This is for the palette game too, but i don't have an ask to attach it to, because it was a suggestion from my little brother! This is Kyana, the astral monk from the Rolling with Difficulty podcast. Her clothing is loosely based on the s4 official art, with less detail & some changes to fit in the limited palette. The arms were referenced from older official art where they appear.

I did this one first and it was difficult to work with a limited palette that I didn't create myself. I really like using monochrome + one accent color, and this palette was similar, but I kept wishing it had more contrast. I'm really happy with how it turned out, though! The mostly lineless style looks very clean for a pretty quick drawing.

I belatedly realized I could've just. Used the S1/S2 outfits because those aren't obstructed by the poses in the illustrations (since once I got the pose I was stubborn). Oh well.

Dnd isn’t normally my thing but I’ve been really loving Rolling with Difficulty. All the characters are so much fun and the setting is so cool!!

Day 31: Family

For the last prompt, I took inspiration from the end of Stowaway. It was so fun doing all of these!

The urge to write a Scooby-Doo style Rolling with Difficulty high school AU where Dani is the loud kid who cuts class to hang out in the shop room, VR-LA is neurodivergent (not that they all aren’t) and good at magic tricks, Finbar is the Home-Ec god that everyone around school either has or has heard romance stories of, and Kyana is the new kid gym rat with a chill adoptive father and still doesn’t know half the rules of the school. And they go around exploring in the old car Dani’s father loans her to use for work and she won’t stop fucking with even though it works perfectly and her cat Plug lives in the trunk with a hole cut out of the back seat for him to come up into the cab, and the whole thing is extra ridiculous because VR-LA is the only one with a driver’s license anyway.
