silver lining in the grayness of your days lately.

You turn over your side, curling in on yourself, softly nudging an empty box of cup noodles in the process.

One of your lover’s arms comes to envelop you.

You bury your face in the crook of his shoulder.

And reminisce.

In spite of the cacophony of worries that dissonantly waltzed in your mind these days, the sounds softened when you were with him.

A few bold stars dare to peek from behind the black clouds.

You exhale, light vapor drifting away into the night.

“Nayuta,” You call your boyfriend, your eyes, speckled with scarce constellations searching for his.

“Hm?” He looks at you, that gaze of his that oftentimes seemed so far away, now akin to twin violet nebulas within your reach.

Your hand touches his cheek, the balmy silence broken only by your fingers tenderly ruffling his hair.

A smile curls on your lips at his soft giggles.

“Thank you, for today.” You utter. Nayuta looks back at you, head tilted to the side, in silent question.

“I… Well, lately… It’s been complicated, you know?” You continue. Breathing slowly for a second, you relish in his closeness, in his tender touch. “I’ve been feeling like, out of place for a while. As if… I was alienated from everyone else.” You close your eyes briefly, meeting your partner's when you open them once more.

“But it’s different with you, Nayuta.” Lying on your side, your body naturally shuffles closer to his. “You… you feel like home, Nayu.”

Then, a dry chuckle leaves your lips, as you roll back on your side, the few stars above seemingly moving with the passing clouds.

“What am I even saying, right?” One of your hands reaches out, skywards.

Fingers splayed out, clusters of stars gather in between, like the slivers of hope Nayuta always made you see just by existing beside you.

Your boyfriend’s hand joins yours, an infinity on your palms, so close and yet so far all at once.

Being like this, in the quiet of night, day to day troubles seemed miles away.

You can breathe.

The tension on your forehead lessens; the pumping headaches you’ve been dragging for days drift off like helium balloons into space.

A tiny dot, eventually erased from the stars you’ll write for a tomorrow in which your lips laugh with Nayuta’s.

His pinky touches yours playfully, goosebumps in his wake at the tender contact.

Turning his palm upwards, his fingers slot between yours, squeezing your hand reassuringly; a promise to be here, with you, even if the sky were to fall.

“In that case,” Nayuta begins, bringing your joined hands to his lips, the brief brush of his mouth against the back of your knuckles akin to stardust’s caress. “Welcome home, [Y/n].”

At the warmth of his kiss, you briefly close your eyes.

When you open them again, a sea of stars is mirrored in your lover’s lilac stare.

“The sky’s beautiful.” You murmur, dazed, before your lips envelop his.
