For me, what attracted me to your blog was the openness for darker themes and not shying away from the real truth of why Alastor's in Hell. I want to focus on those heavy themes and more on character development (forwards and backwards, negative growth is still, uh, a development ahaha), and shipping isn't a goal in mind, just a conversation and exploration! just know, my friend, that I'm putting every single lucifer blog in my MOUTH (in a good way). Alastor is an absolute menace to ship with and I'm a huge slut for a good slow burn under his aroace cannibal freak lens, but my favorite canon ones for him are radioapple, radiostatic, radiorose, and radiosnake.

but YES I really do like to explore Alastor's darker side and I emphasize a lot that he IS very much a villain character who 100% deserved his lot in Hell - even his Deal with Lilith is really mostly his own doing and while there are sympathetic aspects of him, bro REALLY DID just murder and cannibalize a bunch of innocent people for no reason (or, they were innocent in my Al's case, anyway - he did not have a moral code when selecting his victims, they were just acts of convenience). he's legitimately a terrible person
which makes interactions with characters who sort of either try to make him better or try to make him WORSE both interesting to play with and explore.

At some point in your life you'll realize that pulling all-nighters isn't worth it most of the time and that you can as well just go to sleep and have a good rest instead of feeling miserable in front of that word document while you aren't even physically able to write that another paragraph because your eyes sway to the side, your hands are shaking, your eyelids are heavy and you feel like you might have an out of body experience very soon. Sometimes you need to stay up all night, when your life depends on it (more or less), there are situations for which these type of measures are appropriate and necessary but you gotta ask yourself - is this really worth feeling drained and tired? Is it worth having the days blur and stretch like some sort of never ending purgatory? Nay it is not, hear my words and remember them when the eepyness comes to gather it's daily crops.
#its hard to pull all nighters now when i realize there is literally nothing holding me back from going to bed and sleeping at least 6 hours#i wish i could but my brain is completely altered and any time im not in danger of being screamed at for not doing something on time#i will just. go sleeb. go and rest. cause nothing ill do from that point will be as good as of i did it well reste#d#rambling#also i love sleeping i love that and I don't understand why i have been denying myself this simple pleasure#for sooo long. so long....

#august living#so hey um. if any of yall saw my last vent post#i had a seizure the next day#so. thats a new funky fresh worry that i have#its been a week and im still recovering like on all levels#i. bit my tongue so hard i might have nerve damage like its not bruised anymore but it still feels weird where it was#my chronic pain has a new like snappy feel to sudden jolts of pain#and well everything was super sore for a few days and im still trying to stretch back out#i dont know if it affected my speech worse than any other type of disturbance does but im not making sentances real good rn#obvs also it was physically harder to speak for a few days#but i get tongue tied so fucking easily all the time anyway so its not a unique symptom#god my back hurts in a vry unique way rn tho#lol tho since this was the first one ive had my brother called an ambulance for me and i spent like 6 hours in the er#i have a follow up neurologist appointment next month to go over the test results of the ekg and ct scan and whatever else they did i think#its literally a phone appointment so well see how useful it is#anyway if i have a seizure disorder now im going to be so mad#i cant drive rn and probably wont be allowed to at all if it turns into a recurrence#and just like. if it does turn into a thing that would be such a fucking all around problem#but if it was literally just a one off thing bc im that stressed abt losing my job i rlly gotta get a new one that doesnt stressmeoutasmuch#anyway its way too late i gotta sleeb
