Wondermom
Danny is 15
Diana was not the first person to meet Danny upon his arrival to her earth, in fact she wasn’t even the first themysciran to meet him. Hippolyta was enjoying a walk through the gardens when a massive portal appeared in front of her. She was immediately on guard and ready to strike when a 4 armed giant breached the portal in one of her arms there appeared to be a child. She said “it has been many years since we crossed swords sister, however now is not the time” Hippolyta kneeled before the ancient warrior. “I have come to ask for the aid of your aid and that of your daughter” it’s then that Pandora sets the bleeding child, a young Boy in front of the queen.
“You would bring a man here?!”
“I bring a CHILD here, for healing and guidance. This child has sacrificed everything he had for his people and they BETRAYED HIM!! This child is under MY protection. All I ask from you is his wounds to be healed and that you call upon your daughter, I will make my request of her directly.” The queen reluctantly agreed and called for her guard to take the boy to be treated by magic purple healing ray (real thing). Upon further inspection what appear to be defensive wounds coating his body, burns, bruises, slashes. As if the boy just took the beating. There were no wounds that indicated he fought back.
Diana came to Themyscira 2 days later, when she arrived she was greeted by her mother and lead to the gardens. She asked her mother what was the reason for such an urgent visit. She simply replied that all would soon be explained. When they arrived Diana was greeted by the form of a giant. When she recognized her she kneeled and greeted the warrior.
“There is no need for such formalities, especially consider the favor I have come to ask.” Diana rose and it was then she noticed the young boy sleeping in the giantess’ arms, she smiled and said
“This child goes by the name Daniel and he is a child of life and death, a perfect balance, and he fought hard to protect his mortal home. He sacrificed everything he had to help them and successfully managed to bring peace between his realms. Or so he thought, young Daniel was betrayed by his mortal parents. It has been some time since I began to see him as my own, however he is a child of BOTH realms and he needs a living mother that can help him meet his needs.” Pandora looked down at him with a sad look
“He needs to live his life just as he has accepted his death, this is the favor I ask of you Diana, daughter of Hippolyta, princess of Themiscyra, that you help guide Daniel in this world, where I cannot.”
Diana says that she has many responsibilities in the world of man, and many more enemies. Pandora smiled, “you’ll find that Daniel is more than capable of defending himself. He would often join me for training when he could the time. I’m sure he would enjoy sparing with you if you would like.”
Diana smiled “I am honored you would consider me for this task and I would be honored.”
Pandora gave a wide smile “there are some things you should know, while I will allow him to inform you of his abilities at his own disclosure, I would ask that you not pressure him to join you in you duties as a member of the justice league, he has fought hard for peace and the decision to rejoin that fight is up to him and him alone. Along with this you should know that this child has many powerful ally’s so if he mentions anyone… concerning, just be aware that ALL of his friends only have the best intentions for him.” At this Pandora gave an almost nervous grin “and finally I should warn you he is quite…. Mischievous. Be careful leaving him unattended he seems to attract chaos”
At this she turned to the young boy, Daniel, and woke him from his sleep, “Daniel, it’s time to wake up, there’s someone I want you to meet.” The boy woke as he was set on the ground, now that he was standing it appeared he was older than she originally thought, but no matter she made a promise. “This is the person I was telling you about, this is Diana, known to the world of men as Wonder Woman, she will be taking care of you from now on.”
“I’ve told you before, please just call me Danny. Cant I just stay with you? I can help in the labyrinth, making sure no one can steal your box.” Pandora smiled sadly “there is nothing I would like more, but you need the living just as much as you need the dead.”
Danny sighed “will I at least be able to visit you and dad?” Pandora give a sweet smile and says “practice your portals and you can visit me anytime you like”
Danny smiled and hugged Pandora one last time before turning to Diana with a sheepish look on his face “looks like your stuck with me for now, I’ll try not to get in you’re way” Diana smiled back at him the two of them headed to the invisible jet and with one last wave goodbye they took off to the world of men.
When they finally arrived, Diana showed him around the apartment and told him that they’d take a tour around the city later if he felt up to it. Danny seemed out of it the whole time. When they were done eating Diana asked Danny to wait a minute before he went to bed. She sat him down and talked to him about how she understood some of what he was going through, leaving home going to what felt like a whole new world, losing friends along the way. That if he ever needed to talk she was there.
The first week living with Diana was rough, they bought new clothes and other things for Danny, when they went to have Danny’s papers done they discovered everything was already taken care of, so they went school searching and managed to find a nice school near the museum Diana worked at (pretty sure this is canon not positive) things settled for a bit.
It was after Diana was fighting some villains that were using advanced weaponry and wore white costumes that she found Danny curled up in a corner having a panic attack. It took almost an hour for him to fully calm down enough to explain what was wrong. And before he knew it he had told her everything, about the GIW, about his parents, about how they cornered him, and hit him with SOMETHING that forced him to change back and how when he did… they didn’t believe him. He was in tears by the end of it and Diana held him tight, she was enraged at what happened to him but she refused to make him afraid of her as well.
After their heart to heart the two of them grew closer and every now and they would spar and Danny would slip and call Diana mom, eventually just giving in. He had flourished in his time with her, he picked up engineering at school and seemed to have a talent for it so much so that he was offered him a scholarship. Her heart filled with joy seeing how much he was flourishing. Danny started to ask questions about her work as a hero, though never asking to join, he seemed invested in her fights and even came up with pretty good strategic advise. It was about this time that a certain team of protégés broke into Cadmus labs and freed the clone of Superman.
Diana saw an opportunity with the team and after speaking with the rest of the league, she asked Danny if he would like to join. Danny was reluctant as he didn’t want to get back into the hero business, but Diana suggested that instead of a position on the front lines he could provide support from the sides. Providing intel and strategies. Reluctantly he agreed and he was introduced to the team.
The team is weary of him and honestly he creeps M’gann out in the beginning, he just kept staring when he thought no one was looking. She brought it up with the team and they were going to confront him. Before they got the chance however he confronted HER, and by confront I mean he nervously approached her asking I he could ask her a question she said yes. What happened next none of them predicted. The quiet loner who kept to himself asked her about mars and after she answered the question they kept coming question after question, they talked for almost 2 hrs just about mars. M’gann tells the rest of the team that it’s all fine it was all just a misunderstanding and the two of them start hanging out, this leads to another misunderstanding. See now the team thought the 2 were dating. Conner was not okay with this arrangement but didn’t say anything. Surprisingly enough Kaldur got stricter with the two as well. Enough so that Danny and Kaldur started to butt heads during down time.
It annoys the hell out of Danny and he complains to his mom saying that “it’s not fair that someone so cute can be so aggravating” Diana laughs at his plight and questions why he doesn’t just ask Kaldur out to which Danny scoffs and says something along the lines of he’s so out of my league he might as well be on mars. At some point Danny leaves for about a week to visit his time dad and tall mom along with all his other friends. When he comes back Conner and M’gann have started dating, but haven’t told anyone. He still hangs out with M’gann but now Conner hangs out with him too. Absolutely no one, Diana was expecting the bombshell when he casually mentioned he had a clone too her name was Dani with an “I” honestly not everyone believed him. Kaldur stands up for him and says that Danny is many things but he is not a liar, making Danny blush green. This did not go unnoticed be Diana.
(To everyone’s surprise and shock Dani shows up a week later raids the fridge and disappears, Danny just laughs and says yeah she does that sometimes)
Eventually things come to a head when Kaldur and Danny get into a loud argument in a side room after a mission. Wally starts taking bets on wether or not they are gonna kill each other when they hear Kaldur start shouting in Atlantean, there is a full 45 secs of silence before Danny yells back in fluent Atlantean. There is silence for a good five minutes before they ask M’gann to check on them, so ,worried, she agrees pokes her head through and comes right back. She is blushing like crazy and refuses to explain, only stating that they stopped fighting and that they should leave NOW.
Diana couldn’t be prouder though she wasn’t sure whether she was happy or disappointed she didn’t have to resort to the lasso.

Young Justice: Deathly Weapons
Crossover: Danny Phantom x Young Justice Season 1 Gen | Slowburn Mystery + Episodic Missions | Ongoing
A business agreement. A small-town hero, on the run and struggling. A danger few people even believe is real. When an unexpected face intervenes on a mission gone wrong, the Boy Wonder begins to realise that there's more to the story. And what started out as a hunt for answers draws the Team into a more complex web than any of them could have seen coming.
This long-fic is fully planned out and structured in “episode” blocks.  Arc/Mission summaries under the cut:
Prologue For Humanity as a Whole
On the surface the meeting would seem to be quite above board.
Act I Part 1 Chance Encounters ∙ Shadow of Doubt ∙ Scars ∙ Phenomenon ∙ Ghost Stories ∙ Brave Faces ∙ Expectations ∙ Questions ∙ Interference
When the not-yet Team encounter a mysterious figure in the bowels of Project Cadmus, Robin files it away as a curiosity.  When the same figure intervenes months later to save him, Aqualad and Artemis on a mission gone wrong, the Boy Wonder knows he has to investigate.  Meanwhile, far from where it all began, a travel-hardened half-ghost is struggling to keep his head above water.
Act I Part 2 Social Commentary ∙ Trade Secrets ∙ Answers ∙ Propositions
So many questions, so few answers.  The Dynamic Duo hoped that playing by his terms might coax cooperation from the stubborn fugitive they found.  Now, with time ticking on and danger drawing near, the Boy Wonder considers a more direct approach.  The question is: can Robin risk putting all his cards on the table?
Act II Part 1 Constants ∙ Roads to Safe Places
Dick adjusts to having a new face around the Manor.  Meanwhile, Danny wrestles with the idea of putting down roots so far from home.
Act II Part 2 Second Impressions ∙ Assessment
The Team is getting a new member, and it’s one some of them have already met.  Being able to walk through walls, disappear and fly are handy powers for a stealth-squad to have, but not everyone is eager to welcome a ghost to the group.
Act II Mission 1 Black Gold
High seas and high stakes!  Learning to work with a new Teammate always comes with challenges, but when eco-terrorists commandeer a deep-water oil rig, the pressure has never been greater.  With lives on the line and fingers twitching on triggers, will Phantom’s powers let them swim… or sink?
[Under construction ↓]
Act II Mission 2 Flashpoints ∙ Combustion ∙ Reagents ∙ Equilibrium
Phantom has proved his worth in combat but some of the Team remain unconvinced.  A simple investigation into a potential Venom competitor could be a chance to clear the air, but with resentment simmering, Aqualad can’t help feeling like they’re burning more bridges than crossing them.  Can Robin and Phantom get through to Kid Flash before things fall apart?
Act II Mission 3 Something Wicked ∙ This Way Comes
Batman and Commissioner Gordon make a breakthrough on Phantom’s case. Meanwhile a security detail on some mystic artefacts brings the Team face to face with a foe from the ghost’s past.
Act II Mission 4 Rituals ∙ Ill-lit Ships ∙ Withered Red Rose
An unusual energy spike on the Watchtower’s sensors sends the Team to investigate the mountains of Rhelasia, where the young heroes must intervene to stop a familiar cult from completing a mysterious ceremony.  Afterward, a passing comment from Phantom gives Kaldur a lot to think about.
Act II Mission 5 In the Mists
Superboy worries about an upcoming meeting, while a radio call draws the Team back to the developing Gorilla settlement in Bwunda. Out in the jungle, the young heroes will need to have all their wits about them: something dangerous stalks the forest and night comes swift between the trees.
Act II Interlude China and Emeralds
It’s an important anniversary for Danny, and Dick is determined that he won’t spend it alone. Meanwhile, the Team looks back on the journey so far, and Conner gets a visitor.
Act II Mission 6 Enemy Lines ∙ Humans
Sightings of new weapons in enemy hands have Batman and the Team concerned that another smuggling ring has started under General Eiling’s nose.  After a distressingly close shave, M’gann tries to learn more about her newest Teammate.
Act II Mission 7 Bitter Reunions ∙ Half-truths
Clues are falling into place and the Dark Knight does not like it. The young heroes face a tense mission as Robin and Phantom take the lead on investigating a potential link between two powerful enemies. What they find could be the key - not only to Phantom’s troubled past but to everything the Team has seen over the last few months. It’s time for secrets to come into the light.
Act II Mission 8 Into the Breach ∙ Séance
Armed with new information, the Team is eager to act. A recon sweep over the Bermuda Triangle feels like a diversion, but in a region infamous for strange sightings, not everything is as it seems. Danger awaits on a secret island, and grim news from old friends reveals the full scope of the enemy’s plan.
Act III Mission 9 The Other Side ∙ Alliance ∙ Mirrors ∙ Coordinates
Our heroes now understand what the Light aim to do, and they aren’t going to wait for a theme song.  There are preparations to make, allies to find and a dire warning that needs to be delivered.  Phantom has learned to work in the Team’s world.  Now they must enter his.
Act III Mission 10 Rifts
Chaos erupts as the Light make their move.  Will the Team and League’s preparations be enough to weather the storm… or will they be overwhelmed by sheer force?
Act III Mission 11/ Conclusion Checkmate ∙ Stalemate ∙ Pawns ∙ Covenants ∙ Family Matters ∙ All Good Things
The threat has been contained, but the heroes know they must take down the snake’s head before it can strike again.  Supported by his Team, Phantom returns to Wisconsin with a plan to catch Plasmius for good.  But Vlad is keeping even more secrets than he seems, and a last reveal leaves Danny facing one final, terrible choice.

Halfas and Heroes PI
Summary: during a recon mission at a new Cadmus facility in Amity Park, Dick gets into an accident. Only to find out later he has ghost-like powers. And the only person who can help a half-ghost, is another half-ghost.
Notes: requested by @letsdannyphandom. This is a crossover  between Young Justice and Danny Phantom. Other notes at the end of this chapter.
Words: 3k
Warning(s): violence and a little bit of gore.
It was a recon mission. That was all it was. A normal recon mission that would have ended with the team running away from an explosion or something with a few cuts and bruises to show.
until it suddenly wasn’t.
If Robin, Dick, knew what was going to happen later that day, on that mission, he wondered to himself if he would’ve still taken it. It had begun simple enough, with Batman coming to Mount Justice and giving the team a mission...
“It will be strictly recon. No interaction. Get in, get out, and report back as soon as possible. You will be heading into a new Cadmus facility that just opened up. And with the previous history with Cadmus, you will be going in and finding out everything you can about it. Is that understood?”  Batman’s gravelly voice echoed throughout the mountain.
“Yeah, yeah, so just the normal stuff then?” Kid Flash snarked.
Batman glared at the young speedster, who gulped. He still could never get used to the Bat-glare.
“Yes. We understand.” Kaldur said, sending a look to Kid. “Do we know what they are researching?”
“More clones?” Robin asked.
“Strangely, no.” Batman said as he pulled up a slide on the holoscreen, which showed an image of green energy stored in a high tech containment unit, with data info appearing next to it. “It appears to be that Cadmus has decided to train it’s focus on something other than cloning. Thanks to a new investor, they’ve decided to widen their research. First with cloning, now with ecto-energy.”
“Ecto-energy?” Artemis asked.
“Ectoplasm.”
“So like ghosts. Seriously? Cadmus believes in ghosts?” Kid joked, but when he saw the look on Bats’ face, he instantly shut up.
“When an organization as powerful as Cadmus decides to investigate and research something that may seem like fiction, it’s never a wise decision to write it off as that. Now suit up, you’re heading out now.”
The screens shut off and Batman left, leaving the team to get ready.
The ride on the bioship was quiet for the most part as they flew to the small city of Amity Park, the place where the new facility was located. It was on the outskirts of the city, so hopefully the team wouldn’t too much attention when a camouflaged alien ship flew over their skyscrapers. Batman had said to Dick before that he had his suspicions about Amity Park and it’s ongoings.
There was an incident a few years ago when the entire city vanished off the face of the earth and hadn’t reappeared till a few days later. It was everywhere on the news. Nobody knew what happened and when the locals tried to explain to them that it was because of a ghost invasion, the reporters dismissed them and shrugged it off as some sort of hallucinogen. But a hallucinogen that could convince an entire city that ghosts exist and had taken over their town? Even that was a little far fetched in theory for the League. But then again, you never know. There were even rumors about a ghost superhero in the city, who fought off evil ghosts. But many of the rumors contradicted each other, some saying that he was a hero who fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves, and others said that he was a menace who needed to be contained. So before Robin left for the mission, Batman pulled him aside and told him to look out for anything suspicious, and to have the camera inside his mask recording the whole time. He was obviously gonna go over the footage later when he got back from the mission.
But for now, Wally was trying to make some jokes about the whole Cadmus-believing-in-ghosts thing, but he wasn’t able to get a laugh out of anyone. Maybe a smirk out of Dick, but that was about it. They had arrived at the coordinates just when Kid was trying to think up of a pun with ‘ectoplasm’, so far he had nothing, and the team hoped that he would never find one.
They exited the bioship and activated their stealth suits while M’gann created the mental link with everyone.
Link established her voice echoed inside of everyone’s heads.
Good. Kaldur “said”. Robin, M’gann see if you can sneak into the ventilation shafts and hack into the security measures and find us a way inside. Once you lower the defenses, give us a two minute window and then raise them again. Hopefully, it’ll seem like a blip on their security feeds and it’ll be ignored.
On it. Robin said before disappearing into the forest they had landed in. M’gann pulled up her hood and instantly camouflaged with the shrubbery before following the Boy Wonder. She actually had no idea where Robin was, she couldn’t see him. The only way she knew where he was, was because of the mental link, guiding her to the place he was hiding. She followed the mental trail till she exited the forest and saw the bright outline of a small white building. Robin still nowhere in sight.
There’s a vent on the west side of the building. That’s our entrance point. Think you can bust it open? Robin said.
M’gann turned around and saw her teammate standing beside her, looking as if he was there the entire time.
Oh, yeah the Martian replied. They turned and walked to the other side of the building, Robin keeping a lookout for the security cameras the whole time, telling when to move or when to stop, staying vigilant the entire time for henchmen with guns or any other kind of weapon. They finally found the vent on the west side of the building and M’gann raised her hand, carefully removing the screws that kept it in place. Once it was off and the vent was open, Robin pulled out his grapple gun and shot at the opening, pulling himself up to the vent while M’gann flew.
Once inside, M’gann became visible again and Robin crawled forward a bit before stopping and pulling up the holoscreen on his gauntlets. He began hacking into the cameras and any other kind of security measures, with the little Robins on the screen turning red to green.
Alright, you guys are on the two minute timer.
Copy that. Kaldur replied. Robin shut off his holoscreen and continued to crawl through the vent, M’gann following right behind him, as they tried to find an empty room to drop into.
“Here.” the Martian whispered to the Boy Wonder as they came up to another vent opening. Robin took out what looked like to be the Bat equivalent of a swiss army knife and began to unscrew the screws around the vent. Carefully removing them and opening the vent, he dropped down onto the floor without a sound while M’gann hovered over the floor before landing silently on the linoleum as well.
Let’s go He said.
The door opened easily and the two heroes slipped into the hallway without anyone knowing that they were there. Robin pulled up the security footage on his gauntlets again, checking to see where the rest of the team was coming in. While he had put the footage on a loop for the guards, he actually had the live feed from the cameras, which showed Kid Flash and Superboy sneaking in from the roof and Kaldur and Artemis sneaking in through the backdoor.
A smirk appeared on the boys face.
Cameras coming back online in five, four, three, two, one.
The camera feed fritzed for a split second, signalling that Robin had lost his control over the cameras. He still had live footage, but he couldn’t do anything about it now. This Cadmus facility had better security than the first one. Which was surprising.
Alright, now that the cameras are back online, we can’t afford to be seen by any of them. Kaldur said.
Got it. Kid said.
Which means we can’t exactly meet up. We’re gonna have to investigate the floors on our own. Said Robin.
I agree. The Atlantean said.
Kid Flash and I have the third floor.
Me and Kaldur will take the first floor then.
And me and Robin have the second.
Robin, think you can hack into the camera feeds again? Kaldur asked.
Not really, Robin thought I have a live feed, but I can’t do much. This Cadmus facility has a lot more security measures than the last one. Probably because we were able to infiltrate it. The most I could do is delay the feed or maybe freeze it all together. But if I freeze it, I don’t know how long it’ll take for them to notice. We would have a few minutes at most.
A few minutes is better than none. Artemis said.
True. Alright then, freezing the feed in three, two, one.... Done.
Let’s go Kid Flash thought before zooming from one room to the other.
M’gann and Robin headed for the first door they saw and opened it to see that it was a lab of sorts. Just their luck. They shuffled through the papers and documents and Robin took samples of the strange green fluid they found in vials, going as fast as they could. They had no problems until suddenly red lights started flashing and wailing filled the air. Everyone heard Connor grunt in pain at the sound of the din.
Uh, guys? Looks like they noticed. Kid said
Yeah, kinda figured. Artemis sarcastically said at him in return.
Robin heard the sound of heavy footsteps in the hallway and quickly pocketed the vials he had and pulled out two birdarangs in their place as M’gann shifted into camouflage mode again.
Hiding by the sides of the doors, Robin and M’gann held their breath hoping that the guards would leave without knowing they were ever there. If only they had.
“They’re in here!” one man shouted, his voice muffled. The door was suddenly kicked down by a black boot, which was attached to a man dressed in all black, including a strange white visor that covered his face. Robin jumped into action, kicking the man in the gut and punching the visor, shattering it.
There were six guards total in the hallway, all dressed exactly the same as the first one, who all had these strange looking guns in their hands. They were white with silver accents and a bright green tip, which glowed.
Robin threw the birdarangs, each hitting it’s intended mark, as M’gann came out from behind the wall, throwing three of the guards against the wall telekinetically.
“There it is!” One of the guards shouted as he raised his ‘gun’ at M’gann and began shooting like a madman. The is only thing just as bad as a trained marksman, and it was a trigger-happy amatuer. Which this guard clearly was. M’gann flew out of the way, dropping her camo and doing her best to avoid the shots that were fired at her, putting all of her focus into her telekinesis and not getting shot. Meanwhile Robin stayed focused on the thugs he was fighting, and occasionally threw a birdarang at their guns, knocking them out of the guards hands’. One of them was proving to be a nuisance, seeing as no matter how hard Robin hit him, he kept coming back up. The guard had been able to pin Robin’s arms to his side as he held him in a strong grip, and as Robin struggled to get out of it, the guard strained to say something to him.
“Why the hell are you helping that thing? It’s just using you. It doesn’t care about you at all. As soon as you lose your usefulness, it’ll kill you.”
Robin headbutted the guard, breaking his visor, and revealing part of his face. He leaped away from the guard and took up a fighting stance.
“What the hell are you talking about?” he hissed at the man.
“It’s a ghost you idiot kid. It’s only manipulating you for it’s own gain.”
Robin shook his head and smirked. “You’re crazy.” He threw another birdarang at the man, who ducked out of the way. He ran up to Robin, grabbed his arm, and threw him over his shoulder into the lab. When Robin landed, he heard the sound of glass shattering and felt something wet covering his whole body.
Robin! M’gann yelled out in the mental link.
Ugh, oh no. Robin thought to himself as he got up. He thought he was covered in his own blood, but in reality, he had been thrown into the dozens of glass vials that held the ectoplasm. The Boy Wonder looked down at his arms to find the green goo covering his arms and a few cuts here and there, his blood mixing with the ghostly substance. That can’t be good. He thought.
He turned up to look at his opponent, who had a look of rage blazing in his eyes, and he saw that he had a pair of escrima sticks, sparking with electricity. Robin tried to move, picking himself up off of the ground and slipped into a shaky fighting stance. The man scowled.
“You’re a fool, boy.” he growled.
“NO!” M’gann shouted throwing every guard against the wall and knocking them all unconscious. Then everything seemed to slow down, as if time was moving at a slugs pace.
The guard hitting the wall dropped his sticks, still sparking with voltages of high electricity.
They clattered to the floor and slowly rolled over to the growing pool of ectoplasm. Which Robin was still standing in.
He watched as the tip touched the pool, and then everything went to hell.
The last thing Dick remembered was the sound of screaming and the feeling of immense pain shooting through his body. It felt as if he was being pulled apart, pushed together, ripped to pieces, and being stitched back together again all at the same time. He vaguely heard the sound of someone yelling his name, but he couldn’t remember. The boy hero collapsed on the floor, his body still spasming. He felt someone’s arms wrap around him and a comforting presence fill his mind before he was enveloped in darkness.
M’gann didn’t know what she saw. Nor what to do. She could only watch in frozen horror as her friend was electrocuted. His screams piercing their way into her mind, and M’gann knew in that moment that she would forever be haunted by the sound of those screams.
He collapsed on the ground, Robin’s body still spasming from the shock, and the young Martian didn’t hesitate to rush to his aid. She cast aside the escrima sticks and knelt next to Robin, her knees and cape staining from the sticky ectoplasm on the ground, and wrapping her arms around the boy. She could feel the pain coming from him and so she entered his mind, careful to avoid anything that was related to his identity, and she took the pain away. Replacing it with a comforting blanket of numbness and putting him into a deep sleep.
Tears pricked at M’gann’s eyes. But she willed them to remain in her eyes, she couldn’t lose it now. Not when Robin needed her help.
We need to get Robin out of here. Now. she said to the others. They had all heard the screams and felt the pain that the Boy Wonder felt, and they had all been shocked into silence. Kid Flash most of all.
They were all shaken out of their trance at the sound of M’gann’s ‘voice’, and had begun to make their way out. Except for Kid, who ran down to the second floor and reached the lab M’gann and Robin were in. When he saw the pool of ectoplasm, dried blood, and blackened skin on Robin, he felt like he was going to throw up. Who could ever see their best friend like this?
“Kid!” M’gann shouted at him! Wally was shaken out of his haze and his eyes focused on the Martian girl.
“Get him back to the ship! Run as fast as you can!” The speedster nodded and in a flash, Robin and Kid Flash were gone. Leaving M’gann by herself.
“Come on, buddy. Please stay with me.” Wally whispered to his friend as he ran through the building. He came across a couple of guards, but instead of fighting them and knocking them out, he ran between them. He couldn’t waste any time, not when his friend’s life was on the line. Soon enough, he was out of the facility and in the forest. The bioship came into sight and Wally let out a small breath of relief.
As if sensing the urgency of the situation, the ship opened its doors and released it’s camouflage, allowing Wally to rush inside. He placed Dick on a table that the ship had created, just when the rest of the team rushed in.
In no time at all, the bioship was in the air, flying fast to Happy Harbor, Rhode Island and to Mount Justice.
While the rest of the team sat in their chairs, glancing over at Dick from time to time, Wally stood next to him the entire trip. He took off his cowl and sat down in a makeshift chair the ship had created. He just didn’t understand how this could’ve happened to his best friend. He looked at Dick again, and finally saw the changes that he didn’t see before. It was subtle, but other than the dried blood and ectoplasm sticking to his skin and the blackened areas around his mask, Dick’s normal pitch black hair had gained streaks of white in it. It was an odd thing to see, yet nothing else had changed about his appearance. But if Wally knew anything about lab accidents, it was that usually appearances can be deceiving. And if something did happen to Dick in that lab, Wally knew that no matter what, it was still his friend, and nothing would change between them.
It was a vow that Wally took as he stared at his friend lying unconscious on the table. The young speedster looked down at the ground, a feeling of uselessness overcoming him.
“Please, be okay.”
Notes: i know, i know, this chapter isn’t as good as it could’ve been. But i did have fun writing it, and i hopefully will upload the next chapter soon. Depends on how much school work i have though.
Also, i figured out that each halfa we see on Danny Phantom, minus Dani, was somehow able to get there powers through the combination of electricity and ectoplasm. First with Vlad and the ghost portal prototype in college, and second with Danny in the actual Ghost Portal. So i figured that a combo of those two things, would allow Dick to get his ghost powers. And if you’re wondering why his hair isn’t completely white, like with Danny and Vlad, well, you’ll just have to wait on that explanation.
Then there’s the guards thinking that M’gann was a ghost. I actually really like that.
Please leave comments and reblog. Until next time!
