frank castle & your birthday

frankie strikes me as someone that is a hopeless romantic at heart, and I feel like his love language is physical touch but also acts of service. I think we've seen that he pays a huge attention to detail, so he might not go like all out for your birthday, especially if he knows you prefer something small and intimate, but he would definitely make sure it felt special

he would probably start by taking you to your favorite coffee shop, getting you a little birthday breakfast treat with your coffee, and it would probably be the one time he doesn't criticize your drink order (he definitely thinks plain black coffee is real coffee) or comment on how much espresso you added to it (i'm on that pedro pascal shit myself, & I know the only time frankie wouldn't give me shit about it is my birthday bc he's legally required to be extra nice that day)

"you're gonna be hoppin' around like the goddamn energizer bunny with all that. it's your day though. get what you want, sweetheart."

he would insist that you sit down at one of the cute little tables so you can enjoy your coffee and little breakfast together, while you try to get hints from him about what he has planned (he'd resist as long as he could but it's really hard for him to say no to you)

I could see him taking you to do something that you had been begging him to do for awhile. something he kept putting off, or there wasn't time, or he acted like he didn't wanna go, but really he was just saving it for your special day. maybe a trip to an art museum, the aquarium, some botanical gardens, or the zoo even

or maybe a romantic stroll through central park. he'd bring a blanket and your favorite book, let you cuddle up in his lap as he read to you, play with your hair and point out all the cute dogs you saw to each other

even though he'd already gotten your birthday gifts weeks ago, he'd take you to your favorite store and let you pick out anything you wanted

"what? i'm not allowed to spoil my girl on her birthday? if that's a crime, it sure ain't the worst one i've ever committed."

as far as the evening, I see it going two ways: frankie either makes a reservation at your favorite restaurant and invites your closest friends and family to keep it intimate, or he surprises you with a special dinner he cooked himself (your favorite meal) along with a homemade birthday cake (it might not be the prettiest, but it would be delicious) because we know frankie can throw down in the kitchen

if you went out for dinner, he would insist on giving you your gifts & card at home because they're special and sentimental and he's shy when it comes to things like that, and he likes it better when those moments just consist of the two of you

if you had dinner at home, he would roll his eyes when you begged him to sing you happy birthday, but he would oblige because he can't tell you no

"alright, fine. but you're patchin' up your own ears when they start bleedin'. you know I can't sing for shit."

he would ask you several times throughout the day if you were having a good birthday, because he wants to make sure that you are because he thinks you deserve nothing less than as close to perfection as he can provide

he'd also continuously tell you how pretty he thought you were and how much he loved you and how lucky he felt to get to spend your special day with you

I could see him putting your favorite song on and asking you to slow dance with him in the living room to it, drawing out every single minute of your birthday all the way up to 11:59 and making sure you spent every second of it feeling loved and special

Taehyung shakes the neatly wrapped box.

“What is it? It’s so heavy”, he says.

“Just open it”, you say, grinning knowingly.

“Okay, god this is so exciting”, Taehyung says, turning his attention to opening the present you got for him.

You were nothing but friends being roommates once. Twelve months ago to be exact. You were still roommates these days, but changed the friends status to happily dating. And it is awesome. Living together for such a long time before finally falling for each other makes all of this so easy and so right. You know his worst quirks and Taehyung knows yours. You learned how to communicate and how to run a household together even before you became lovers and now every day feels like the easiest piece of cake with him. It is also so comforting to know that he will always be your friend. Love feels so right when it’s based on friendship, you realised that much whenever you can be silly with him and he matches your energy instead of looking at you weird. Truly, he feels so incredibly right.

It was your anniversary today. One whole year together. It may sound like a lot to a few people, but you both know that it was only the beginning.

You each got presents for the other. Taehyung got you this one specific and super expensive superhero playing card set. You’ve been dreaming of it ever since last year of college. You love it so, so much and plan on looking at it at least once a day.

You got Taehyung one of his dreams as well, burning up in excited anticipation of when he finally sees it.

Taehyung places the ripped paper aside, sneaking a glance at you over the frame of his glasses. It’s a brown cardboard box with nothing on it.

"Open it", you stress, bouncing on the sofa in excitement.

Taehyung looks back at the box and finally opens it.

"No."

"Yes.

"No."

"Yes."

"Darling", he squeaks out, looking at you with teary eyes.

You giggle.

"And? Do you like it?"

"How did you even get that? Oh my god, this is, is everything I ever dreamt of."

"I know", you say, scooting closer to wipe his tears.

"I love you", he says, leaning in for a kiss.

"I love you too", you tell him once he pulled back again to look back into the box.

He begins giggling like crazy, wiggling on the sofa in a happy dance while his hands take out the present.

Handcrafted kneepads with comfortable straps and a good hold. You had to sneakily take measurements of his knees for it. Thankfully Taehyung is out cold once he sleeps.

And puppy mitts. Black leather and with a white puppy paw print at the front. Taehyung dreamt of them ever since he became a puppy player, but never got them because of how expensive this certain model was.

"I can't believe you got them. They’re my dream mittens", he says, hugging them to his chest and rocking them as if they were a baby. He rests his cheeks on them, giggling cutely.

"You're so cute", you say, melting in fondness. He deserves all the happiness in the world.

Taehyung drops them but only so he can fling himself around you, attacking your face with a million kisses. The momentum of his attack forces you to fall, back hitting the sofa. You laugh, eyes squeezed shut so he doesn’t accidentally kiss your eyeball in his aggressive display of love.

"I love you. I love you. I love you", he chants between his kisses.

“I love you too”, you say between giggles and with your heart racing like crazy. That is exactly why you love giving him presents. His happiness in contagious and you hope it never ever ends.

Taehyung reaches for the kneepads once his love attack stops. He runs his fingers over the material, eyes sparkling most ardently.

“Do you like them?” you ask him, “I thought they could be useful because you always say that your knees hurt after crawling around.”

“I love them”, he says, hugging them against his chest, “they’re gonna be so helpful, but oh my god”, he drops them, reaching for his puppy mitts, “I have to say that this is my favourite. I can’t believe you got them for me”, he says, kissing them before hugging them as tightly as possible.

“I expected you to say that”, you say, caressing his thigh, “you’re so cute. Do you wanna put them on?”

“Yes, yes wait but wait”, he stumbles off the sofa, “I wanna get the full gear”, he babbles already running off, “wait”, he stops, looking at you with big eyes, “can I get the full gear? I think I’ll fall into puppy headspace when I do. Do you consent to that?” he makes sure, looking oh so hopeful and shy.

“Of course I do. That sounds like fun”, you assure him.

“Okay, okay”, he says and squeaks, running off after doing a little jump.

You can hear his footsteps run back to you after a few moments of silence. He almost stumbles over his own feet from how excited he is running, holding his leash and collar and his puppy ears.

“I’ve got everything”, he says, dropping in front of you on his knees. He places his gear on your lap, finding his waiting position afterwards.

You chuckle, “don’t you wanna put on the kneepads first?”

“Oh yeah”, he blushes, “I have them now, don’t I?”

“You do, yeah”, you smile.

“Okay, okay I gotta put them on. Oh my god, I can’t breathe, this is the best day of my life”, he babbles as he scurries to put the kneepads on. He is so excited that he slips them on over his sweats.

“And?” you ask him.

“Really comfortable, I like how they feel”, he says, dropping on the floor, “oh wow okay. This is amazing, holy moly. My knees don’t hurt anymore”, he giggles again, hiding his face between your thighs as he hugs your legs, “thank you so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you”, his voice is muffled by your lap.

“You’re so cute”, you say, ruffling his soft hair.

Taehyung lifts his head again. His glasses are just slightly tilted from burying his face in your thighs. You reach out to fix them, caressing his cheek afterwards.

“My good puppy”, you whisper, watching how Taehyung’s eyes soften as his mind very slowly shifts into his favourite headspace.

He grumbles happily, widening his eyes to appear cuter.

“Can I put the ears on you?” you ask him.

Taehyung nods his head, tilting it afterwards to make it easier for you to clip them into his hair. You work carefully, making sure not to accidentally tug on his hair. Taehyung plans on getting a full puppy hood one day, but for now he really loves the ears. The puppy hoods feels and looks so sexy to him and he is still a little unsure if he can be such a puppy. You always assure him that his insecurities aren’t real and that he would look amazing in the hood, but you know not to pressure him. Besides, Taehyung looks so adorable in his puppy ears that you can’t ever get enough of them. They also look so real. It’s remarkable really, that once you put them on correctly and his fluffy hair hides the little clips, it really looks as if Taehyung possesses over two very fluffy and floppy puppy ears.

Today is no different. He looks like a completely different person once those ears are on. He looks happier, cuter, more handsome and all in all like your bestest boy.

“Look at you”, you say, petting his head right between his ears, “you’re such a handsome boy.”

Taehyung wiggles his hips, letting out a little happy growl as he nudges your palm with his head. Giggling, you bury your fingers deeper, scratching him right behind his puppy ear.

His happy little noises motivate you to scratch him even better, using your other hand to scratch him right behind his real ear. He’s so sensitive there. Shivers run down his spine, skin prickling like crazy.

“My handsome boy, you’re such a handsome boy, yeah you are”, you coo.

Taehyung barks, huffing out air afterwards. His cheeks are glowing, he can’t seem to stay still. Oh he is so very precious. You have to lean in for a little kiss. Right on his forehead. Taehyung calms down a little afterwards, gazing up at you with parted lips.

“Sit”, you order and Taehyung obeys by sitting down on his heels and putting his balled fists in front of his knees. His back is straightened, his head is held high.

“Good boy. Now stay”, you tell him, watching in delight as Taehyung tenses his muscles just a little to keep the position.

You place the leather collar around his throat, making sure that it is tightened comfortably. He likes having it closed on the third hole, but you still make sure that it sits well.

“How is the tightness? Do you feel comfortable?”

Taehyung nods his head.

“That’s good. Tell me if something starts to hurt”, you say to which Taehyung nods his head again. You smile, rewarding him by giving him scratches under his chin.

Taehyung tilts his head back, wiggling his butt happily.

“Such a good boy. You’re such a good boy”, you praise, making Taehyung whimper softly, “now. Sit.”

He obeys instantly, hips rolling against nothing just once. He isn’t completely hard, but his bulge does look just that tiny bit bigger than before. Taehyung doesn’t always get super hard when he’s in puppy headspace. It’s more the praise that gets him hard. When he’s in puppy headspace he is in a more calm and relaxed state. Often, your play sessions consisted of nothing more than Taehyung wanting to play with one of his puppy toys or wanting to nap next to you all curled up with his ears and collar on while you scratched his back. You loved those sessions as they comforted you just as much as they did Taehyung. He was always so adorable and cute and gosh, you just wanted to pick him up and smother him in kisses. Sometimes, your play sessions were for sexual gratification as well, of course they were. Taehyung liked to perform oral on you during those sessions, exclusively kneeling on the floor while you held his leash and tugged on it whenever he did something well. Other times you enjoyed a passionate round of fucking in doggy style with his leash wrapped around your fingers and his grabby hands all over your body. You reach for the mitts, placing them on your lap. Taehyung eyes them, growing restless despite his otherwise so well manners. You don’t mind that he does, you can only imagine just how excited he actually feels at the aspect of finally wearing his dream mitts.

“They’re gonna look so pretty on you, I can feel it”, you tell him, opening the right glove for him, “paw.”

Taehyung obeys happily, placing his hand on your lap. He is breathing heavily, thighs rubbing together and eyes glassy in excitement.

“Are you excited?” you ask him.

“Yes”, he answers you in a raspy voice.

“Me too”, you say and take his hand to slip the glove on.

Taehyung exhales shakily, hips squirming and eyes sparkling like crazy. He feels so happy that he could scream. The second glove slipping onto his hand only increases those feelings to the point where he wants to squeal. He is actually wearing his dream mitts! Taehyung finally has puppy paws!

“There we go”, you say, caressing his gloved hands gently, “now you’ve got the cutest puppy paws ever.”

Taehyung whimpers. It sounds more human than dog-like, making you look at him in worry. He seems to practically glow in happiness, sparkly eyes focused on his paws and cheeks a deep red from pure excitement.

“What do you think?” you ask him.

“I wanna cry”, he confesses, “this, this is the m-most beautiful I’ve e-ever felt”, he says, looking up at you with glassy eyes.

“Well, you are the most beautiful”, you say, leaning down to cup his cheek and kiss his forehead, “you’re my beautiful puppy.”

“Oh god”, he presses out and then gives you cute bark. One that makes you giggle and smooch his forehead again for good measures.

Taehyung gets back into his usual position, looking so goddamn happy to be here. And he is. He is so, so happy. Being in position feels so good with those mitts on. He can’t accidentally open his fingers and therefore ruin the illusion of having paws and the fabric inside is so soft on his hands. He whimpers, doing it more dog-like than human, which lets you know that he was so ready to continue playing. He’s your little puppy again and you love that for him. He looks so, so happy.

“Do you want to go mhm?” you ask him.

Taehyung huffs out air, growing restless on the floor.

“Okay. Go”, you order, watching in delight as Taehyung breaks out of his sitting position to explore the living room. He looks so beautiful now that he’s in full gear and his knees don’t hurt anymore. He takes more confident steps and seems to move even happier. He stops when he is in the corner of the room where your little dracea is bathing in the afternoon sun. He looks at you, smiling the brightest, most beautiful smile ever.

“You look so amazing”, you say, smiling just as brightly, “how do you like them?”

“I love them”, he says before jumping into full spring (obviously as best as he can) to run back to you.

“Woow look at you run. You’re so fast now”, you gasp, clapping into your hands in utter happiness.

Taehyung climbs onto the sofa, attacking your face with kisses and soft licks as his butt wiggles like crazy.

“Ah baby”, you gasp, laughing until your tummy aches, “gosh, I know I’m happy too. You’re such a good boy, I’m happy too”, you giggle, holding him by his shoulder to fight him off gently, “gosh calm down, calm down.”

Taehyung whimpers and barks quietly, nuzzling his face into your neck just to nibble on it as carefully as possible. He can’t handle his happiness and he wants you to know. He actually felt like a puppy when he ran back to you. The mitts finally gave him the sort of sensations he has always been craving for and the kneepads finally prevented his knees from hurting after three steps. He can finally crawl around without pain which means he can stay on the floor as a puppy even longer!

He lifts his head, looking at you with lovedrunk eyes.

“Thank you so much”, he whispers, painting the fondest smile onto your face.

You cup his cheek, making him lean into the touch and for his eyes to fall closed.

“You deserve the fucking world, Kim Taehyung”, you say, “I want you to always be happy.”

“I am”, he says, “when I’m with you I am”, he adds, leaning in to rest his forehead against yours.

He plans on wearing his gear for the rest of the day. You play with his toys, make him catch his favourite stuffy and later when the moon replaced the sun you will make sweet love until you both fall asleep in exhaustion.

3. Momo can also mean peaches. So Yuki is doing a play on words here with Momo’s name now.

4. I don’t really know how to phrase this, but I believe this is just referencing Yuki cooking for Momo. Like how they say “a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” sort of thing. So this is a bit of a liberal translation as a literal translation would probably sound weird.

hiiii i like sending u asks so whos ur top three yj characters and why??

this might be the hardest question im gonna answer in my entire life.. *proceeds to respond with the longest word vomit ever known to mankind*

1.) i am a certified lottie matthews gurlie : )) she's just been such an interesting character throughout the series like i never really know what's going on with her (im pretty sure pookie doesn't either even if she insists she does lol.. istg every lottie scene is just me being absolutely flabbergasted and in a constant state of “WTF?”) and i know they all experienced varying degrees of trauma (i dont wanna turn this into a competition of who's had it the hardest pre and post crash) but i think lottie's character has one of the most tragic storyline, esp her life post-crash

2.) RESIDENT COLD GIRL JACKIE TAYLOR! this gurl was serving nothing but iconic vibes and lesbian comphet behavior and i am here for it. i was honestly surprised to learn that a lot of ppl dont like jackie cause she was a bit of a spoiled brat and while i do agree (cz she is LMFAO pooks literally died of pettiness) i feel like it's not necessary to paint her as either black or white cause she's also got a really complex character. like sure she has her mean girl moments (mostly because of the environment she was raised in and i think she wasn't really aware of that trait until shauna brought it up during their fight) but she's rarely ever malicious and i think she would've outgrown that trait given the chance. but also it could just be because im a sucker for mean-girl-highschool-queen-bee characters making me a huge jackie taylor apologist !

3.) misty quigley. no words of appreciation for her—maybe her (tho unplaced and is often expressed in the wrong ways)—loyalty and dependability, still tho she was literally just straight up batshit insane.. she killed 2 people (??), is responsible for them being trapped in the wilderness, and honestly speaking needs to be admitted to the ward cause that girl is psychotic but adult misty was so funny, she immediately became a fav.

ALSO must insert the yj background characters, i dont know their names i only know akilah and mari, but i love those girls so much season 2 was absolutely unhinged cause the mains are going through a horror show and these bitches r in the background like it's a mf camping trip playing cards and are like “.. oof bestie 👀 would you look at that? it's snowing pretty hard bet it's freezing cold out there 👀 ngl itd be nice to have a lottie mat-stew right now 🤤 but i do hope she gets home safely 😥... just.. you know hahah... if she ever happens to.. yk 🥰”

Watched the first ep of Lupin Zero! Unfortunately you have to register for a premium account to see ep 2, and there's a 30 day free trial, but they wouldn't accept my card, don't know why, will try again some other time I guess.

my thoughts below, a little bit spoilery

Episode one was fun and cute but I don't get it. Like, I understand the story, I just don't get why it was made. Why make it about kid Lupin? (answer: because it's Lupin and lots of people will watch it regardless of quality lol) It's such an interesting premise, but the episode is paced So. Damn. Fast. I was thinking this feels more like the summary of a cool episode than a cool episode well-executed - which is how I felt through most of part 6, even though the creative team is different. Kind of a bummer.

There were some really fun bits, like the chaotic scene in the night club, and Lupin and Jigen being little boys (I say that because they pillow fight and stuff, but c'mon, we all know they still do things like that). The scene with the cigarette at the end I loved of course, and the tea/coffee scene was funny (although, since Lupin already put in three sugar lumps, I'm not sure why he still found it bitter. Maybe he usually puts in six? lol) I liked the voice acting overall. They do a good job imitating Lupin and Jigen's speech styles, even though Jigen in particular does not sound like a child. Well, he was probably born with a full beard and smoking a cigarette.

I thought the animation was so-so. Sometimes I liked it and it reminded me of parts 4/5. Other times it was just really missing atmosphere. Like with Youko, her face is great, the expressions are just like Rebecca. But the animators were so concerned with making sure she had gigantic breasts that they forgot to give her proportionate legs... It's possible it just looks that way on my screen, but none of the other characters struck me as out of proportion. She looks freakishly top-heavy much of the time.

Story-wise... Well, you have a great concept: Lupin as the family heir, unsure of what path he wants to take, and he meets Jigen and they bond through a typical Lupin-style adventure. But there's no tension, no emotional build-up. The story happens exactly as it's laid out. They meet, they save Youko, the animators waste the budget on having her sing to them for some reason, they save her again, Lupin and Jigen unprompted decide to gush about their pasts and problems without issue despite having been close-lipped about it until then, they save the day. Aside from moments of friendly banter, there really isn't anything more going on. So the episode delivers what it promises... and only what it promises lol.

I just have no idea why they need to be kids. I don't know why Jigen stuck with Lupin. I don't know why Lupin decided to gush about his problems to Jigen out of the blue. I just don't know. XD

So I guess from here the question is what is the overarching theme of the series. If there is one. Possibly there's not and it's all just for shits and giggles. If so, the trailers shouldn't have made such a big deal about Lupin's struggle to determine his own path and escape being kept under his family's thumb. But I assume that's going to continue to play a role - it can't have been resolved in this first episode... can it? hahah. I have no faith in anything anymore.

oh also Jigen gets shot. I couldn't believe it. Episode one and he's already getting shot. And this ridiculous sad music starts to play as Lupin just stares at him clutching his bloody arm lmao. It's like the episode tried to make up for its lackluster parts by shooting Jigen. "If we shoot this guy the fans will forget that we didn't crank up the tension at all." lol

I wanna give this a chance, but yeah, the first episode is very forgettable. Not terrible, though. Like I said at first, it's cute and rather fun. Very middle of the road Lupin story is all. Too hyped for what it really is, in my opinion.

That being said. All may change with future episodes. Sometimes first episodes are treated as a summary of what the whole season overall will be like, and that's why they have a bit too much going on. Maybe the rest of the episodes will take better care with their pacing.

What routes do you think I should read after Napoleon’s? What are some of your favorite cards and events? I want to learn more about what you think of the game :) (I’m drawn to Isaac, Vincent, and Theo’s routes after Napo right now!)

The one thing about IkeVamp rn is that it feels slower than IkePri, but that’s likely because I’ve played the latter for longer and I’m just starting out in Vamp.

Hmm. Depends. If you don’t mind getting spoilers, do whichever you feel like it xD. But Shakespeare, Comte, Dazai and Sebastian were the latest routes. When I started playing ikevamp, Napoleon, Leonardo, Arthur, and Vincent were the routes available at that time.

If you’re looking for soft boys, you’ll probably like Isaac, Vincent, Comte. Some people think Vincent’s route is kinda boring and I understand them because compared to other routes there was not much going on. But as I like Vincent, I had a great time reading it. Vincent is one of the few routes I already did both ends. I prefer the romantic one for him.

I think the pace of Theo’s route is the opposite of Vincent’s due to their personality. I read Theo before Vincent, which was not the right order. Imo, it didn’t make a difference. But I think it’s important to play both brothers' routes if you want to get all details about their past lifes.

If you wanna get to know some tsunderes, then definitely Mozart and Theo. Mozart’s route is very underrated if you ask me. Mozart is my type of tsundere.

If you like slow burn romances, Jean and Sebastian are my favorite routes. But there is also Dazai, which is a very intriguing character. I also did Sebastian twice. I prefer the romantic route for him. But his dramatic is very interesting as well because you get more info about his past.

There are only 2 routes in ikevamp that I don’t wanna read again cuz I didn’t like: Theo and Comte’s. I will not explain why I didn’t like them cuz Idk if I can do it without giving spoilers lol. But that's just a matter of preferences. I know people who loved those routes.

I��m not that good in remembering the name of the events hahah, but without a doubt, ‘your wish is my command’ is my favorite story event. I also like the revival that's an AU where MC reincarnated and the boys are trying to find her again.

This next bit will only resonate for some of you, but I'm getting that some of you are torn on the esoteric in general. Even doubting this reading while you're reading it. There's soo much indecision here. HAHAH Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash just started playing, BABE. You seem to have a lot of intuitive abilities but you second guess and go back and forth until your thoughts are so muddled that you don't even know what you thought in the first place. You have this weird view of yourself where you think you're incapable of knowing what you want and what is best for you? You may have been the type to always be what the people around you needed and now you're not sure who you actually are. I'm seeing for some of you the people around you also think stuff like tarot is bullshit, so you feel like you have to act like that you do too. I'm hearing 'cut through the bullshit'.

The first way you can embrace the High Priestess's energy, y'all are already doing. You're asking for advice and getting a tarot reading, you go, babe! Second: Y'all need to trust your own judgments more. I know that sounds impossible but you can start small. Make a lil choice and stick with it, order something you've been wanting to try at a restaurant. Remind yourself that wanting something is reason enough. Doing something that makes you happy is reason enough to do it. You don't have to always be making the most logical decision, it's okay and it's important to enjoy things. Third: If you're having trouble figuring out who you are when no one is around. Try writing down a list of things you know you do and don't like. Don't show it to anyone. Start with something small, like food. Then music, what songs do you maybe pretend to like? What's your 'guilty pleasure' music? Don't be too hard on yourself with it. Everyone has things like this. It's like preemptively telling people that your weird before they can think it. When actually your passing that judgment on yourself and not letting them get to know you enough to form their own view of you. You may be into 'darker' or more stereotypically 'weird' things, which isn't a bad thing. No judgments here. It's that you seem to be sorta weaponizing being different against others and yourself. Once you learn to look beyond the surface of others and let yourself get out of your head you will be amazed at your intuitive gifts. You're capable of so much more than you think you are. You are strong. You need to realize that. You need to realize that you will be okay even if someone does judge you. Find people with shared interests, share your interests with others. It's okay if they don't like it. You can still enjoy it all you want. If they do like it, then you have a new person to enjoy it with. You have significance outside of niche interests. "You're so silly. Get your butt here."

Bakugo shrugs and pouts angrily but eventually lets his body fall on me and weighing me down on the couch as I try to lift him off me. I laugh at his silliness, knowing that this is the best way someone like him can show affection. He lets his guard down so rarely after all, doesn't even want to show softness, ever. Only with me he does. He can be mellow, can't express it in words easily though.

"Tsk, I don't want to go to the stupid party with all the stupid bastards", he growls while finally making himself comfortable without hurting me.

"You promised! Besides, everyone's waiting for you", I run my fingers through his hair, "You know how much Kirishima has been waiting to see you!" I could tell by his look at this was somehow enough for him to accept attending the party with me. All his UA classmates would be there.

"Whatever! I have to train." In a swift move he gets up and leaves the room, like he always does.

"Bakugo--! Wait!" he stops without turning to look at me. "D-Do you wanna spend the night?" I gulped.

"I have to train", he says and leaves.

And at times like these, I ask myself, what the hell am I really doing. Having a crush on Bakugo Katsuki? That's far enough. Establishing a relationship with him? That's so far beyond the line of sanity. More times than not, I question myself for any signs of emotional masochism, because this really doesn't feel like a mutual feeling. Yes, he can be soft and sweet, would never admit it, though. Yes, somehow, he does like me in a sexual way, at least, or maybe considers me as a way to relieve stress? The past three months and a half have been so exciting, and I've been.. happy. But..

This really isn't enough for me. If only I could do anything to make him say what's in his mind, 'cause his actions really really don't match with his words. And then again, well, whatever, never mind, it could all be way worse for me..

꒱࿐♡ ˚.*ೃ

On the day of the party, Bakugo was supposed to pick me up at 8 and head over to Kirishima's together, since I've never been to his place before. I put extra effort on picking an outfit I like and felt pretty cute and confident in it. At 7:45 I was already by the door, tying my shoes and receiving a text message by Uraraka-chan.

[19:45] From: Uraraka-chan<3 I can't wait for tonight! Deku-kun will also be there, haven't seen him in two weeks! Don't be late Y/N :D

I smiled at myself and happiness overflew in me. Don't want to jinx it but tonight sounds ideal; Bakugo agreed to come, I'm going to see everyone, even Midoriya found time off his strict training schedule, and Uraraka-chan is very happy, as well, I am glad.

But as I waited for Bakugo, the clock turned 8. And then 5 minutes after 8. And then a quarter past 8.

Normally, that's acceptable, since when one is late, they probably have informed you beforehand. Or at least, an apology is waiting for you at their arrival. Oh, but when Bakugo arrived..

"What took you so long?!!" My mood, the outfit I wore that I liked, the excitement, all had disappeared.

"SO WHAT, I had training to do! Deku has been training all week!", he snapped back at me and frowned. "Let's go damn it!"

"You're unbelievable-! That's how you treat me?!" This time, I was not going to take it.

"Tsk, you don't understand"

"At least you could have told me you were at practice..! Not arrive, what, a quarter to 9 and not even apologizing for keeping me waiting?!"

"YOU attacked me right when I arrived, when I would I apologize?!"

I refrained from saying anything else. I didn't want to completely ruin my mood for the party.

"Okay, stop." I let out a sigh. "Let's go. I really want to enjoy the party. I even wore that outfit that it took me so long to come up with, I really wanna enjoy it.." I closed and locked the door behind us and Bakugo just stared at me.

The road to Kirishima's was quiet. I caught a few glimpses of Bakugo walking by me and leading the way. Surprisingly, he didn't say anything at all. We passed by the river, it was beautiful and I so wanted to comment on the cherry blossoms showing as the path alongside it.

I tried not to overthink about this but it was bothering me, that Bakugo didn't even consider my feelings. He stood me up. This definitely isn't what you expect of your partner to do. Details like this, how he never calls me just to talk to me, he never texts me "good morning" or "good night" like my friends' significant others do, how we've never really agreed to have a proper date but always meet up at home, eat inside and are secretive, I don't like that. I think I am the only one in this relationship.

Heck, there is no real relationship. Friends with benefits, after all.

"(Y/N)! Bakugo-kun! You've arrived at last!" Uraraka-chan was the first one to greet us by the door.

"I'm sorry we're late, I asked Bakugo to pick me up since he lives so close-by, but he was training and couldn't leave early", I felt my cheeks flush up. Everyone's attention was on us and I didn't like it. "Besides, Kirishima-kun! Thanks for having us!"

Thankfully, I quickly felt comfortable and no one talked about how they've been waiting for us. We had a fun time, joking around, eating cakes that Sato baked and listening to what everyone's been up to on their vacation. I was able to forget about Bakugo's attitude, but every time I looked at him, it all came back to me, so I tried to avoid him as much. But still, I was able to catch glimpses of him, noticing that he never looked at me too. I am better than this.

I got up to pout myself some water and when I came back I noticed that Deku had joined Uraraka and they were cheerfully engaging in conversation by themselves, so I decided I wouldn't go back to Uraraka and third wheel them. Instead I decided to get some fresh air and went outside. The cold wind felt so nice on my face but I could tell I'd soon be cold enough to return inside.

"Y/N!", I didn't even hear Kirishima opening the balcony's door.

"Kirishima-kun, are you having fun?"

"For sure! I'm glad you could bring Bakugo with you. Wasn't really sure he'd come, since he's been eager to train as much as he can during the vacation time, but maybe having to accompany you made him responsible to come" Kirishima smiled and he'd never looked so innocent to me before.

"Ah, I just guess he came for you Kirishima-kun. You're his best friend after all."

We laughed and I suddenly felt really soft and comfortable talking about Bakugo with him.

"Kirishima-kun, you're great.. I wish I had a relationship with someone like you!"

And then I realized what I just said. Kirishima turned red and I no longer felt cold outside.

"Y/N, I-I don't think I like you like t-that.."

"Ah! No, it's okay, I don't think I do either.."

What am I saying, I know I like Bakugo.

I know he said he didn't like me but the vibe sure felt weird and tense and somehow comfortable. I could so simply say things like these with Kirishima and it did feel awkward but it was okay, we could sit in silence. And it was easier to stay outside now.

But then he called out my name, and I couldn't read his face. He surely thought that I might like him now. I noticed Bakugo was arguing with Iida-kun by the door, when Kirishima raised his hand to cup my cheek and-

"Can I kiss you?" he whispered.

Why am I not pulling back? Maybe he wants to find out if he'd feel something.. maybe I do as well. Bakugo wouldn't even care anyways. He wouldn't be the least jealous if he saw us.

"Yes", I whispered back and closed my eyes only to feel his soft lips on mine.

It lasted a few seconds but I knew for sure that this wasn't what I felt when I kissed Bakugo. Kirishima was now smiling softly as me and I knew we were on the same page. And this will be between us and nothing will be affected. Except that something caught his attention and he gasped ; I turned to see who else other than Bakugo staring at us.

He looked mad, but doesn't he almost always?

Suddenly I felt overwhelmed with regret towards him.

He wasn't supposed to get jealous, he has no right to!

"Ah, Bakugo saw us maybe", Kirishima shrugged, "He probably thinks we're stupid hahah"

I chuckled, not to make my uncomfortableness look so obvious and we headed back inside, since Bakugo had also disappeared from the entrance.

The rest of the night I felt so out of place and it was hard not to show, but I had to. Spent it mostly chatting with the girls and playing cards and board games.

But soon enough, it was time to go.

Midoriya had already left and so had some of the others that aren't late nighters, and I felt tired from all the tension of the day. I was glad that I had some fun though.

"I'm off, everyone!" I greeted them and put on my shoes and coat.

"I'm going to. Have to train early tomorrow"

I froze. Bakugo was also leaving and this could only mean he wanted to confront me.

I waited for him to be greeted by everyone as well. It was inevitable, we'd go the same way anyways.

But Bakugo didn't say anything. He started pacing fast and it was kind of hard to keep up.

When we reached the cherry blossoms, Bakugo stopped.

"Are you stupid? Why did you do that?!"

He was indeed jealous!

"What does it matter to you even!". Tears were forming in my eyes, I felt so guilty! But it wasn't entirely my fault!

"TO ME? That you're stupid?"

"What does it matter to you??! It didn't even matter to me!"

"Then WHY DID YOU DO THAT"

Bakugo turned around but he wasn't looking at me.

"..I.. don't know... I was curious.. "

"Tsk, 'curious', what even..!"

"I was, okay?! Kirishima was being so nice to me..."

"And you had to be stupid?!"

"STOP it! Okay? This, this is why I did that. Because I can no longer pretend that you care about me! You made that clear today!"

"I don't go around doing things a scumbag would do!"

Bakugo was starting to redden up, he had become really angry..

"BUT YOU DO!" I shouted, glad that we were the only ones on the street. "You do, when you're late and don't inform me, you do when you're embarrassed and secretive of me, you do when you never really tell me what's on your mind"

"You.." he frowned. "And YOU GO AND DO THAT"

"YES because MAYBE, MAYBE HE would actually LIKE me!"

He seemed to be taken aback. And I was properly crying. And I felt the cold wind against my face and hands. It was too bad we're ruining the effect of the beautiful cherry blossoms.

"Stupid.. STUPID STUPID STUPID", he was now pulling his hair in anger.

"Bakugo, stop! What are you doing!" I rushed out and grabbed him by his shoulders forcing him to look at me. And I felt guilty and sad to see him this angry but this had to mean something.

He looked away, avoiding my gaze at all costs.

"I should be asking you why are you being like this now..", I said softly. "It.. hurts to think about this, but did it feel like you were losing towards Kirishima?"

No answer.

"I'm sorry anyways, I am too tired to argue anymore and I'm sorry I kissed him. I.. didn't think it'd make you angry"

"Tsk, what are you apologizing for, loser.."

Bakugo's voice was soft and quiet..!

"I should be the one saying sorry. I FAILED don't you understand? I didn't make my feelings clear to you"

What?

"All this time, I've been failing to this, I don't no a thing about romance"

"And you never even said anything, either! You just went along when I first kissed you!"

I had nothing to say. Suddenly, everything seemed so meaningless, because he was opening up to me.

"Bakugo.."

"No, shut up, you listen to me now. It drives me crazy cause I can't concentrate and think about you all the time! I LIKE YOUR STUPID ASS"

This can't be for real. I've always wanted him to open up but I never..

"SAY SOMETHING"

"Can you.. say that again?", I was too startled.

I'd forgotten I'd been holding him weirdly and suddenly felt conscious about being so close to him, when I've been closer to him so many times before, but not like this.

"Tsk, I like you stupid ass, stupid", he frowned jokingly and it was his turn to wrap his arms around me. "I like your stupid stupid ass."

My cheeks have probably never flushed as this much before.

"I like you"

He kept repeating and I felt like I could faint.

"And I promise, I won't ignore my feelings anymore and I won't be USELESS!"

I backed away to look at him.

"Bakugo,.. does this mean, we're really together?"

And Bakugo blushed!

"Yeh" he simply said.

I couldn't help but smile and the cherry blossoms were beautiful around us.

Then, Bakugo tightened his grip on my waist and brought me closer. He kissed my cheek and looked at me again. And I couldn't decide over staring at his eyes or kissing him that moment.

But I couldn't bring myself to stop, I leaned forwards and felt his soft pouty lips against mine, his warmth transmitting to my skin. And we didn't pull back for a few moments.

"Do you want to stay over, Bakugo?"

And he nodded excitedly as we walked home together.
