Sophie and Agatha don’t need to be a couple to be queer.

I really dislike the rhetoric that if agaphie isn’t canon, than Agatha and Sophie are straight. They are both EXTREMELY queer coded as just individuals. (tbh so many of the sge characters are -- that series is the gayest fucking heteronormative shit I have ever laid eyes on smh)

Let’s start with Agatha, coz hers is the most obvious. That girl is a bisexual through and through. From the start, she is already deemed an outsider by her village; that Randy guy or whatever even says that she “has no friends and is queer”. So, from the get-go, Agatha is already different. She also doesn’t fit into the conventional notions of femininity. She doesn’t like very traditional feminine activities. In the books, she dresses goth as opposed to the very ‘girly’ girls in her village. In the movies, she dresses in a very androgynous/masc style. (also keep in mind that this series is 19th inspired — so what was considered gnc is gonna be different)

When she’s sent to the school for good, she is forced into roles of femininity that she never had to before. However, as much as she hates it, she still wants to be perceived as beautiful and normal, hence the famous dovey ‘you’re beautiful just the way you are’ scene.

Now from then on, i wish that instead of deciding to change herself and beecome very feminine, Agatha, decides to accept who she is, and maybe even wears a suit to the dance or smth. Now, alot of people argue that Agatha had to unlearn her internalised misogyny, which she definitely had a lot of; please remember that alot of this misogyny came from never being accepted as the girl that she was in her home town. Once Dovey accepts her and tells her that she’s beautiful, Agatha is able to feel more confident and secure in gender presentation more than ever while ALSO accepting the girls around her who are more feminine.

Ok, now moving onto Sophie. that girl is the biggest comphet lesbian i have ever seen. Like please, her attraction to men is not geniune in the slightest. Her crush on Tedros was more about securing her status as the princess she always wanted to be, her crush on Rafal was also about status, and the desperate need to feel loved and wanted by somebody. And as for Rhian, I assume she just wanted to feel loved properly after her failed relationships (don’t even get me started on hort -- she settled for that boy big time and i’m still mad about it).

I definitely think that before the sisters plot she had a crush on agatha (and agatha had a crush on her lol) and later on she was def in love with Nicola -- No i will not elaborate (ok perhaps i will but on a seperate post lmao).

Anyways, as much as i wish Agaphie had been canon, I wish at least we got a confirmation that Agatha is bi & gnc (or perhaps nb??) and that Sophie is a lesbian with comphet. They are both so fucking queer coded and we deserved it. Having hope that this is addressed in the movie.

Also lets not even get started on Tedros’ bi coding lol.

Sure, there's this whole section in Romance on the site posted below, and I'd also really highly recommend It Goes Like This by Miel Moreland (which does have a bi MC among the cast) and mention the new K-PoP thriller Gorgeous Gruesome Faces by Linda Cheng. There are also three country music YAs to have on your radar: A Little Bit Country by Brian D. Kennedy, The Last Love Song by Kalie Holford, and Every Time You Hear That Song by Jenna Voris (bi protag) - the latter two come out in April. Oh, and I also recommend Phil Stamper's As Far As You'll Take Me, which stars an oboe player.

Apparently the only thing that helps me while I can't write my fic is incoherently spilling my ideas for it so

Rose and Tentoo and Donna and Shaun got beautiful daughters, so it stands to reason Martha and Mickey got AFAB and AMAB twins who are both nb leading to lots of shenanigans. Unfortunately for them, the Doctor can tell them apart by the number of their head hair. They were named Luke and Leia and still use those very names 🤣

Sorry but I never liked God’s Country! Never bought it never streamed it. For me that was not Blake plus I can’t stand Hardy or his rah rah music.

After a few brief conversations over the phone and social media, Alfie found himself thrust into the awkward process of dating again. Reluctant, he was adamant that he didn’t need to. Needless to say, his friend disagreed and was persistent. Therefore, he figured the only other way to get them out of his hair was to just go out on one date of their choosing. The thought of his friend playing matchmaker was ridiculous, and if anything, he would rather be sitting at home with Scarlett and Sophie, watching kiddie films or doing some sort of fun activity. Did his date even know he was a single father? What will they think if they didn’t know and soon find out? Not that he particularly cared.

Waiting on the sidewalk, Alfie almost contemplated cancelling and leaving there and then. His hands awkwardly stuffed in the pockets of his jacket as he looked around, searching for the car that would soon pull up next to him with his date in tow. He would have drove himself but it was unfortunate that his car was in the garage, undergoing repairs. Fifteen minutes later and he was still stood there, idly tapping his foot against the pavement as he reminded himself it was no big deal. But it was, the voice in his head told him. (To which he explicitly stated to shut the fuck up). Just as he was about to leave, much to both his relief and dismay, a car pulled up beside him. Bending down to peer through the window, ensuring it was the person he’d only saw in pictures, Alfie raised an awkward hand to form a wave, smiling a little as he got into the passenger side. “Hey,” He greeted politely. “Almost thought you were bailing on me. Let me guess: traffic?” He joked with a light laugh, pulling over the strap of the seat belt, clipping it into place. “I’m Alfie by the w–” Cutting himself off, he mentally cursed at himself: of course they knew his name. Clearing his throat awkwardly, he mumbled, “You already knew that.”

This was going to be fun.

Her parents had her sister a few years after they had Lake, and the moment she was born, Lake was a doting sister. Their bond has only grown since, making their thick as thrives.

Growing up Lake remembers more bad stuff about her mom, then good. As she never stepped up to being a mother, while her dad became a dad the moment the stick turned pink.

Owen Parrish has always been there for his daughters, through thick and thin. Sophie hasn't been in the picture much since Owen grained full custody of his children two year after their divorce. As originally, the courts ruled in favor of the mother, but would come to see that she wasn't fit for the girls.

Owen moved out of the house he shared with Sophie and the girls, and moved closer to his brother, Jake, and his family, after the custody battle. Lake was nine at the time.

Cousin to Ryan and Drew Parrish.

Lake was an extremely active girl in sports during her childhood. Everything from volley ball, to soccer, to cheerleading, and even basketball. She enjoyed being in sport.

During her senior year, she was in a car accident that nearly took her ability to walk. Her future in sports were done, and the doctors weren't hopeful, but they didn't know Lake. She wasn't going to take no for an answer. She'd work and work to get better, and she did just that.

She would attend college for literature arts, something no one thought would be what she'd go to college for, but she loved it nonetheless.

At 24 she published her first book, and for the next ten years would continue to publish book after book, series after series. She enjoys writing crime, mystery, and romance. Which made it no surprise when she ended up in the genre of dark romance.

Her career as a writer is very successful, and she has a large following behind it.

She coaches cheerleading at the local middle school and high school. She will also time to time coach soccer and volleyball.

When she was 29, she'd come to meet one of her cheerleaders, 10 at the time, who would change another course in her life. A girl from a very troubled home life, would come to find her graces in the care of Lake. At 30, Lake would sign papers that would give her guardian of the girl. Her name Emilia "Emmy".

She is currently happily engaged to Greta Morrison, they live in Orchid Park, with Emmy, and their two cats, Shadow and Tiger.

Lake is a romantic, and extremely family orientated. She has a very close relationship to her dad and sister, as well her extended family.

She has published many books, but currently her two most popular are series. The Kingdom Series which sits at 5 books. And The Lords of Chaos which it's 3rd book is to be released in March.

She has been reached out to about making her Kingdom Series into a movie series, in which, she has accepted, and the process for that had started early last year.
