wanted to do some color-themed oc + otherwise groups… maybe got a little carried away!! 💦💦 I was just making these for fun, but now my brain is all over wondering what they'd be like working together on something. a game show. a social experiment on an island. they have to work together to solve puzzles or fight things and run into each other along the way. you know how it is.
I started thinking about how edward would immediately become the leader of team red, how drew is surrounded by a bunch of ladies with a thirst for violence plus an evil god chicken, how arthur would dedicate himself to protecting his group (and tolerating felix) and how he carries the entire team, how team green has the most argumentative people that are barely being held together, and how team purple is pretty good at getting along and has a comical dynamic considering it contains dez, monster people AND louis. I was gonna say team blue is the obligatory disadvantaged team, but they have the most hilarious family dynamic and are led by the biggest pacifists of everyone here and will probably end up befriending a dragon. also kage is there and he's the weird uncle.

Supernatural bingo
so uh... i made a supernatural bingo card for me and my partner to use but its really fun so i thought i would share
if you use the link above you can generate a bingo card! i will explain some of the less obvious tiles here:
"Winchester-isms" is when one of the main characters (usually Sam or Dean) describes something using a really weird metaphor or pop culture reference e.g. describing the staff of moses as a "disco stick", or asking Kevin if he can "read the chicken scratch on the god rock"
"CNK shown on screen" refers to the first 3 letters of the impala's number plate, this is just because i find CNK funny and i like when they show it
"Live Sam reaction" is when Sam is in the background of a scene just making faces at what's going on, usually destiel shenanigans but can be anything really
"black eyes as demon reveal" is when they do that thing where they reveal that someone is a demon by having them blink and then they have black eyes (or red or yellow or whatever)
"Sam makes the Sam face" refers to when Sam does this:

Now, with all that said, we do have some guidelines/rules we'd like to set.
This blog is run by real-life people. We absolutely understand simping for deranged characters, but constantly simping and flirting with the characters through this blog makes us uncomfortable. Most of them wouldn't be receptive to it, anyways.
You can't mess with stuff in-universe too much. Nothing that would cause big changes or such: For example, you can't break the Horror Squad out of jail. We'll have to play it by ear somewhat, but just keep this in mind.
Do note that we will add more rules if we discover we need to set more boundaries, but we don't think that'll be necessary. Moon's just a little extra cautious.

Goodbye Stranger: Final Part
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Female!Reader
Word Count: ~2k
Warnings: canon angst and violence
Author’s Note: I do not own anything from Supernatural. All credit goes to their respective owners. Any and all comments on these are appreciated.
"Hey, what did you mean back there about Sam?" Dean asks once you're inside the basement of the building.
"It's difficult to say. It's something on the subatomic level and his electromagnetic field--"
"Okay, bottom-line it for me, Bill Nye. Is it lethal?" Dean cuts him off.
"I don't know." He takes a couple of more steps before stopping in the middle of the hallway. He turns to the wall and places his hands on it. "There's a draft. There's something behind there. Stand back."
You and Dean back up, and you use your magic to shield the children so that it doesn't scare them. Castiel uses his powers to crumble the wall into pieces, but your children aren't affected by this. With the wall down, you enter the dirty and dusty crypt. There are ancient artifacts lying everywhere, and everything is covered with dust and spiderwebs.
This could take a while, especially if you don't know what it looks like. You can assume it looks like the demon tablet, but you can't be sure.
"Dean, that's it," Castiel says, pointing to a box in the very back.
"How do you know?" you ask and walk closer to it.
"It's the only thing in here warded against angels."
Dean sets Joanna down and picks up the box, placing it on the table in front of Castiel. Joanna moves closer to you and grips your legs, and you place a hand on the top of her head to comfort her. Dean pries open the lid, and he takes out a large block of stone.
"Winner, winner, chicken dinner," Dean smirks.
"Good. Hand it to me, and I'll take it to heaven," Castiel says.
Your eyes snap to his, and everything in you is telling you not to hand it over to him.
"No, we will take it to Kevin so he can translate."
"Right. Of course. I'll take it to him right away. No time to waste."
Dean must sense that this isn't a good idea, so he hands you the tablet, and you take it in one hand since Maryann is in the other.
"He's not that far. I've been meaning to check on him and bring him some supplies."
"I can resupply the Prophet, Dean."
"Like hell we're giving it to you," you glare. "We don't trust you, Castiel. We're going to take it to him, and you're going to go back to your 'mission'. Isn't finding the other half of the demon tablet your first priority?"
"I can't let you take that, Y/N."
"Can't or won't?"
"Don't do this in front of your children."
"How did you get out of Purgatory, Cas? Just tell me how you got out of Purgatory. Be honest with me for the first time since you've been back, and the tablet is yours," Dean says.
"No, tell us who you'll be bringing this to once you have it. Don't think I believe you're doing this by yourself. You're feeding someone information, aren't you? You're acting exactly how you did when you were working with Crowley to find the Alphas. Who's manipulating you?" you whisper the last part.
Castiel is clearly struggling internally on this one. He wants to do the right thing and listen to you, but he's also trying to reject the person controlling him.
"What have you done to me, Naomi?" Castiel groans in pain, clutching his head.
"Who's Naomi? Cas!"
Dean places a hand on his shoulder, and the angel retaliates by backhanding Dean who is thrown into the wall.
"Daddy!" Joanna screams.
Your family is threatened, and you have to do something before the person controlling Castiel orders him to touch your kids. Your eyes glow a soft blue as you muster enough magic to slam Castiel into the opposite wall and away from Dean.
You grab Joanna's hand and quickly run over to Dean who gets to his feet. He takes Maryann from your arms, and he scoops Joanna into his arms so that both of his girls are with him.
"Get out of here."
"I can't leave you alone with him."
Castiel groans and gets up, wiping the dust off his trench coat.
"It's my turn to protect you. Get them out of here."
As you turn to face Castiel, your eyes shine brighter than ever with your magic. Blue magic forms at your fingertips, and you're ready to do some damage on the angel for hurting your husband.
"No one threatens my family," you growl angrily.
Castiel charges at you, but you slam balls of magic into his stomach, using a powerful fist infused with magic to hit the side of his face. He goes toppling to the ground, and your magic encases him so you're able to manipulate his whole body. You slam him into the same wall as before, watching as he crashes through it and into the other room.
Before you have time to react, Castiel teleports behind you, and he backhands you so hard that you fly into the wall behind you. The angel tablet falls to the ground, out of reach from you. You crack the wall when you hit it, and you groan in pain. Dean struggles to take out his gun and fires at Castiel knowing it won't have any effect.
The angel turns to face Dean with a deadly look in his eyes. If you don't do anything soon, he will hurt your kids and your husband. If you're going to defeat him, you have to tap into the power of the Sapphire Witch.
It says that the Sapphire Witch can utilize Order Magic, allowing mastery of spells capable of manipulating and/or reconstructing reality and the very fabric of existence, and bring about order to the cosmos.
The rest of the journal does go into great detail about the capabilities the Sapphire Witch has, but they're all rumors since no Sapphire Witch has achieved that level of power before. Apparently, the greatest Sapphire Witch can warp reality however she sees fit.
If you're going to defeat the angel, you have to tap into the magic that's only been a rumor.
You push yourself to your feet, and you think about how scared Maryann and Joanna look. You think about how Dean struggles between fighting his friend and protecting his kids. Your magic covers every inch of your body, and your eyes glow the brightest they've ever been, including the whites.
As easy as a single thought, you use your magic to create another one of you, right in front of Castiel. He pauses and looks behind him to see you standing there as well. Your magic can create the illusion of multiple yous, so you continue with the pattern.
There's three of you, now four, now eight, and you go until there are about twelve of you all staring at Castiel with a deadly look in your eyes. All twelve of you create your magic into whips, and you whip at Castiel so that your magic hooks onto his arms, legs, hands, and any place they can go.
Castiel struggles to escape your magical hold, even while using his own powers. He realizes now that you're meant to be much stronger than any angel ever created... even archangels themselves. Maybe you're not on the level of God or Amara, but you could be with determination and practice.
"Get out of here!" you struggle to say since this is taking a lot out of you.
Castiel sees his window of opportunity when you show your weakness, so he musters up enough strength to yank on his right arm, sending five clones of you crashing at his feet. He places a hand to their heads, using his powers to kill them off. Once dead, they mist away since it's your magic to hold the illusion.
You don't have enough time or strength to create more versions of yourself before Castiel kills all of them but you. You're too distracted to see him marching up to you, and he grips your throat so tightly that you can't breathe.
The magic in your eyes dies down as you struggle in his grip.
"Get... out... of... here... please," you struggle to say to Dean.
"Mama," Joanna cries loudly.
You must have some power still left in you, and with the combination of hearing your daughter call for you, is enough for one more trick.
You place your hand to Castiel's temple, and you send a shock of magic through his head. His eyes shine the same color as your magic before releasing his hold on you. You fall to the ground in a fit of coughs.
Castiel is seeing his worst fears come to life, but you know he will come out of this soon. Dean turns to leave, but then he thinks about you and he knows he has to stay. While you're still down, Castiel reaches for the angel tablet that has broken out of its shell. As soon as he touches it, the tablet shines bright orange, and Castiel shines bright white.
You shield yourself from the white light, and Dean does his best to shield the light from his kids. Once the light dies down, Castiel is standing there with tears in his eyes.
"I'm so sorry."
You get up and run over to Dean who brings you into his arms. Using that much magic wore you out pretty good, but you're not going to show Castiel that.
"What the hell just happened?" Dean demands.
"An angel named Naomi has been feeding me orders. She's the one who wanted this tablet in the first place," Castiel reveals.
"So, this 'Naomi' has been controlling you since she got you out of Purgatory?"
"Yes."
"What broke the connection?" you ask.
"I don't know. I just know that I have to protect this tablet now."
"From Naomi?"
"Yes, and from you two."
"From us? What are you talking about?" Dean asks. Within a blink of an eye, Castiel and the tablet are gone. "Cas? Cas! Damn it. Are you okay?"
"Dean!" Sam says as she rushes down the stairs into the crypt. "Hey, where's Cas?"
"He's gone. What about Meg?"
"We have to go now."
Dean has his children still in his arms, and when you go to follow the brothers, your legs give out, and you fall to the ground. Using that much magic took a lot out of you, and you haven't gotten your strength back.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm so tired," you sigh.
"Go, I got her," Sam says.
Dean runs ahead without you, and Sam scoops you up bridal style. He rushes up the stairs and over to the car just as Dean finishes strapping in his kids. Sam doesn't have time and places you in the front seat while he jumps into the back. You look back to see Crowley with a beaten Meg next to him.
They're talking, but you don't know what they're saying.
Suddenly, Meg uses an angel blade and stabs Crowley in the shoulder, but Crowley is one step ahead of her. He grabs the blade and turns it so that the tip of the blade is turned to Meg. He stabs Meg in the chest, killing her instantly.
You smile knowing that she won't ever be a problem for you. You wish you could have killed her, but seeing it is second best.
"Thank God," you mutter tiredly.
"What happened?" Dean gives him the basic breakdown while you close your eyes. "I mean, Cas touched the tablet, and it reset him to his factory settings or something?"
"I don't know, and I don't care. All I know is that he is off the reservation with a heavenly control behind the wheel. Listen, man, I can't take any more lies from anyone."
"Yeah, I'm really sorry. I should have told you. I just wanted to believe I was okay. I don't know," Sam sighs.
"Well, you heard what Cas said. That first trial hurt you in ways that even he can't heal. Sammy, I need you to be honest with us from here on out, man."
"You're right. I will be."
"Sweetheart, are you doing okay?" Dean asks and looks over at you.
"Yeah, I just used too much magic. I'll be okay. How are the kids?"
"Doing fine," Sam says, smiling at his nieces.
"What kind of magic was that? You did something you've never been able to do before."
"I saw how scared the girls were, and when Castiel hurt you, I had to do something before he hurt them, too," you whisper.
You've always had the power to do great things, you just need to work on controlling it better.

Stranger Things Demon AU, The Witching Hour
"I don't know man, are you sure we should be messing with this shit?" Gareth asked as Eddie led him and the other members of Corroded Coffin into the woods. "I mean DnD is one thing but this is like actual old satanic shit. What if it actually does something?"
"You don't have to come Gare Bear." Eddie held the book he found tight to his chest. Kevin had the bag of supplies needed for the ritual slung over his shoulder. "If you're going to be a chicken maybe you should go home." Eddie teased the other highschooler.
"I'm not a chicken."
"Nah just a pussy scared of the dark." Jeff laughed. Gareth responded by elbowing him in the gut. "Ow!"
It was a late Friday night. Glancing down at his watch Eddie saw it was eleven fifty four and came to a stop.
"Come on, book says it had to be at exactly midnight or the summoning ritual won't work." Kevin took his flashlight out, pointing it at the ground as Eddie grabbed the bag from him.
"And ugh, why are we trying to summon a demon again?"
"Not sure. I'm thinking maybe asking for our band to hit it big time. Or if that's too much maybe just for Jason Carver to fall down some stairs or something."
"But we'll have to sell our souls." Eddie shrugged.
"If you ask anyone in this shit hole, they'd say we're already going to hell. Might as well have some fun before it happens." The other band members shared nervous glances when Eddie began to draw a circle in chalk on the ground he'd cleared off. Tracing a pentagram on the inside, he opened the book and read the symbols carefully before etching them along the points. Grabbing the candle, Steve put one on each point and used his light on each one. Everyone switched off their flashlights, now the candles and the moonlight illuminated the four.
"Demon of old!" Eddie called out, his eyes scanning the open pages before him. "We summon you tonight on the blood moon! We ask for your powers and promise ourselves, body and soul to forever serve you in the after life! Come forth and reveal yourself!"
There was a momentary pause before a large gust of wind came at them suddenly, blowing the candles out in the process. A loud shriek followed. Most likely Gareth.
"Fuck this shit, I ain't dying today." Kevin said audibly and he made a break for it. The other two members quickly following and leaving Eddie alone.
"Oh come on guys! It was just some wind!" But they kept going and Eddie sighed. "Fine, whatever." He muttered before turning back to the circle. Looking down at his watch he saw it was now twelve o' one with no demon in sight. "Huh. Guess I shouldn't be too surprised." Eddie didn't really believe in God or Hell but it was still a bit disappointing. All the ritual effort for nothing-
"You rang?" A new voice rand out and Eddie jumped. Quickly spinning around and coming face to face with...someone.
"Jesus!"
"Actually, it's kind of the opposite." The figure stepped forth out of the shadows into the clearing where his body was revealed by the moonlight. It was a normal guy. Well, relatively normal. He was actually quite handsome. The first thing Eddie noticed was his hair. It looked fluffy. He almost wanted to feel it. The next thing he noticed were the wings. Tall and leathery. Like large black bat wings.
"Ugh....." Eddie stumbled for words. Was it suddenly hotter?
"Hello?" The man, demon?, waved his hands in front Eddie's face. "You okay there buddy?" The young man shook his head before words came spilling forth.
"You're a demon?"
"In the flesh." The demon grinned. A surprisingly handsome flesh. "And you are...?"
"Eddie." Eddie wasn't sure why he was so eager to answer this guy's questions but he kept going. "Eddie Munson."
"Well Eddie Munson," the demon purred, circling around the metalhead, "what is it you desire in exchange for your soul? Money? Power?" The demons eyes darted down to his shirt. "Let me guess, you want your band to get it's big break. Wouldn't be the first time. Just say the word and it's yours."
Eddie Munson was enraptured by the demon as his mind raced. What the hell was he supposed to say?
"I...don't know?" It was more a question than a statement. The demon's face turned.
"What?"
"I don't know! I didn't even think this would work!" Eddie tried to defend himself. "We were just messing around. I didn't even think God was real but hey. The more you know." The demon stared at him dumbfounded and his facade fell as he grabbed Eddie by his vest.
"You idiot! Do you know what you've done?!" The demon snapped at Eddie. The highschooler shook his head and the creature sighed. Letting go of him and glancing around. "That little chant you did? For fun? Was a binding spell. Until you make a wish and give me your soul I can't leave your side."
"But I don't want to give you my soul. Now that I know this shit is real I think have a few things about my life I need to re evaluate all things considered."

"If you don't I'll...ugh, I'll kill you. Strike you down right where you stand!" The demon threatened none too convincingly. Eddie laughed. "What's so funny, human?"
"If you could kill me, I think you would've done it already." The demon floundered at Eddie's comment.
"...okay fine I can't actually hurt you but come on, please? I'm bound to you until you make a deal...or die. And I don't know how long that the second one's going to take." The demon's time continued to get more annoyed but Eddie refused to give in.
"No. I'm not trading my soul for something stupid." Eddie was firm as he eyed the demon, now more pathetic than anything else. It was making him feel bad. "But maybe...you can stick around and help me decide what to wish for."
"Well considering I have no other choice in the matter, I have to concur." Eddie stuck his hand out and the demon took it in agreement.
"So...if you're going to be sticking around for a while...what's your name?" The demon stared at him.
"My name?"
"I can't just call you demon."
"Ah right." The demon's face twisted as if in deep thought. "Steve. You can call me Steve."

Nightmare's Backstory: Nightmare was still wanted by the Justice Reings, and he was looking around for his missing friends and one day Nightmare sneaked in to Dream's office and found a paper on Dream's desk and Nightmare learned about Dream's plan and tried to stop Dream but Dream stabbed Nightmare with his sword and Dream left Nightmare there, but someone found Nightmare and healed him and Nightmare woke up in a house and had some help their name was Ani, and they were ready to help Nightmare with stopping Dream and Nightmare's pet chicken Kevin was there to the demonic chicken (age 124 Nightmare's height: 5'5)

Honestly, kudos to Kyle Edward Ball for crafting a completely critic-proof film. Aside from people just being contrarian, the primary defense seems to be that this is a film meant to appeal to the emotions rather than the logical or narrative brain. No shit. On some levels, this does work, and it is effective in moments. It feels very much like the experience of being a child and being afraid of something as simple as having to go down the hall to the bathroom at night, or of your parents disappearing for no reason and leaving you alone. There is even a bit of a suggestion of instigating events: Kevin fell down the stairs while sleepwalking and hit his head, so this could all be a fantasy. Kaylee and Kevin’s parents seem to be separated, so when the demonic entity begins to use Kaylee’s mother as a lure, there’s an inherent anxiety to that familial dynamic. There’s an entry point, and outlining the rough events gives the illusion of a decent film: as the kids find themselves alone with no doors or windows, and begin to stop being placated with toys and TV and get scared, things become increasingly dark (in every sense). It starts small, things like the reassuring hallway nightlight falling out of the wall on its own. But as this strange liminal space takes hold, things become more frightening and surreal to the point where Kaylee apparently loses her mouth (another very basic childhood type of fear) and Kevin potentially stabs himself in the eye.
The problem comes more in the structure, which feels free of intent. If this is about an emotional journey, there ought to be a clear ruleset of visual language that is either followed or broken, or a lack thereof but with a meta level of understanding that the filmmaker has an intent. Initially, static shots define the visual language. Shots are framed not literally from a child’s perspective, but more from their world-view, the floor consuming the shot or the ceiling canted at an odd angle. Things we could usually see over block much of the frame. So therefore the first time the camera moves, it jumps out and clearly must be important. But from here on out, movement is inconsistently used. Sometimes it’s a child’s perspective, Kaylee looking around the room. Other times the camera moves in the same way but it’s an omniscient observer. This uncertainty of perspective should create tension, but instead it starts to get funny. Are these Lego bricks being knocked over clearly by some PA just out of frame supposed to be the kid or the demon doing it? Oh nooooo! Things are taped to the wall! It’s also interminably long. It’s also a Jump Scare Movie, which means it startles rather than scares, and a lot of tension is generated more by when the next cheap and lazy loud bang will happen rather than earned. This is an effective 7-minute YouTube tone piece stretched out even beyond 90 minutes. By the end it’s clear Ball has never heard the phrase “left on the cutting room floor” because he’s just using all of the footage he shot. The final ten minutes are just a parade of potential endings presented in no particular sequence, a series of shots that prompted me to go “thank god it’s finally over” only to be disappointed by the film still going. The Clue choose your own adventure is a masterclass in simple endings by comparison.
It’s also a technical mess. I dislike but can forgive the purposefully dark handling of lighting in its intent. Sometimes it’s even effective: the overly fuzzy VHS film grain effect applied sometimes creates that sensation that maybe you’re seeing something moving in a dark hall with its flickering pixels, kind of like when you’re little and scared and your eyes are adjusting. But mostly it’s just hard to tell what’s going on. Even worse is the sound. Aside from the sudden bangs and jump scare stings it’s impossible to tell what the fuck anyone is saying. That would be “okay” but the movie chickens out and subtitles some of the lines (but not even properly in a few cases lol). You have little kids and a demon voice over grainy static, of course it’s going to be hard to hear. So either subtitle everything and commit to everyone understanding the dialogue, remove the subtitles and keep the mix as is, leaning more into the atmosphere evoked by the sounds, or compromise “artistry” with clarity and adjust the fucking sound mix. If Christopher Nolan watched this he would have the biggest fucking boner and walk out feeling so vindicated. “See!? Nobody’s supposed to hear things!”

dropping some headcanons and lore for my spooky month muses because this hyperfixation has me in a chokehold rn.
( tw for cannibalism, murder, animal violence. )
bob’s background is much more developed, thanks to some help via a friend on discord. he grew up on a rural farm with his mother and father, with the both of them selling their produce in order to create a steady income for their family. bob’s mother focused primarily on vegetation, such as fruits, vegetables, herbs and the like. his father however focused heavily on the production of meats, being the one responsible for selling their steaks, chickens and other profitable meat items. being surrounded by such a food centric environment during his early life, bob’s young mind quickly became fixated on the idea of becoming a chef, which became his dream from a young age.
as he grew up, his father eventually taught him the ways to slaughter the animals on their farm, wanting his son to take up the mantle. although hesitant at first, bob was soon joining his dad on the job. however, one day, something seemed to snap within his mind. just what could he slaughter with the skills he had learned ? once bob became a young adult, that’s when his mind finally broke. one night, he decided to test this theory, sneaking into his parent’s room and striking them both in the head with the very same gun they used on their livestock, killing them. in his already deranged state, another thought entered his mind; if they could be slaughtered the same, then could they also be eaten the same as well ? his questions were soon answered, and thus started his cannibalistic descent into madness.
the amulet within his chest placed there via the cult also has some doings for his cannibalistic nature. he was recruited to the cult because of the horrific reputation he eventually made for himself, the cult seeing bob as a valuable asset in their goals. the amulet inside bob’s chest gives him incredible strength and endurance, but also comes at a cost; it only enhances his hunger further. this ensures that he’s constantly on the prowl, willing to perform the cult’s wishing in order to satisfy himself, but even that doesn’t last long.
now onto kevin. before kevin worked in the candy store, he was actually a police officer, inspired by this one piece of fanart i found. he joined the force when he was very young, fresh out of high school even. kevin was inspired via his uncle, who i headcanon to be jack, and did his best to follow in his footsteps, which he did eventually achieve. however, as true with the chaotic nature of the spooky month series, it was then that kevin truly discovered how corrupt the crime within their small town could be, coming face to face with many horrors that eventually became too much for him, leading to his eventual resignation from the police force. he originally started working at the candy store for a chance at a normal life, away from all the chaos that he had endured, however, it seems even despite the career change, kevin cannot escape the demons that plague him in his everyday life.
