Taking Care of You

Misty Luggins X GN! Reader

Misty had another stressful day at work and needs a quiet night at home with her partner.

The front door swung open and in stomped the chief of police. Her once tight, neat bun became a mess on top of her head. Her head was throbbing from the commotion of the day. Giving orders, having paperwork, chasing those pesky Bad Guys. She needed a break from it all.

Misty threw her keys on a nearby table and sat down on a chair, the wood creaking under her weight. A sigh escaped her lips as she ran a hand down her face in an attempt to rub away the dark bags under her eyes. She began to fiddle with the top button on her uniform shirt, but her tired fingers could do so little.

Just as she was about to give up and rip it off, a small creak came from the stairs. Misty's head whipped towards the sound. Her body relaxed when she saw Y/N stepping down from the last step. A soft smile made its way onto Misty's face for the first time that day.

"Hey," Y/N said softly. "How was work?"

Misty groaned and cracked her knuckles. "Stressful. Larry kept getting in the way and that damn wolf got away again." She growled before pausing to compose herself. "But I did get a lot of tedious tasks done."

Y/N smiled and made their way towards Misty and kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry to hear that. But I'm proud of you, love. I really am."

The smile made its way back onto Misty's face as she looked Y/N in the eyes. She held their chin in her hand and leaned in to kiss them. The kiss was soft and passionate, something Misty saved for behind doors and away from her professional life. When she pulled away her smile grew. "Thank you."

Y/N smiled before looking at Misty's uniform and messy bun. "Would you like me to help you with this?" They asked, fiddling with the top button.

"If you would be so kind," Misty said, just above a whisper. Her hand came up and caressed Y/N's cheek, who smiled in return.

Misty dropped her hand as Y/N set to work on the restricting uniform. Button after button, they slowly helped Misty out of her shirt to reveal her t-shirt underneath. Once the top was out of the way, Y/N kneeled and worked on untying the double knotted laces on her shoes.

"When is your next day off?" Y/N asked, their eyes still on the laces.

"Friday," Misty replied. Her head was leaned back and her eyes were closed.

"Just Friday?" Y/N asked, their eyes leaving the laces to look at her face.

"I need all the time I can get to catch those Bad Guy pests." Misty turned her head to look at Y/N. "I promise, once they're locked up, I'm all yours."

Y/N giggled. "I like the sound of that, chief."

The two shared a chuckle before Y/N returned to Misty's second shoe and its laces. Once they were untied and pulled off her aching feet Y/N stood up and kissed Misty on the forehead. They moved to stand behind her and set to work on her bun.

"You know you don't have to do all this for me," Misty said, turning her head to look at her partner.

"I know," Y/N replied. Their hands guided Misty's head back to facing front. "But I want to. I know how hard you work. Even the chief of police needs to be coddled."

Misty hummed and closed her eyes at the feeling of Y/N's hands working on her hair. A big sigh escaped her mouth when the bun was finally down and her hair was set free to hang down the back of the chair. Y/N's hands never ceased their actions though.

Y/N continued to massage Misty's scalp and plant small kisses here and there. They smiled at each of Misty's contented noises. Her strawberry blonde hair was soft and silky, pleasing to the touch. Y/N almost never skipped an opportunity to play with her hair.

After some time, Y/N leaned over to look Misty in the eyes. "How are you feeling?"

Misty smiled and stood up. She reached for Y/N's waist and pulled them into a hug. They wasted no time hugging her back.

"I'm feeling much better," Misty said and planted a few kisses on Y/N's neck. "You always know how to help me, don't you?"

Y/N chucked and leaned further into the hug. "You're very welcome."

Misty pulled away to kiss Y/N's lips once again, not as softly as the first time, but still full of passion. Her hands tightened around their waist as she deepened the kiss. She pulled away when she noticed their legs growing weak. She chuckled at their surprised face.

"I need to shower real quick, then we can watch a movie or something. How's that sound?" Misty said.

"I'd like that," Y/N replied. "I'll get started on snacks."

Misty hummed and gave them one more kiss before retreating to the bathroom, not before grabbing her discarded uniform shirt and shoes.

Y/N smiled to themself. There certainly wasn't anything they wouldn't do for Misty. She had such a hard job, all they wanted was to be her welcome home hug and safe person to spill her thoughts to.

Random HC time!

The Bad Guys share a huge fear of thunderstorms. When there is a loud thunder strike, their tails, fur, and fins stand on end. Usually ends with them in a pile on the couch, wrapped in a big blanket as they wait for the storm to pass. Snake wrapping himself around Wolf and Shark. Webs hiding under the blanket. Shark squeezing Piranha, and Wolf whimpering.

They try their best to keep this fear under wraps otherwise they'll never hear the end of it from Chief Luggins or even worse, Tiffiany Fluffit broadcasting their secret. ^^'

The Golden Snake Tooth | Chapter 12

Prologue | Last chapter | Next chapter

Notice/warnings: heists, knock out, lying, drinking mentioned

Snake and Webs were in awe when they entered the kingdom.

There were so many buildings that most were close together and that there were different sizes of the buildings. There were also small different color flags that all have lantern designs, hanging on rope that went from one building to the other, giving the kingdom more color.

“Wow! This place looks amazing!” Snake said excitedly as the many different places that pass by.

“Well, can’t argue with that.” Lou said to Snake.

Snake continued to look at the different places passing by.

“Alright everyone.” Diane started as she glanced back to look at the group. “Remember the plan?”

Moe, Lou, and Pepe nodded while Snake and Webs looked confused.

“Oh, what’s that?” Snake asked before jumping out of the wagon, his hat flying off of his head and landing in the wagon.

“Snake!” Everyone in the wagon exclaimed in shock when Snake jumped out.

“I’ll go after him.” Wolf said to the others before got out. “We’ll meet you guys by the inn.”

He followed where he guessed that Snake slithered off to. The way that he had guessed was because some of the scared people jumped onto barrels and tables to get off the ground.

Moe Wolf found Snake in front of a sweet shop, which caught him off guard a bit. The wolf walked over to the reptile.

“Sweet… shop?” Snake read, tilting his head to the side a bit.

“Yep, that’s a sweet shop.” Moe said when he was behind him.

Snake jumped and looked up at him. “Hi… I did something wrong… didn’t I?” Snake said nervously to Moe.

“It’s ok, Snake.” Wolf reassured him with a soft smile. “It’s like your second day out and I don’t expect you to get everything down in like a day. Also, I didn’t tell you that you need to stay in the wagon when it’s moving, unless you’re in danger. But it’s ok, you didn’t know.”

Snake hummed and nodded, looking around. “Where’s the others?” he asked, looking back at Moe.

“We’re going to meet them by the inn.” Moe said, pointing in the direction of where it was. “Come on, let’s go to the others.”

Snake nodded and looked back at the shop one more time, flicking his tongue at it. “I just taste sugar in the air.” he said, looking at Moe. “Is that good or bad?”

“Well, it’s a sweet shop.” Moe started, looking at the shop before he started to walk, guiding Snake to the others. “So, you’re going to smell some sweet- wait. What do you mean that you can taste sugar?” Moe looked at Snake to see if he could answer the question.

“Oh, well snakes can taste air.” Snake explained, waving his tail a bit to refrice the air.

“Air?!” Moe asked in surprise, stopped walking and looked at the invisible air.

“Yes, air.” Snake said, stop slithering and flicking his tongue a bit to taste the air again before looking at the wolf again. “Hm, nice.”

Moe couldn’t help but chuckle at that, thinking it was interesting.

Moe Wolf and Snake looked at the different shops by looking from the windows as they went and talked.

“So, what is a heist?” Snake asked, tilting his head a bit.

“Well, it’s like a job. To like to switch something or steal without anyone knowing, except for you and your group, if you had a group.” Moe Wolf explained, waving his hand a bit.

Snake hummed and nodded. Then he smiled as he had a thought. “It sounds like the game Snek.” Snake said with a chuckle. “What’s that?” Moe Wolf asked, looking at Snake.

“It’s a game that Webs and I always play.” Snake explained as they went. “Basically, the way that we play it is that you need to be alone or don’t have any caretakers around, then you get to do what you’ve been told not to. Like for example, looking in a journal about my progress and what could go with my venom or you in the tower. But here’s the catch, you have to make sure that everything is back the way it was or nothing out of place when the caretakers get back.”

Moe hummed and nodded. “Ok. Have you ever gotten caught before? If you don’t mind me asking.”

“No.” Snake said, knowing that it was a lie but he did not want to tell him about last night with the Professor visiting the campsite.

“Alright, I was just wondering.” Moe said, reassuringly with a smile. Snake chuckled softly as he smiled back at him.

When Moe and Snake got near the inn, they saw not a lot of people going about as they got there, looking around to find their friends.

They saw Diane by the inn, standing by a weird wagon made of metal.

“That’s a weird wagon.” Snake said, pointing at the wagon.

Then the next thing that Snake knew was that Moe Wolf quickly went to Diane. Snake followed after him when Diane looked at them.

“There you both are!” she hissed at them.

“Were you guys going to do the heist without us?!” Wolf hissed back.

“We were about to. The others are inside the inn, distracting the guards.” Diane hissed again to Moe Wolf, handing a small crate with a bag inside it to Snake. “Pick the lock and do the swap. I’ll keep watch.”

Moe sighed as he got two metal things out from his pocket and started to pick the lock while Diane kept watch.

The snake looked confused while he held the crate. He flickered his tongue, tasting iron from rocks in the bag.

“Got it.” Moe whispered as he opened the door a bit and entered the wagon.

Snake looked in and gasped when seeing that there were a lot of bags. “That’s a lot of bags.” he breathed, looking at the many different bags as he put the crate in the wagon.

“Yeah, but we just need one.” Moe said quietly as he picked one.

The wolf went to Snake, holding the bag. He knelt down, taking the bag from the crate and putting the bag he was holding in the crate before getting up to go back to the big pile of bags.

Snake took a peak in the bag and saw coins in there. “Wow.” he breathed before picking up the crate and moving when Moe came out of the wagon. Wolf shut the door completely while Snake gave the crate to Diane.

The fox and wolf looked both ways before calmly crossed the street and went down the other sidewalk. Snake watched them before he started to slither after them but was grabbed and pulled back. Snake turned around to see who grabbed him.

It was a guard and his breath smelled weird.

“Um… Hi?” Snake said confusedly to the guard.

“Hello there.” the guard said, looking down at Snake while still holding him tightly.

Snake tried to get out of the guard’s grip. “Could you let me go?” Snake asked, still trying to get out of the guard’s grip.

“Oh, I will.” the guard started, his voice in a dark tone. “After you tell me why you were here.”

Snake looked at the guard as he tried to think up something. Then he noticed a familiar orange tarantula walking over. “I was waiting for a friend.” Snake said, looking back at the guard. “Oh? Well, what’s your friend’s name?” the guard asked with a dark chuckle.

“Her name is Stefanie.” Snake said, then he smiled when seeing his friend on the guard’s left shoulder. “And she is next to you.”

The guard turned his head and was face to face with Webs. “Hi.” the tarantula said, a big smile on her face.

The guard’s face went white and eyes widened when looking at Webs before screaming at the top of his lungs as he let go of Snake and ended up bumping into the weird metal wagon when trying to run, forgetting that the wagon was on his right.

Webs jumped to Snake before the man fell to the ground, knocked out. Snake and Webs looked at the knocked out guard for a while until they noticed the captain walking over.

“Oh, hi!” the both of them exclaimed, waving to her.

The captain looked at them and then at the knocked out guard. “What happened?” she asked, pointing at the guard as she looked at the two.

Snake and Webs looked at the guard before looking at the captain again. “We got lost while we were exploring a bit.” Snake said, looking at Captain. “We were looking for our group. My friend was inside the inn while I was outside, just in case we saw our friends walking by or going inside.” Then Snake pointed at the metal wagon. “Apparently, I was too close to this thing, so the guard went to me to see what I was doing and I told him that I was looking for my friends.”

Captain nodded in understanding. “I see, but what happened to Todd?”

Snake and Webs looked at each other before looking at the Captain. “Look, when I got out of the inn, the guard was holding him, like he did something wrong. I wanted to see what he was doing with him and see if we needed to talk. So, I got on his shoulder to be at eye level. He screamed and knocked himself out when he saw me.” Webs answered, looking back at the Captain.

Then both Snake and Webs smiled at the Captain, who looked convinced.

“Very well.” the Captain said, nodding. “You two can go, I’ll take care of him.”

“Alright.” Snake said, nodding to her before he slithered off while Webs clung onto him.

They looked for the others as they went down the street, scaring some people by accident. “Where are they?” Snake and Webs asked out loud as they looked.

Their answer was answered when Kit stopped in front of them. “Kit!” both of them exclaimed while Kit neighed happily when seeing them.

Then Snake looked around to see if the others were around. “Where’s the others-?” he started but stopped when he heard Moe yell out, “Kit! You don’t do that!”

Snake and Web looked to see Moe running over to them with the others.

“Oh, Snake! Webs!” the four exclaimed when they got to them. “Hi!” Snake and Webs said together, smiling and waving at them.

Snake and Webs told the others their adventure of getting away by lying when they were seated in the wagon and was moving.

“Wow! Thats impressvie.” Lou said, smiling at them.

Snake chuckled and nodded. “Yeah. To be honest, I liked it.” he said, smiling and rubbing the back of his neck.

“Same here.” Webs said, smiling too.

“So, you actually like it?” Diane asked, glancing at them as she drove. “The heist?”

Snake nodded and explained, “Yeah, it reminds me of the daily game that Webs and I do. We call it ‘Snek’.”

“Snek?” Diane, Lou, and Pepe asked, to see if they heard him right.

“Yep!” Snake said, nodding happily.

Lou and Pepe looked at Moe to see if he knew about this. “He told me what it was after I explained what a heist was.” the wolf chuckled.

Lou hummed softly.

“Oh, Snake.” Pepe started, getting something. “Before I forget, I want to give you your hat. You left your hat here.”

Snake looked at Pepe as he got his hat.

The hat had a flower crown of many different flowers over it.

Snake looked at his hat with the flower crown. “Why is there a flower crown on it? I was just wondering.” Snake asked, pointing at the hat.

“Oh, a friend of ours that was watching the wagon had flowers and I wanted to practice making a flower crown.” Pepe said, smiling embarrassed. “If you want, I can take it off of it.”

Snake looked at the flower crown on his hat before smiling softly and said, “I like it. Mind helping me?”

Pepe gasped excitedly as he jumped up from his seat and went to Snake, putting the hat on his head.

“Thank you, Pepe.” Snake said, chuckling softly and looked at the others when the hat was on his head. “So, how do I look?”

Diane glanced back as she drove and smiled. “You look great, Snake.” she said before looking back as she drove.

“Agreed, you look great.” Lou and Pepe said, both nodding. Pepe went back to his seat while Lou got a chipped hand mirror out, showing the reflection to the reptile.

Snake just tilted his head a bit to try to see what they mean as he looked at his reflection. “I just look like a snake with flowers.” he said, looking at them.

Webs sighed sadly before looking at Moe and asking, “Why’s he blushing?”

Everyone looked at Moe when Diane stopped the wagon to see what Webs was saying.

Moe was blushing a light pink red before he hid his face with his tail.

"Aw, look!" Diane said, teasing a bit. "Mr. Wolf is Mr. Red."

Everyone, except Snake who was also blushing, started to chuckle while Moe pointed at Diane and said, "Shush!"

All relationships on this blog are completely platonic for comfort and to keep in line with the PG rating. So any asks regarding ships or romantic themes will be ignored.

6. This side blog is currently experimental as I never done it before. If I feel like it's getting out of hand and I am no longer comfortable with it. I will delete it without warning. I hope that you understand in the case this blog does vanish one day.))

(Premise: This takes place about a month after the Bad Guys movie. The gang is chilling with their new apartment provided by Diane. Now the gang are working on living their new lives and trying to give themselves new positive and friendly images for themselves. Webs suggested a ask blog with Wolf and Diane agreeing to it. For giggles however, Diane and Webs made Snake in charge of the asks under his Unisnake persona, much to the poor grump's embarrassment. ^^')
