I went into this trying to cause chaos but now I'm genuinely saying this because they kinda need to be called out.

Crimson, the big demon, the player, is kind of bleugh.

I would say pathetic but in truth the term they need should be more complex and left to interpretation.

Crimson, you clearly have issues and you have a horrible way of dealing with them. That is clear beyond belief. (It's even stated by lili herself.)

You should probably realize that you're never going to get what you want out of things. You clearly want some emotional attachment however the way you determined a "fool proof way" to get it will only lead you to disappointment. Though, personally, I don't care. You did this to yourself and you wrapped all of us into it because you're both selfish and blind. That's not my problem.

I can only be so calm and uncaring about your behavior, though I guess I still don't care lmao.

I don't care what happens anymore, I don't care about if we die(though idk about the others' opinions lol). We've been doomed to a cycle. We'll break eventually. The moment we weren't allowed to die was the moment that proved there is no turning point, there is nothing for us anymore.

#p #vvardenfell wandering #look sometimes a headhunter finds you and in your underpowered despair all you can do is cast waterwalking and employ guerilla warfare #i refuse to minmax and i pay for it dsfjfdsjfsd #no but the trip to dagon fel was a dud i just went there to locate a pirate but then realized i need 2k to pay a guy??#or find a way to get to the ruin myself #but the quest is recommended for level 15 or more and my lv 1 ass wasn't going to do that #nammu is currently running redoran quests + doing the pilgrimage of the seven graces which to this day i think is one of the best first #*faction quests i've seen in all of tes. need more quests that encourage you to travel and learn about the culture of the place #like you visit the shrines. you learn about a lil piece of history #mostly here's a lil episode of vivec's whacky adventures #and you're invited to give an offering that relates to what happened there #like i'm not about the tribunal at all (i love their lore and think they're rly well crafter characters) but i think their quests are neat

i am wildly out of practice and did hang on by the skin of my teeth the last time i was taking a formal class in japanese

but the class was called "advanced academic japanese"

(not to mention i kinda started picking up the language when i was ten years old and have been acknowledged as having internalized the Vibe of it)

so those are my credentials if anyone is curious.

but also always always ALWAYS check for yourself, there's so many people around being way too confident about making Statements about japanese, or being plain weird about it!

#by being acknowledged i mean for example #that when i studied in japan #i was placed in lv 5 classes instead of the lv 2~3 that i expected #because the placement test mostly had to do with picking out the correct sentences #at my best i could have reasonably tackled n2 #... one day i'll be able to get back to it #like every other thing i love

Seeing a modern AU fanart of Minthara (x) makes me think of one for her and Kalius (or more like next life reincarnation cuz I like more pain, AU doesn't carry over the mistakes and angst, reincarnations do). Minthara is an assassin/spy for hire who wrecks her getaway motorbike. But she always brings it to Kalius's shop to have this tall buff lady fix it. First time they meet Minthara will be all bloody and injured, but can't go to the hospital:

- Ma'am this is a car shop, we don't do bikes, also shop's closed for the night.

- It's not that different and besides I know you own a bike, that one in the corner is definitely yours *passes tf out*

#Minthara was already an assassin in the game before her capture at Moonrise sooo #one time Minthara 'borrows' Kalius's bike and that's how their adventure begins #turns out Kalius is a retired assassin (sniper) but Minthara doesn't know that #but temporarily comes out of retirement because she's tired of Minthy stealing her bike #so why not help this annoying assassin with her job #'lately there's someone who keeps stealing my kills but leave me the credits this is insulting'#Kalius upon hearing that *bumps her head on the car frame*#Because Minthara's canon INT lv is 8 #girly never questions why Kalius is always at the right place right time and has what she needs on hand #Kalius will always have a heart attack hearing how Minthara 'maintains' the poor bike #Minthara is def more of the dagger assassin type #old fashion but more personal #obligatory fight in an empty garage but Minthy doesn't recognize who cuz girly as blind as a bat 😏#Minthara x Kalius #minthara brainrot

How are leviathans born?

they are mostly regular sea creatures that mutated with the toxic waste dumped at the ocean depths. but since they are creatures of magic and the world is filled with magical essense instead of dying from radiation they are simply twisted and their genetic code is altered.

on some rare occasions where magic makes up for what the two lack in biological compatibility (soul bonds and such) they can still reproduce and make more of their kind but due to their long live span they don't even look for mates or procreation much.

either way most leviathans are just mutated magical beasts that have been living for hundreds of years in the ocean.

in crimson's case, they were one of the rare cases of being born as leviathan instead of evolving to it. they were an abandoned offspring of an ancient sea monster (a cross between a starfish and and eel leviathan)

they took the appearance of the eel and retrained the regenerative ability of a starfish.

(crimson can technically regrow themselves from a severed limb as small as a finger to a wholnew body but since they have ONE soul, it only inhabits one regenerated part. they can't duplicate themselves.)

leviathans often take care of their offsprings with GREAT care because in most cases due to genetic mutations and incompatibility the offspring will die. the larger the offspring, the bigger their survival chance! so when crimson was born AS A TINY SUPER SMALL EGG... they were already a disappointment to their parents. there was just so little hope for them. they abandoned the egg.

crimson's unhatched egg was devoured by an unsuspecting fish, and they simply assumed it was just another loss. they had lost so many that it was practically the norm. they went on to focus on the bigger siblings.

after that? the creature that ate crimson swam to someplace VERRRRY far away. (crimson's siblings are probably still out there somewhere but crimson couldn't care less)

after a while the fish started to feel an intense stomach pain. crimson was slowly eating or out from the inside, literally covered in stomach acid, constantly dying, then coming back, dying and regenerating... hardening it's scales... growing bigger and bigger. dying again and again SINCE their conception.

it was HELL. the pain was so great that their nerves were damaged and never fully recovered.

but they broke out... only to find themselves in the stomach of a bigger fish..

repeating cycle of maddening pain until they overcame each and every single trial... climbing the food chain with tooth and nail. they were eaten, torn to shreds, bitten in half... gutted, hunted and killed so many times... but they never died.

it's not that they didn't want to. they COULDN'T die. their body simply would just rebuild itself. even if they did NOTHING they'd still feel the pain they'd still know they would come back.

they didn't exactly have a great childhood... they did eventually began to climb the food chain ranks and start HUNTING the things that had previously eaten them.

"revenge tastes SO SWEET. more. I wanna kill more! "

eventually they grew big enough to be as big as a regular sized mer... they started to kill every single thing in their path, high on power and vengeance. was it because of the pain they felt as they were little? or was it the addictive HIGH of conquering foes? they started at the bottom but they were on top now.

the world had hurt them and now they felt like hurting the world back 100 times. so much spite so much bloodlust.

if course they'd inevitably kill everyone in the sunken city ruins...

and slowly fall deeper and deeper into megalomania and a greed for more power.

something that slowly lost it's meaning to them when every living thing in the area had died...

empty. so empty. so lonely.

they wished they hadn't done that. one. just one survivor.

they promised themselves they wouldn't kill it. it didn't matter. they wanted someone ANYONE to talk to them. it didn't matter if it was a vengeful enemy.
