I spent the rest of the day making distractions. Cleaning the pantry, washing my clothes, organizing the shoe rack, mopping the floors, buying things I don’t need off of Amazon, watching mindless movies… going thru the junk mail even. And now I sit here after staying up so late, and your memory still caught me. Still found me in my one moment of relaxation. Still made me realize how much lighter and brighter to me the world felt, how much easier it was to laugh when you were rotating on the same earth with me and not flying amongst the stars.

One of the elders being named saturn, and the fact that it's confirmed that one of the ancient weapons is a living person along with their planet names, I wonder if the ancient "weapons" were all living people/beings and if the three either defected or was a part of the same group as the elders way back?

Uranus and Neptune's transformation through the years!

(in picture set: 2014-2023)

Original concepts from 2014 vs now:

Uranus

Before: Actual airhead, eccentric, chaotic, little to no regard for Neptune's boundaries. Regardless, he still loved his brother dearly, and his moons. Had a much higher voice too, always smiling. Now: Still eccentric, still always smiling, but nobody can seem to read his true intentions. May look sweet and friendly but is actually a little intimidating. Far more intelligent, doesn't seem to be easily emotionally swayed.

Neptune

Before: Cold, stern, no-nonsense and scary. Quite dominant. Not evil, but not soft either. Very serious. Pragmatic, but has a soft spot for his brother. Now: Textbook INFP. Introverted soft boy, emotional and sensitive, always wants the best for everyone. May look a little intimidating but he's actually really sweet. He's powerful in his own right, but doesn't want to use it for what he deems is immoral.

i don't think there will be/should be an outer wilds 2 bc literally what else would that even be with everything going on in the main game. however if the devs just made another solar system to explore with new cool planet ideas to walk around on in the physics engine that would be so epic

No one asked but I’m here to deliver anyways!

ALL starsign planets would be classified as terrestrial planets while Kovomaka would be the sole Jovian planet.

Starting with Kovomaka, due to it’s presence outside the asteroid belt and its large distance from the Baklava solar system’s sun, it’s classified as a Jovian planet. The sun must be ultra hot for Kovomaka to resemble the Earth so well, however, it’s shown to have stronger storms due to the spiraling clouds pictured on it in-game.

Now onto the terrestrial planets!

Razen is most likely to have the largest concentration of greenhouse gases in its atmosphere due to it’s extremely high surface temperatures. It’s also shown to have the highest internal heat due to its frequent volcanic activity, despite its small size.

Gren and Puffoon are shown to be the most Earth-like planets. Gren because of it’s abundance of vegetation and Puffoon due to it’s relative distance from the sun (3rd closest planet).

Cassia likely has the strongest magnetic field, alongside an abundance of atmospheric pressure, due to the sheer amount of liquid water present on the planet.

Erd likely has the weakest magnetic field due to its extremely dry surface and lack of liquid water.
