New-ish Simblr!

Hey, peeps! So, I haven't been active for a couple years now and my gameplay has changed since losing my last cc folder to a(nother) broken laptop.

I've gone from alpha cc, to maxis match, then Bratz, and now anime. Currently playing a "Lore Olympus" save. The sim above is from that save. She's a nymph I named Priscilla.

My need for newness and novelty made me start anew with this Simblr. So far, I'll be posting my "Lore Olympus" save and my MHA save when I get that running! Excited for that!

I made posters of some webtoons! I particularly love MGNB but I thought some of these would work very well in the teen and YA bedrooms I've been making. Changing the pushpin colors is how I've been practicing working with UV maps, too.

My next challenge is to redesign these with Simlish logos instead buuuut it may take me a minute.

All credit to the original artists. I just moved their amazing art onto posters. If anyone feels this is overstepping I'm happy to take them down, but I wanted to celebrate some things I love.

Last song: Loser Baby. I haven't even watched much of Hazbin but damn those songs are earworms.

Favorite color: Purple too!!! 💜though it's tied with aquamarine, like that specific color of "clear ocean water"? That color just gives me a lot of happy memories with it.

Currently reading/watching: I'm reading Lore Olympus for when I want quick reading of a graphic novel, and A Court of Silver Flames to talk about with beanie. Watching Hazbin but very slowly as a ✨treat on busy days.

Spicy/Savory/Sweet: sweet. sweet supremacy, spicy in second place (i miss flaming hot chips), savory in third.

Relationship status: a single bean daydreaming about a fallen angel. uwu

Current obsession: I mean, Obey Me definitely. With a side of some greek mythology and a dash of sims 4.

The triplets had a birthday party that went ALL WRONG!!

First, I thought I could buy cakes from the RVSN cake box for them, but I couldn't put candles on them. I didn't have enough time to make three cakes, so I had to age them up without the cakes.Then, while aging them up, their nanny dies! I still don't know what from. She's not old and I had food out, but she died somehow.

But, Ariel got to hang with her brother and cousin.

I have a deep love for Persephone story, and for your way of telling a story I squealed loudly when I saw the new story ! It took me a little too long to find out where the name Dez came from, but you are amazing as always

Duke | Dominic (Dom) | Desmond (Dez)

The (fraternity) brothers and our big three! They went into business together to create Olympus Inc and haven't parted since.

Some silly name process stuff below:

I was really vibing with the idea of a casual slice of life type story for the Greek gods. And since I made it modern, I wanted them to have more modern names and just be inspired by the characters they were before.

I have so much silly lore for a story that uses no dialogue!!!

Dez's name obviously came from Hades. But I figured Dez was a cooler spelling of it. And then I wanted the trio to all start with D.

Duke came from the fact that it's a royal status name. Felt right.

For Dominic, I wanted a nautical or water themed name but didn't like any of my D options (that's what she said) so I am not sure how I arrived at his name, but there it is.

Anyway honestly Persie came from me using that nickname for one of Kit's sims. And yes @simmancy I know, I have about as much creativity in names as Holly Black/SJM does. We can't all be gifted in naming things!!!

So yeah, naming all the characters to more modern names with nods to their original gods has been very fun. That's the TLDR.

Lore Olympus is like those anime dating sims with fairy tale characters that had unique divercity in the source material but the sim made them look like basic bland anime guys and girls

yeah... yeah I can see that... tho I gotta say.. lore Olympus would fit those like over the top joke dating sims really well-

Semana 1: Recuperando o Senso de Segurança

22 A 30 DE JUNHO DE 2023

Foi uma semana estranha… Começando novas rotinas, pegando mais tarefas domésticas, lidando com minha filhota doentinha + nova rotina de alimentação e medicamentos dela (everything’s okay, she’s fine now), além de ser fim de mês.

Foi difícil conseguir focar em mim, em realizar o que propus a mim mesma e que não prejudicaria ninguém além de mim, por isso também acabei estendendo a semana até domingo para me permitir descansar entre tudo que tava rolando.

Chamei as minhas páginas matinais de páginas livres, acho que nem fiz nenhuma delas pela manhã, mas entendo como escrever logo ao iniciar o dia pode amplificar seus benefícios.

No exercício Vidas Imaginárias, escolhi ser atriz essa semana. Não tive como planejar nada fora de casa, então optei por gravar um monólogo de algum filme que eu curtisse. Mal sabia eu que monólogos eram tão difíceis… Gravei algumas vezes, nenhuma ficou perfeita, mas a última tomada foi satisfatória.

Transformei minhas objeções maldosas em afirmações criativas & hoje as colei em minha parede.

Não fiz nenhuma das Viagens no Tempo, difícil lembrar de coisas & tava me sentindo empacada de tanto tentar...

Tive sim! Assistimos ao belíssimo filme “Loving Vincent”, o primeiro longa-metragem totalmente pintado. Rolou aqui em casa mesmo. Dei uns tragos num beck, pedi duas horas ininterruptas com a sala toda para mim, me acomodei e afundei na história visualmente deslumbrante. “Cada um dos 65.000 quadros do filme é uma pintura a óleo sobre tela, usando a mesma técnica de Van Gogh, tudo feito por uma equipe de 115 pintores.” Foi como assistir a uma exposição de museu com transições de cena lindíssimas, uma experiência incrível! Queria assistir a esse filme desde seu lançamento, mas sabia que queria realmente apreciá-lo e nunca me dava esse tempo, fiquei muito feliz de começar essa jornada com esse encontro tão esperado comigo mesma.

Antes mesmo de retomar o programa, minha prima me contatou oferecendo um job de design (minha formação), que me gerou um debate interno sobre precisar de renda vs. largar design de vez & focar em arte. Sinto que tenho de me mover para mudar o foco de minha carreira & deixar as pessoas saberem, para que quando as oportunidades surgirem, elas possam vir até mim;

Viciei em Campfire Cat Cafe, um jogo de celular fofíssimo com vários personagens desenháveis;

Comecei a ler Lore Olympus Volume 2;

Maratonei a segunda temporada de Clone High (2023);

Decidi desenhar por 15 minutos antes de dormir, me distraí & passou quase uma hora inteira! Desenhei cabecinhas antropomorfizadas baseadas numa ilustra antiguíssima da imzeferino, apreciei o processo & fiquei extremamente feliz com o resultado;

Chegaram marcadores PenTouch prata & dourado;

Montei uma coleção para checklist & registro de projetos de vídeo, inspirada na JashiiCorrin;

Assisti à linha do tempo completa de BoJack (Horseman, é claro), coberta por Johnny2Cellos.

The cabin popping out of the Earth fully formed🤣🤣I like how Persephone had to add her touch to the cabin with the vines. Like she's not letting Hades get all the Grandparent points, MC's her Grandchild too!

The Cerberus plushie!!😍🐶🐕💯💕You had me at Cerberus plushie.

Hades while decorating the interior of the cabin (After blinging out the exterior) How much gold and gemstones is too much gold and gemstones? Makes the bedframes out of gold and puts rubies in the walls. Yes, this is a perfectly normal amount. I've totally got this Grandad thing down pat.

I like how your writing Dionysus's as the one who's going can we all just chill and remember that they are Children not 'Heroes'. Plus they are 12! They cannot drive a jeep. I'm not letting you, let them do that! NO! I'm putting my foot down (Mentally slaps his forehead when MC goes nope, no companions) Please for my sanity take companions, please, I'll beg if I have to.

Hades doesn't know how to be subtle does he ... How to make my grandchild feel better about being ostracised at dinner ... More gold! It's touching how he's not afraid of letting everyone know MC's his 'Child' though.

Luke and Annabeth still wanting to be friends with MC 😭😭MC's got friends. That was just a really touching moment. Then them just inviting themselves on MC's quest, like come on MC of course we're going with you. (You thought you could get rid of us that easily,don't make us laugh)

Yeah man, Hades really said—“How do I show everyone that this is my favorite child and that I love them?” In my head Hades is a little awkward with affection — like the canon in lore olympus— he was made to be the god of wealth before he bagel the king of the underworld so he ends up showing his affection in diamonds and jewels because that’s what his power is.

In full transparency the vines aren’t from Persephone lol

Omg Dionysus (or Dennis as he likes to be called ;) has such a big part in the story I hope you guys like it)

And yeah I think that part is my favorite part! Where Y/N is like “don’t cry.” And her friends show up beside her.
