ok I've been going thru like the last 6 years of my art and finding some things I wanna save for reference but definitely DO NOT wanna post on main. so into the trashpile (this blog) they go :y

that feel when you and your hot nerd monster boyfriend are working in his basement lab one day and he just POOFs out of existence right before your eyes??

so you spend months trying to figure out where he went, trying anything to get him back, sleeping next to the device he was working on when it happened, just in case.

then one day, as suddenly as he vanished, he reappears- except... wuh-oh! he came back wrong. dun dun dun

he insists that despite everything, it's still him. your beloved W.D.

he talks like him, smells like him. even looks the same, aside from some... glaring differences... but claims what befell him in his absence is to blame for all that. although you desperately want to believe him, something in your gut screams "RUN".

maybe it's the way he's all too at ease with what was ostensibly a horrible ordeal for both of you, or the unnerving way he seems to delight in your distress, your pain, your tears. that's not the W.D. you remember.

will you stay and persevere? will you give up on the monster you love? do you have a choice? could this guy just not be a freak for like 5 minutes if his life depended on it? we'll find out someday maybe if I ever draw/write it out

i googled his name because it's very rare so i thought it would help me find his facebook, but i literally found his twitter (where he liked a bunch of tweets about feminism and supporting women's sports <3), his past work profiles where he apparently used to teach sign language?? like i could even fall more in love, and then birth date and his whole ass ADDRESS 😭😭

i was literally just trying to find pictures of him or something and now i know where he lives (he already told me) and i know more about his past teaching jobs and what college he graduated from.

i also have his phone number for a different reason, but this has made me realize that i really want him to give me his phone number so maybe that will be my current goal 🤭
