Splatoon “hyperfixation” week

Sketches and unfinished drawings from the past week. I’m not sure I even want to post these but enhhhh. How do people draw with anything other than a crunchy brush? Crunchy brush hides mistakes, and when resizing, also kind of hides that it’s been resized, unlike smooth pens. Man, I wanna draw so much but drawing is hard. So much I want to draw. So little time/and or motivation when I do bad draw.

I don’t remember if I said this somewhere, tags or alt descriptions ,(I hope those were okay btw) but the Inklings name is Jenny and I use her while playing Splatoon 2. The other guy came out of a Picrew while trying to mess with sona ideas. Skin tones were whack, but I think the dark blue-purple skin looks kind of cool despite that. probably will change that though. I finally beat splatoon 2 story mode and I’m very excited to get the third and I want to play in at least one splatfest before I die, so I hope I get it before they stop updating. I’m always late to every game and it’s hype, man,,, Splatoon four will come out and I’ll get my hands on it like 2 years later.

and so, what can I say about the new series that recently came out? GOD THIS IS AS ALWAYS DIVINE. hmm, jakei tried very hard, like nix, WHICH AGAIN SURPRISES WITH THE MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT OF THE BATTLES, A STRAIGHT MASTERPIECE - I can say a lot of plbs that the series has become more serious, there is no snot, thanks to Ink for correcting Cross’s “straps on the pants”, and thanks to Cross for punching as much as possible to Inku. By the way, I’m very sorry that Frisk and Charu were shown very little... well, that will come later, that’s obvious.

oh, what can I add? It feels like Gaster trolled XGaster, saying something like “your seed will ruin you, lol.” and finally, I’ll say that soon I’ll be DRAWING A LOT OF ART.

put together a quick and dirty 'how i personally translate fiddleford mcgucket's horrible spoon face into a more realistic style' guide for a friend of mine who was having trouble doing the same thing

realized in the process it's hard to explain stuff that is brain-side muscle memory

on the upside i got to dunk on his spoon face so net gain
