I was constantly asking which design was the weakest, why, and how to fix it. Whenever I tested without the magical comet behind it, people could only guess who comet was by process of elimination.
I didn't want to rely on throwing icons into the design. I wanted each one to communicate through shape and silhouette alone. It would be like drawing a little cherub with a bow and arrow floating along with cupid. If you have to include a nametag to communicate, your design can be improved.
So I tried a few different strategies to say "comet" before I realized I could twist the antlers into any shape I wanted. I was worried I would have to discard the drawing and restart from scratch! Which is what I did for rudolph about 6 times before I had a breakthrough.
Then I gave my patrons a brief lesson in antlers to explain where and why I was placing the tines. When I stray from the caribou structure, I do so knowingly in order to achieve something that cannot be achieved within the caribou shape, like dancer's tutu. Know the rules before you break them. My goal is to make animal nerds (myself chief among them) happy when they see species-specific anatomy instead of cop outs.
I tried a few things before figuring out antlers could become comet
Another thing that often caribou have is an unsymmetrical "spork" that comes forward off only one antler. I figured this out by looking at hundreds of reindeer pictures and saving them to my reference folder. A few of my designs have this, that's what the little spiral is in the final comet antler design.
When I put comet in my lineup, I realized that the antlers I drew were way more stylized, chunky, and "tribal" than the others. I had already changed the proportions on one of my designs to match, so then I had to hack away at the basic comet rack to make it look natural.
I already knew that comet's colors would be easy because a basic reindeer already Has the big comet on the shoulder. But here's a peak at all the reindeer images I posted for my patrons to look at.
As you can see below, I chose reindeer markings for all my designs instead of other deer or animals. Even vixen is tied to actually possible reindeer patterns rather than copy-pasting a fox. Almost all of my designs have light-colored anklets on dark colored legs, which is very common with caribou of any color. This is the sort of thing no one tells you; you have to observe it yourself.
Ft cupid's early design! I was continually testing out my reindeer silhouettes and colors on new people, taking their feedback, and fixing what wasn't clicking.
I know I could have made vixen sexy and curvy to play into a recognizable trope, but I really wanted them to be scary and fox-like. Sometimes you gotta do what you want and not what you think will appeal to audiences. Reindeer Days is a purposeful exercise in audience resonance. Most of my art is 100% me and what I feel like doing with no regards to anyone else. So it was a fun challenge!

One of these is going to get a lot more "that must be vixen!" results from people who aren't constantly thinking about animal colors, markings, hunting strategies, and teeth.
And one rocks.
Vixen changed the least from the initial 2021 concept!
A Vixen is a female fox. In english slang, it means a cunning, fierce human woman, and sometimes sexually attractive or promiscuous. Quite often an insult to someone because she won't date you!
But to me, a vixen is an animal. A predator.
When designing to reference something, I like to hit it at multiple angles, referencing obscure trivia about something to delight and educate. This is done by researching a topic deeply, far below surface level and beyond what you think you need to make your design. Or in my case its just knowing a bunch of animal trivia already.
After researching/dredging your knowledge, sit there and Think. Don't draw anything. Come up with several ideas and then throw them all in at once for the ultimate trivia design.
Trivia about red foxes:
They have Long bushy tails
They have teeth that include large sharp canines, flat incisors, triangular premolars, and chunky molars with points on them that slide scissor-like with the molars above to cut meat via chewing
They hunt rodents in burrows under the snow by jumping into the air, arcing, and slamming down with their face through the snow
They are orange
They have a dark vertical stripe on their snout
They have black legs, with the backs and bottoms being orange
Translated into the design:
Pose based on a fox jumping, about to land in the snow
Antlers twisted to resemble teeth
Long (for a reindeer) bushy tail
black mark on snout
Some adjustment to the pose to be at the top of the arc and flow better.
Tinkering with the design to make it recognizable but not 100% copypasta fox
I was finally happy with a design that absolutely showed "fox" while still being creative and plausibly caribou shaped. This would absolutely communicate who it is! I thought!
The most obvious one of the bunch! After all, everyone knows what a vixen is!

🔪 gimme all your Roach thoughts
🐈⬛️ Frenchie too.
My two favorite characters aside from Ed!!!
Ok to start off with Roach. In an ofmd discord server i am it but has sadly died, I once got told I was protective of Roach. And I mean, this man is a world class chef in my mind and I see him as needing food to be perfect, so I will defend him on that. And with season two, he invented peanut paste, or peanut butter, which is what my url is named after!
Also his crazed love of torture is so lovable to me. I love a crazed character, and even rooted for him to be able to torture the hostages because he wouldn’t go all the way. And how excited he was to cut off Lucius’s finger was priceless.
He also has some pf the best one-liners. “Come back, this is all a dream, come back!”, “knives are knives, meat’s meat” “mm we’re tender as hell” “we eat, but how often do we taste” and those are just the ones that come to mind now. He is so funny and chaotic I absolutely adore him and Samba being such a gem definitely adds to it.
Oh Frenchie, where do I begin with Frenchie. The fact that the first piece of art that wasn’t a sketch from memory I did for OMFD was of Frenchie says a lot in of itself (should I post it here? I don’t think I did). I will say I am so sad as a witch with 3 cats that he would be afraid of me because he is someone I would love to be friends with!!!
To start off, I love his songs. I have the words to “To Death We Go” (the full version) memorized and have sang it a lot. Also the fact that he was willing to play his lute for Ed’s song is iconic!!!
This man is also so smart??? Like the ability to think on the fly and even more think of scams on the fly is soo impressive he needs so much more credit. Also he is the kind of guy who is always aware of what is going on. He is the one who asked Ed if the crew was going to live or die, he is the one who found the invitation to the fancy party, and unlike Stede’s first reaction was completely supportive of Ed after he got mocked at said party. Where Stede said “How could you?” Frenchie said “they’re such dicks about spoons!”. Not to mention he almost definitely helped Stede get the information necessary in order for Stede to get the aristocrats to turn on each other. This guy has such street and emotional smarts that he is such an amazing addition to the cast and why I wanted him to fill Lucius’s role for Ed in season 2.
In season 2 I was a bit disappointed that we did not get to see this supportive, aware, and emotionally intelligent part of his character as much, but I understand why. Ed was in such a state that Frenchie did not know the reasons behind and did not want to get killed, so he did not try to support Ed as much, which makes sense for his character. I feel awful that he felt he needed to lock away his trauma in a box in his mind because of how unhealthy that is, but I also am aware that the atmosphere of Ed’s ship at the start of season two was not the kind of place to talk it through as a crew, so I understand why he did that too. Still, he had enough of a heart to try and help Izzy instead of killing him when Ed shot him despite how awful Izzy had been to all of them in the past, which is commendable. And these traits that Frenchie has makes so much sense why Ed chose him to be the new first mate, along with how Frenchie has been supportive of Ed in the past.
I also find Frenchie’s superstitions to be kinda funny and cute. His explanation of women having crystals in their bodies is iconic, as is his fear of cats. It is also so endearing how he channeled his fear of cats, making the most iconic flag of the revenge in season 1, it being the one bloodied with Nigel’s blood and used by the British as a symbol of the revenge, using a witch costume for his costume in the fuckery in s1e6 with Wee John along as his cat, and then having a feral cat on his jacket and the new flag of the revenge in season 2. As a cat enthusiast myself, I love the cat motif with Frenchie and what it means to him. God I love Frenchie’s character so much, and although I do think Olu deserved to be captain after he was basically elected as one in season 1, my love of Frenchie makes me so happy that he is the new captain of the revenge at the end of season 2.
Now with both of these characters together, I personally see them as besties, along with Wee John. Their interactions with each other are so sweet and fun I only wish we got to see them play off of each other more in the show. While I personally ship Frenchie more with Wee John and Roach more with Buttons (i am sitting on a whole manifesto for this ship i just need to find the right time to post it), I do get very happy when I see ship art of these two.
I am sorry this is probably much more than you expected but I love these characters so much and I don’t get to talk about them enough so I had to get all of my thoughts out there!!

i finally got csp myself and i was wondering what brush settings you use!! (or just any tips on the program as a whole lol)
For sure! this is by no means a comprehensive tutorial or anything, and I totally encourage you to look up some good videos on youtube about csp.
under a cut for length
CSP can be a little overwhelming (at least, it was for me) but the good thing about it is that it's easy to use once you figure out the learning curve. You can move all the windows around as you see fit and there shouldn't be a need to reset anything. The overwhelming part comes with how Much everything is.
This is a good one about adjusting pen pressure and what the graphs mean. The graph thing was SUPER tricky for me to understand when i was first screwing around with it, but these rules apply across the board when you're screwing with things like brush settings (in pen pressure, size, opacity/ink, etc).
The brushes are super, super customizable. You can access the brush settings by clicking the wrench icon in the bottom right corner of the brush tab. I would recommend making a copy of the brush you're going to fuck with the settings of so you don't lose the default settings of the brush.
The pencil I use for sketching is a modified version of the base pencil. It has a chalk brush tip, the stroke spacing set to 3, and repeat method set to the first one. The fine tuned settings i use are here:
for the black sketch brush i use, it's a modified version of the gouache brush.
(but if you want to dm me, i can send you my discord and i can just send you the download files)
I would also recommend saving any custom brushes in a separate folder as an exported .sut file! if you right click any brush, you can select "export sub tool" and that will save the brush to a whichever folder you set.
Once again, this is by no means a comprehensive breakdown, but I hope it helps! let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to know and I can try to answer

Two things, first, changing my username from testsubjectno02 to asocialmoth since I don't use the former one anymore and to match my name here with my Discord and other accounts. Idk if anyone cares but at the very least this post will serve as a reference for myself on this blog.
Secondly, since I wanted to do something for pride this year I've made this, which I'm also changing for my icon!
Earlier in the year I was thinking of something elaborate, but it was like a week into Pride Month and I realized that any more procrastinating and it'll probably be the end of June, so when I was sketching ideas and made just a little version of myself in a simple blanket/cape thing of the genderfluid flag, I thought it was cute so yeah. Then decided to make it my icon as well cause why not.
I still do not know what to do with my blog's header image though.

To what I was typing earlier on a more serious note, gonna say I wish I turned more badass from everything. Turned pissed off. Turned harden and trying hard to figure things out, find solutions, and actually fucking do them.
Just take things in your own hands and be the most badass shit solving issues taking names being great.
Instead I’m told I used to act like that and then lost it all. Been slowly trying to get back to that but it’s been one hell bad ride. Inverse Dave I guess. Don’t want to be inverse Dave.
Wanna be the badass birb boy.
Can’t do it myself like bird boy can. I mean he’s abled he already had a friend group and even when things went to shit he did still have Rose. He didn’t really do it alone. Just you know.
Shouldn’t be crying over my own weak bullshit as a cripple traumatized by fucking humans and their weirdass social spheres. Just wanting to have fun, make shit, and talk a ton about the shit I touch and let out my thoughts. Maybe get into writing fan fiction. Get more tools and start doing clay sculptures. Get replacement cords and try making my own music.
I don’t fucking even know what I’m saying anymore. Need to get myself not so isolated, that’s for sure. Got like the one fucking friend and xe works so much I barely even see xem, and I try to hang out in like discord servers but it’s really hard to even know how to talk or what to say.
I ain’t some introvert or anything but it’s really easy people not get what I say? So it’s real frustrating at times. I don’t know how to do comedy, my identity is to ribbons so what do I do and say?
All I really got right now is I seems to be one talking blogger. Who sometimes tries to work on making a couple neocities I guess. I don’t know. Don’t really got much going for me right now. Don’t have the support to keep trying tirelessly to find myself and try new things.
What’s that thing people use? Spoon theory? I don’t got a lot in me to do much. Blog typing takes nothing as long as it’s on my desktop. Keyboard just feels so natural. Drawing takes me forever because I’m slow as shit and thus it takes so much spoons. I can take hours just to do a sketch and by that time I’m exhausted and now can’t do anything else.
My thing used to be physical shit but body can’t do it. Don’t have a good wheelchair to really get around either just shit. I don’t know.
Friend really needs to get on that teaching me old internet and how to just chill, make friends, do like the kids in the source. Hang out, have fun, make friends, figure out how to talk. I know I’ll always have this bad disadvantage because I don’t get English jokes and phrases well and keep fucking up doing them myself, don’t touch a lot of media because it takes a lot of effort sometimes.
I’m rambling and shit again. Happy pride I made an icon with 61 damn flags on it because I tried to say fuck it to those who hate tackey shit because I want to be able to just do shit. I just want to do shit!!!! I just wanna exist fucking hell.
I wanna be the badass bird shit. Just doing shit taking names, owing it and saying fuck it.

BUGSNAX COMMISSIONS!!!
Over the past 2 weeks I’ve had some dental trouble that’s going to cost me over £600 for treatment (several fillings and a crown, sob), and while I do have insurance, it wont cover all of it and I will have to foot about £150 of it myself from my savings, so I’m taking bugsnax commissions to try soften the blow as best I can!

The Miraculous Fanworks Discord server's spotlight highlights content creators in the community! Each month, one artist and one writer will have their accounts promoted on our social media accounts.

Darya is a talented artist. From kwamis to cute chibis, she does so much!
We've interviewed her, asking her questions about her fanworks and advice for other artists.
1. How long have you been drawing in general?
I've been drawing since the moment I could hold a pencil, at almost 3 years old. What started as little doodles grew into a passion. I started to experiment and draw professionally when I was 15, and recently began practicing digital art. While, theoretically, I've been drawing for a long time, the process has never been linear as I had to take long breaks for medical reasons. However, I'm always trying my best to improve and make others happy by sharing my works along this creative journey.
2. How long have you been creating for the fandom, and what's your favorite part of the process?
Miraculous was what inspired me to want to learn to draw and improve my artistic skills. I first wanted to recreate the iconic umbrella scene, but couldn't do it justice. This motivated me to keep practicing and experimenting in the hopes of one day improving to where I can say I'm proud of what I made. Even today, I still feel I don't recreate the umbrella scene with justice, but that's okay because I'm still learning! My favorite part of the creative process is the sketching phase, because it’s where I get to explore and experiment my ideas to bring them to life, without needing to worry about making a mess.
3. Has there been anything in particular that influences your style?
Honestly, I am still experimenting with art styles and figuring out my own. I'm a bit self-conscious about not having a definitive style yet, but I remind myself that it just means there's more room for exploration. However, if I were to describe my art style, I would describe it as a blend of Miraculous, Disney Princesses, and various animes.
4. Do you have any advice you'd like to give to other creators?
There's a lot of things I'd love to say to help inspire other artists, but, ultimately, the most important advice I can give is that one should always do their best to overcome the obstacles that come their way. Growing up visually impaired, many people discourage me from pursuing art as both a hobby and a career. They would criticize my art, saying it's flat and add fuel to my self-doubt by saying I should give up since I can't see well enough to create good work. Despite all of that, I kept creating and trying my best to improve my art skills, because nothing and no one should prohibit one's creativity.
5. How do you think the identity reveal is going to go? Feel free to draw something quick if you want to!
I liked to hope that the true identity reveal will be mutual and accidental. However, after everything that's been going on in season 4, I'm not sure anymore. An accidental reveal seems too risky with all the stakes that the show has portrayed thus far. Although, I still remain hopeful that the reveal will be mutual, even if the aftermath won't be all sunshine and rainbows. I'd love to see both Adrien and Marinette grow as individuals and as partners, whether romantic or platonic, after knowing who one another truly is.

I hope your not feeling down on your writing skills because I haven't caught up and commented on your latest releases. It's not you it's that I pick too many fanfics to follow and they all update a lot and I've been so busy and I've fallen behind on so many fics from various authors and sometimes my depression just makes me want to lie in bed all day doing nothing and it doesn't help I have to spend my limited spoons helping family everyday. I know these aren't good excuses, but I do sympathize with the lack of energy feeling at least.
But your work really does bring a lot of joy to my life. It's so fun keeping up with your various AUs, and your latest one that features Kaya as Spider King has me really hyped because I want to learn more about Kaya, she's so fun! And Ruclipse is such a good comfort ship that just hits all the things I like seeing in a ship. You're so amazing and creative and it's awful that anyone would try to make you feel otherwise! Like your newest OC, Justin Tyme seems like such a lovable dumbass bastard. I love his wild, curly hair and his dapper outfit. I can't wait to see what dumb shit he gets himself into!
I know this is really long and rambly, but I hope you know you have fans who genuinely love your work. I don't know if you're still thinking about that one comment you mentioned that got you really down, but honestly, fuck that guy. I don't know what they said but it must have been pure BS to have you doubting your hard earned art skills. I wish I could do more to prove you're awesome and that your fans really admire you, I just hope you don't stop sharing what you love because some rando was nasty for no good reason. Because we love what you do!
It's not like anyone one person nonny so please don't blame yourself. This has been an ongoing thing for a few months actually...
it's just a general thing over all lately like. I mentioned this in dm's with a friend but overall past few months I've had lower engagement overall with my works and it really does a number on my confidence. More so because like your latter point.
yes, I am still very much thinking about that one negative comment. Because that person also has the need to comment on other things and I even had a thing asking why I took a few weeks to update (when reality I posted to another ongoing fic and my TLC chapters are long chapters) and just the fact they could tear into a character (yes it was a comment on a character specifically and not even a main character it's a side character who has an important role for Snatcher's growth as a person down the line) then go saying "why didn't you update" when I posted a double update that week---
Like it lives in my head rent free and I want to literally cry because like the character is a focal in an upcoming chapter and I can't deal with another "why are they back" type thing. because "everyone finds them annoying"
And I'll be honest. it was Kaya. Like I've been trying to have fun with my BCU stuff with her as Spiderking because it's engaging for me and me and @/doodleimprovement even came up with a b-plot involving Kaya and Hattie trying to hook Nell and Marcus together and it's one of the best things as well as Kaya and Nell having a really good relationship.
but because of that one comment it makes me hesitant to do anything with Kaya despite she's one of my oldest ocs, my most thought out ocs and I adore her beyond anything. Like yes she's over powered and such and in TLC rn she comes off as a know it all, but upcoming chapters will show she's just a spacey kid who's trying to fit into a role others decided for her and isn't really as all mighty as she seems. Snatcher even ends up thinking of her as a little sister more than anything. Like fuck I'm even hesitant to share anything on her actual story despite how much work is in it. Like she's my favorite Oc (that's why shes my discord icon, and I'm pretty sure she's my twitter icon as well)
And like the points in the comment just. IDK they didn't fit to her, if anything the points are more suited to be shot at Eclipse.
Which is another thing I just get iffy on. I love RuClipse and everything with it. I love writing and drawing the dorks. But I'm now so afraid if Kaya could be attacked for only showing in a handful of chapters that don't even touch on who she is, when is someone going to finally tell me off on my wolf? who's going to tear into a character I pour a lot of personal shit into to try and comfort myself?
I use Ruclipse to deal with my own romantic heart, they are what I wish I could have so I love to write them, I hurt them but i like to make them happy in the end. Someone who can deal with your highs and lows. No ones perfect but you can still figure it out and love even the negative parts (I am a heavy romantic OTL)
he is in fact a lovable bastard. i have fun plans and he gives me an excuse for why Cel is so tired and having to be the brain cell and how she even wound up working with the time kids when she's so much older than they are. Currently I'm trying to think of how to use him and honestly I think he's gonna wind up hella comic relief fun guy who's just making a mess and do his own side story while Hat and Bow are busy in subcon----
thank you, I don't mind the rambly it kinda gave me a chance to get this off my chest... like I've typed this kinda response up time and time again and I always delete. I feel like I'm whining because I get upset but it's just, I spend so much time making things, I use all my spoons on either working or creating, I just want to know if it means anything but then negativity lives in my head because what's a functioning meat cube??? I try to stay positive but it's hard. Like another thing is Moon Guardian; the reason I haven't updated? because I have had someone bothering me about it. weekly I get asked about how I'm doing on it but it's not from a place of "want to read it" it's because I told them they couldn't post a certain thing until the chapter is done so it feels pressuring to constantly get asked because I feel the only reason they want to post is to boost their thing and I'm just the machine to boost it with my characters and comic.... like it feels they've taken the comic from me and it sucks because I have so many fun things planned. Like I accidentally went off on Nina about a thing with Alpine skyline and Eclipse as well as a thing with a Time Rift and a Jelly ghost.
Sorry kinda went off, just I've sat on this thought train since like early april. I've done my best to ignore it and just keep going but it's gotten really hard with the fact my health hasn't been really great. I've spent a lot of time lately bed bound because I just hurt so badly. if I'm not resting, I'm at my day job which is incredibly stressful rn as I only really work mornings and I see things that are being missed so then i report it and it still gets missed and i can't get it fixed after a point cuz we're back to full service and need the people so I can't nitpick but just.... I'm bitter okay like if I left this shit when I worked I would have gotten yelled at but now we just let it slide??? and this stresses me out which then causes my body to freak out because I'm stressed which puts me in more pain. and then like at work have people acting shocked I have my cane or soemthing and just skfdslkfksdf
so my energy is so tanked. and then the negative comment in my head, no idea if people like things cuz I have no idea if I hear nothing, just has had me doubting why post. Like I should go back to just not posting my stories and sketches or w/e and slink back to my hole like I was before.
idk Its just. a bad night in the house of bun. I've had these thoughts festering and I guess today was the dam breaking. It's probs cuz I'm nervous posting Chimeras because it's a very dark au.

Hello dears, hope your doing well and safe; in the middle of this worldy crisis, may you kept from all the forms of its harm.
It's been awhile I have taken the time to talk, it's a bit of messy rant and stuff I found useful..
I've been too busy with lately, I feel I'm not putting out the tons of idea of hp related stuff I crave to do, wish to take others away with it from the chaos of reality or hope to inspire even by the tiniest measures, and find inspiration and allow it to take me away soaring in its wings..
Art does takes time to make, more importantly, a right or convenient frame of mind to do it. And I haven't been in one of those, tbh.
In any case, I wanted to keep this place, this blog, a safe haven for me and who likes to accompany me, and to share art and thoughts about it. But it seems it gets harder to do so, with life constantly interfering..
It's not the first time I go without net connection for months, it happens all the time because of my unstable life conditions. And I merely used the internet as a way to store my stuff.
But since I found solace, fond company, precious concern, and— actual life, the thought to leave was murdering. I mean, I'm still in awe at the way people reacted when I came just to say goodbye, supported me to stay.. I never knew humanity till now..
Even tho I feel, I have doubts.. if I'm really worth it, keeping me online, I try to do art as fast as possible, but I can't go any faster than days.. and that I wanted to save up for a reliable pc to do much more, now it goes for another bill we can't afford.. not to mention the annoying part about using net for me is that I always have to try as hard as I could not to get anything too obvious leading back to me—so my family wouldn't know about it and get in trouble— but in the same time trying not to be too anonymous so it wouldn't be stolen from me.
It seems it's all pointless, cuz both happened, and I can't help but think that I only harmed myself by splitting my work so much that it keeps leaving me in the shadows without benefits.
Other than that my art was being reposted (not shared, but downloading my art than re-uploading it to another platform without permission); mother saw Older Lover drawing (kissing) and stormed into my room, with a look ready to fry me, and asked me to delete it..
I've been so depressed since then, wishing not to be, to a point I was close to shut down all accounts, as the thought that I can never be free and not able to do something to better myself was smothering me.
But I know things will be better.. I woke up feeling less dead, heh
Like, I found a simple way to stream my art, even tho it's not much:
To log into discord on pc, and go to activity and add your drawing program as a game thingy, it will always detect it as a streamable game afterwards, and show a little button above your icon telling you you're able to stream it. You can go stream it into a server, and up to 10 peeps can watch it.
I was doing everything to do a team thing on twitch, but no luck so far.
Also found a program that speed up long drawing videos, called Oliver. It's free and I love it so far! It enabled me to do mini sketching videos and put them on Tiktok (I like it there only for the easy edit and music) can't do longer vids cuz again, pc has tiny memory.
And if you want to record your art, and using windows:
Push windows +g and Xbox recoding games thingy will show. You make it capture your drawing program and there- got your self easy non crashing screen recording app. One down side to it— no pause. So you'll sit there for an hour or two, and you better know what you'll draw without hesitation, hehe.
I think that's all, it's a result of days of googling and going through lots of free crashing software, I hope it's helps.
And I've decided I'm not splitting my art, safe or suggestive any more. I'll post them all here, and anything not safe will go under the [Read More] underlining thing. Cuz it's a tiring confusing mess on top of everything.

I’m in a super need of money and it feels like I shouldn’t be picky, but I’m still going to give myself the right to decline a commission if it triggers me, or for any reasons really (schedule conflicts, personal stuff, art style requested (I’m ultra bad at realistic art for example so I don’t think it’s fair to you if I’d say yes to that kind of commission. I’m always trying to improve and try out new styles but right now I’m only offering my comic/anime style up for commission)
I’m usually pretty quick when I draw and especially now in the summer when I don’t have to juggle it with school but I would still like to give myself at least a week minimum, or so for each commission (but will probably have it done way sooner, but just to be sure and if something comes up). This might drag itself out to a month even when school starts again. (Also to accommodate art blocks...)
Keep also in mind that if I get more than one commission it’s a “first come - first serve” kinda thing, and I will take the commissions in the order that I get them. So if you are my third commissioner you might need to wait 2 weeks. Probably not, as said I’m pretty quick when I draw but I also want to make sure that I do a good job when I do commissions. Quality over speed!
As the creator, all rights of the art piece stays with me, even if I will send you a version without my sign on it. Please respect that I don’t allow for my art to be resold or distributed on any kind of profit-level (including putting it on mugs and other merch, etc) It’s okay however to use it in backgrounds on YouTube-videos, or as headers/banner, logos and icons for any kind of social media networking to boost your image. I’ve also done a few commissions where the art was meant as a gift to a third person which is an absolutely wonderful idea! The only thing I’d love to see is that you credit me as the artist if you use it.
I’d love to include your commission in my portfolio to showcase my skills for the future, but if you don’t want this than please tell me.
Same goes with posting it on tumblr, insta and twitter to also showcase my art here. Please tell me if you don’t want that, or for example that here on tumblr it’s fine but not anywhere else.
