Plot: You and Lou search through a corn maze for evidence, successfully getting lost. What makes the situation worse, is the sky is getting darker, and you swear you're not alone.

Pairing: Lou Ransone & Partner/Best Friend!Reader

Request: 'Getting lost in a corn maze' + "Are you scared?" "No" "Then why are you holding onto me?" & "If you get scared you can hold my hand." "How about I hit you instead?"

Standing with your hands on your hips, you let out a soft sigh and shook your head. "How the hell are we supposed to find anything in there?"

You looked out at the tall corn maze ahead of you. The whole area had been shut down due to a body being found, the third in a week, all supposedly from the same suspect.

Lou stood beside you with a similar stance, "We're stuck. We need something on this guy."

"And you think we're gonna find it in there?" You side-eyed him and he shrugged.

"We got nothing else." As he stepped towards the entrance to the maze he waved his hand, "Come on."

You let out a sigh as you followed him into the maze, immediately focusing as you looked carefully down every path and into the corn, hoping you'd find anything. A weapon, blood, evidence. Something that could point you to the guy behind these murders.

As the two of you slowly made your way though the maze, you collected a few fibers, fully aware they were probably from various civilians who had come through the maze in previous days. You were grasping at straws, desperate to end this case.

Looking up, you noted the darkening sky, checking your phone you sighed. "Why didn't we come earlier in the day? We wont be able to see anything soon."

"Good question."He chuckled.

Hearing a shuffling sound nearby your head shot towards the sound. You stared in between the corn stalks, seeing nothing.

"God this place is creepy." You muttered and you heard Lou chuckle.

"You sure we're the only ones here?" You asked after a few minutes, still hearing noises throughout the corn maze.

"The whole site's closed off." He replied casually as he turned on his flashlight, the sky having become dark enough it was growing harder to see.

Your heart was beating heavily as adrenaline was rushing through you. Something was telling you there was something else in the corn maze. But you tried to convince yourself it was just your overactive imagination.

"Shouldn't we be out by now?" You asked, growing antsy.

You had been wandering through the maze for over an hour, having given up on searching for evidence when it grew too dark.

"We're close." He said simply, but you could since reservation in his tone.

You paused, staring at the back of his head, seeing him trying to peer over the corn stalks. He was tall enough to see over them, but the dark surrounding you made it hard to locate the exit.

"Are we lost?" You asked after hearing him let out a soft sigh.

"No."

"Are you sure."

He stopped as he turned to look back at you. "...No"

You groaned as you leaned back your head.

Walking down a coupe more paths, Lou spotted a hay bale. Standing up on it he peered around.

"There's a scarecrow nearby, we must be in the middle." Shining his light around he nodded his head, "The exit is that way, I can see the farm."

"At least your height is useful for something." You mumbled and he grinned as he climbed back down.

As you stalked your way trough the maze, you continued to hear various noises within the corn stalks. And you couldn't help the feeling as though you were being watched.

Without realizing you had gotten close to Lou, your hand was now holding onto his jacket as your eyes darted around in paranoia.

Lou glanced down at you and grinned. He cleared his throat softly.

"Are you scared??"

You glanced over at him before replied, your voice much less confident than you intended. "No."

"Then why are you holding onto me?" There was amusement obvious in his tone.

You looked over at him before realizing you were in fact holding onto him.

You quickly let go before rolling your eyes, wanting to avoid the teasing. "Shut up."

He chuckled as he leaned down a bit and obvious teasing grin on his face you could see even in the darkness.

"If you get scared you can hold my hand."

"How about I hit you instead?" You replied quickly, making him laugh.

As you began down another path, you both heard a thudding noise around the corner, causing you both to stop in your tracks. You saw Lou's hand rest on the hilt of his gun as precaution as you both slowly turned the corner.

You weren't sure if you were relieved or not to find the only thing being the tall looming scarecrow.

You made an audible noise in discomfort as you bot approached it. "Why does it have to be so creepy?"

"To scare the kids." He mumbled and you snorted a bit.

"It would definitely work on me."

As Lou climbed up on another hay bale to find the way out, you stared wearily at he Scarecrow. You weren't sure what had made the thudding noise before, but it had to the scarecrow somehow. Maybe the pole it was on was not sturdy. Grabbing it and shaking it softly, you realized it was firmly in place.

You hummed under your breath in uncertainty as Lou walked back over to you. "I figured out the path to get out, come on."

After another ten minutes and a few bickering comments you finally made it out of the maze.

You let out a groan of relief. "I'm never forgiving you for that by the way." You peered over at him and he chuckled.

"Understandable. This was definitely not one of my best ideas."

Looking back at the corn maze, you could make out the scarecrow in the moonlight and you felt your body stiffen.

"Wasn't...the scarecrow facing the other way?"

Lou looked back at the scarecrow and thought for a few moments. "Yeah, it was facing the entrance."

"How did it move? I checked the pole it's on after we heard that noise that thing was firmly in place."

You and Lou shared a look of uncertainty before peering back at the scarecrow. A mutual shiver ran up both your spines before you shook your head.

"If you want to find anymore evidence in that maze, you better send someone else."

Lou nodded his head, "Let's go."

You followed his lead, more than ready to leave the creepy farm and the scarecrow behind. Sparing another look back at the scarecrow, you felt your blood run cold.

You weren't sure if it was now your eyes and brain playing tricks on you, but you swore you saw it look at you.

detective matchmaker [ lou ransone ]

⋯ SUMMARY ; athena devised a plan to get the two of you together in one room, with the hope of one thing coming out of it

⋯ WARNINGS ; female!reader, matchmaker athena + general fluff [ softness + planning of first dates ]

“i hope you don’t mind, but i called in someone else to help out with the case.” athena uttered, looking over at lou with an easy smile as he eyed her suspiciously. he opened his mouth, getting ready to question her on this person she had asked to come in, when a knock sounded from the door, “so glad you could make it.” athena smiles brightly, ushering you into the room.

both you and lou make eye contact, cheeks heating as you stumble over your words, greeting him softly once more, “it’s good to be able to work with you again.” you utter, holding your had out to shake his own, “the pleasure is really all mine. i’m glad athena appreciates your talent and skill for these kind of things.”

the compliment doesn’t go unnoticed, and you beam brightly before turning your attention to the case at hand. offering in your expertise whenever it’s deemed necessary and when a pattern slowly begins to develop over the course of the filing.

lou would sneak a glance towards your concentrated face every so often, coming to admire your diligence and eye for detail with each little thing you point out -- often earning a quick uttering of praise on his part as he beings to connect the dots.

he had admired you for some time, and you in turn had as well. however, seeing as the two of you rarely interacted with each other outside that of join department cases, it limited the chance of the two of you crossing paths to actually pursue any feelings towards the other.

now, athena had a bit of an ulterior motive when it came to getting the two of you to partner up. seeing as when the two of you are apart, the only thing you could talk about was each other. so, to save herself some added misery, she figured leaving the two of you alone in her office would finally create the outcome she had been hoping for -- at least one of you asking the other out.

“i’ll be right back, gonna go check on something.” athena smiles, stepping out of the office and down towards the front of the station building to get some coffee. smiling knowing to herself as she had just left the two of you to your own devices.

you continued to look over the files, scanning them for any little bit of information you could use to establish a motive or direction of evidence, when lou cleared his throat, pulling your gaze up toward his own, “how have you been? it’s been some time since the las time we worked together.” he uttered out, hoping to make some small talk until athena returned.

“i’ve been good. busy with the amount of cases that have been coming through homicide but we've been managing for the most part. what about you? have you been recovering alright?” you question, referring to the light pink line across the middle of his neck -- something that had nearly scared you when athena had called you in.

he only offered you a smile before nodding, “i’m doing fine. getting better each day.” you uttered a soft ‘good’ in response, before dropping your gaze back down to the file in front of you.

lou then hesitated a moment, before speaking once more, “i hope this isn’t too forward, but would you like to get dinner with me, tonight?” he questioned softly, fully prepared to have you turn down his offer when you smile brightly and nod, “i’d love to.”

the both of you turn back towards your paperwork, looking up when athena enters the office once more a few minutes later, three cups of coffee in hand before settling into the chair across from the two of you, “anything new while i was gone?” she questions, looking between you two before you delve right into some of the things you found, before excusing yourself to go find a file that may help you figure something out.

the second the door closes, athena’s turning toward her friend with a knowing smile, “did you ask her?” she asks, cheering when lou nods. telling her about your dinner plans for the evening and the two of them smiling as they go over some of the details from the case.

I was just re-watching 5x07 Ghost Stories and like, can we talk about the potential of Taylor Kelly/Lou Ransone because... 👀👀👀

I know a lot of people don't like Taylor but she gives me such Lois Lane/Karen Page vibes and I can't help but adore her. She was TERRIBLE for Buck tbh but her and Ransone would be so perfect for each other. They'd bicker all the time but like... in a sexy way.

911 thoughts

Well, I finished all the seasons of the 911. I needed only 1.5 weeks for it cause I couldn’t stop watching! But I should day that it was the third time I tried to start this show but only now I realised how incredible it is.

How I have already said Bobby and Athena are my everything. I love them so much. True parents, true family. I really enjoyed watching their relationships development during this show, how Bobby was becoming the part of this family, how he found connection with the kids, how both Athena and Bobby was fighting their own demons. My two babies, can’t imagine this show without them.

And can’t believe Angela Bassett is 63! Just whaaat?! This lady is the queen of the whole show, I’m serious! Hope she won’t leave the project.

I’m in love the the first 4 seasons but I need to say that the fifth season was idk strange?

Yeah Bobby and Athena are still the best but others..

Chimney/Maddie storyline was so unnatural written. I know that Jennifer Love Hewitt needed maternity leave but the writers could do it better, I’m sure

The same thing with Eddie. I understand that they wanted do show the character’s development, however, I can’t see him in such a way. Maybe because his psychological problems were very suddenly brought to the fore, idk..

I do miss Michael so much :(

Really happy that May is going to the college! She needs it so so much! Yeah she’s a talented operator but she wants more and we saw it. So, good luck girl, you can do it!

Buck/Taylor. I know that a lot of people here hate her but in my opinion, she’s in interesting character. There’s no black and white in this show and I’m happy about it. The same thing with Taylor. I believe she loved Buck and he felt the same but they are different and they both have their own ideals and today they put their jobs on the first place. It’s absolutely okay so please let them be good friends who helped each other during the darkest period of their lives.

I NEED a spin off with Taylor and Detective Lou Ransone. I’m in love with Sasha Roiz since the Grimm and he’s character deserves more in this show. Absolutely loved his interaction with Taylor during the crime investigation so give me mooore! What can be better than one smart detective and one ambitious journalist in the same project? Btw, I saw a wonderful chemistry between them! So please!!!

I know Arielle Kebbel since the vampire diaries and I was surprised to see her in the show but still don’t know what I fee about her character right now. We don’t know her well yet, so show me more and I’ll tell you

One thing I loved during all the seasons is a feeling of the family when we’re talking about the 118 lafd. They’re so close, they support each other so badly, they all have difficult past and every character is fighting his own demons but they all are still together. Always and forever. I do need such people in my life..

oh my gosh where do i even start?

tall! so tall! like why is he so tall? i’m pretty sure he’s the tallest person on the show at 6’5”. he’s a tree, he’s a mountain. i’m putting on my harness and getting ready to climb

TIDDIES. what more to say? i’d love to motorboat him. or caress! i can be gentle 😌

he’s only been in 6 episodes but he may be my favorite guest actor and i’d love to see more of him. (i know he’s not a first responder but i’d make an exception for him. he’s my guy!!)

the sass. how can you talk about my beloved lou without mentioning his eddie diaz-level sassy quips? i need him and eddie to meet. i just know they wouldn’t like each other at first (lou is immediately Not Impressed and eddie would never admit it, but he is the tiniest bit intimidated (and kinda turned on) by his intelligence wrt his job. and the way his shoulder holster accentuates his pecks. and his arms. and his shoulders! detectives are sexy ok?!) but then taylor would show up on the scene and they both—immediately and in complete unison—scoff and roll their eyes. then they look at each other with a smirk and just nod because they’ve found a comrade in their disdain for this woman. (oh my god am i about to write this fic? buck gets jealous because eddie found a new friend in Detective Beefcake?! 😜)

Pre-Relationship Friendship:

Neither you or Lou really remember when or how you became friends.

You just remember always getting along since you met, and somewhere along the way you became best-friends.

No one could compete with the other, you didn't really question it, you just became each others "better-half."

You know everything about each other.

What perfumes/colognes the other wears, their favorite snacks, foods, drinks.

You have said food/drinks always stocked at your houses for each other.

You have traditions for holidays, and birthdays.

Whether it be eating out at the same spot every year, or getting each other specific gifts that only mean something to you.

So many inside jokes it drives everyone else crazy.

You are partners at work, and you make a great team.

You always eat lunch and dinner together.

And often spend long nights working on cases together.

You take turns bringing each other coffee/tea and pastries in the mornings.

Sometimes you forget whose day it is so both of you end up bringing stuff, so you end up with four drinks and way too many pastries. Lucky for others in the office.

A lot of the time, people assume you are already dating.

At first you thought it was just funny, but slowly as each of you started to develop feelings for each other, the thought would make you blush.

You accepted that it was just you and that nothing would happen between you, but surprise! He felt the same.

During Relationship:

When the two of you finally started dating, literally no one was surprised lol.

There was a betting pool going around the precinct about how long it would take.

Athena won.

Nothing really changed with your friendship, except the fact that you got more comfortable with touch, as it had a bit more meaning to it now.

When walking together, he will link his pinkie finger around yours, or take your hand in his completely.

He absentmindedly reaches or you if you stray too far away.

So you often feel his hand gently against your back or shoulder, and you naturally step closer to him.

Your offices at work are littered with pieces of each other.

He has a geode on his desk you got him for his birthday. He uses it as a paperweight.

You have an hourglass he got you for Christmas, that may or may not have been a friendly dig at you always getting distracted with work and overworking.

You also have a bunch of pens you have slowly stolen from his office. He knows they're there, but he wants to wait to see how many you accumulate before giving them back.

Most of the time, you are in each others offices, you might as well just share one at this point.

If someone goes into your office, you'll be in your chair, Lou will be sitting on the edge of your desk.

Go into Lou's office, you will either be sitting on his desk, or lounging on the couch in his office (that he added because you insisted).

Even though most people know you are in a relationship, you keep it "professional" at work. (Apart from the teasing, jokes, and occasional prank)

Valentines Day Morning

Plot: A pleasant Valentines morning with Y/n and Lou.

Morning light shined through the kitchen window, as bird song could be heard from the trees just outside.

Humming softly to yourself, you were lost in thought as you cut the strawberries into heart shapes to place along the crepes you were making.

You smiled to yourself, amused, you decided when making a Valentines themed breakfast, that you were allowed to be cheesy, at least for today.

On the table nearby, was a bouquet of your favorite flowers and chocolates you had found in the kitchen when you got up. You figured Lou had snuck down and placed them there after you had gone to bed, so you would find them first thing this morning.

Though you were making breakfast, you had already eaten a few of the chocolates, unable to resist.

Too lost in thought, you didn't hear Lou walk into the kitchen behind you.

Lou leaned in the doorway for a few moments as he buttoned up his shirt. He watched you with an adoring smile on his face as you hummed a familiar tune.

He could tell you hadn't been aware he came into the kitchen, as you always say hello when you noticed his presence. After another moment, he walked up to you, taking soft quiet steps as to not alarm you of his presence.

As you sliced another strawberry, you felt as though someone had approached you from behind. Just as you began to turn, you felt hands gently grip your wait and turn you around swiftly.

You let out a soft gasp, that was then muffled as his lips met yours. You stifled a surprised laugh until after Lou pulled away. He grinned down at you, amused that he managed to sneak up on you. You grinned playfully at him, but smiled.

"Good morning." He greeted.

"Morning." You said with a forced, yet amused tone.

Looking over your shoulder, Lou smirked as he saw the red and brown crepes, with a strawberry cream cheese filling, heart shaped strawberries and chocolate drizzle.

"Very festive." He said with light sarcasm and a smile.

You smiled as you reached up and placed your arms on either side of his neck, as his hands rested on your hips.

"Thank you, I was feeling cheesy this morning."

He chuckled softly before he slowly leaned down. Leaning up, you met him in a kiss.

"Thank you for the flowers and chocolates." You said with a smile as you motioned your head towards the gifts on the table.

"You're welcome."

Wrapping your arms around his neck, and stepping up onto your toes, you hugged him close, as he wrapped his own arms around you. You took in a deep breath, and the familiar scent of your favorite cologne engulfed your nose. Your whole body seemed to tingle, yet relax in his arms as you felt warmth wash over you.

Stepping away from him, he gently caressed the side of your face before planting a kiss to your forehead.

Turning to finish the crepes, Lou began grabbing plates and forks, a familiar routine you did each morning as you switched turns cooking for each other.

Popping a strawberry into your mouth you smiled to yourself as you realized just how happy you were.

Mistletoe Distraction

12 Days of Christmas: Day 3

Plot: While in the office late at night, Lou uses a familiar tradition to distract Y/n from the stress of work.

A/n: Though it is about mistletoe, Christmas is not mentioned in this oneshot

Warnings: A kiss obviously lol, and a slightly suggestive conversation, but that's it.

Sitting on the edge of Lou's desk, you read through the report one more time. You had been stuck on this case for the whole day, making no new headway and it was getting to you. Catching no new information you could use, you closed it.

Setting it down on his desk, you sighed and stood up, stretching "There's nothing in these reports we don't already know."

Lou closed the file in his own hands as he nodded "Yeah, I know. Maybe we should take a break for the night."

Walking into the doorway and looking out into the office, you noted that most of the lights were off as everyone else had already gone home.

Looking at the clock, you saw it was close to midnight. You had known many cops and detectives to stay well past working on their own cases.

Turning around, you leaned against the doorway and looked in on Lou "Why does it feel like we're the only one's that care about this case?"

Lou smiled and shook his head "We're not, we just happen to be the only two obsessed enough with it to stay after work until-" He checked his watch and peered back at you "Midnight."

"I've seen cops stay longer for their own cases." You mumbled before you leaned it against the doorway. "And I'm not even tired."

Lou watched you for a moment, before his eyes slowly rose, catching on the decoration hanging above you. He felt a small jolt in his chest as he remembered seeing one of the deputies hang it on his door as a joke earlier in the day. He was on the phone so he had forgotten about it.

Looking past you and out into the office, his eyes scanned the empty precinct before he looked back at you, seeing you were clearly lost in thought as you stared into space.

He watched you for another moment before a small smile crossed his face. It would be a shame not to take advantage of this moment. Especially since the two of you were now alone and technically off the clock.

The two of you had given into your shared feelings a few weeks prior. Your professional relationship stayed the same, never showing any signs of a relationship during work.

Lou would be lying if he said he didn't hate how long he had to wait everyday to focus on the non "professional" part of your relationship. And he was fairly certain some people knew about it, but never said anything.

Rising from his desk, Lou casually made his way towards you before leaning on the opposite side of the doorway from you. His eyes scanned the precinct one more time, and he was confident there was no one else around. Even the janitors had gone home already.

His hands sat in his pockets as he watched you for a moment, wondering how long it would take you to leave your own thoughts.

It was only a few moments before you noticed his closer presence. You looked up and met his eyes, seeing a soft smile on his face, you felt your heart jolt lightly.

You couldn't stop the small smile that spread across your own face "What are you smiling at?"

Lou tilted his head slightly as he spoke, his face showing his amusement "For someone who tends to notice every small detail, you sometimes miss big ones."

Confusion showed clearly on your face as you processed his words. Was he talking about the case? Did you miss something obvious? If that was so, why would he be smiling?

"What do you mean?" You voiced with confusion as you turned towards him fully, arms crossed.

Lou smiled as he motioned his head upwards.

As your eyes shot up, you immediately noticed the obvious. A green plant tied with red ribbon, hanging from Lou's doorway. You felt heat rise up your neck as you repressed a smile. How had you not noticed it? How long had it been there?

Looking back into his eyes, you spoke with a mix of mild amusement and bewilderment "Mistletoe?"

"Hastings put it up earlier, as a joke."

"Funny joke." You said with a note of sarcasm. You knew Hastings had a not so secret thing for Lou.

He shrugged as he pushed himself away from the doorway, and stepped closer to you, staring down into your eyes.

"It has it's usefulness."

You tried to repress the grin tempting it's way onto your face as you narrowed your eyes and tilted your chin up "Oh yeah? Like what?"

Stepping a bit closer, he leaned his arm on the door frame above your head, as his face hung just above yours "Like, providing a distraction from the work we're focusing too hard on."

Your lips twitched into a small smile as you saw his eyes flick to your lips briefly.

"And what kind of distraction were you hoping for exa-"

Your sentence was cut short as Lou leaned down, and pressed a kiss to your lips. Without hesitation, you deepened the kiss. As he leaned closer to you, his hand cupped your face, your hand gently reached forward and grabbed onto the collar of his shirt.

Lou's hand moved to the back of your head as he deepened the kiss. A few moments later you broke apart, breathless. You stared into each others eyes for a moment before you smiled.

"My favorite kind of distraction then?"

Lou smiled as he pressed his forehead against yours "I think I saw some more mistletoe in the elevator. You still determined to work the case, or do you want to get out of here?"

You smiled up at him "There's nothing else we can do tonight anyways."

"Exactly." He said softly before pulling away, moving to go grab his jacket.

Looking up at the mistletoe you smiled, before you felt Lou's hand slip into yours as he pulled you along with him and towards the elevators.

Headcanons: Love, Intimacy and Kissing (Lou Ransone)

Headcanons: 'Love: Ways they say or show they love you.' + 'Intimacy: How they show intimacy; physical and not.' & 'Kissing: Do they like kissing? How do they kiss, when, etc.'

Pairing: Lou Ransone x Gn!Reader

Warnings: Somewhat detailed kissing, but nothing further.

Love:

Pre-Relationship:

Before Lou ever confessed how he felt about you, he would show his feelings in a variety of ways. Whether you knew what these things truly meant or not.

Bringing you tea/coffee in the mornings or during long shifts.

If he buys a pastry or snack he always gets you one too.

Driving you home when you don't have your car, to make sure you get home safely. He always walks you to your door, or waits in the car until you get inside.

Watching your favorite shows and movies, listening to your favorite music, or reading your favorite book so he can talk to you about them and bond over them.

Making sure he is always stocked up on your favorite snacks, teas/coffees, and drinks for the days you may come over to his house when you are working on a difficult case.

Staying close to you in a crowded space, keeping his hand gently wrapped around your arm, or on your back as you move through crowds.

Relationship:

He continued to do most of the things listed above once you were finally in a relationship. But, he found other ways as well.

Keeping spare toothbrushes, soaps, conditioners, etc, that he knows you like so you can use them when you stay over at his place.

Making you breakfast or dinner, often surprising you with them.

Gently holding your head, before pressing a kiss to your lips, cheek or forehead.

Lou is not afraid of saying the phrase 'I love you', but other phrases he uses that hold the same feeling are: 'I'll be here if you need me', 'Don't be long', 'I already miss you'

Gently brushing his fingers over your arms, legs, thighs, and stomach, as you lay together at night.

Running you a bath after a long day, or if you get hurt.

Taking care of you when you are sick or injured. You never have to ask him to do this, he is already prepared and willing.

Intimacy (Physical and Non)

Physically, Lou does not shy away from intimacy.

If you could always be in his arms, he could be content.

He loves to kiss you (but we'll get to that).

He likes holding you to his chest to comfort with you or him.

Lou does not partake in PDA for the most part. But an arm stretched across your shoulders or around your waist is a given.

And he will hold hands, and give you the occasional quick kiss on the cheek and sometimes lips. But most of his physical intimacy is reserved for behind doors.

Emotional intimacy is important to Lou. He knows communication ad openness is important to a relationship.

He will always keep you informed about how he is feelings, and he is always open and ready to hear you.

Lou is not afraid to cry in front of you, knowing that he can be his most vulnerable.

He never judges or represses your own feelings, and is always there to help you embrace or heal from them.

Part of your bond is formed through work.

You work together and see the same things, you go through trauma and good days together, and this brings you closer than ever.

To quote one of my favorite Jane Austen novels: “There could have never been two hearts so open, no tastes so similar, no feelings so in unison, no countenances so beloved."

Kissing:

Yes Lou does enjoy kissing, but as previously mentioned, not often in a public setting.

He loves slow kisses, he wants to make it last. Often until you are both breathless.

He often kisses you while both of his hands are cupping your face as your head is tilted back.

This often leads to him trailing kisses down your cheek and neck, and then to your shoulder.

Lou is so fond of kissing other parts of your body as well.

Kisses on the back of your hand, wrist, your cheek, temple, behind your ear, your neck, etc.

Kisses to your stomach and thighs if they are exposed when you are lying in bed.

Lou adores when you initiate kisses.

You are probably shorter than him. So if you grab him by his collar and pull him down into a kiss, it is hard for him to repress a grin.

He finds it adorable if you step up onto something to be his height or taller to kiss him.

This can lead to him grabbing you and setting you on the counter, as he stands between your legs to continue kissing you.

If you are a giggler when it comes to kissing (super ticklish), he will take advantage of this, I can guarantee it.

Lazy kisses in bed as you drift to sleep. Or soft kisses in the morning to wake you up.

Since you are co-workers who are also in a relationship, he has to resist the urge to kiss you at work.

Sometimes he can't help it, and will get you alone in a hallway or his office with the blinds shut and kiss you.

Always saying he can't resist. Or not being able to kiss you could be classified as a form of torture.
