'Forty years on from the year in which it is set, and released on the date of Winston Smith’s first diary entry, George Orwell’s seminal dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (not 1984, despite how this most recent retelling has chosen to style the title) has received perhaps its highest-profile adaptation since Michael Radford’s film. Andrew Garfield plays the reluctantly rebellious Winston, and man-of-the-moment Andrew Scott is a smoothly vicious O’Brien. Cynthia Erivo makes for a suitably feisty Julia, and Tom Hardy reprises his Bane boom as Big Brother, although his contributions are wisely kept to a minimum. The talented supporting cast includes What We Do In The Shadows’s Natasia Demetriou and Black Mirror’s Alex Lawther, and the score is co-composed by Muse’s Matt Bellamy. Lavish cinema and television ads have brought the show to worldwide attention, and yet it’s likely to receive a fraction of the interest that, say, Ripley will obtain. Why? Because it’s an audio drama.
Granted, Audible’s new production of Nineteen Eighty-Four, which is billed as a disturbing, adult-focused and immersive experience, is a million miles away from a distinguished actor reading an audiobook version of Orwell’s novel. At times, it goes further than you might expect in terms of the sex and violence quotient; there is a love scene between Garfield and Erivo that, somehow, manages to be wildly explicit without showing anything visual (one can only imagine what it was like for the actors to record that particular scene), and there are nasty scenes of torture and violence that are none less chilling for being conveyed through a mixture of dialogue and sound effects. (Yes, Room 101 gets its full measure.) Muse fans, meanwhile, will be thrilled by Bellamy’s score, co-composed by Ilan Eshkeri and performed by a sixty-piece orchestra, that blends somber strings and piano with percussive electronic beats.
Director Destiny Ekaragha and screenwriter Joe White should be commended for a faithful and smoothly gripping adaptation that adds in a few successful set-pieces, such as Winston having an attack of paranoia on the train that his minor acts of rebellion are about to result in his immediate arrest. If it’s listened to on headphones in a public place, as it no doubt is supposed to be, Nineteen Eighty-Four becomes a deliciously chilling immersion in literary paranoia; you’re standing around your fellow citizens wondering which of them you’re going to fall in love with, which of them will betray you — and whether that will be the same person.
Clearly, Audible intends this to be a marker in a series of blockbuster literary adaptations that will change the face (or, rather, ear) of the genre. There was a Sam Mendes-overseen David Copperfield last year, with Helena Bonham Carter as Betsey Trotwood and Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa as Copperfield, but it barely shifted the dial in terms of audience awareness. Ninety Eighty-Four feels different, and not just because of its A-list participants, rock star composer and dread-laden subject matter.
In a year where the word “Orwellian” is likely to be used more than usual in the course of the British and American elections alike, and where any tech blogger will write lazy articles talking about the way in which Big Brother, Newspeak and the rest have become part of our daily social media culture, it’s good to be reminded of the power of the original, translated into this new form.
Yet I remain unconvinced that this will be the crossover blockbuster success that Audible so clearly believe it will. Enjoy it for what it is — a few hours of sumptuously conceived and acted Orwelliana — and let’s leave the question of whether this will eventually come to replace visual entertainment out of the equation. Until, that is, Christopher Nolan is recruited to write and direct an immersive audio adaptation. Then we’re talking.'

Full names: Eve Gideon & Noah Abel Gideon
Family: Abel Gideon (father), mother (deceased)
Exclusive: @omniishambles' Abel Gideon
Date of birth: June 15th
Age: 16
Height: 5′7″ (1m73)
Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Blue
Scars: Noah has a large scar on his left eye
Gender: Eve: female, Noah: male
Sexuality: Eve: bisexual, greyromantic, Noah: asexual, biromantic
Faceclaim: Jessica Barden & Alex Lawther
TW: alcoholism, murder, violence, death (alcoholism HC by @omniishambles)
Eve and Noah had a bleak but uninteresting childhood, like many other kids do. Parents stuck in a loveless marriage, an alcoholic mother and a distant father. It was alright, because they had each other, and they spent most of their time together. Eve was a bit weird, and Noah was too shy. They struggled to make friends, and it wasn't always fun to make sure their mom didn't pass out in the living room. But if you asked them, it was better than what the rest of their lives had in store for them.
When they were 13, celebrating thanksgiving at their grandmother's house, everything turned to shit.
They were outside when it happened, sitting in the garden. Eve was on her phone, and Noah was next to her, reading some book for school. They heard the screams first, they heard their mother screaming before they even saw what was happening. Through the living room's window, a massacre.
The rest is a blur, but Noah remembers Eve being horrifyingly silent, tugging on his shirt while they watched in horror, so they'd run away, so they'd leave this all behind and hide. He also remembers fighting his father in the driveway, or, at least, protecting Eve from his father's fury. Eve remembers seeing the knife fall into her brother's face, and she remembers finally screaming, and pushing her father away from him, and running with Noah, running like they had never ran before.
The doctors said Noah was lucky he didn't lose his eye. Lucky.
And then, of course, there was the police, and the trial, and the foster homes, because there was no more family for them. Their dad had made sure of that.
They're 16 now. Eve is sarcastic, cynical and bitter. Noah is quiet, anxious and troubled. They never stay in a foster home for too long. Twins are a hassle, but they tried separating them, and it never works. They always run away when they're separated.
(Disclaimer: I’m aware that the characters played by the FCs I picked are dating in “the end of the fucking world” but disregard it here.)

OH i forgot to say that i saw hamlet at park ave armory and i did not in fact like the production :(
i thought as an ensemble they massively lacked energy, the production design felt hollow and like a standard surveillance tape contemporary setting that's been done to death, it lacked any gothic sensibility, claudius said every single line the exact same way, and of course they played into the stupid oedipal complex reading that adds basically nothing to the character. alex lawther was good and age-accurate which i appreciated, but for some reason they had all his soliloquies delivered down center in the same fucking spot and didn't let him move his body at all which felt incredibly stifling for a character that is so positively filled with emotion and energy and tragically is incapable of directing it anywhere. i felt him wanting to go further and being restrained by the direction. the only things i really loved were the parts with him and king hamlet, and the way they did fortinbras and the ending sequence with horatio, because the st ann's version (despite being my favorite) fucked that section up. otherwise though i felt it was average at some parts and quite disappointing at others, which was especially upsetting since i was seeing it with friends who didn't know anything about the play

REVIEW
TOMORROW X TOGETHER is moving on to their next chapter
2021.06.16
By its very nature, the idea of organization by chapters is an intuitive concept. In TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s case, they began with The Dream Chapter and then moved on to The Chaos Chapter. While the word “chaos” doesn’t inherently suggest reality, growth or the end of boyhood, when it’s used as the title of a chapter following one called Dream, the two necessarily stand in contrast. It represents a transition from the world of a “hot summer / While we could not see each other / I grew up taller / My voice got lower” (“20cm”) to where “I can see the entire ending / It will be difficult, worse than a hangover” (“Anti-Romantic”). Here, the idea of a “hangover” actually creates a sticky situation. It feels like you could substitute it with the word “inebriation” instead—a juvenile phase when they’re no longer quite boys, but not yet adults. The world surrounding me and even I myself are no longer the same as we were in the past, and we can never go back. To demonstrate the point, we can look at the T-shirt referencing the British dark comedy The End of the F***ing World in the concept trailer for TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s new album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, and its lead single, “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You),” featuring Seori, as more than simply a fashion choice. James (Alex Lawther) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden), the protagonists of the UK series, take an unexpected trip where they experience life-changing events and discover how they really feel. James is only 18 when the pair’s escape comes to an end and they return to the real world, but he hasn’t really grown up. Needless to say, he can never be a young boy again, either. In “LOVESONG”,the ideas in the chorus of “lovesick” and “loser” are virtually tautological, and drives home the point the song wants to convey. There was an era when the youth of its period defined themselves through music. As such, that “LOVESONG” reflects 1990s alternative and the emo sound of the 2000s isn’t so much a conscious choice as a matter of course. You may be wondering: What does the alternative/emo genre matter in 2021? That’s a valid question when asked about a traditional band. In the world today, artists like the former rapper Machine Gun Kelly and TikToker LILHUDDY symbolize the link between youth and the various types of rock. Visuals in the “LOVESONG” music video, like the speakers set up in the background of the earlier scenes and the grunge rock clothing in the second half of the video, are an extension of this trend. TOMORROW X TOGETHER are expressing something about that time between boyhood and adulthood—a visual demonstration of the way teenagers used to embody their emotions before the idea of individual genres emerged and each one began to symbolize something. While the opening track and lead single of The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE introduce the concept and narrative, the tracks from “Magic” onward continue on from where the group’s previous albums left off. This duality can also be seen in the album’s visuals. Just as the concept trailer and the “0X1=LOVESONG” music video stem from one place, the concept photo and the “LOVESONG” performance stem from another, resulting in an album that is largely stateless yet one that gives shape to a vivid image of boyhood. The force which causes the two different stems and, therefore, the two different periods of growth to intertwine is a highly finished product. For example, the lyrics to “Frost,” a confession of inner chaos, are effectively backed by a melody that’s made unfamiliar thanks to the members’ unusually ominous voices as they oscillate between rock and hip hop. All that inner turmoil leads up to the boy’s earth-shattering scream in “LOVESONG,” uniting the album’s emotional strands. That’s why it’s important to present a collection of good songs. The industry isn’t as proficient as you might think at concentrating on one point the way FREEZE does. To take things one step further, the rock music component of “LOVESONG” is reminiscent of the more contemporary approach that bands take to discard convention, with the leading examples being Radiohead and Coldplay. “LOVESONG” conjures up arena rock as a starting point not just because the grammar of K-pop presupposes a simple pop/rock combination or performance. The conventional wisdom is that TOMORROW X TOGETHER got their start in a manner entirely counter to the way rock bands do and yet they still arrived at the same place. With their sophisticated narratives and logically drawn musical conclusions, TOMORROW X TOGETHER knows what they’re talking about and who their message is meant for. In other words, Henry Rollins, former singer for the American hardcore punk band Black Flag, will understand when TOMORROW X TOGETHER wears a T-shirt in their music video of the band he once led.

Winning Season - Tom Holland
Tom || Main || Taglist
Requested? Nah 851 words Bff!Tom
* * * *
“Hey, best friend!” Tom said to you with a smile as soon as he saw you walking in. He met you halfway and engulfed you in a big hug which you gladly returned. He pulled away and said, “How are you? It’s been, like, forever!”
“I know, right?!” You laughed. “I’m more than alright, though. How are you? How’s life?”
“I’m great! I actually feel better now that you’re here because it’s been a long time since we’ve worked on a movie together.” He pouted before looking at you with a teasing smile. “How was the honeymoon?”
“I won’t go into detail-”
“We both know that you will and I’m used to it.” He laughed as you both walked to his trailer.
“Fine.” You shook your head with a smile.
A few weeks ago, you just got married to the love of your life: Alex Lawther. Of course, Tom was invited and he was so happy for you! He even cried that day. You thought he cried more than you and Alex did combined which made both of you laugh.
Prior to your wedding, you kept winning awards here and there and Tom claimed that it was your winning season. He was very supportive and he really is your best friend and platonic soulmate. He was your Joey to your Phoebe. Without him, you wouldn’t know what to do. He even helped Alex propose to you because he loved both of you so much.
After three years of not working together, you finally get to work with Tom again. You were excited and Tom made everything feel easy because you were comfortable around him.
When you arrived at Tom’s trailer, he immediately offered you champagne and you politely declined, hoping he’d get the hint. But he didn’t. He gave you bottled water instead and you happily took it.
“Where’s Alex?” Tom asked. “I haven’t seen him in a while too and Haz and I want to hang out with him.”
“He has a lot of photoshoots and he’s shooting a movie at the moment.” You told him with a proud look on your face. “We’ve been looking for houses as well.”
“Do you need help? I know this neighborhood that has a lot of vacant houses. The plus is that you’ll live near me!” Tom said excitedly and that made you laugh.
“You should come with us next time, then.” You smiled at him. You talked for a few minutes before going back on set. You quickly made your way to your trailer to get dressed in your costume before walking out again. You didn’t need to put makeup because the director told you not to. The movie you’re shooting is called: “Love of the Evening”.
Your character, Eileen Ford, is a normal girl from a small town who recently moved to the city for a job opportunity. You meet Maxwell Archer Reid, Tom’s character, who’s a troubled bachelor and a rich man’s only son. Maxwell and Eileen meet one night and Maxwell decides to please his father by bringing Eileen as his date at a gala.
The director wanted to direct the gala scene first, so you and Tom were dressed your best as you went into your places.
INT. REID MANSION - NIGHT Max and Eileen enter the mansion. Max puts a hand around Eileen’s waist. Eileen leans closer to Max. A waiter passes by with a tray of drinks.
WAITER May I interest you in some beverages, Mr. Reid?
MAX (glances at Eileen) Babe, do you want champagne?
EILEEN Champagne, please.
MAX (looks at the waiter) You heard her.
WAITER (hands Eileen a glass of champagne)
EILEEN Thank you. (smiles)
That should have been an easy scene for you, but you pretended to hesitate and the director called, “Cut! Y/N, what’s wrong?” The director was in on the plan.
“Is this real champagne?” You asked as Tom looked at you with concern.
“Yes, dear.” The director nodded. “What’s the matter?”
“Can I have a different drink? I can’t drink champagne.” You said, biting your lip. Tom looked at the floor as he thought of reasons why you couldn’t drink champagne, but his eyes widened as he looked at you and gasped.
“I THINK I KNOW WHY. OH MY GOD.” Tom said in shock.
“Are you thinking what I think you’re thinking?” You asked quietly.
“I think so. What’re you thinking?” Tom whispered. “I’ll count to three and we’ll say it together.”
“Okay.”
“1...2...3! You’re pregnant!”
“I’m pregnant!”
Tom covered his mouth with his hands before hugging you. You hugged back and laughed. He pulled away and saw your assistant filming both of you.
“Everyone knew but me?!” Tom shrieked.
“Surprise!” You giggled. “Alex thought this would be a great way to tell you.”
“I’m very surprised!” Tom grinned. “Congratulations, love. I’m so happy for you! I told you it’s your winning season.”
“Thank you.” You teared up with a smile on your face. Tom hugged you once more before letting you go and re-doing the scene. This time, you asked for iced tea and not champagne.

Two important pieces of information from the credits
Tumblr media
Braxas is the son of Warden Wrath, that was not a random demon who looked like Wrath
Tumblr media
ah, the loving grip of a father
also EMPEROR BELOS IS NOT PHILLIP WITTEBANE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT VOICE ACTORS
Wittebane is voiced by Alex Lawther, while Belos is voiced by Matthew Rhys. could of course be by design not to spoil, but that definitely is less plausible now.

That’s A Pretty Color
a.n.: Fred Weasley x y/n, just fluff in this one folks<3 How is everyone doing? I hope everything is well, and if it is not, don’t let anything stop you from sharing if you need to! I wrote this one up because it’s a scenario that I will NEVER experince in my life because all real life men are trash exept for Alex Lawther and of course, the rest of my thirty-plus celebrity boyfriend. Lord, I’ve come full circle from 2015. Enjoy, my beauties!
Reader paints their nails but it takes a long time to dry. Luckily, a certain crush is able to help them with some tasks reader cannot do on their own. No specific gender or house is specified:) 2k words!
For the first time in what felt like forever, everybody in your year had no homework for the weekend, and students had free reign over their plans.
It was Saturday, and you and your friends went to Hogsmeade, where you had found the perfect nail polish. It was in your favorite color and it had a perfect wand for application. Not too dark, not too light. It was perfect and you couldn’t wait to put it on.
That activity would have to wait, though, because all your friends had convinced you to wash up way too early for your liking, as you liked to bathe a bit later at night, and attend a planned party by a friend of another friend, of yet another friend who was in your house.
Your house often had parties. Really often. And today was one of them. However, it was a strange one. Everybody showed up in their loungewear after coming back from the bathrooms, and there was no alcohol. It was just students in sleep shorts and slippers talking among themselves.
You actively participated along with your friend Luna Lovegood, who had just decided to turn in for the night.
“[y/n], I just am so tired. It’s one in the morning, can’t I see you at a more normal time?” She had a soft voice that deemed even softer when she was tired.
“Of course, Luna. Wait for me at the entrance tomorrow, okay?” You said, taking your legs off her lap as she got off the couch, only to curl them up to your stomach as you waved goodbye to your friend.
You looked around to see who was left at the gathering and one by one people began to either go up the stairs or to just leave.
Now bored, you took the polish that was next to you on the table you had placed it on. You decided to paint your nails.
One by one, you dragged the brush along your nail beds to spread the gorgeous color you had found by surprise, deep in the back of the beauty store you and your friends frequently visited.
You had just finished your first coat when you felt the couch shift a bit. Fred Weasley.
“Hey, George.” You wanted to mess with him.
“Not Geo-” He was interrupted by you.
“I know, Fred. I’m just messing with you.” His reaction softened when you said that. He shook his head and smiled, looking down and then back up at you, running his hand through his short red hair.
You knew the difference between the two brothers. You only knew it because you’d always had a thing for Fred. It made you mad when people mixed the two up, even though they would never know that.
“I don’t know how you do it every time [y/n]. It’s a skill very few possess, even my own family can’t tell the difference like you do sometimes.” He made you blush similarly to the color of his hair, hoping he would never, ever, be able to feel the heat rising to your cheeks. You shrugged and continued onto your second coat of color.
You’d talk with Fred from time to time. Whether it be at a party like this one, or just in class, he was always engaged and interesting- and bloody good to look at, too.
You didn’t know if it was the way his eyes would shine when you told a joke, or when he’d walk you to class just to put a hand on your lower back and waist to say goodbye, but you could say you had a small, teeny, tiny, crush on the boy who was sitting beside you.
“That’s a pretty color.” He leaned over to look closer and smiled as he pulled his head back.
“Thanks, Freddie. I bought it today at Hogsmeade.”
“Yeah, I know.” You were so confused by that statement.
“What?” You looked up and you saw him slightly scratch the nape of his neck. He brought his hand back down and pointed at the bottle on the table beside you.
“Well, I saw you today, Y’know, at Hogsmeade.” Now he was turning red. This was something new coming from Fred, you’ve never seen him flustered. You were just so- confused.
“Why didn’t you come over and say something?” You laughed at the boy in front of you. It was more of a nervous laugh rather than a ‘you’re-so-lame-for-not-saying-anything’ laugh.
“Well I’m here now, aren’t I?” He grinned over at you and you shot him a grin back, kicking the leg that was now facing him. He ducked and caught it instead, putting it in his lap just like Luna did.
A short amount of silence bestowed among you two and you dropped your other leg so both of them were draped across his lap. He placed his hands on your upper knee and asked you if this was alright.
“Is this okay, love?” He asked you and slightly shifted his thumb across your knee, not daring to go up unless you had told him so.
You grinned at the replacement of your name.
“It sure is, but just so you know, I’m almost done with these nails.” You raised your hand and waved and wiggled your fingers at him to show off the new color. They made your skin tone pop beautifully.
“Leaving so soon even when I am here? That’s just a mistake, [y/n].”
“No, Freddie. The mistake was when you came to talk to me so late!” You smirked at your comment as you looked up from your focus. He was full-on cheesing at you at this point, and you felt as if your day was made with that smile.
You were not one to put a crush ahead of agenda, but Fred was just so bloody cute and sweet. You couldn’t help but gush at him. And plus, your legs were currently laying over his lap, slightly bent at the knee, what could you do? Not think about him?
Finishing up your left hand, you screwed the bottle shut and put it on the table behind you. You lifted up both hands to view your work and Fred did the same, his eyes following your hands. You flipped them over so they were now facing palm down on the couch.
He removed his hands from their placement on your knees and he took your hands in his, viewing the art meticulously.
You were now geeking out. Again, you couldn’t help it. It just happened.
The common room was now only full of maybe five people or so, that included you and Fred on the couch, a kid passed out on the loveseat across from you, and a couple on the stairs just chatting.
“I should get going, Fred. Maybe I’ll see you at breakfast tomorrow?” Unfortunately, you removed your hands and legs away from him and he helped you by lifting your legs up.
“Yeah, for sure.” He was visibly disappointed that your conversation was cut short and his eyesight moved down to the gorgeous chain you had displayed on your neck. It was a thin, gold chain that hung right below your neck but right above your collar bones. It was one of your favorites from Holiday a few years back and you had forgotten to take it off after your hangout at Hogsmeade. “That looks really nice on you. I hadn’t noticed it until now.”
Why was he telling you all this. You shifted your hand to touch it and you thanked him for being sweet.
You reached back to unclasp it, but it was unsuccessful. Your manicure was not dry yet, so if you played with the clasp, it would most likely lead to a smudge on your perfect craft.
“I totally forgot to take it off and now I can’t.” You huffed and dramatized the puffing of air, a deep sign escaping you which in the end both made you laugh.
“Here, let me help, [y/n].” He motioned with his hand but you refused.
“It’s okay, Fred, really.” But he insisted.
You were not in the mood for an argument, so you complied. You shifted on your seat so your back was towards him, and he scooted a bir closer to you.
He moved a bit of your hair out of the way and his fingers grazed the back of your neck. Only then did you realize how close he was to you. He took the delicate necklace in his fingers and easily unclasped the claw, bringing it down your chest into your hands. His arms were on either side of your head as he brought it down.
You turned around and you thanked him.
“Thank you, Freddie, now my art won’t get ruined!” You were still very close to him, and it made you jumpy in a way that was new for you.
“I only like it when you call me Freddie.” He blurted out.
You were so confused as to why this boy was being so flirty towards you. You smiled at him and began to stand up.
“Goodnight, Freddie.” He stood up with you and in a burst of spontaneity, you raised yourself on your toes a bit to kiss him on the cheek, holding it for just a second before you came back down to look at him.
He held his hand by his cheek and looked at you in awe, and you finally realized what you had done.
The boy was obviously going insane in his brain right now and granted, maybe this wasn’t the best decision.
You decided to just absolutely make a run for it, and you turned around to head to your dorm room, not a chance in hell you were to look back. You went around the couple that was now making out on the stairs and you made your way up before you felt a hand surround your forearm.
Fred was smart to reach there, as he had remembered that you had just painted your nails.
“Why’d you just leave like that, [y/n]?” He was confused and you were too. He was now at the same step as you and he just looked at you with fire playing in his eyes that gave you butterflies as you looked into them.
“I don’t really know, Fred. I’m sorry.” You began to go up but you were cut off by his lips attaching to yours. You sank into the kiss, indulging in the smell and new-found memory implanted in your brain for life. You tore apart and you just looked into those eyes, again. Fred scanned your face for any sign of displacement and he shifted his hand to your waist again, the same feeling you got when he walked you down the hall.
“I’ve been wanting to do that for a really long time, [y/n].” He murmured towards you. Your faces were close together and it didn’t take much to hear it. You leaned in again and kissed him softly, cursing at the fact that you ran your hands through his hair. You looked down to check if your manicure was ruined, and luckily, it was still in tact.
He chuckled at your panic towards the art and you looked up confused. Realizing, you began to laugh along, bringing the hand you checked up to his cheek to hold it. He sank into it and you smiled at the boy in front of you, still not believing that had just happened to you.
“Goodnight, [y/n]. Thank you for, well, that.” He was unusually sweet, and not as snarky as usual. Not that you missed the snarkiness Fred owned, you were just excited to see this new side of him.
He let go of you and put one leg down just as you leaned down and grabbed his shoulder.
You were being impulsive, but you truly did not want him to leave. Plus, you knew he had no bad intentions.
“Don’t go. At least not yet.” He turned around and you looked up the stairs and down the hall to your dorm. It was one of the closer ones. “Why don’t you maybe, I dunno, stay?” You were risking it all. “I mean, you’re already here, and you’re wearing that, and-” You were rambling so you cut yourself off.
“If you’ll have me,” Fred said with enthusiasm. “Can’t get enough of me in one night, can you? Sleepover it is, I suppose.” You were so happy that your plan worked so you quickly grabbed his hand, nonchalant about your maybe-dry nails, and you ran up the rest of the short stairs up to your room, where you only saw two out of the five of your roommates in your dorm. One of them even had someone laying next to the other, a result of the party, you supposed.
You placed the necklace on your nightstand in a tray that was it’s usual resting place.
Fred shut the door behind you and you led him to your bed. Just as you were pulling back your sheets, he leaned behind you and placed his body to yours, arms snaking around your waist and his head leaning just a bit down, enough to kiss your temple, moving down to your neck, where he bit slightly but not enough to mark up.
You brought your hands up and you touched him, leaning to your left to look at him behind you.
“I’m really tired, Freddie.” You said. Your voice was now a lot more tiresome than before.
You knew Fred was strong, but this was the last thing you were expecting.
In a matter of seconds, Fred had picked you up bridal style and he laid you on the bed softly, letting your head hit the pillow and your legs to hit a part of the bed that was yet to be pulled back. He slid his hands out from under your knees and back to pull some of the duvets back to cover you up.
“We don’t want to get that manicure ruined, now do we?” You smiled at him and reached for his hand, pulling him.
“You’ll stay?” You looked at him from under and he was unsure about what you had said.
“Are you sure?” He asked you mid-stride to the other side of your bed, longing for your hand once more.
“Yes, now come on, I’m seriously going to pass out.” The window in your room was closed off with curtains, but you could still see the boy’s face in the dark.
“Your wish is my command.” He said kissing the back of your hand and sliding next to you. You let him get positioned comfortably before squishing up next to him so your head was on his chest, where you would dream for the rest of the night about the morning.

NSFW Alphabet-Peter Pettigrew (Marauder Era)
Okay, but like, late Marauder Era. Just before leaving Hogwarts Marauder Era, so that’s like only just 18. Also, I’ve never really thought about any Maruader era fancast things before, but I think Alex Lawther does fit how I imagine him pretty well. Not perfect, but close.
((ALSO also, I am working on everything but writer’s block is a bitch. However, with a few more weeks before I have to be back working, we have time.))
18+ F!Reader
Tumblr media
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
He’s very affectionate at the best of times, but after sex it comes out in droves. He’ll nuzzle against your neck and kiss you so much that it tickles, until you push him away and then he’ll make sure that you’re okay and that you enjoyed it.
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Peter loves your face. It sounds quite shallow, but he did first fall for how beautiful you are and each day he spends around you just adds to his adoration of you.
He doesn’t see that there is much he can like about himself. He doesn’t see himself at the level of attractiveness of the other boys and he knows he wouldn’t stand out in a crowd at all. However, with your attentions lavished on him, he’d start to warm to his pudgy cheeks
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Regardless of the mess, he likes to cum on your chest. It just seems dirty and the mere thought of it can ruin his thought process
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self-explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
While usually he tries to make sure the two of you are quiet when you sneak into his dorm at night, if the others have been teasing him a bit too much about your relationship then he will let a few louder noises slip and will try to draw some from you as well. He always says it’s an accident.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
You’re his first. He’s not had much luck in getting attention from anyone, not like the other marauders, so he’s not at all experienced
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)
He likes when you ride him, taking control over everything. It leaves him the ability to just look at you and touch you, which usually overwhelms him
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)
His nerves do make him quite goofy, apologising over silly little things with a smile and blushing at every opportunity. It’s quite cute really.
H = Hair (How well-groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
He doesn’t care how groomed he is down there, as long as he’s clean that’s enough for him. Unless it would bother you, he doesn’t seem to be changing that
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
With how much effort Peter puts into every aspect of your relationship, as though making up for the fact that he isn’t as ‘good’ as the other marauders, it has led to quite a few intimate moments. They are, however, limited due to the settings available.
With help from his friends, he has more than once broken so many rules to have some privacy with you after curfew in areas no-one would find you, usually not even intending to have sex
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Please. He’s a young man, in his first sexual relationship with someone he is sure is out of his league. Any moment he has alone, or at least when everyone else is asleep, he is touching himself.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
He hasn’t had much chance to explore, but he seems to have a slight exhibitionism and submission kink
Exhibitionism: It probably comes from the fact that there are very few places for you to be alone in Hogwarts and that is where you spend a majority of your time. He is usually quite open to either of you sneaking over into each other’s dorm rooms when everyone else is asleep, or having you in any room that is empty for now
Submission: He is totally hopeless for you, to the point that people tease him over it, and he’d do anything you’d say just in everyday situations. So of course he’d be more than willing to submit to you sexually as well
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
Though he settles for a lot of places during term, it’s when you’re out of school for the break that you can really spend time together in his room, which is his favourite place to have you. It’s familiar and private and you usually can’t be disturbed
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Having you around and having your attention on him riles him up so much more than anyone expects
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
He wouldn’t share you or hurt you in any way that could linger, too scared that it’d make you leave him to even try
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
As any young man, he loves receiving. He will make doubly, triply sure that you really want to and he won’t take any form of control in it unless you urge him to
He will gladly reciprocate, though at first he did need guidance and he wasn’t really that good. Through practice, a lot of it, he has greatly improved
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
He starts out slow and usually means to let it stay that way. But the feeling of you and the overwhelming pleasure from being with you does make him end up going faster than intended
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Sometimes it’s all you can have, but he would rather hold out until you can be together properly in case you get caught
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
He’d take a few risks, in the name of pure experimentation either based on your ideas or random suggestions that the other Marauders give him that he never asks for, but there are limits either due to his lack of confidence or the circumstances
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)
He can go a few rounds, four on a really good day, and he lasts longer than you’d expect from someone with his (lack of) experience would
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
There is a lot of risk in having any sort of sex toys, especially with his friendship group, but there are a few spells that you found from a book in the restricted section that you have yet to test
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Peter is nowhere near the teasing type. When you’re in the moment, he wants it to last but the thought of teasing you doesn’t ever cross his mind
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
Peter is quiet, but he is quite vocal with it. He’ll mutter to you, though not being particularly dirty, and he’ll whimper occasionally but usually his noises are bitten back or otherwise muffled by his hand or wherever he’s decided to kiss you
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
Your first time was in his dorm, when the other marauders were in detention and their other dorm mate was in the common room. You hadn’t intended to go that far at first, but making out and a bit of heavy petting had just lead to it. Almost instantly after you’d finished, you’d heard the Marauders outside the door and had mere seconds to cover yourselves up.
That was how they found out that you and Peter were together. It could have gone better.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
He’s a bit longer than average. Not that he’ll ever say it, of course
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
Surprisingly, not too high. He’ll never pass up the opportunity for sex, at all, but if you just want to hang out or even do nothing in particular, he’s just as eager
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
He can go to sleep quite soon after he’s finished dishing out his affection, unless he has a reason to stay awake.

If they had a kid for Victor and Samson
@usually-abnormal
Name: Isaac Samson
Gender: Male
General appearance: Pale and has blond hair. Porbably resembles Octavian from HOO a lot? He has a lot of freckles and bright blue eyes. Gets a runner's body when he's older and starts to grow his hair out but always looks like he barely eats. Has the best smile though!
Personality: He's curious like his fathers but to a less curious degree. He'd rather observe something than try to play god with it. But this can also be a bad thing since Isaac is often a bit cowardly and has quite a few self-esteem issues due to the fact that one father is incredibly powerful while the other has mace life from scratch. Has a bad habit of rambling and saying very self-deprecating things before he realises it. Nervous around the rest of the family since he knows how they all feel about his fathers and just assumes they hate him automatically.
Special talents: Very good at remembering things. Took a survival course when he was six and was able to remember the steps perfectly years later. Also very good at debating because of this! Samuel and Isaac take advantage of this and it's a pain to everyone.
Who they like better: Isaac likes Samson better, mostly because he often has clashes with Victor over their methods of science and whether or not he can hang out with the other gamma kids. Probably faces the same issues as Arthur tbh (oh goshhh remember him??)
Who they take after more: Samson. They're both dense lmao.
Personal headcanon: Suffers from anxiety but doesn't want to tell anyone so a lot of the time his hands are trembling and he makes up excuses. Has such awful mental health which he thinks is ironic in a way and the only thing that makes him fully part of the hulk family. Also got adopted at 4 and Samson and Victor hadn't told anybody what they were doing until Isaac walked in one morning.

[Character Information]
Full Name: Landon ‘Faust’ Fenter
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Place of Origin: Fort Collins (specifically, near Lory State Park)
FC: Alex Lawther
Role within the community: Runner
How long have they been in Sanctuary: Since the beginning
[Traits]
+ creative
+ protective
+ energetic
- temperamental
- impulsive
- easily distracted
[Specific skills]
Basic knowledge of plants and animals, as well as the forests in general: most of Faust’s life was spent in forests and nature reserves alongside his father, who tried to impart all of his knowledge of nature and all its wonders onto his son. While Faust struggled to listen most of the time, he’s found he’s remembered a surprising amount that his father tried to teach him.
Skilled with a pocket knife: for his thirteenth birthday, Faust was given a pocket knife and told that, now that he was a man, he needed to learn how to use it. His father taught him how to use the small implement for a number of things, including gutting fish, lighting a fire, and defending himself.
Quick-thinking and extensive improvisation skills: years of theater has helped Faust’s mind, which has always run a mile a minute, to become an impressive improvisation tool. While his impulsive actions are not always the best course of action, being quick on his feet has gotten him out of a number of situations. You’ll also not meet a better liar than Faust, since he considers it a form of acting.
Basic survival skills: again, all the time spent in the nature surrounding Fort Collins has afforded Faust with basic knowledge on how to depend on the environment for survival. He is able to build a fire, knows which plants are okay to eat, how to find a safe source of water, and is able to navigate certain parts of the forest based on muscle memory alone. Faust surprises himself with how much of his father’s teachings he remembers. His build also allows him to sprint relatively fast, and get into small spaces that others cannot.
[Connections]
Puck: Nephew.
[Biography]
Faust grew up on the outskirts of Fort Collins with what could affectionately be referred to as an ‘earthy’ family. His park ranger father made sure Faust and his older sister, Lena, spent most of their days in the State Park- though, this started as a distraction for the two children who’d just recently lost their mother to cancer. To this day, Faust claims he barely remembers his mom- other than the fact that she gave warm hugs- since she was only alive for the first four years of his life. Spending his days in Lory State Park was (mostly) good for the young Faust. Growing up surrounded by nature did wonders for Faust’s nerves and general demeanour.
At a very young age, Faust exhibited behaviours that became a concern. He had a volatile and destructive personality; he became agitated so easily it was hard for him to get through a day without kicking his sister or breaking one of his toys and crying over it. He always seemed to be elsewhere, restless and intent on not listening to anyone. His father took him to a professional, who informed them that Faust presented with severe ADHD. It is, however, manageable- and with a loving family and a number of coping mechanisms, Faust (for the most part) did just fine. More than ever, Faust’s father decided the life of a park ranger would be what was best for him, and Lory State Park became something of a second home to the boy as his father taught him all the skills he thought he’d need.
While this kept him busy and he appreciated his father’s efforts, it wasn’t enough. It was as if the energy brimming inside of him was simply a bubbling pot that got a lid forced on top of it, but the contents were still doing its best to squeeze itself past its confinement. Days left him feeling weirdly lethargic and empty, unwilling to do the simplest of activities- he could barely find the energy to turn on the television. He couldn’t even motivate himself to do the things he thought he enjoyed, anymore. It was then that his father suggested he try something new. His mother, as Faust’s dad told him, had a passion for acting. In fact, Faust’s parents had met because his mother was a ‘Shakespeare in the park’ type of person. Faust wasn’t sure he had the confidence for theatre, but he gave it a try. He soon discovered he had a passion for the dramatic arts; he still considers joining the drama club in high school the best decision he ever made. It built up his confidence, and became the best outlet for his energy. His theatre friends were the ones to nickname him Faust, and it just stuck. High school easily became the best days of his life.
Two years out of school, Faust was still living at home with his father and his sister- as well as the new addition to the family- his nephew. Faust had plans to move to Los Angeles and attempt kickstarting an acting career, but there was the ever-present issue of a lack of funds. He went back to helping his father in the State Park, working part-time, and eventually started to consider offering acting classes in town as a source of extra income. The idea, unfortunately, never came to fruition.
Days before the infection broke out, Lena and her son took a trip into town. The purpose of the visit was to make amends with her ex-boyfriend, Michael, to give her son a chance at growing up with ‘a normal family’. Faust begrudgingly accompanied her as moral support. He’d no idea what the next few days would entail. When asked for an account of the first few days within the chaos of the outbreak, Faust will tell you that all he remembers is a sort of blur. It was all too much for him, all at once. All he knows is that he came out of it alive, but Lena and Michael did not. Faust managed to keep his nephew alive; the minute the danger became apparent, Faust remembers the toddler being thrust into his arms and Lena tearfully begging him to keep him safe. So Faust ran, and did as he was told.
Now, Faust is his nephew’s sole guardian. He’s affectionately nicknamed the boy Puck, and takes his role as his guardian as seriously as he can- as overwhelmed by the sudden responsibility as he is. He’s grateful for the safety he and Puck have within the Sanctuary, and the support system they’ve found there. One thing Faust is still unsure about is whether or not his father is still alive. A part of him hopes, but unfortunately he knows it isn’t likely.
It wasn’t long for Faust to find a role for himself within the community of the Sanctuary. With his knowledge of the forests, his seemingly unending energy (on the days that he can actually get up), and his skinny build that allows him to get into spaces that others cannot, it became clear that Runner was the best fit for him. It has become his job to scavenge and act as a sort of messenger, a job that he tries his best at- though some days he’ll find the weight of everything that’s happened to be too much to even consider doing anything.

Complete Translation of the interview in La Charente Libre dated April 11:
Tumblr media
-Wes Anderson is back for 4 days in Angoulême. He turns the last scenes of The French Dispatch. He has exclusively agreed to answer CL's questions. Meeting with an elegant filmmaker. He is a rare man. Discreet. Even if it has fueled all Angouleme's conversations in the last six months. Wes Anderson celebrated the end of the French Dispatch shoot with great fanfare in mid-March. Yet he is back for four days. Wednesday evening, in the salons of the hotel Saint-Gelais, his adopted home, he agreed to answer an exceptional few questions from Charente Libre and enlighten this Angoumoisine sequence of his life.
-Beige costume, colorful scarf, it is a handshake, pay attention to call his interlocutors by their first name. The director may be of Texan origin, he displays a very British elegance. He is talkative, prefers to answer in English for more accuracy in his intention. In a few minutes the ice is broken
-Why come back a few days to Angoulême? We had additional scenes to shoot. I spent the day [Wednesday, ed.] With students from the city for a dance scene. A Parisian choreographer was brought in to set the sequence. We also rebuilt a café in the studios for another scene.
-It seems that other prestigious actors are added to the credits? Rupert Friend (Homeland) makes me the friend to come and Alex Lawther (Imitation Game). But still not Brad Pitt, I'm sorry for those who thought to see him in the film. I shot with him, a few years ago, an ad for Japan. This is the only time we have worked together.
-Since we are talking about the cast, the one you managed to get together is pretty incredible. I have a lot of actors with whom I have been working for a long time. I'm lucky they agree to come even for a short appearance. But I had never worked with Benicio Del Toro, Timothy Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri or Guillaume Gallienne who was great. And it's amazing to have someone like Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Bastard) who agrees to come for a scene. Thanks to him, she is better.
-One of our readers was astonished in our columns that you did not find anything better than Angouleme. She did not believe that you traveled all over France before choosing. So tell us why here? We did a great tour of France in search of a city that could be a district of Paris, like Menilmontant, Belleville or Montmartre. Angoulême has a beautiful architecture. The old town is preserved with its stairs, bridges and different levels.
-That was enough to seduce you? The studio in the old factory in Gond-Pontouvre also weighed in the decision. For it to be perfect, it lacked a prison decor that we found at Ruelle. Finally, here it is quiet, so ideal for making a movie.
- How did the actors react, like Bill Murray, when you told them that it was happening in Angoulême?   They did not know. But Bill loved it. He was to come only once. He insisted on coming back. The second time, he stayed a week for a single day of filming. The hotel Saint-Gelais is for many. I needed a place like this to bring the actors together and the team feel good. And it was easy to bring them to the TGV.
-You have largely drawn from the local pool for figuration? Yes, it was pretty spectacular. We searched for a long time because, contrary to usage, we all see them in the image. They are important. That's why I wanted to cast them one by one.
-And you meet Mauricette Couvidat?

-Ah, Mauricette! I have never seen anyone being appreciated by all comedians so fast. She is a star! She has a powerful voice that gives her a great presence. She is a wonderful, very professional person, whereas she had never made films. When I saw the video shot in her downtown pharmacy, I knew she could not be a mere extraswoman.
-Your team was omnipresent in the city and yet it was a very secret shoot, why such a mystery? When I shoot I do not want any advertising, except when the movie comes out of course. I must evolve in calm and in intimacy. It's always hard to talk about a movie before it's released. The story is not easy to explain
-And precisely, what is the story? An American journalist based in France creates his magazine. It is more a portrait of this man, of this journalist who fights to write what he wants to write. It's not a movie about freedom of the press, but when you talk about reporters you also talk about what's going on in the real world.
-The mayor of Angouleme, Xavier Bonnefont, has the idea to keep some sets to expose them? It's a nice idea. Usually, they are destroyed. I find it interesting to keep them and make them available to the public.
-And what do you say to Angoumoisins ( name of the inhabitants) offended by the name of the city in your film: Ennui-sur-Blasé?  Blasé is the name of the river. He had been found before choosing Angouleme. For anglophones, it sounds funny. But that the Angoumoisins do not take offense, Angoulême plays a big role in the film.
-You share your life between New York and Paris, when will a house in Angouleme? I saw beautiful places that's true. I particularly like the Bardines Hotel, rue de Beaulieu, which belongs to the Fougère family. I hope they will not be embarrassed that I'm talking about their house. But it is incredible, it dominates Angouleme.
-
Last question, when will we be able to see the film on the big screen? I do not know the release date. I never know but I feel he could be ready before the end of the year.

Two important pieces of information from the credits
Tumblr media
Braxas is the son of Warden Wrath, that was not a random demon who looked like Wrath
also EMPEROR BELOS IS NOT PHILLIP WITTEBANE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT VOICE ACTORS
Wittebane is voiced by Alex Lawther, while Belos is voiced by Matthew Rhys. could of course be by design not to spoil, but that definitely is less plausible now.
